4.0EA1 - Connection Color Not Resetting
In SQL Developer 4.0 EA 1, when you use a connection with a "Connection Color" set in the connection properties, that connection's SQL Worksheet border properly shows the right color. But, when you switch that same worksheet to a different connection (using the connection dropdown box in the top, right-hand corner of the worksheet), if that other connection has never had its "Connection Color" property set, the worksheet's border color stays the same as the previous connection, rather than resetting back to the default non-descript gray for the new connection.
To reproduce:
Create a connection, but don't specify the Connection Color (or use an existing connection that doesn't have the Connection Color set).
Create another connection, but do specify the Connection Color (or use an existing connection that does have the Connection Color set).
Open a worksheet under the connection that has a color specified.
Switch the worksheet to the other connection, that doesn't have a color specified.
You'll see that the worksheet's border color stays the same, which is wrong.
Please look into this.
Similar issue is when you have two different connections open with two different colors and you open a table the color shows correct. If you go open a table with the same name under a different connection the color does not reset until you click a different tab and then click back on the table.
1. Opne connection 1 with red border.
2. Open connection 2 with green border.
3. Open table A under connection 1. Border shows red.
4. Go to the connections window and double click the same table under connection 2. New table will appear but with red border.
5. Click any other tab in the main window and back to the connection 2 table tab and the color will change correctly.
It appears it is not resetting the color after you open the new table unless you change focus and the change back. I assume this is the same for any other object.

Bought a new Ipod touch and the WiFi does not connect. Tried Reset and total Restore, does not connect to Router on DHCP, tried Static IP, Subnet, Router and DNS manually and still can not get it to connect even though it registers as connected. Using Airport for router, latest firmware, no problems with Iphone 4 or Macbook Pro or any other internet devices. After total Restore (factory settings) tried again, showed connected to router, but does not display "check" next to router but little rotating icon even though the wifi range signal shows connected at full strength and it says it is connected. Just can't seem to get it to generate an IP. Any solutions other than turning it on and off again? Not a Merry Christmas morning.
Ok, so, a couple of things: Denisefromwaleska and I have the exact same size/type/color iPod. Now wishing I'd bought the black one maybe...
Second, Airport is an Express and I have a second one that I carry with me when I travel. Tried to connect my Airport Express to the internet and could not although the iPod did recognize the router and tried to connect to the internet for some time, unlike my previous problem. Updated firmware on my travel router, still could not connect to the internet. Going to try to set up a manual Static IP on the travel router here in a few and conect through it although I predict the problem will persist. Back on the Christmas Present Airport Express router, it is back in play and working fine for all devices save the iPod.
Thanks again for all your help, hopefully I can get a solution in place soon, -

My 3G connection is not working after updating to iOS 6.1. I have tried all possible solutions like resetting the network , restarting iPad , ...
The same story. No 3G after updating to 6.1. Told my daughter temporarily not to do an update on her iPad with 6.01. We've exchanged SIMs. I inserted her SIM in my iPad - 3G appeared immediately. And my SIM in her iPad with ios 6.01 also WORKS FINE. We use the same provider - Megafon Moscow. After attempting to revert SIMs to original configuration, 3G disappeared on my iPad again. Don't know what's going on with SIM during the update to 6.1

ODBC connection to Oracle 7 will not reset
We are using Oracle JDBC drivers for all but one of our
datasources which is an old Oracle 7 database. The ODBC connection
to this database will not reset when the database is bounced or the
database server is rebooted. We have to restart the ODBC service to
reset the connection. Is there another way to do this automatically
or perhaps another driver out there we can use? We are running
ColdFusion MX 6.1 Enterprise.Wow, I can't believe that you are still using Oracle 7. In
fact, unless you are on 7.3.4 you aren’t even Y2K compliant.
Of course, I'm not even sure if there is an upgrade path from 7.x
to 10g, but I would consider migrating off of 7 to anything else.
Otherwise, you are going to have more and more compatibility
problems. In fact, you can no longer even get ODBC drivers from
Oracle for versions older than 9i.
Good luck.

Hi ..
Which OS X is installed on your Mac ?
Click the Apple () menu top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac. The version is noted there.
Make sure your Mac OS X software is up to date.
Disconnect the iPad from your Mac.
Open System Preferences > Software Update > Check Now
If any updates are required, make sure to restart your Mac after the updates are installed then connect your iPad and see if iTunes recognizes it under Devices. -

Itunes can not complete request, the network connection has been reset

Apple's servers are probably very busy. You may want to wait for a little while before trying again.

Nano 5th Gen will NOT reset or connect to iTunes
I've tried the usual toggling of the hold button followed by the menu/select button on this Nano, which has worked on other models that I own. This Nano will not reset and isn't recognized when plugged into iTunes. Just the black screen no matter what. Out of warranty, so any suggestions other than taking to Apple would be greatly appreciated!
If none of the suggestions mentioned in the iPod Nano 5th Gen. User Manual and on the iTunes & iPod Hints & Tips website, you should take the iPod Nano to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you. If you have Apple Care, take advantage of it by calling them.

After updating my Iphone 4s to os 7.1.1 from 7.1 over the air, my phone went into recovery mode. Yet when I try to restore it with Itunes on my windows 7 laptop it says the network connection has been reset. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network is active, or try again later. My phone has the itunes logo and charger symbol on it, as well as an arrow pointing at the Itunes logo. After holding the sleep button down or even doing the hard reset the same screen comes up on my phone regardless of whether it is plugged in or not to my computer. I have turned my computer off and on again. It is plugged in and charging as it's battery life is very short. I also reset my modem and the same error message pops up. The only option on my computer when my phone is plugged in is to restore it. My firewall also allows Itunes through it. I have literally tried everything I know being someone who knows very little about technology. I also do not want to hear about how the update worked for other people. My phone has been in recovery mode for 5 hours at least now so it will just make me more frustrated if a bunch of people post about how the update worked for them.
Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

how can i get it out of recovery mode?
Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer
iTunes free download from www.itunes.com/download
Then See Here > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
Some users have reported as many as 8 or 9 attempts were necessary before success.
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...
Restore from Backup > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
If the issue persists...
Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first... -

Network connection could not be established
I have been trying to update my iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4 to version 5.1 but I keep receiving the error that network connection could not be established. I have tried running diagnosis and taking down my firewall. I also used all the step by step procedures on the web site. Nothing will work. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
