Abaon with loss

hi,
same question as another post but this is losses.
from abaon i have this posting. it means the resale value is 500 and this amount i enter in manual value field in abaon.
70 LA08000 accum depre 2000
75 LA08100 asset (3000)
40 LA54090 clearing acct rev fr asset sale 500
40 LA69620 loss disposal tangible asset (1500)
from the sale, i create DN, the entries is
DR 20042 debtor 500
CR 54091 revenue fr sale of assets. (500)
my question is, what happen to LA54090 and LA69620?
it seems no setoff for clearing account and i do not know what happen to LA69620.
can advise?

As I said in my previuos thread the Gain/Loss on Asset sale will go to the P/L account and Clearing Account for Asset Sale will clear against Sale account.

  • C20/SX20: is there a way to get cdr with loss/jitter stats?

    I try to get a cdr report with loss/jitter, but can not find a solution to do that.
    a) TMS is able to report cdr but only on call participants/duration/encryption/protocol
    b) C20 web gui has the information but only with a count of clicks and only for one call each time
    c) C20 API (cli) I found some commands but nothing to get loss/jitter
        tried xstatus Diagnostics Call Channels -> only for active calls; 
        tried xHistory CallLogs  Recent | Call -> nothing usable
    Is there a way to get cdr with jitter/loss counters for each C20/SX20 in a reporting format?

    Are you at the latest TC 7 software version?    7.2.1 I believe
    Not sure when it was added, but in the Web GUI, under call history...it shows summary info as 1 call per row , then you click the line and it will show detail...   I believe it shows Max Jitter values over the entire call, I find the Diagnostics/Call History easier to read than pulling the call log files

  • DNG with CS5 is always compressed with loss !

    This is not up for discussion , but only as an FYI to all and every one out there using DNG in Photoshops Raw interface:
    DNG done by CS5' s raw 6.x interface will make every DNG file compressed "with Loss" , its not lossless at all ...!!
    To the Adobe Team :
    ....why dont you let us Pro's know about the Fact that your camera Raw 6.x interface will "Compress" an original DNG file
    if a preview jpg is updated ( small option in the right top scroll down menu) within this Raw 6.x interface ?
    ...This is a huge Damage for a previous perfectly and integer (not compressed) DNG file, for your subsequent compression and re-saving of the DNG is
    NOT lossless.....on top of the fact that you do NOT inform us of a "compression" step here , and that we are NOT given an option in your interface of raw 6.x for this NOT to happen, as in :...."do not compress" when update preview jpg
    i have now destroyed 1500 DNG images , from a commercial client shoot,.. by updating all the DNG preview jpgs , ....all DNG files
    now show noise and other artifacts, especially in the always so critical blue chanel,.....this is a shoot where the shoot budget was
    over 50'000 $ !!...
    i also can not open the DNG files anymore in its proprietary software anymore neither,.... sinar capture shop ,....since your raw interface compressed all DNG files... a step that was not asked for...a step that is NOT needed....EVER !
    please everyone ,...spread this around !!

    Wrong...updating a DNG preview will have exactly ZERO impact on the raw data of your file. You are quite wrong if you think this...seriously...do the research (which you claim to be able to do).

    Well, am I talking to a photographer or ad agency? In my experience, ad agencies really DON'T have a clue about digital workflow...and NYC shooters tend to rely on digital techs. Maybe you are different (so far, the way you are behaving here indicates it's par for the course).

    Well, too bad...because something somewhere is whacked. If you think that by updating the DNG preview you are changing your raw image data, then it's all on you bud. The conversion from raw to DNG (except for a few formats that require Linear DNG conversion) is completely lossless. And what the heck do you care about updating the DNG preview? The only need to update the DNG preview is if you are using a 3rd party application that can't read the raw data (like some 3rd part database management apps).
    Seriously dooode, you need to fix your attitude. If you come down off your high horse, you might be able to learn something. Otherwise I suspect you need to start hiring  some digital techs that know a bit more about digital than you do (there are a lot of good ones in NYC, I would be happy to give you some names).

  • Recovery of database with loss of archived logs

    I tried restoring the database using the standard practice, however, I am encountering errors. It looks like we are missing archive log files, but I am not sure. Could anyone provide more insight to this problem and how to recover the database?

