0fiscper Fiscal Yr / P required to be converted to 0fiscper3 posting period

Hi I need a quick help, please resolve my issue in step by step. Report is required to display the 0 fiscper3 (posting period)and 0fiscyear (fiscal year) in bw report. I have a  0fiscper Fiscal Yr / Period in my datasource and infosource but not 0fiscper3 (posting period)and 0fiscyear (fiscal year). Can any body help me how to add the abap code to convert the 0fiscper Fiscal Yr / Period to display 0fiscper3 (posting period)and 0fiscyear (fiscal year in report or how to add by abap code 0fiscper3 (posting period)and 0fiscyear (fiscal year)in datasource. User will select the value of 0FISCYEAR
Fiscal year during the execution of report. please help

In de update rules from infosource to datatarget you fill the rules like this:
For 0FISCYEAR:
  result = comm_structure-fiscper(4).
For 0FISPER3
  result = comm_structure-fiscper+4(3).
Note that this can also be done by using formula's. If you can't ABAP you may prefer to use formula's.

    Hi Soniya,
Y don't you enhance ur datasource with these fields?
Anyways the workaround could be add 0FISCPER3 and 0FISCYEAR in ur data target, and write ABAP code for it in transformation.
Map 0FISCPER with both the fields, and now click rule type of both the fields independently.  Select rule type as routine.
0FISCPER stores data in format YYYYPPP, so you have to write code accordingly.
Likie in 0FISCPER3 assign last 3 digits of 0FISCPER to 0FISCPER3 and first 4 to 0FISCYEAR.
Suppose u have pne temp variable with name fis_yp which stores value of 0FISCYEAR. For getting period from it you have to write:
    period = fis_yp+4(3), ( 3 characters from 4 place)
    and similarly for year,
    year = fis_yp+0(4),  ( 4 charaters from 0 place)
I hope now u can write code for it easily?

  • Can we only year value from "0FISCPER" (Fiscal Year/Period) at BEx level

    Hi all,
I have two time characteristics "0FISCYEAR" (Fiscal Year) and "0FISCPER" (Fiscal Year/Period). In DSO initially "0FISCPER" was there and later request came to add "0FISCYEAR". Now data in char. "0FISCPER" is since beginning (from 2000) and for char. "0FISCYEAR" is since 2010.
User's requirement is to create a report which will display data Year wise.
My issue is if i am using "0FISCYEAR" then user is not able to see year instead it shows #. I dont want to do data reloading as this is GL data and hold huge no. of records in it.
So my concern is : Is there any way to use only year value from "0FISCPER" (Fiscal Year/Period) at BEx level? Is there any setting which I can apply and get the same value of Year as I can see from "0FISCYEAR". Please assist me on this.
    Thanks,
    Arvind

    Hi Arvind,
Your requirement can be realised through virtual characteristics.
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b04be008-86cc-2c10-4bad-e517ea3f4c80?QuickLink=index&…
however, I would still suggest to reload the data. you will only need to reload years before 2010 and you can do this in phases.
    Hope this helps.

  • HT201897 Does a Mac Mini purchased in the USA require a power converter for operation in Europe or should I only purchase a different power cord for it?

Does a Mac Mini purchased in the USA require a power converter to operate outside of the USA or can I simply purchase a different power cord for it?

