A small networking / bridging issue

Hello everyone,
Here's my setup at my home :
Internet -> (eth0) Computer1 (eth1) -> Linksys (Wireless) ~~ (wlan0) Computer2 (eth0) -> IP Phone
My computer is my HTTP (apache2), DHCP (dnsmasq), Firewall (shorewall), DNS (dnsmasq). Computer 2 is my Freevo Box. I connected the IP Phone on it because it was right in the middle of the apartment and the line was clearer when we were far.
I got many headaches trying to fix this setup. Right now, I must create a new sub network for Computer 2 because wlan0 is in the 192.168.2.x but the dhcp is not working through so the eth0 of Computer2 is 192.168.3.1 and there's another DHCP server and shorewall to share Internet on Computer2.
Is there an easy way I can setup everything to be on the same subnetwork? And that, Comp1 will be accessible by TEL IP.
Thanks and have a nice day

Currently you have 2 routers in your network :
Computer1 routes between eth0(internet)  and eth1 ( computer2)
Computer2 routes between wlan0 (wireless connection with computer1) and eth0 (ip phone).
* sharing internet is also a router function
Effectively you have 3 different subnets :
internet-computer1
computer1 - computer2
computer2 - ip phone
You will need to put a wlan bridge device with an ethernet switch at the location of computer2.
eth0 from computer2 AND the ip phone are then connected to computer1 on the same subnet.
If the linksys device you have now has switch ports, you can also connect your ip phone there.
The linksys WET54GS5 is an example of a wlan bridge with built-in switch ports.

  • Small Network Issue

I have a small network with Time Capsule TC and two Airport Express bases AX.
Everything seems to be working fine, but it makes me crazy to see the Status light of the AXs blinking constantly.
In Airport utility all the base stations show Green Status light, but in the actual AX bases the Status light is blinking yellow, it has wireless Security WAP2.
In other words: what can I do to have AX light solid green?
    Thank you

  • Network Slowness Issues - Tips?

I'm not offended... a bit surprised. You didn't have to add 'after 17 years' I should have more tools........My first suspicion was that overutilization was the 'correct' issue. But when I turned off 'every' computer, I still had the issue. I wasn't sure if there was a better way to track down a bad piece of 'hardware' on the network. I used Spiceworks Network MOnitor as well to check some network traffic as well. That's why I was looking for some advice. My 'experience' isn't all in hardware. I'm not a network hardware professional. Most of my experience is in setup, maintenance, software, management and things like that. I rarely have the opportunity to get more hands on the hardware part, like this. (port mirroring, tracking data, things like that.) Hence the reason I came on here, to ask for some help from people more experienced in...

Here is the issue...I have a T1 line into a Adtran router, into a small, old, Juniper firewall. From there, it goes to 2 network switches.Last week, it was reported that the internet was almost non-existent and everything bogged down. Verizon said it was 'over utilization'... but, if EVERY PC (15 of them), is turned off? There is still an issue. This is a very small network of PC's, and no servers, no domain.I traveled down from NY to OH to help them check it out. I plugged the Juniper router directly into my laptop, and started a ping to Google. Out of 1000 pings, I got 'one' dropped. Seemed to work ok at least, nothing awesome. If I plugged it back into the switches, after about 60 seconds, the pings all started dropping.I picked one switch... same thing.. other switch, same.. un-bridged the switches also, same..
    Walked around looking...

  • Small network redesign help

    Hello,
I work in a small company that has about 75 clients, and about 10 servers, and I have a refurb 4948 that's not setup yet, currently on the live network are asa5510, a sg300, voip system, and an old 2960 that's currently my core sw (the 4948 will replace this) and I'm planning on redesigning our flat network.
We've always had a single collision domain on vlan 1 which I read is not recommended for security, and I was wondering if it's worth the headaches of setting up vlans on this small network (I'm no Cisco veteran, just learned hands on reading forums and guides) So my plan is to finally set up a dmz on the firewall and I'm reading a bit more before I get into that, and put the servers in a vlan on that dmz, I read that the 4948 can do routing so I can probably set inter-vlan on it if needed. Here's a diagram of my planned network, if you guys can give me some guidance on a best way to redesign it I'd totally appreciate it. Thanks in advanced.