    It looks like you may have to manually apply the last redo log.
    SVRMGR> SELECT member FROM v$log l, v$logfile f WHERE l.group# = f.group# AND l.status = 'CURRENT';
    Note the path of this log file.
    SVRMGR> Recover database until cancel
    When you get the message that you mentioned -
    Apply the log member from the select statement above. Give it
    the full path as it appears on the select statement.
    SVRMGR> Alter database open resetlogs;
    The system should respond with "Statement processed".

  • Email accounts lockout along with loss of internet connection

    email accounts (2) constantly being locked out with messages advising 'failed internet connection'. Address bar freezes when typing in web addresses and internet drops out/ freezes after a while when veiwing webpage. Server advises all connections are good and that I should contact Apple re Mac settings!! Any suggestions welcome please.

    Thanks for that. I have done this previously but the problem reoccurs. The issue is intermitent so it is difficult to know if the problem still exists until it fails again.I had spoken to my server ( Fri 3 ) and the emails were working ok ( typing into the browser address bar froze at the time though ) and then today (Sat ) the emails went down again and the internet dropped out when veiwing webpages.

  • PSE-8 crash with loss of internet connection

    PSE crashed when I temporarily lost an internet connection.  Now, when I  try to restart PSE (even after rebooting the computer and modem), the PSE welcome screen appears and says "gathering user data" but it never completes that task. If I click on "Organize" or "Edit" from the main menu while it is supposedly gathering data, I receive a message that PSE has crashed and a trouble ticket will be sent to customer support.  Is this something I can fix from my end?

  • Loss of sound during calls following updating iphone 4 with IOS5

    I've recently updated my Iphone 4 with the IOS5 update.  Since then I've had terrible problems with loss of sound on phonecalls.  I can hear others but they cant hear me  - loss of sound is patchy during a call.  I've cleaned mic with a soft brush and rebooted but problem still exists.  Any ideas before I restore factory settings/ and or take back to the shop?

    I have a Iphone 4 and when i try to make calls, i cannot hear anything unless i put it on speaker, and sometimes if i try to turn the call volume up during a call without the speaker it almost sounds like the speaker is blown out. I just bought this phone online 2 days ago so i don't understand how that could happen.
    Is anyone having this problem? I'm am totally lost with what to do other than return the phone in and see if i can get another one?
    Please help!!!!!

  • Loss of wireless connection with 350n

    I am having a terrible time with loss of connection with my 350 N wireless router. The router itself is on top of a bookshelf less than 50 feet away from both of my wireless desktops, and faces straight down the hallway that both rooms the computers are in open from. Often when I start up my computer it refuses to acknowledge that there is a wireless network present in the house and the only way I can make it detect it is if I powercyle the router--which is a pain. Even sitting directly next to the router it will never recognize better than 85% signal strength. And when I load (not play, just initiate loading) download-heavy content such as streaming video or an MMORPG program the connection will often drop and then reconnect seconds later. Upon performing a speed test it unfailingly indicates that my upstream is twice as fast as my downstream, which reads at only around 1165 Mbps--which is absurd as my modem is provisioned for and often surpasses 16000Mbps. What on earth is going on and what can I do to overcome it? I'm getting desperate here.

    I have fixed my problem by upgrading the router firmware to version 1.03.7 from version 1.03.5.
    The issue I had upgrading the router was it would fail at about 80% when using the router to do the upgrade soooooo, this is how I did it ( stolen from another thread )
    Be warned!  If you do the below and you have custom setting on the router you need to write those setting down first!!!!!!
    1. Download tftp.exe using this link (ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/tftp.exe)
    2. Download the new firmware (version 1.03.7) at Linksys download site
    3. Reset your router by pushing and holding the reset button in the rear for 30sec
    4. Configure a static IP address (192.168.1.50 with Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0) on YOUR PC
    5. Connect a network cable from your PC to your router
    6. Test that your PC is talking to the router by openning a DOS window and type "ping 192.168.1.1" (without the paranthesis) and you should get 3 replies.
    7. Double click on the tftp.exe
    8. Type in the IP Address for the Server: 192.168.1.1
    9. Password is "password" (WITHOUT the paranthesis)
    10. For the BIN file, click on the square-button and browse to the BIN file that you've downloaded from the LinkSys Site (WRT350N_1.03.7_US_code.bin)
    11. Click on Upgrade
    12. After the upgrade is successful, perform the reset, again. IMPORTANT!!!! PUSH AND HOLD THE RESET BUTTON FOR 30sec then let go.
    13. POWER light should be blinking during boot up then stay SOLID
    14. Now, change YOUR PC IP seeting back to what they were before you started this process.
    15.  Start InternetExploder and surf the net
    16. GOODLUCK!!!
    As soon as I did this, my laptop wireless started working 100% and right away.

