2.8Ghz seen as a 1.6Ghz HELP! ;) + Other Questions

First off, I want to thank anyone that replies to this post as I appreciate the help.
So, I just received my new MSI 865PE Neo2-FISR MB and having problems with it seeing my processor correctly. Inside the Windows System info screen it shows it as a 2.8GHZ but underneath shows it running at 1.6. I have ran the Core Center software and it also states a speed of 1597Mhz.
I've seen a few other posts online with people having the same issue as I but they were related to memory (I'm not sure if this is the case). My system specs are below.
MSI NEO 2 MB
Intel 2.8Ghz FSB800 Processor
Corsair 256MB DDR400 PC3200 Memory
MSI Geforce 4600 Ti
2 WD 40GB Hard Disks in a Raid 0 Array
I've tried a different set of memory and still had the same problem. Any time i move the system speed above Fast, the system does not post with a diagnostic of:
1.Red, 234. Green.
Are there any jumper or bios settings that i'm missing to get the extra jump? The system see's it but it doesnt accept it.
Second Question: I have 2 IDE drives that i'm using in a Raid 0 Array attached to IDE3. Can you tell me if there is any performance increase since both drives are on the same chain? I dont have SATA drives yet and this MB looks like it has a half ass attempt to support IDE Raid.
Any help is appreciated and if you have any questions or need other pictures, i'll be happy to post them.

So i've got a friend of mine that has the exact same setup as mine except he's using a ATI 9700. I've found that when the proc was originally added to the system it was seen as a 2.4Ghz. Upon the Flash Bios update it came up as a 1.6. After making the multiplier changes it is now seen as it's supposed to be, a 2.8. Thanks again for the help. :D
Currently, i'm still having a problem to where if i move the speed setting above fast it still does not post. Can someone tell me what exactly changes in the bios when i make that change? Is it just added a couple Mhz to the FSB?
Also, does anyone know of any sw to where i can get more info on my proc? I purchased this from a friend going from a Soyo Dragon 3.06Gh FSB 533 system to my new MSI Neo2 2.8Ghz running at 800FSB ->I think!. The system seems to be incredibly slower and i'm about to run a few more 3dbenchmark test to see if i'm somewhat close to where i was before. Does anyone know how much 200Mhz can make a difference? One other note...The DOT throws the system up to 2950Mhz or so during very intensive utilization uner burnintest and it passed with flying colors...although for some reason, the system as a whole feels a miss.

I suspect the salesperson that told you that meant your online account with your carrier...have you tried logging into your carrier account online? To do this will require the sim number on your sim card, as well as the phone's IMEI number...you get the sim number off the sim card & the IMEI number, for the phone, is printed on the box.

Thanks for your reply. This video was recorded by my own professional camera, Sony PMW EX 3, two years back. But I am neither a professional cameraman nor an editor. I am just like a beginner in both. Hi Pete. The repair of disk permissions can help resolve any application crashing or misbehaving.
As for Lion and the two camps, I think that is a reasonable observation. In my office we have about a dozen Mac's and about one third of those Mac's had problems after updating from 10.6 to 10.7. The main problem for these Mac's was a loss of wifi stability. But for the other two-thirds, Lion was a smooth transition.
Personally, my Lion experience was fine. But I did get a new i7 MacBook Pro with Lion already installed and only had to migrate my user data from a 10.6.8 TM backup.
So I think that is a key for Lion's operational success. A clean install of Lion on a new Mac would not cause too many operational issues. But an installation, or more correctly, an update to Lion from SL increased the chances of failure for some users - especially when old software & plugins resided on the Mac. And I would say that they were the people that you saw at the Apple store.
As for the "latest release of Lion fixed my problems" statement, my experience with these and other forums is that people mostly only go there to complain about the problems they are having. If they are having no problems then they either keep it to themselves or they try to help the users who are experiencing trouble...

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Help other than SAP help to be integrated

Dear All,
Can you please help me regarding the following issues
1) My customer wants us to integrate a help other than SAP help or a help using RWD infopak. Is it possible?
2) We are planning to develop the help in a HTML format or something similar to it. Can anyone tell is it possible from a field in transaction to call a URL whre the help for that field will be displayed.
3) Any suggestions on how to develop the help and integrate??

you can place (install) the help files on any machine you want, at least it has a web server on it.
you can then specify the "Server Name" and "Path" in SR13 to this server (e.g. Server Name = mywebserver.mycompany.com:1080, Path = helpdata)
the clients open the associated program to the extension of the files (in case of .chm and .html it would be most likely the Internet Explorer)

So I thought I would make this informal, light-hearted post about how to help other and get help on the community :)
A Community is About Mutual Relations
This means that people help you, so that you help them. You share your newly gained knowledge, so others can benefit. You get help, and then you help others by replying to their topics.
It Always Pays to be Polite
People will want to help you more if you are polite, with no swearing or hate speech. We all get annoyed from time to time, and some get annoyed more than others. We understand that the product you're paying for isn't working, but screaming, shouting and swearing about it won't help. Be polite, and help will come.
Always Pack as Much Information in as Possible
Often I am trying to help others, and there is just not enough info posted for me to help them well. This slows down the support they can get, which makes them further annoyed. To solve this issue post as much info as you possibly can:
Any error messages
A description of what is happening
What have you tried to do to fix it
What happened when you tried to fix it
Oh, a screenshot always helps ;)
Don't Post Personal Info
Almost every day I have to report a post for containing an email address, telephone number and sometimes even the users home address. Apart from being against the community guidelines, this is rather stupid. These forums are public, and any person, bot, stalker or alien entity can see it. So just don't post them - it would save everyone's time ;)

If you have 11,000 songs in a Spotify playlist (not as local files you own) you won't be able to mark them all to be available offline, since Spotify limits each device to 3,333 offline stored tracks due to licensing restrictions.