Depending on which European country (should their mains access plug/port shape vary) the
cord set with correct ends on it has to match. You can buy a cord that plugs into the Mini
where the factory cord goes, and the other end has one for the wall source shape. The wire
for the application should be able to support 110~240VAC.
With the cord or an accurate image in hand, you could either get a new cable to match both
realities (mini + wall supply mains local) or an adapter (US/Standard to EU/Local) for just
the head or input part of the original Apple cable. One plugs into the other, then into wall.
If you have a new Mini with a small modular plug/port on the computer end of the power wire,
it would have only two holes and no ground; the other end would have two prongs of equal
shape and size. Not a polarized plug and not a grounded three-prong. To get a replacement
power wire for the MINI to go from power source to the Mini is recommended, if you are going
to be staying in one location for awhile. A Travel Kit that offers no electrical conversion but only
the physical shape adapter kit, should a available in travel stores, airports; big box discount
stores, computer and electronic stores. This page shows the cord end of the appliance shapes.
The other end would be the mains shape for whichever country you are going to....
    http://www.signalandpower.com/European-Power-Cords/
So to match the country or regional power mains type is a primary concern for obtaining the
correct replacement cord to supply the Mini with local mains power. The end which plugs into
the Mini is of a certain type (numbers for EU and elsewhere are published, see link + images)
& the end that gets plugged into the mains or utility side, needs to match the local specification.
The link to Apple, to contact for Support and Service information in prior post, should be able
to help find a source for the local replacement type cord they'd sell local people with a Mini.
Apple local sources offer replacements for this purpose; and for travelers, a second cord for
a direct use (not adapter plugs) is a better bet. For those who only need a cord in two places.
If you are traveling to Denmark, UK, Swiss or other EU countries require different adapters.
Even places where the power itself may be somewhat similar. However your MINI has an
automatic power supply that will conform to that energy standard, you only need to supply a
correct non-transforming adapter. Simply a connection to adapt one shape to another.
The general purpose travel kit that is not specialized to Apple power adapters, would have a
plastic plug/adapter with the local pins on one side, and the US/standard two slots on the other.
So, no circuitry nor any other change of electrical power inside this device would be required.
    http://www.signalandpower.com/2-Prong-Plug-Adapters/
    http://www.signalandpower.com/Convert-to-Europe-CEE-716-plug/
    http://www.signalandpower.com/Swiss-AC-Power-Cords/
In other words, I believe my other post already covered this. On the ground on either end of the
path, adapters are common and the Mini does not use proprietary electrical components IF you
have one of the more recent shape aluminum models with the power supply built in. The older
Mini has the power brick and two wires. A US/Standard plug adapter to EU/Local would work in
either case, since all you'd do is plug the adapter plug into the local mains and the US plug into
that one... I see these kinds of discards for as little as 25¢ in thrift stores in Alaska. Or you can
buy a new one. Or you could get a complete cord with correct ends on it, for Mini + local mains.
Hopefully this helps somewhat. The only info missing is which EU country or region is involved.
Their shapes of plug are different, so the adapter end for local supply has to match their standard.
Swiss, Denmark, UK, and others offer different shapes and so on.
The Apple store in the location you are traveling should be able to supply you with a replacement
cable for a modern MINI, that has the correct local mains end, and the correct Apple mini end on
the opposite. Since the unit is automatically switching, the magic is done.
Since I supplied a means to locate any number of Apple stores, authorized service providers &
other Apple related vendors in my earlier reply: https://locate.apple.com/country you could contact
any of them along your route in the City in whichever EU country, to find a local MINI power cable.
    In any event, I'm done...
    Good luck and happy trails...

  • Record 1 :Time conversion from 0CALDAY to 0FISCPER (fiscal year A1 ) failed

Get red error when loading Delta data and the red error is:
Record 1 :Time conversion from 0CALDAY to 0FISCPER (fiscal year A1 ) failed with value 20060426
We went to RSA1 -> Source Systems page, right click on the source system, choose Transfer Global Settings, check "Fiscal year variants" and check "Rebuild tables" and then run it twice, but still not helpful that we always get the above red error!
    Any idea?
    Thanks

    hi Anurag,
You are right that run OB29 on BW, find there is no any period entry for variant A1.  Since all the variant should come from R3 by run "Global Transfer Settings" on the source system, I run OB29 on R3 and find the same thing that there is no any period entry for fiscal year variant A1.  I will go ahead to ask R3 people to correct it on R3, then conduct the "Global Transfer Settings".
    Thanks

    Hi,
Pls Look for the erroneous records in PSA.
Compare the error records with the correct one's.
This is due to the difference in the date format..
Follow the format in the correct records.
For the time being you can edit these records in the PSA to the correct format and continue with the load, and later you will hav to make the changes in the source system.

  • New posting period for former fiscal year

    Hello All!
For a customer we set up a database with posting periods for 2011 and 2012 (monthly periods). The database went live in 2011.
Now the requirement came up to post the opening balances for 2011 per end of 2010 (to have the postings not in fiscal year 2011).
My question is: is it a problem to add now a fiscal year 2010 (yearly basis)?
    Thanks and regards
    Peter Ganserer

    Hi Peter,
Although it is your 2nd posting, I would add welcome message because I had not do so 1st time.
For your question, it is not possible to add new posting period for former fiscal year. You best solution is to post those OB as the first date of the first period.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Data column (for posting period) converted to COMPARISON COLUMN

    Hi all,
I use 'posting period'(derived from fiscal period/year) in the data column and assigned CHAR-posting period to a variable (the value is 1.2.3....12) in the planning level.
When I execute my layout, I got an error message: Data column 2 will be converted into a comparison column.
    Diagnosis:
You have entered variable ZFIU004 in data column 2 and provided it with an offset. This results in values arising for variable ZFIU004, which are no longer within the selection, which was defined for the variable.
    Can someone please advise me?

