5610 v4.81 does not synchronise data anymore (Mac)
Hi,
I use the Novamedia isync Plugin to sync my addresses (Mac 10.4.11). It worked a few times but now it does not work anymore since I have the 5610 firmware v4.81 and stops at about 20%. I reset my phone so that the bluetooth pairing was working again but the Bluetooth sync problem remains.
I also tried the MSync service of my provider (o2 germany) but had similar problems: always an error message from my phone.
Has anybody got the same problem? Is there a solution? Is the firmware the problem?
The last Nokia Firmware update (v6something) did not help. But I managed to get my Apple Address Book contacts on my 5610. It costs money and time and you need to have an o2 contract (o2 Germany in my case)!

Step 3: Buy and use the »Entourage Contact CSV Exporter«
Step 4: Do some minor changes in the created CSV File so that it exactly fits the o2 Communication Center requirements.
Step 5: Upload the CSV file onto the o2 Communication Center
Step 6: Synch your mobile with the o2 Communication Center (costs money)

unfortunately you loose all special charaters and all pre- and surnames will be merged.

Time Machine does not back up anymore

My Time Machine keeps on 'calculating' and does not back up anymore. It seems that the Time Capsule is full, but until recent it always deleted the oldest backups automatically (with a message).

It looks like the TC is so full that Time Machine can't get started far enough to delete some old backups.
If there is other data there, copy something elsewhere and delete it, at least temporarily. It doesn't have to be very large; 20 MB or so should be enough.
If not, try to delete an old backup manually per #12 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).
You might want to connect via Ethernet cable if possible; especially if Time Machine is trying to do a large backup, it will have to delete a lot of old ones. It will be 2-3 times faster than via WIFI.

Mixing Time Machine backups and other data on a Time Capsule can be a problem. Once you get this sorted out, see #Q3 in Using Time Machine with a Time Capsule (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of the +Time Capsule+ forum).

My ipod does not alert me anymore with sound or a number for amount of messages. When I press mail, the emails then come up with the alert sound. Facebook alerts work ok.

Hi... I would like to purchase a Tablet Sony Xperia Z 2 10.1 (the last one of the Z series) and I was told that Adobe does not support Sony anymore.... I need to be able to open and read Adobe PDF files and I would like to know if this tablet can still use Flash Player...

I tried wat you asked to, but no spool was generated for the job. In SM37 it says that the Job (RMCB0300) is completed, but theres no spool list entry.
Does it mean i cant run MC.9 in background.

CFGRID does not show data (CF9.0)
Under development server, CFGRID show data , all is fine , correct. (CF9.0 version dev)
Under production server , CFGRID does not show data, only a grey line (like a HR).
How to debug this ?

Is there any browser script level difference between your both CF server?
Are you getting any relevant logging error in your CF server application.log & exception.log?
Run a very simple cfgrid running app to check, either getting issue with that too or not. -

from the information you provided i can't tell if it is a hardware problem or a software problem. I do have an idea though, try to press your home button and lock button at the same time.

I am using the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 to detect the rotation angle of a template image. However, it shows the error: "Error 1074395241: The template descriptor does not contain data required for rotation-invariant matching." What is the problem exactly? How to solve this? The details are explained below.
My project is a little bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match Pattern 4 is shown below:
The source image is a series of frames of images read from an AVI video (I used a for loop to process the images frame by frame). The template image is a selected region of the first frame. So it means, the user selected the object of ineterst in the first frame of the video, and in each of the following frames, we need to find the matched object of interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the block diagram shown above, it does not have any error. However, it shows the rotation angle as zero no matter what it "really" is. Therefore, I changed the block diagram by adding the parameters, shown below:
But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error that I have indicated in the subject line.
If you need more details about my project to identify the problem, please let me know.

Backlight does not turn on anymore Satellite M70-147

The backlight of my M-series M70-147 does not turn on anymore.
I first noticed this when awakening the laptop from standby or hibernation mode.
At first I thought the screen was not working anymore, but when I looked closely I could still make out the icons on the desktop vaguely. So at first I rebooted the laptop and then most of the times the backlight would turn on and stay on.
But now it does not do that anymore, not even when I close the screen (to force standby mode) and then open it again, the backlight won't turn on.
I also looked at other forums and topics what the cause might be, a broken backlight or a faulty power inverter.
So can anybody with the symptons described tell me what the cause might be?
I'm pretty sure nothing is wrong with the graphics card because when I hooked on my laptop to my dads LCD monitor it just displayed the desktop of my laptop on the LCD monitor. Also the first time I did this after pressing Fn-F5 a few times the screen of my laptop would come on some times. But now it does not do that anymore.
So can anybody with the symptons described tell me what the cause might be?

For me it looks like a faulty FL inverter.
The FL inverter is a small part behind the display frame and it controls the backlight.
Usually the external display should work properly because the FL inverter affects the internal display only...
However, the issue can be solved only by replacement of this part.
I recommend contacting the Toshiba ASP in your country to get this part replaced -
AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file does not match data in the common datab...
We are receiving the following error everytime we logon our pc for the first time: Add-On Outlook_Integration: This Add-on cannot be upgraded. AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file does not match data in the common database for this add-on. See SAP Note 1323680 for more information.
A few months ago, SBO Server was moved from one server to a new virtual server, but we had no problems with the addons. The other day, we upgraded from SBO 2007 to 8.8 and now we are having problems with the Outlook Integration.
I have followed the directions in the message noted above, and did find the AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo file in some odd places, with a reference to the old server. I cleaned this up, on the server and the client and I can get it running...however, after the user shuts down the pc and logs back in the next day, the problem is back.
In the process of cleaning this up (un-registering the addon and removing the addon references in the local .sbo file) I noticed at times that we would still receive this error, when there really shouldn't be an reference to it.