  • HT3529 Issue with messaging and icloud after ios7.1 update. Need Help!!!

    My husband and I have been having problems with our iphone 5c since the ios7.1 update. We can't seem to send messages to each other now without incurring data charges, because our icloud messaging seems to have both phones synced to my itunes account. I have tried logging into itunes under each of our user id and syncing our respective phones to them, but it is not working. Any Ideas on what to do to fix this?
    When we updated last week on Friday, we had other problems with loss of ringtones, no calls coming through do to the do not disturb feature being fully enabled and no alert to incoming calls while phone is locked. Spent a good hour on the phone with support and didn't resolve, tried resetting, rebooting etc. We ended up in an apple store on Saturday, where the guy got the ringtones, etc. working, but disabled our messaging and when tryng to sign back in, we found both phones linked to my itunes account. Since then, having problems with messaging... At a loss as to what to do now.

    Thanks. We did do all of that, and still kept having problems. I finally figured it out about 5 minutes after I posted. After signing each phone into respective itunes accounts and setting up all of the messaging features to sign into the same, I had to disable the "send as sms" feature inside messaging. Once I was able to force routing text messages addressed to his phone back through imessage from turning this off, my phone finally recognized his imessage seperate account and let the message go through properly. After a couple of tests, then I enabled the "send as sms" again, and it seems to be working fine.
    This update has really been a pain, caused us several issues this go around.

  • No support from Adobe- going to have to make a complaint with Attorney General

    I was recently in a fire (December 2010) and my Creative Suite Design Premium Student Edition was destroyed along with my new MacBook Pro.  I have contacted Adobe since April 20111 to try to acquire a replacement and have had no luck.  First off, I have received automated responses are that are not even a live person.  For example, I explained my situation and that I obviously don't have my serial numbers anymore because they were detroyed in the fire.  Adobe's response, here are your serial numbers, I am sorry you are having a hard time installing your software.  Does that sound like a live person or perhaps a person that does not care.
    Secondly, I submitted my proof of purchase (my mom had purchased the computer and Suite for me).  All the information was available right on the sheet I submitted.  They came back and asked me for the e-mail address of my mother so they could look up her student account.  This was after I explained I was the student.
    Also, I was informed by two people that I would need to fill out a letter of destruction and one person that told me I didn't.  They also told me I could perform a platform switch since I know have a PC.  However, when they finally got around to responding to my inquiry, they said it wasn't available anymore and I needed to upgrade to 5.5.  Now mind you, I had CS5 and Cs5.5 came out in April.  I have been contacting them since May, so they mean to tell me they have no more CS5 for PC?  No, they are just trying to upsell, which would mean $399 for me.
    I am very disgusted with the service at Adobe and the fact that they know they have a monopoly.  They can have workers from other countries who live chat with you, and it takes 10 minutes for them to translate.  Not to mention the fact that if you need support by phone your wait time is 40 minutes.  They also have a tendency to close my cases even before they are resolved.  I know there is a window of 5 days you have to respond in e-mail, which I have done, but they still close it when they feel like they don't want to be bothered.
    Have you ever scene the movie, Rainmaker?  This situation is like that movie.  They deny all claims and even when someone keeps submitting they continue to deny, playing the odds that someone won't contact an attorney.  They are totally in the wrong.  There is no way you can say that they are right when they don't actually read e-mails and provide awful customer service.  I feel sorry for the people that work at Adobe and think they have a good job.  Look what your company stands for.  This is why they are not listed in the Better Business Bureau.