Why do you want the servers in a DMZ, are they going to be accessed from the internet ?
I would definitely recommend putting the servers on the 4948 switch has it has much better performance than the 2960. And as you say it can route as well so perhaps it might be an idea to replace the 2960 with the 4948 and then if you do need a DMZ use the 2960 as the DMZ switch.
Ideally you do not want your DMZ switch to have any internal LAN clients on it but that may not be possible for as you may not have enough ports. But you definitely do not want your DMZ switch to be routing, that should be left to the firewall.
In terms of using vlans the answer is it depends. With the number of devices you have it may not be worth doing unless you are experiencing issues at the moment. It is always a good idea to have the servers on a separate vlan because if they are the same vlan a faulty NIC in a client could bring down the servers as well but that said in your setup all the clients would be in the same vlan anyway. And generally people start to consider using vlans when the IP subnet gets to be bigger than a /24 which you are nowhere near.
I presume at the moment you route off the firewall ie. the inside interface of the firewall is the default gateway for the clients and servers ? If you stay with one vlan there is no benefit to routing on the 4948, you may as well just use this as a higher performance switch for the servers/clients.
I can't see a need for vlans here unless you are experiencing performance issues but the 4948 could well sort that out for you.
Perhaps you could clarify the bit about the servers and the DMZ and maybe go a bit more into what you want ?

  • Active Directory Logon / Site Link Bridge Issue

    Dear NC,
i have an issue with users in different Locations, to explain easyest here is a little network diagram:
So, as one can see, i have 4 Locations, one is the Headquarter.
The Target Goal is: Users in Location C must Logon with Domaincredentials from Sub.domain.tld from Location A.
Location HQ, A and B are fully routed, Location C has only a route to Location B.
Every Location has at least one writable DC with GC ans DNS Server installed.
I have the following site links:
    HQ<>A
    HQ<>B
    A<>B
    B<>C
and also a Site Link Bridge with "A<>B" and "B<>C".
Unfortunatly Users cannot logon in Location C with sub.domain.tld Domaincredentials from Location A.
Need a bit help, thx :-)
    -Bernd

    Hi Bernd,
I am sorry that I am a little confused here, would you please clarify what do you mean by “Users in Location C must Logon with Domaincredentials from Sub.domain.tld from Location A”?
From what I understand, you have two domains:
domain.tld and sub.domain.tld, and you want that user accounts in
    sub.domain.tld (location A) can logon from domain.tld (location C), am I right?
If that is your goal, please make sure the following conditions are true:
During the logon process, specify the right domain name which is like
    @sub.domain.tld.
The GC in location C is available to identify the appropriate Domain Controller for authentication process.
There is no network connectivity issues between location A and C, because after GC located a DC in location A, the logon process will take place between location A and C.
In addition, every site should have good network connectivity with at least another site to keep AD replication healthy. If there are critical errors in your HQ site, we should try
    to resolve them.

  • WRT1900AC being used in small network

I've been using the WRT 1900 AC in a wireless configuration to support one laptops wireless internet access.  Now I'd like to add it to a small network consiting of a laptop that is hard wired to network along with 10 other workstations all wired through a Cisco switch to a file server.  Ther file server provides DNS, DHCP and Active Directory services along with access to system files.  I've attached the WRT 1900 AC to the network via the Cisco switch using port 1 for the Ethernet connections.  My problem is on the laptop I connect wirelessly to the WRT1900AC and can access the internet however I can't access the file server and when I can access the file server I can't access the internet.  In my network settings I see two networks.  One for the WRT1900AC that shows internet access and one for the file server that shows no internet access.  I'm pretty sure there's a problem with where the laptop is getting it's IP address assigned from depending on what it can access.  I've tried connecting the router directly to the file server and turning on ICS for that port on the server.  The server can then connect to the internet but the wireless laptop can't.  I haven't really messed with the other workstations but assume I'll have to do the same thing with them after I determine what needs to be done with the laptop.

Active Directory is heavily meshed with it's DNS Server and it's DNS registration.
The Linksys Smart Wifi firmware is designed to DNS proxy www.linksyssmartwifi.com to Linksys Cloud servers for Smart Wifi services like remote access but it also does this for local access to the router's UI.
If you specify your Active Directory DNS server in the DHCP settings to pass to the client devices AFAIK when you look on the client devices their DNS servers will always be 192.168.1.1 instead of your Active Directory DNS Server.
This breaks DNS registration and causes issues with Active Directory services and DNS resolution.
Please remember to Kudo those that help you.

