A/R Invoice and Tax Setup

Whenever i am creating a new invoice its throwing error - "The value for the attribute Rate is not available". Although the the rate for tax code VAT 4 or VAT 12 is available and being displayed in the tax code selection box.

which country localization are you using? India? is Excisable tax code or service tax code invovled? did you maintain the rates for these tax codes in Tax Engine?

    If your GL accounts will be determined based on the customer account assignment group and material account assginment group combination then you can enter manually in Billing document (if accounting document is not created), No need to reverse the invoice and delivery.

    My client taken the invoice without calculating the TAX and the same also released to accounts.
    Now he wants to Add the TAX
    You can cancel the previous invoice and create new invoice with taxes.

  • Plant to Plant STO with excise invoice and taxes in one company code

    I have a new business requirement, we want to create only one company code and 12 plants in different states,  each plant will have separate purchasing and sales activity this is ok this can be done with separate excise and series group as ther will not be any issue for purchsing and saling of materisl with exice in each plant , but how we can transfer the material plant to plant  if the plant is in different states we want that the material should be transfer from palnt to plant  with excise invoice only,  as we have the company code common,  how to create the billing document for this, and how to pass the duty from the saling plant and capture the same in the recieving plant. with proper tax entry. Can we do the STO with biiling if the two plants are in single compnay code.

    I am trying to create a Stock Transport Order (STO) with document type UB and item category U. My objective is to transfer material from Plant (supplying plant) 100 to Plant (receiving plant) 1100 within one company code (1000) with STO.
    For this purpose I created a raw material 1434 in plant 1000 with sales org 1 view and in that view entered in delivering plant field 1000 as delivery plant. After that I extended material 1434 to plant 1100 without changing anything what I did while creating the material first in Plant 1000 except in organizational level I entered 1100 in the plant field. I entered Sales org 1000 and distribution channel 10 in organization level for both plant while creating and extending the material. In me21n I chose Stock Transport Order with document type UB and item category as U also receiving Plant as 1100. With this when I tried to save the STO the message, I am getting an error,  Cannot determine shipping data for the material 1434? 
    I am doing solely mm function why I need to create Customer master? In this case plant 1100 is the customer right? 
    Solution:
    1. Mat.(1434) should be maintained in both the plants. (1000&1100).
    2. Should have enough stock in supplying plant(1000).
    3. Make its supplying plant as a vendor in vendor master record in receiving plant(1100).
    4. Make it receiving plant as a customer in customization.  
        Create customer (xd01) & and define the shipping data for plants in both the plants.
        Path: spro u2013 img u2013 m.mgmt u2013 purchasing u2013 po u2013 set up STO u2013 define shipping data (1 by1 )
        In Receiving plant (1100)                         In Supplying plant (1000)
        Customer num.  123345 (for ex.)              Customer num.  -

    6. Assign doc. Type is "UB" to u'r plants.(PO)
        Go for new entries 
        Enter supplying plant(1000) & Receiving plant (1100) & doc type (UB).
    7. Create a PO, choose the doc type is `UB' & item cat.'U', Enter supplying plant as a vendor in PO  of the receiving plant(1100).
    8. Provide this num (PO) to SD people, they will do the delivery by using transactional code is VL10B.
    9. Sales people they will provide "out bound delivery num".
    10. Do the GR. In GR the second tab 05 out bound delivery instead of PO mov.type 101.
    11. See the stock over view in the receiving & supplying plants.

    Hello. I am trying to create an Invoice template. Here in Prince Edward Island, Canada the Taxes are Laid out as follows:
    Amount of Sale $100.00
    GST (6%) $6.00
    Sub-Total $106.00
    PST (10%) $10.60
    Total Payable $116.60
    Does anyone know how to set this up?

    If i understood you right,as i see it you have two choices...
    1) to copy layout and make changes on copy,creating new layouts
    2) to insert conditions in the original layout by which you will be able to choose what kind of title or others different changes you will be using in different situations,so it remains one multipurpose layout.

    in my business case I need to value the Off-Invoice conditions and the taxes using different date.
    The standard system use always the Service Renderred Date to value these conditions.
    Do you know if there are any tools (User Exit or BAPI) I can use to manage different pricing dates or if it is possible to force a repricing during the invoice creation?

