5800XM abc Mobile dictionary cannot show Japanese ...

Hi,
My 5800XM is a Hong Kong version with firmware v21.0.101.  I have downloaded the Chinese (Traditional, Hong Kong)
and Japanese language pack for the new abc Mobile dictionary.
The problem is that, after choosing a word in the first page, Japanese characters cannot be displayed in the second page.  However, I can input Japanese characters in the first page and the words can be displayed correctly.
But there's no such problem when displaying Chinese characters.
Any ideas?  Many thanks.
Cheers,
Daniel

That's why I forced up the capacity storage on my iPhone 4S (16 GB) because there is not enough available storage to download when I received message "Cannot download" while updating those apps... I just hitting "Update" button too many times to retry update again, instead "Download" button too many times to retry again... FORCE UP TO INCREASE MORE CAPACITY STORAGE!!! Get earn up a free capacity storage from 16 GB to 256 or 512 GB if I want...

    Hi,
    The (e acute) é characters get garbled when they are retrieved from the

    How can we fix to get (e acute) é characters properly?
    We both tried setting "setenv NLS_LANG French_France.WE8ISO8859P1" and
    "setenv NLS_LANG French_France.WE8DEC" before loading the table.

    Good to hear then, you have not yet got a SR on your hands.
    One of the reasons I hate NLS issues is that me first one had to do with an client browser/ application server and database setup that involved not equal settings between the app.server and the database. Always, always fully check that the app.server (on all fronts) have the same NLS settings as the database so that you avoid unnecessary conversion between the middle tier and the database tier. "On all fronts" means, as I once painfully discovered, possible NLS settings in a registry, app.server configuration file, java application in the JVM, etc, etc, etc. Another issue is that JDBC drivers, AFAIK, have issues with "opaque data types" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opaque_data_type) like "XMLTYPE" so, to be sure, I would advice to transport the "XML content" in a data type which is supported much longer like "CLOB". In such cases, NLS conversions shouldn't take place. There are exceptions of course, one I can think of right now is when you move Binary XML content via the binary xml transport method (can't remember right now the proper java classes to use for this) between the client and server to obtain performance gains due to among others less and more efficient data transport across the network and avoiding validation and post parse overhead during the Binary XML content handling in the database.
    Looked it up anyway :-) the following is part of the 11.2 Oracle XDK

  • E66 and Mobile Dictionary

    I have the Mobile Dictionary in the Office folder. Something like a year ago I managed to load it with three languages: English, Finnish and French. Now I tried to change French to Spanish, but this time I didn't succeed.
    If I try to remove French by selecting 'languages' and 'remove language', the program ends without doing anything. (French stays as a language alternative.)
    If I connect to Nokia's web page
      http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/mobile-dictionary
    and download and install Spanish, everything seems to go OK. After the installation Mobile Dictionary immediately goes to a state where it asks 'Remove language' and gives Spanish as the only alternative. If I answer yes, it removes Spanish. If I answer no, then Mobile Dictionary ends immediately. When restarting Mobile Dictionary again goes to the same 'Remove language' state.
    I know I have succeeded changing languages before, but the software version has changed once or twice after that.
    Is there some trick I should try?
    Markus
    PS The icon of Mobile Dictionary has the letters ABC but I notice that the icon on my phone is slightly different from that on the Nokia web page.

    Issue : In sharepoint 2013, I am experiening below error while using filter in the list view due to the number of items in this list exceeds the list view threshold, which is 10000 items. Tasks that cause excessive server load (such as those
    involving all list items) are currently prohibited.
    Error :cannot show the value of the filter.The Field may not be filterable or the number of items returned exceeds the list view threshold enforced by administrator
    Could you please suggest a way to avoid this issue apart from incrementing the list view threshold limit .

    Reorganizing content, or creating more specific views. sharepoint is warning you that the content is structured in such a way that it can cause performance issues, which should be addressed in some way.

  • Mobile albums not showing  up in tab - Photoshop Touch BROKEN

    When i first installed Photoshop Elements 12, any pictures that i added to my mobile album showed up in my tab version of photoshop touch.
    Now although they are going from my PC to my free Revel account, and i can see them in the Revel app on my tab, they are not showing up in my tab version of Phototshop Touch
    How do i get this fixed?
    It's a big selling point of both programs and it's not working!
    PSE 12.1
    Windows 64bit
    Photoshop Touch on Galaxy 10.1

    Well,
    I've upgraded to Photoshop Elements 13 and it still doesn't work.
    How do i get in touch with an actual Adobe person to ask them how to get my mobile albums to show up on my mobile devices?

  • I cannot download itunes- it says service mobile device cannot start- what do I do?

    I am unable to download the newest version of iTunes. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall. Now it says that my Mobile Device cannot start- check to see if I have sufficent privlidges to access. What do I do? I cannot get itues to work on any of my computers.

    I've run into several machines lately having this issue and the
    "Runtime error Program: C:\Program Files\itunes\itunes.exe R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime  library incorrectly. Please contact the applications support team for more information"
    error.  Pretty much the troubleshooting steps everyone gives are correct, but I think they're missing some details.
    Also these steps fix the apple mobile device service not starting during the itunes install.
    From my recent experience do the following to resolve the issues.
    1. Uninstall Itunes, Apple Mobil support, Bonjour, Apple Software updater.
    2. In c:\program files and c:\program files(x86) make sure that all apple, itunes, and ipod related directories are deleted.
    3. In c:\program files\common files and c:\program files(x86)\common files make sure all apple directories are gone.
    Restart the computer and reinstall itunes.
    Good luck!

  • A reinstall of itunes is saying apple mobile device cannot start

    I tried to update itunes on my PC and it stopped installing, giving me a message of "mobile device" cannot start, check to see if you have sufficient privaledges"

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
    Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • I cannot display Japanese correctly.

    OS : RedHat Linux 6.2J
    DB : Oracle 8i for Linux(8.1.5)
    NLS_LANG = JAPANESE_JAPAN.JA16EUC
    Developement Language : JDK 1.2.2, JDBC 2.0 API
    JDBC Driver : Oracle thin Driver - 8.1.6 classes12_01.zip, nls_charset12_01.zip
    I cannot display Japanese correctly.
    I have some problems for displaying Japanese.
    1. Not displayed Hankaku Katakana(8bit Katakana).
    2. Not displayed Japanese when I used the ScrollableResultSet.
    for example,
    Stmt = con.prepareStatement( pcSQL, TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE, CONCUR_READ_ONLY );
    rs = Stmt.executeQuery();
    String strName = rs.getString( "EMP_NAME" );
    txtName.setText( strName );
    ===> the result is displayed in Textfield
    "0x42415454EFBD..."
    When I didn't use the ScrollableResultSet, the result was correct.
    for example,
    Stmt = con.prepareStatement( pcSQL );
    Please help me.
    Thanks.

    I got the same question when using the Scrollable ResultSet. I can not solve it myself till now. and also need help.

    Try to toggle some of the <u>Boolean</u> <b>gfx.font_rendering</b> prefs on the about:config page to disable some features.<br />
    Filter: gfx
    To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
    If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />
    You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.

    When updating to  itune 10.5 I get this error message ,older version of bonjour can not be removed, and older version of apple mobile support cannot be removed, any one know how to fix this.

    1) The older version of Bonjour can not be removed. Contact your technical support group.
    Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
    Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
    If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
    (If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)