Whatever version addon of OI you installed just uninstall it and Install it freshly from 8.8 setup package......

Web.show_document does not open browser anymore
We upgraded our production database over the weekend from 10g to 11g. When it was still 10g, our Forms application used to open a PDF embedded in IE. After moving to 11g, it does not open IE anymore and shows no error messages. Clicking the button with the web.show_document command does nothing. Our test database is also 11g but does not have this problem. What could have gotten wrong?
I can't explain why it seems to started failing all of a sudden. We often hear comments like this only to later discover that either someone else made changes of which you are unaware or possbily a software update occurred automatically. For example, the JRE version may have been auto-updated.
As for recoding in an alternative fashion, it will be difficult for me to say specifically because I don't know the app nor do I know your needs. The biggest, and it isn't all that big, deal will be to identify from where the pdf being opened comes from. In other words, does it already exist on the client machine or is it downloaded to the client from the/a server? Also important to know is whether or not the file name is known or not.
So, if you want to change the code, first figure out how you want the application to complete the task. Here are my suggestions:
Suggestion 1.
<blockquote>If the file (pdf in your case) originally resides on a remote server, then leave it there. The document can be opened using a direct url to the file on the remote server. For example:

I can't seem to find a way to update the date/time of a master file. There is a format issue but I can't seem to figure out how to correct it.
Aperture was not able to adjust the date and time of the master file “2008-06-22 at 14-41-14.jpg” because it has a format that does not permit date modification.Can you post an ipconfig /all from the server and the DC?

PMI Problem (End-to-End Monitor does not show data)

As I know that XML Messages Alerts T-code: SXMB_NOMI shows all alerts including errors as well I put date Range: 01-01-2008 to 01-08-2008 and filters for "Errors" system does show more then 300 errors
But problem in RWB - End-to-End Monitoring, when I click on display and date range 01-01-2008 to 01-08-2008 its give me graphical overview in right of window
and shows summary:
Errors: 0 Average
Open 904 Maximum
Successfully Completed 0 Minimum
Overall: 904
I thing End-to-End Monitor doesn't get data from PMI...
why does't show any errors, which is shows in SXMB_MONI
Please tell me how to resolve that problem

A destination pointing to the Integration Server is created on the J2EE engine to collect the data for the end-to-end monitoring. If this destination is incorrect or if there are several clients in the system of the integration server, the data may be sent to the incorrect client.
This might be a reason so you can implement the correction of the destination in a manual way as follows:
Open the J2EE visual administrator.
Select the Destination service.
Select the HTTP "pmistore" destination.
Enter the URL for the ICF service spi_gate of the Integration Server in the following form "http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/spi_gate?sap-client=<xxx>", where 'host' denotes the host of the integration server, 'port' denotes the HTTP port, and xxx is the client of the Integration Server.

Server Socket does not read data input stream
Hi all,
I am very newbie to Java Network programming with sockets and multi-threading.
But I am obliged to develop a chat system written in Applets which can be placed on the website and used by visitors who come to my website.
In order to understand this, I have tested a basic web chat program I downloaded from the Internet which use sockets and multi-threadings. The program work fine, no bugs at all at both compilation and run time. I noticed that all three streams for Client side (i.e. first one is input stream used receiving data from User; the second one is socket input stream used for receiving data from Server socket, and the third is socket output stream used for writing data to server socket) were established. And the same, two socket streams (input & output) for Server side were also connected when running program giving right port number and IP address of the server.
The problem is both server and client sockets do not read data using the following stream classes:
1. DataStreamInput: I use input.readUTF() method
2. or BufferedReader: I use input.readLine() method
The example of the codes are below:

Yes. The readLine() method hangs! After the test, the execuation of the program is stopped at the line of readLine() method; it does not pass it?
There is no problem with writing to Server socket. After the test, the program pass through flush() method. Here is the code for writing to sever socket within ChatClient (client side socket) class:

Viewset does not have data passed from GenIL

We have a custom component in which data is not getting passed from a ViewSet to the Overview page. The details of the issue are given below:
There is a detail view zsoEF and a table view zsoChild. These 2 views are housed in a viewset zsoVS. This view set has an event Eh_OnBack which requires the data from views zsoEF and zsoChild to be passed to overview view zsoOV.
We recently upgraded to CRM 7.0. After the upgrade, the values entered on the views zsoEF and zsoChild are processed in the ZGenIL. The context nodes and the custom controllers are filled correctly with the screen values and some auto added data based on validations..
When we click on the Back button, then Eh_OnBack does not have data in the Custom Controller. I am not able to pin point the reason for this missing data in the Back event. From the way i understand, when we do data binding in the views, we don't have to do that in ViewSet. Has there been any change in this design in CRM 7.0?
I would like to know if there is any workaround for this issue.

Did you try to bind the context nodes with the component controller. Can give it a try whether it resolves the problem. Any way it is difficult to say anything as we don't have an idea what exactly you did in the component. Lets take it forward. In the mean time have a look in the below link.