  • Bug in Hyper-V: Network Bridge's ARP proxying broken in certain scenarios

How do I solve this problem?

    Hi,
In that article I read this :
" This is supported on wired physical NICs (by putting the NIC in promiscuous mode),
but not supported on wireless NICs since the wireless channel established by the WiFi NIC and its access point only allows Ethernet packets with the WiFi NIC’s MAC address and nothing else. In other words, Hyper-V couldn’t use WiFi NICs for
an external switch if we continued to use the current virtual switch architecture."
Based on my understanding , the prerequisite of external virtual switch is physical NIC supports promiscuous mode . The blogger's opinion is that wireless NIC do not support promiscuous mode ,so the workaround "mac bridge " arises .
(but "microsoft MAC Bridge" is designed by microsoft to support creating external Vswitch on these wireless NIC which doesn't support promiscuous mode , so I think it is not a bug , it is by design ).
Also we have not yet tested with a wireless NIC which supports promiscuous mode .
"In computer networking, promiscuous mode or promisc mode is a mode for a
wired network interface controller (NIC) or wireless network interface controller
(WNIC) that causes the controller to pass all traffic it receives to the central processing unit (CPU) rather than passing only the frames that the controller is intended to receive. "

  • Network bridge problems linking wwan0 and eth0 [SOLVED]

    Hi There,
I have just got working a 3G modem which appears as device wwan0. I am trying to link this interface to my wired ethernet eth0.
wwan0 seems to work fine with network manager, getting a IP address via dhcp works just fine and I can use the interface.
However, when I disable network manager and try to bring up the bridge with "netcfg up bridge" it times out, failing to get an lease with dhcp.
My /etc/network.d/bridge file contains the following:
    INTERFACE="br0"
    CONNECTION="bridge"
    DESCRIPTION="Bridge wired and wireless connection"
    BRIDGE_INTERFACES="eth0 wwan0"
    IP="dhcp"
    #FWD_DELAY=10
As per the wiki, I have tried using various values for FWD_DELAY (i.e 10 7 5,4,3,2,1,0) but nothing ..
The relevant sections of /etc/rc.conf are:
    NETWORKS=(bridge)
    DAEMONS=( ... net-profiles !networkmanager ...)
It seems that DHCP via networkmanager is the only way the interface gets an IP. I even tried "dhcpd br0" or "dhcpd wwan0" and they both time out.
    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi,
Ok I have this working now, here are the steps I used.
    1. Allowed NetworkManager to setup the 3G Interface wwan0 with DHCP ..
    2. Disabled my eth0 interface from Networkmanager by putting an entry in /etc/Networkmanager/Networkmanager.conf
    3. Manually configured eth0 with a static IP of 192.168.0.1
    4. did the "echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward" thing for IP forwarding
    5. did the following with iptables:
    iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o wwan0 -j MASQUERADE
    rc.d save iptables
    rc.d start iptables
    6. Connected my wireless router "wan" port to eth0 and configured for 192.168.0.2 IP address and DNS servers dished up from the network  ..
( .. looked at the entries in /etc/resolve.conf on the PC I am sharing the internet )
I can then connect to my wireless lan with my other computers..and on to the internet ... yahoo .. :-)
The only issue I have with this setup is getting the 3G interface to connect automatically to the network .. I ticked the box in networkmanager, but it doesn't seem to work
if I reboot the PC or take the usb T stick out and plug back in, I have to manually connect to the network with networkmanager. Does anyone know how to do this automatically ..
[edit] seems this is a known bug ... you can only auto connect when the interface power is set to "on", but stupidly it defaults to "off"
    Thanks,
    B.