How to start helping others in Forums

I've been receiving help from others in Forums for a little while now, and I think it's time I started to give back.
What is this point system I see in so many places?
What is a good way to start reviewing questions and providing assistance where I can?
I assume there is a way to review new posts. Should I just "join", I'm not sure what that means, a forum when I have knowledge, and look for new posts?
I'm willing to spend my time and lend my knowledge to help others, as so many others have helped me. I could use a little advice regarding how to get started.

If you click on your profile, and click on the FAQ link, you will get a great resource explaining what the point system is and how to utilize it. Mostly, the point system is about providing answers to people, and having them marked as answers by the
person who asked the question.
As for a way to start reviewing and answering questions, either choose a forum to stick to, or like me, just keep it on the general page, and review the questions. When you see a question you have an answer for, click reply and answer it. I
don't believe there is a set protocol for providing the answer. When you answer a question, you can click on the "Alert me" link, to receive emails when new reply's are posted.
When I joined a couple months ago, I first posted a question, then just stuck around and eventually saw some questions I had an answer for. This is what started me on the path of becoming a knowledgeable person who can answer the questions in the Forum.
I am sure everyone will appreciate your knowledge base, and will appreciate your answers.
I am not sure if I answered your questions, but I do hope this helps.

***READ*** iTunes Download and Launch for XP Solved, May Help Others*******

Well after hours of scouring my computer I have found the answer and solved my problem. People might want to make a note of this because it was simple and much less frustrating then some of the other instructions I have found on here:
1st- After downloading Itunes I was getting the "itunes encountered a problem and must shut down" error when trying to launch it. I was also getting the "buffer overrun" error when attempting to start Quick Time.
2- I hit ctrl, Alt, delete to bring up the task manager. I noticed 3 processes running in the background- "iPodService.exe", "iTunesHelper.exe" and "AppleMobileDevic...". this was a surprise to me since I never downloaded iTunes before....HOWEVER I discovered by searching my computer that my 17 year old son had about a year ago. He attempted to uninstall the programs BUT these processes remained even though nothing showed up in the installed programs from start>all programs. Also did not show up in the add/remove installed software. In any event here is what I did:
I first ended all three processes in task manager. I second went into Start>Search and ran 3 seperate searches for "iPod", "Apple" and "iTunes". Deleted any and all references and dll's. Be careful with the Apple search do not simply select all of your findings and hit delete because applets shows up in the search and u need them for your other programs. Simply delete anything from Apple Computer. Then I ran CCleaner which is available free from www.ccleaner.com. Click on issues and it will give u a laundry list of missing dll's and unused ones. Then by hitting Fix selected issues it safely deletes the registry entries no longer being used. For safety it gives you the option of backing up your registry entries but i have had zero problems doing it. Run that a few times till u get the "No Issues" found message. Then I closed all and redownloaded the new iTunes with quick time and all seems to be working!!! I just got my iPod so im gonna test further but as far as the downloading and opening of the programs on my XP that solved the issue. Hope this helps others.

iTunes, like other applications, will sometimes have issues trying to install from a different admin user than the one used to first install it.
Did your son install iTunes with a different account? If so, your previous post did not include the fact your son had previously installed iTunes, or I would have suggested trying the install while logged in under his account.

Ok, I’ve been developing Windows apps since Win 3.1 (yeah, a long time) and have always admired the Microsoft attitude towards Developers and it’s desire to educate and empower R&D.
So, I’m wondering what’s going on? Why am I being asked to have an account to develop anything for MY own PC? Why am I being asked for my Microsoft account password, repeatedly, when I’m just looking up documentation on UserControl or C3 keywords…
repeatedly? This is nothing short of annoying and it gives me pause and concern about the ecosystem. Is the plan to lock down programmer’s capabilities, knowledge and tools?
I’m involved in the TAP program for Windows 10 and have voiced concerns in the same category with regard to installation and deployment of Universal Apps. Security is not a reasonable excuse. Some of us love to program and actually
control their PCs. We are not planning to sell everything we write on the Windows Store. What happened to programming something cool for your home network or just for friends? We need, and used to have, Microsoft’s support in doing
this sort of thing. Documentation and tools are more important now than ever. I’m saddened to see the direction things are heading…
If there is a sane reason I’m being badgered to ‘log in’ to read .NET documentation every hour, please share. If not, please consider lobbying to get things back on track.