    There is nothing like an automatic re-pricing. You could change invoices, maybe in batch by a mass update, but later is no trigger, which would select the invoices (only own reports).
    I guess, re-pricing with several different dates will make more trouble than changing the date inside one pricing.
    If you really can't get the conditions out of the document flow, then you have to make own coding - there is definitely no standard functionality for multiple pricing dates.
    Also the usual KOMK-user-exits won't help - it's to early and would be the same for all conditions.
    You can think about two different ways:
    - changing the KOMK-PRSDT in requirements to the desired dates
    - making own condition determination in a condition formula
    Requirements would be better from performance point of view (formulas are called several times during document creation), but using CONDITION_RECORD_READ in a formula would be easier to create.
    Requirements would be less coding, but might run into some troubles in case of caching the KOMK - in newer releases the whole KOMK / KOMP is held in internal tables instead re-building them all the time.
    A condition with a simple access (like MWST - found all the time, take fixed 1, 1 values) will be fast found by standard pricing, then in a condition value formula an own condition determination can be done. A carefully caching has to be implemented - so that several executions of the formula don't lead to several condition determinations  - but also all the different lines don't get mixed up. Just search through some standard formulas, I think in the Brasilian parts (J1...) are similiar things done - you should find the relevant fields for export the result to the standard pricing.

    Do you have two tax codes setup up.  One tax code to post with the invoice and another one which is used for transferring when the invoice payment is made.  Please check that you are using the right tax code setup for the posting with the invoice.

    The Generic Withholding Tax Report has several options for reporting. 
    The report can be run without the Output Group field populated, or it can be run with one of the PH1 to PH5 options as it relates to the reporting forms/requirements

    You have to pass JV for 50 picked up items through J1IS. For this you have to create new subtransaction type type and accordingly maintain the G/L in the tax on goods movement settings for acoount determination node.

    Reason and Prerequisites
    Accidentally some business transaction events (BTE) for the new solution for deferred tax were delivered in an active state in support packages of SAP releases 4.70 and ERP 2004. The solution is available in the SAP-Standard only from release ERP 2005. Also in ERP 2005 the new deferred tax can cause problems in countries for which the solution is not released.
    These BTEs perform strict tests for documents containing tax codes for deferred tax.
    Solution
    If you are using the old deferred tax, i.e. you use report RFUMSV25 to create transfer postings, you can safely deactivate these BTEs.
    Remove the following BTEs:
    00001025  DI-TAX CREATE_DEFTAX_ITEM
    00001030  DI-TAX SET_DEFTAX_ITEM
    00001040  DI-TAX CREATE_DEFTAX_ITEM_REVERS
    00001050  DI-TAX CREATE_DEFTAX_ITEM_MR1M
    In ERP 2005 (ECC 600) the application key is 'FI-TAX' instead of the above mentioned 'DI-TAX'.
    To do this start transaction FIBF
    -> Settings
      -> P/S Modules
        ...of an SAP Application
    Mark the entries from the list above and delete them.
    This deactivates the functionality of 'new deferred tax' for all company codes in all clients on the system. This means that no data is written to table deftax_item at posting time. Report RFUMSV50 can still be started, but it will not process new documents any more.
    If in ERP 2005 problems arise in one country but the new deferred tax is used in another country you must not deactivate the BTEs completely. In this case it is possible to restrict the BTEs to be active only in certain countries using the column 'country' in transaction FIBF.

    The Contract Pricing Procedure should be maintained seperately.
    The General Sales order or Factory sales Pricing Procedure will be maintained seperately
    Order for services will have seperate Pricing procedure.
    The service tax condition type will be the same and the pecentage a will be the same. If you are maintaining the same condition type then the change in % will remain constant for all procedures. But for your customer if you want to maintain seperately then it can differ.

  • AP Invoice import and tax line

    Hello
    I would like to import ap invoice tax lines in v11i
    For suppliers set up with calculation level at line, I managed to create the invoice with tax line and miscelleneous line but when I validate the invoice, a new tax line is created .
    How can I avoid this without modifying the supplier set up ?

    As far as I know there is no fun module to print all this stuff.
    You have to get this data from KONV table by passing the VBRK table KNUMV field.
    Then check for all the Rates and amount KBETR and KWERT fields for the respective condition Types.
    You have to loop the KONV internal table and write all the condition rates and amounts in the script driver program.