    Hi,
What is the selection maintained for posting period on the level.
    thanks

  • Fiscal year and posting period

    Hai friends,
I have a requirement like this,
when I choose say 02/2008(posting period/fiscal year or posting period and fiscal year) in the Variable.  I also get data for the last twelve months….so my report would have
    02/2008,01/2008 ,12/2007…………………………………….03/2007.
This variable should default to current posting period/fiscal year. So when somebody logs in he sees the current month and last twelve months. He can then change it to whatever he wants.
The way I see it is that I have to write a customer exit and create a variable in which in “to” we will have current fiscal year/period and in “from” will have “Current fiscal year/period-12”.
    How to do this.
    Any help will be rewarded.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Your approach is right.
If you want the values to default and allow the users to change it, you should put the code under STEP I.
    WHEN 'variable'.
    IF I_STEP = 1.
    REFRESH e_t_range.
    CLEAR l_s_range.
    l_s_range-sign = 'I'.
    l_s_range-opt = 'BT'.
    l_s_range-low =  'Current Value - 11 periods'
    l_s_range-high = 'Current Value'
    APPEND l_s_range TO e_t_range.
    Mathew.

  • WINDOWS MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK 4.0 - A required certificate is not within its validity period

    Hello,
I can't figure out if this is because the Root Certificates were updated in April 2014 then apparently expired by Microsoft or if the PowerShell installer signed this file with a bad software release signature??
We were deploying PowerShell 4.0 (Windows6.1-KB2819745-x64-MultiPkg.msu) with ConfigMgr 2012 with a dependency of .NET Framework 4.5.1.  Everything was working fine until sometime around April 24 (exact date unknown).  Now any
Win 7 SP1 machines I try to update will not install WMF 4.0.  They installed .NET 4.5.1 without any trouble..
The digital signature on it it states it was signed Sept 27 2013 and the certificate expires 4/24/2014.
Even if we change the system clock to April 1 2014 it still will not install.. but this shouldn't matter anyway.  They just can't sign new software with that certificate.. surely I can install it..
    As for a log... If I run as C:\Windows\ccmcache\3>wusa.exe Windows6.1-KB2819745-x64-MultiPkg.msu /log:c:\windows\ccmcache\3\broken.txt
    In the broken.txt I see:

Result Code of the update:0X4 HRESULT of the update: 0X800b0101
Install Worker.01243: Failed install update Update for Windows (KB2819745)
Install Worker.01287: Exit with error code 0X800b0101 (A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file.)
WINDOWS MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK 4.0 FOR MICROSOFT OPERATING SYSTEM PRODUCTS

I don’t know what to do here.  Anyone else having this problem?

    Hi All,
When I try to add a new entry in the transaction OB52, I get an error message saying 'Posting period 000 is not defined for fiscal year variant K4'. The entry that I add is,

    Year               : 1995
    To Period        : 12

    From Period2  : 13
    Year               : 2000
    To period2      : 16
    Year               : 2010
Please let me know what customising needs to be done to solve this issue.
    Thanks a ton.
    Best Regards,
    Jeff

    Hi,
Hava you checked in OB52 screen, by default 0001 posting period variant will be there for +, A, D, K, S account types.
If it is already existed in your OB52 screen, you won't create one more record with the same name. You have to edit the existing 0001 posting period with new values.
    Thanks

  • Can a weekly fiscal year variant have different number of posting periods?

    Hi Friends,
Our demand planning team needs a weekly fiscal year variant (X) that will be assigned to all material master data.  X is year dependent and needs to be consistent with our fiscail year variant Y which is assigned to all company codes.
I input "52" as number of posting periods for X, but the problem is: every 6 years, there is an additional week in this fiscal year.
This means, the number of posting period is also year dependent.  Although most of fiscal years have 52 posting periods, some will have 53 posting periods instead.
I cannot create another fiscal year variant Z just for these 53 posting periods, because the material master data is not year dependent, I can only assign either Y or Z.
Have you ever encountered this situation?  If so, could you please share your solution?
    Thanks,
    Jennifer

You can always have 53 period year independent fiscal year variant as explained below.
We have 365 days in normal year, and 366 days in leaf year(comes every 4 years).
In leaf year you will get 8 days in period 9 and 1 day in period 53.
In normal years all periods 7 days and 1 day in period 53
    Month       Day       Period
    1                    7             1
    1                   14            2
    1                   21            3
    2                   25            8
    3                   4              9
    12                 23           51
    12                 30           52
    12                 31           53
You can have the same Fiscal year variant always.
Hope this will workout for you
