3 ipods and every song wants to go to one ipod and i wanna delete em because they go to the other 2 ipods

2 children with an ipod each and one for mom. the problem is when mom hooks hers up to sync, she gets all the kids songs that she don't want on her ipod, have set up to do manual sync and tried to set up all of us our own user accounts on the computer and our own emails in itunes. have no luck with itunes support, everything they say to try does not work. i have tried to delete files but they still on my ipod, please help, p.s i don't wanna get rid of the songs on their ipod though.

- If you go to Settingds>Store is automatic downloads turned on? If it is on then turn it off.
- Also in the Music pane for the iPod in iTunes you need check the box that saysSelected playlists, artists, albums and genres

I ran into the same problem, I think that, If you tab on a song that is on your IPOD, and the song data is grayed-out, I think it means that the song is probably twice on your IPOD and that the iTunes directory can not edit THAT song data for two (or more) files @once. Check if this is the case, sinceI have the same problem,am looking for a way to have One and the same song in more playlists but only keep the song once on the IPOD.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

I was trying to move several albums onto a USB drive and it stated all other files exist at this location. They are pictures taken at different times and have the same number I guess.

In iPhoto albums may contain photos with the same file name - iPhoto handles that just fine
If you are exporting them to move somewhere else use the sequential file name feature of export to give each file a unique name

On the device that you don't want the apps to be downloaded on, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads. Once you turn that off, your problem will be fixed.

what you're missing to export multiple files is the batch export command available in the file menu or by control clicking on the items in the browser. You can export multiple sequences/clips at full resolution with this.

Correct. That box is typically checked by default. There are other default settings you could change that would not result in a full-quality version, but what I meant was hitting that option from the pull-down menu, then changing nothing and hitting ok.

You need to get control of your Apple ID. Change the password.

If you can't change the password because this person ahs changed the password to something that you don't know then contact the Account Security Team to get control of your account.

I have the same issue witha slight variation. The app icons that are grayed out and cannot be deleted are DUPLICATES of other apps that I already have. For instance I now have 2 Redbox apps - one works normally, the other cannot be opened or deleted.