  • Creating Network Bridge in Windows 7 on wired port causes cable unplugged

So I created a Microsoft Loopback interface and tried to create a Network Bridge in Windows 7 with the wired Ethernet port on my E7440 laptop.  But once the bridge is created and the interfaces added, the Ethernet port says 'cable unplugged'.  If I take the interface out of the bridge, it sits there for quite a while before it says it is active again.
I'm pretty sure I have been able to do this on other PCs.  Is there something new here or a bug with this model?
    Thanks,
    Greg

    Hi Greg,
I don't know of anything specific to the E7440 that would cause that problem.  I would think any security software, or hardware, would block pings to the loopback address, not report it as cable unplugged.  I just wonder if there is something with the driver that is causing it?  (Since it sounds like without the loopback that the NIC is functioning correctly).
The E7440 comes with Intel AMT for remote maintenance, but I wouldn't think it would block what you're trying to do.  And even if it did, then it still shouldn't give that media unplugged message.
To be honest, these forums aren't the best place to get answers to this sort of question.  We try to do best possible support but this might be an issue where you need to contact Dell's Tech Support and speak to the software agents who are more experienced in advanced software support.
Sorry we couldn't be of more help to you.

  • Network Bridging incredibly slow

Hello, I have a small server running Windows Server 2012 Essentials R2. My problem is the speed of network bridging. The server has two Intel 82574L Gigabit NIC's one of which is connected to my router and the other to my main PC. I have done this to allow
my PC to talk to server over gigabit and the rest of the devices to talk to it over 10/100 or Wireless. If I select the two adapters and then bridge them to allow my PC to talk to the rest of the network transfer speed to and from the server become very slow
(This is the same for all the devices in the house). However if I remove the bridge and instead choose the share internet option on the NIC connected to router my speeds go back to normal. (Just to clarify slow is 200 kilobytes per second and normal is 30
    megabytes per second approximately).
Any help would be much appreciated
    Thanks
    Nathan

    Hi Nathan,
Both of network bridge and ICS are the ways you can choose to connect network segments. network bridge enable all of the computers to communicate with each other, and making them appear to be a single IP subnet. ICS uses DHCP to assign private IP addresses,
and NAT  to allow computers on the private network to connect to the public network through the ICS host.
Based on different network topology, traffic and some other factors, as Dave Patrick said, hardware device will performance better than software device(Windows Server 2012 that is not dedicated to performing network bridge only, but which performs bridge
as one of multiple processes running on the computer). These two methods will have different impact on network performance.
For further confirm this problem, I suggest you to use System Monitor
within Windows, or Network Monitor( down load link:
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=4865) to monitor network performance.

  • NEED HELP TO SET UP SMALL NETWORK - WIRELESS SIGNAL FROM NOVATEL U760 USB

    Hello -
I need help setting up a small network in my new home in Florida, which has no wired broadband capability - not cable, not dsl. My options are satellite (which I'd like to avoid) or wireless broadband via Millenicom (or now Virgin Mobile) using their Novatel U760 USB stick.
Here are the network components - someone please tell me how to set this up:
PC #1 (has wireless card, but I've connected it by ethernet to the router)
PC #2 (no wireless card; connected via ethernet to router)
MACBOOK, 1 1/2 years old (2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 gigs RAM), running OS 10.58, connected wirelessly to router.
AIRPORT EXTREME BASE STATION, Model A1143.
I'm not thrilled about using a wireless 3G signal as my primary one, (sprint network, claims 600 - 1400 kbps speed), but it costs 1/2 to 1/3 of what a slightly faster satellite signal would.
I have not ordered this service yet. Before I do, I'd like a clear understanding that I can, in fact, set up my simple network, which I'd probably do the same as it's now configured with cable broadband - both PC's plug via
ethernet into the Airport Extreme router, the MacBook connects wirelessly - AND,
    my question is this:
Can I plug the wireless card - a Novatel U760 USB-stick device - straight into that USB slot in the Airport Extreme base station and will it automatically recognize that device?
Or, do I have to plug it into the MacBook and somehow share that wireless signal between the 2 PC's (only 1 of which has a wireless card, so I'd have to get a card for PC #2)?
And help anyone can provide will be much appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Em

    from the Airport FAQ #14:
"Question: Can I connect my Soundsticks or other USB speakers to AirPort Express?
Answer: No. The USB port is for connecting a printer, not for other devices."
Im assuming other devices include USB modems.
So, I would say your cheaper route would be to get a second wireless card and just share your internet connection from one of your PC.

