404 Error when I try to edit page in ICE

I use a browser, go to my page, press Cmd+E, up pops the
login and password, done, then bang! the page doesn't display, just
the host's generic 404 error.

The issue is that your web host either does not have the HTTP
HEAD request enabled or functioning properly on the server, or you
may have to disable custom 404 page redirection either in your web
host administration panel or via .htaccess file.

The behavior with your server is similar to this thread:

The difference being that the HEAD response from your server
is 500 Internal Server Error. InContext editing uses HEAD HTTP
requests to test for the existence of the draft page. If no page
exists, InContext Editing should receive a 404 Not Found response
from your server. Your server is responding with a 500 Internal
Server error.
Your server is responding with a 500 Internal Server error
when you navigate to any page that 'doesn't exist' on your site.
For example, if you simply go to
http://www.thewildinstitute.com/example.html,
you'll also receive the 500 Internal Server error.
It could be that the HEAD HTTP request method is disabled, or
the HEAD HTTP request method is enabled on your server and simply
not functioning properly. In either case, please contact your
hosting provider to fix this configuration problem.

404 error when I try to access OpenDocument on BO XI 3.1

I'm using (HowToViewWebiReports) sample provided by ([SAP Business Intelligence Developer SDK Library|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/sdklibrary])
In few words, it lists reports names from my repository and then it builds a URL to view that report using OpenDocument .NET implementation
here is an example of what it gives:

which leads to 404 error page!
Why?
How can I verify that OpenDocument (.NET) is installed properly ? 'cause when I logged in to my BO server I didn't find (OpenDocument) web application listed in IIS manager !? does that mean it is not installed? !
if yes, then how can I install it ?

It looks to me that you are using TOmcat. Try the following opendocument URL

Muse CC 2014 Crashing when I try to edit Page Metadata / HTML section

Muse CC 2014 is crashing consistently when trying to edit Page Properties / Metadata / HTML. It appears that if I try to do Copy Paste of some text into this box, without already having a blinking cursor in the box, that Muse crashes with the error displayed in the attached image. This has happened several times now. I am running using Creative Cloud in OS-X 10.9.3. To get here I right-click on the page, page properties.., click on Metadata, click in the HTML... box and CMD-V to paste. I have pasted the text several times successfully.

This is a know regression issue in RoboHelp 11.0.3. The only workaround for now is to open the SLP files with notepad or another editor.

Gettinig 404 error when I try to add an embedded link in Rich Text area

Hello everyone,
I am using 9.0.4.1 and I am trying to enter a number of URLs into a rich text field. I highlight the text I want to be the link, then click the link button and enter the url. If I try to enter more than 3 (or 4, or 5, the number varies) links, when I click the Finish button, I get directed to 404 - file not found page. The URL of this page is server/pls/portal/PORTAL.wwv_edit_tab.editItem.
Do any of you have any clue as to what is going on here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the advice. We ended up logging a TAR regarding this, and after working with support, we came to the conclusion that an upgrade we performed last week was causing the problem and that we needed to install patch #4015165. We installed the patch, and now the problem appears to have disappeared.

I keep getting an internal server error when I try to load pages in live preview in edge code...

I keep getting this message every time I try to laod a page using live preview in Edge Code with Google chrome...

I'm using google chrome Version 33.0.1750.152. I'm running mac osx 10.9.2. I've installed Apache.

I had this working flawlessly with an earlier version of a website I was working on. I haven't changed any settings, the only thing that has changed is that I'm working with a new sub folder in the root directory. Every time I try to load the page, I get that error message. Receive 404 error when running new application

I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.
I am encountering a 404 error when I try running the "Portal" project of a brand new WebCenter Portal Framework application. Previously I was able to run right after the project was created, and a college of mine is able to run right after the new application wizard has compelted, following the same steps that I do. I do not recieve any errors in the weblogic console window however and am at a loss for what is going on. I am able to run applications that I previously had created, but new ones fail. As far as I am aware, no configuration has changed either.
The steps I am taking:
-Create new application
-Name and set default package
-Set the Applicaiton Template to "WebCenter Portal - Framework Application"
-hit next
-Leave on defaults for project 1 name. hit next
-Leave on defaults for Project 1 Java Settings. hit next
-Ensure "Configure the application with standard Portal features" is checked on Project1 WebCenter settings. hit next
-Leave on defaults for Project 2 name. Hit finish
-Right click on the "Portal" project. Select Run
-When the browser window opens, I receive the 404 error instead of the default home page with the autogenerated template.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on, or any ideas of what I can try to fix the issue?

Another college of mine recommended checking for stalled deployments on the integrated weblogic server and after removing 4 deployments that were never actually undeployed (despite JDeveloper claiming that they were) the 404 error went away and things started working again.

Clicked on Download in the upper right corner, re-accepted the whatever-they-wanted-me-to-accept and then the OSX download suddenly worked. Give it a spin and see if a circuit like that works for you.

404 Errors When Accessing My Themes

Kuler is returning a 404 error when I try to access my themes on any browser. This was reported in 2013 and in Oct. 2013 Adobe said they were aware and working to fix it. What's going on with fix? Thank you.

It looks like your theme is marked as "private"--which means the link will not work. If you mark the theme as "public" then you can share the link without seeing a 404. Click on the "Private" link to change the theme from private to public.

I sounds like you have the first generation (1G) iPod Touch with an iOS earlier than 2.0, Yu can identify your ipod here:

To everyone that is having this problem:
I just ended a 2 hour session with Apple Tech Support. We had to take it to a level 2 support person, but finally got it running. Here's what she had me do. Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall ALL Apple products on the Computer. This inccluded Apple Mobile Device Itunes, Bonjour and Quicktime. I doubt if we would have had to but she had me download a fresh copy of iTunessetup.exe and run it. iTunes came up and ran on version 11.1.4. Then I reinstalled Quicktime.
It is my personal opinion that there is a flaw in version 11.1.4. You shouldn't have to go through all of these hoops just to update a single application that was working fine proir to the update attempt.
