500 Internal Server Error in Identity Management in Portal

Hi all,
We have just upgraded our portal server to SP13 (2004s).
Post upgrade, I am getting an error in Identity Management.
When I search for a user, and try viewing his/her details, I get the following error.
500 Internal Server Error
Failed to process request. Please contact your system administrator.
The funny thing is, it works fine for some users and throws an error for some others.
Can anyone suggest what could be done to resolve this?

the error may due to duplicate entries of users.
go to logfile and check the users.

I'm getting "Error 500--Internal Server Error" while invoking EM of wls server ie http://<host>:7001/em/ It used to work fine before. Restored config.xml from domain_bak, but still error persists. I can see following error in AdminServer logs while invoking above URL:

HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error from Discoverer Viewer to Portal

HI,
I created a tab with a list of workbooks created with Discoverer Viewer and published with Discoverer Portliest Provider (List of Database Workbooks). Another tab contains four Discoverer Worksheets created with the same account. Everything works well but if i click on a report in list and open Discoverer Viewer, when i return to portal and go to tab containing worksheets i see message "HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error" and i'm not able to do anything. I only can close my browser and i must reconnect to portal!
Can you help me?
My portal version is cg (9.0.4), i'm using Windows 2000 ESP and Internet Explorer 6.
I tried with Olin and Mazola but result did not change.
I used a public connection bud i tried a private connection too. Nothing happened.

The application.log file, under the OC4J which running your Discoverer provider, should give you some hints about the problem you're facing.

UWL 500 Internal Server Error

We are facing UWL application "500 Internal Server Error" in external facing .com portal. The same application is working without any issue in internal .net URL.
Below is the error message.
The Web Dynpro application 'UWL' has expired. Restart the application. Choose 'Refresh' in the iView tray or use the browser 'Refresh' button to restart the iView
Landscape:
SAP EP 7.01, F5 Loadbalancer and Siteminder Proxy Server (We are not using SAP Web Dispatcher).
During this error in external .com URL, I looked into HTTP watch log and found cookie is sent to one J2EE server and Received from another J2EE server. Below is the log.

In the internal .net URL, we are not seeing the above format. It is just sent cookie.

We also found in the F5 loadbalancer log Siteminder proxy server is changing the name "cookie" from lowercase to uppercase "COOKIE". Not sure where the issue is.

Hi Padmanaban,
You have already analyzed the issue, the reason is that the request is not going to the server it should go. A jsession is opened on the first request and on the second request, when the same server should be reached, it is not, but it awaits the living session (but this is living on another node).
At least it seems that F5 balances all right, at least the same server is addressed (but there, the wrong node). The change of the "cookie" entry might very well be the root cause for this.
So, you have to fix this... As it is no SAP product, I cannot give you details about how to perform this...

did you put your text in a blender before sending it?
I understood everything works fine except the miscellaneous menu item in the configuration tab of ERM?
Have you already tried to clear all browser cache, close all browsers and try it again?

500 internal server error in EPMA and Calc manager in 11.1.2.1

We are getting the below errors in EPMA log and Calc Manager log and unable to determine the cause of it. It seems like this particular issue was cause while deploying a calc manager rule for an HFM app. The issue resolved itself and the errors went away after about an hour. We have gotten the below error frequently in the last 3 weeks or so after having more activity lately in the environment. Any help is greatly appreciated.

workflow in SP Designer 2013, saved it, and published it without any errors. However, when I go back to the list in my portal and try to run the workflow, I get the "Sorry, something went wrong" page, and the logs say this:

Go to the server running Workflow Manager and open the Event Viewer; Applications and Services Logs; Microsoft-Workflow; Operational; and look for the underlying error. In our case, the CU for Workflow Manager did something to the SQL permissions and
we ended up using the workaraound described here:

EBS 12.1.3 - 500 Internal Server Error - after using FNDCPASS to change SYSADMIN password

Hello Guys,
We are running ebs 12.1.3 on OEL6. Upon logon today I was a prompt to chage the sysadmin's password. I ended using FNDCPASS for a successful change:
FNDCPASS apps/apps 0 Y system/xxxxx USER SYSADMIN xxxxx
Since then I have been unable to connect into the apps with its URL - I am getting
"500 Internal Server Error" Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.

We've collected the HTTP traffic but it shows the same 500 internal error and class cast exception. The deployed access gate also shows the same error when in debug mode.

If its Java only error then there wont be any dump in ST22.
Strange issue for you, in general if we get 500 error, there should be details of it in the same page.
You said this issue is occuring for only one user, is it getting replicated every time?
You are also seeing the same error when u login as that particular user?
Do one thing, assign him the Content Admin role and then do the preview of this iView form content admin and see if ur still seeing this error.

APEX 3.2 Installation - 500 Internal Server Error

I am trying to get APEX 3.2 working on a 10.2.0.5 database, using Embedded PL/SQL Gateway. I have followed the steps from here.
The installation is successful (no errors in install log). However, when I try to access the APEX admin page (http://host:port/apex/apex_admin) for the first time after installation, I get "500 Internal Server Error".
Can somebody help me to figure out what is the issue ?

A revised version of the APEX Listener has been applied to the apex.oracle.com instance, containing a fix for bug 16210026. So you should now be able to carry out your RESTful Services tests successfully. Please note that the updated version of the APEX Listener release, release 2.0.1, is not yet available for download from OTN but hopefully should be soon. My content server is running on a Microsoft Cluster Environment.
I tried to follow the steps in the SAP note 301352.
Please help me in registering the LiveCache ODBC driver.
When i excute the the odbcreg.exe file i get the foll,
E:\sapdb\programs\pgm>odbcreg.exe

hi Vineeth Damodar
do it in command prompt.
change the drive letter ...where u install the sapdb.
D:\odbcreg LiveCache -i -p d:\sapdb\programs\pgm
it will prompt that LIvecache is registred. Restart the server.
then check in control panel...
The LiveCache ODBC driver should then be registered in the Control Panel -> ODBC Drivers -> Driver tab

I have EBS installed on OEL. All the database service and Application tier services are Up. but when I am trying to connect to it it giving me error

AjayBefore you run AutoConfig, please compile the JSP files as per the doc referenced above and see if this helps (stop the application services, compile the JSP pages, then start the application services).
You can run AutoConfig while the application services are up, but you need to restart after AutoConfig is done.