  • EA4500 – Smart Wi-Fi interface and Windows Network Map issues

I purchased this Router about 2 weeks ago as a phased upgrade of our Home Network, primarily to enhance media streaming. It has the latest firmware preinstalled from the factory. Prior to the purchase and installation of the EA4500 Router I replaced my old Motorola SurfBoard SB6120 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem with a Motorola SurfBoard SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. My old Linksys E2000 Router worked perfectly with the SB6141, with the exception that the E2000 wasn’t IPv6 enabled, but does have 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet (RJ-45) and Internet ports.
The EA4500 has been installed for about 10 days and seems to have improved local network speeds and I don’t seem to be having any Internet connectivity issues. However, there are some disturbing issues with the EA4500 and the AE3000 I purchased. There are 11 devices connected through the Router; a Dell Desktop (wireless with the AE3000), a Dell Desktop (Ethernet), a Dell Laptop (wireless), 2 Canon Printers (1 Ethernet and 1 Wireless), 2 Western Digital 1TB MyBookLive Network Drives (both Ethernet), a WD TV Live Streaming Media Player (wireless), an Apple TV media player (wireless), an iPad (wireless), and an Android Smartphone (wireless).
Issue 1 – The Linksys Smart Wi-Fi interface appears to be unreliable at times!!! I’ve read about this problem here on the Community involving the EA6500, so I don’t know if this is a Linksys Server issue, as suggested in a few responses, or a bug in the Router firmware, or defective hardware. However, when the interface locks up, it can’t be accessed from a wireless or wired connection. Usually, powering down the Router and then powering it back up and restart will allow it to function again. However, at times before the interface completely locks up it shows either just a white screen or the security screen will show no firewall features enabled. This is a little scary, so I’ll do a complete reset and setup; this is becoming a pain in the rear!!!!! Is there any hope for this being fixed, in this Router, not the next generation??????????
Issue 2 - All of my network devices show up in the Router’s Device List. Except for the Apple devices they also show up, when they are online, in Windows 7 Explorer under Network and when you click on Network they are correctly displayed as Computers, Media Devices, Network Infrastructure, or Storage. However, when you click on “Open Network and Sharing Center” and then click on “See Full Map”; it fails with the response “Windows cannot create the network map. Responses from other devices on the network are delayed or there is an incompatible router on the network”; no device map is shown. When I follow the link for more information, the only thing that stands out is “A device on the network, such as a hub or switch, is not working properly or is not compatible with the Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) protocol, which Windows uses to create the map. To fix this problem, disable the device, turn it off, or remove it from your network”. All of my network devices showed up on the Network Map with the old E2000. This issue is the same on all of my computers, either wired or wireless. Any known solutions for this, or is it as Windows suggests; an incompatible Router????
Thanks in advance for any insight or solutions. With the issues I’m having with the EA4500 and the AE3000; they are both probably going back to Amazon.

thebluemamba_24; Thank you for your suggestion; I finally found time yesterday to perform an extensive evaluation before I return the Router. However, rather than trying to add devices manually, my rationale was if the EA4500 can’t process them correctly, automatically, it needs to be returned anyway, so I added devices normally letting the device an Router handle the process.
In thinking through this issue, all devices on our network are detected and identified by Windows Explorer on Windows 7 computers; except of course the Apple and Android devices (Apple TV, iPad, and Smartphone). So, I wondered if one of those three devices being added to the Router’s device list was somehow causing issues or interfering with Windows 7’s ability to generate a Network Map. Therefore, my approach was to turn off or disable all devices on our network, reset the Router to factory defaults, reestablish the Router to my custom Home Network configuration using a Windows 7 PC that has LAN and Wireless access to the Router, then add one device at a time and check with each addition to see if Windows 7 could still generate a Network Map.
With the Router reset and reestablishment complete; I began the process of adding one device at a time and checking to see if a Network Map was being generated. What I discovered was when a recent addition to the network, a Western Digital WD TV Live Streaming Media Player, was connected (wirelessly), Windows 7 could no longer generate the Network Map and the failure was consistent. The only way to get the Network Map to work again was to remove power from the WD TV Live, although it remained in the EA4500’s Device List; simply turning it off didn’t help. Since I’d originally witnessed the Windows 7 Network Map working with the Linksys E2000 Router that the EA4500 replaced, I decided to test the WD TV Live with that Router. It worked initially, but it failed consistently after the first success. Interestingly, the failure indication was a little different, but nevertheless generation of the Network Map failed.
I’ve tried changing a few settings on the EA4500 as well as the WD TV Live, but nothing helped. There was a recent firmware update to the WD TV Live, so I might try rolling back the firmware to see if it makes a difference.
The Network Map issue might very well be an issue with the WD TV Live, not the Router, but after reading many threads on this Community I have reservations that the problems I’m experiencing with the Smart interface lockup will be fixed. I suspect new emerging replacement products will be the focus and these older products will be abandoned and no more firmware fixes will be forthcoming and I don’t want to spend more money for a new product just to fix old problems and get something that works properly. The Network Map issue is troublesome, but the lockup of the Router’s “Linksys Smart Wi-Fi” interface is a serious matter to me. It appears that once it locks up, the only way to correct it is a power off restart; not practical if you’re traveling and trying to access settings remotely; the selling point for this feature.
Given the problems I’m experiencing with the EA4500 and AE3000, I guess I’ll return them. Too bad, because otherwise the EA4500 seems like it’s a good Router. I’ve been brand loyal since the Linksys WRT54G came out, but after reading this Community and with my personal experience with the EA4500 and AE3000, now I’ll probably give the NETGEAR N900 equivalents a try.

  • The Game Center is "unable to load data due to network connectivity issues or errors".

The Game Center is "unable to load data due to network connectivity issues or errors".
My internet is fine: all other apps that do not rely on the Game Center work, as does my browser and other online functions; additionally, a friend's iPhone connects to his Game Center perfectly while he is sitting next to me.
Closing the Game Center app and then reopening it is ineffective. Opening the options for the Game Center in the settings, logging out of my Apple ID, then logging back in, and then reopening the Game Center is ineffective. Opening the options for the Game Center in the settings, logging out of my Apple ID, then reopening the Game Center app and logging back in from there is ineffective.
This issue has gone on for more than a month, and so the phone has gone through all variations of "turn it off then back on again, refresh the system, etc etc" that are the basic first suggestions for trouble shooting.
One game app, which required a Game Center profile to launch, stopped working entirely, and would return a message saying something like "connect to the Game Center". I eventually deleted it to free up space. Other games which can be linked to the Game Center to connect with friends simply fail to link, returning "Game Center unavailable". This is the aspect that is currently bothering me the most: I cannot play games with friends unless the app can also link to Facebook and connect to friends from there.
When I open the Game Center, I see the following screen. The bubbles float gently, and it seems as if I had the ability to update my "status". However doing so results in a message that has vanished once the app is reopened.
Upon tapping Games, either the bubble from the main screen or the option on the ribbon at the bottom, the following screen appears. Clicking on Challenges shows a message that achievements must be viewed to issue a challenge. Clicking achievements results in a message that games must be connected (and from my friend's phone I know I have several apps that should appear).
Upon tapping friends, it does show me a list of suggested friends pulled from Facebook, but attempting to send a friend request results in the following screen. After accepting the error box, the "send" button for the request is grayed out and unavailable regardless of adding or deleting friends and/or an accompanying message.
In short, the Game Center is completely unresponsive for no discernible reason, and this problem began with no warning and is now long term. Though my iPhone is older (a 4s), my friend's is even older (a regular 4) and works fine.

I am having the very same problem on my iPad running ios 7. All is fine on my iPhone it opens no problem - this is running on ios 8. I wish they would fix it.

  • Small Network Setup Ideas

Looking for some recommendations for those that are more familiar with Linksys products and configuration interface. I would like to setup a small network (3 PC's) and also provide general use wifi utilizing the my businesses DSL connection. Concern - Does Linksys setup allow for me to segment my small network (i.e. 3 pc's) from the general use wifi network. For simplicity purposes I thought I would assign static IP address to my network segment (10.1.x.x range) and want to utilize DHCP for wireless network (different network segment). Also sense this is a shared service, I would like to prioritize my business traffic over the general access. Is this easily accomplished? Regarding the wireless, I only want to provide it to my clients. I suspect I can not broadcast the SSID, but how best to handle this via the Linksys setup? I have been looking at the Linksys Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router Model #: LKS WRT160N. My building has very think concrete walls and I would also like to provide access to an outside patio so I expect that I will likely have to deploy multiple wireless devices to maintain a strong signal. So for those Linksys experts, your advise greatly welcomed. Thanks in advance. TS

you can use WAP4400N for getting good signals from wireless router .... Also you can go for WPC600N (Dual Band Adapter) for good connectivity ....