I have suffered with losses due to flooding and that was bad enough. Adobe may not have a legal responsibility to help you, but maybe Adobe will help if for no other reason than the goodwill it will generate.

  • Losing keystrokes in windows 8.1 with browser open

    I'm having a couple weird problems with loss of keystrokes in windows 8.1. Not sure if it's a driver or malware issue.
    Right after I installed windows 8.1 I noticed that if a browser window is open, i lose keystrokes in any application.
    This happens with both Chrome and I.E.
    And the keystrokes that are lost can be in any random edit control, notepad, typing keys into google search, photoshop
    etc.
    And in fact, it's particularly annoying in photoshop because many of photoshop's tools and menus are invoked using alt | shift | ctrl sequences. What often happens is that I use a modifier key such as alt and the keystroke interruption occurs and windows never
    notices that I've taken my finger off the alt key so after that, every keystroke is interpreted as an alt-key sequence until I notice it and re-toggle the alt key.
    Note, this only happens when a browser window is open and even though it made no sense, I swapped keyboards, lol. Problem still occurs.
    I tried uninstalling crashplan and AVG (currently using windows defender).
    I have disabled google-now and all notifications from facebook, etc.
    The reason I know the keystroke loss is from facebook or email messages is that when I had the original problem, it was always accompanied by the audio "Ding" that windows 8.1 gives you when a message comes in. I since disabled audio for windows events
    but it's not actually the audio causing the problem.
    I was not having this problem prior to installing windows 8.1.
    The computer is an i7-3820 with 32gb memory, 256gb ssd, 2tb secondary drive running 64 bit.
    I have run full scans with AVG, Defender and Malware bytes.
    I'm going to try runing a root kit scanner today. What would you recommend my next steps?
    I'm considering just formatting the whole thing and going back to windows 7 pro...
    Any thoughts would be appreciated...

    I sugegst you check settings under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the keyboard easier to use, when a setting under that pane is turned on or turned off, it usually plays a sound or displays a message. sounds like the
    situation you described here.
    Meanwhile, please aslo keep the latest drivers for the keyboard.

  • Trading Partner in Gain and Loss from valuation

    Dear Friends,
    My issue is with the valuation posted for account maintained on line item basis only (Not open item managment).  Since the account is maintained on line item basis, only balance is valuated each month thru f.05.
    The problem is that when account posted with Loss or Gain each month on valuation, the document will not have a Trading partner assigned which causes my inter-company elimination issue.
    How to get Trading partner assigned to document posted on valuation (F.05) I have tried sustitution rule and OB32 to make Trading Partner as editable but SAP does not allow both.

    My problem is with the autmated posting result from forex gain or loss when carrying F.05. These documents autmatically created but donot update the Trading Partner. I can not manually input them even if enter Trading Partner is option in OBA7 is checked.

    It shouldn't be the problem with the authorization as "unable to archive" error comes once in a while. There can be some problem with loss of network, which might be creating this error.
    A detailed error message will be helpful to assist you.

  • For the Pro's: Experience with Carbon Copy Cloner

    Hi everybody,
    I am a professional musicproducer. I use my MAC (G5, 2,7MHz DP 4GB RAM) every day many hours as my main working tool. So I cannot afford a loss of my system disc. If the disc fails some day, I do have to have a copy of it, that I can connect and go on working immediatedly. CCC is the perfect tool and i thank Mike Bombich for this efforts.
    My tests were as follows:
    After having cloned the system disc to a firewire drive successfully, I checked that I can boot from that drive, as long as the system disc is still in its place, connected and working.
    Then I tried the worst case scenario: I plugged my system disc off (bus- and powerplugs pulled out), simulating a harddisc crash with loss of the complete drive, and looked what happens. You have to press the "Option" key during power up of your MAC, and the system will search and show the available drives. I marked the cloned system and started. It worked! Everything looked the same as with a start from the internal drive.
    My question was: what exactly works and what not? Here is my report (I checked only LOGIC PRO 7.1.1):
    I can start the programm, I can open all of the songs - with some restrictions. A logic song has a lot of links to a lot of audio files. In my case, EXS instruments and EXS samples are on the internal drive, recorded audio is on a seperat drive. Logic of course can not find those on the (no more existing) internal drive any more, so I am asked to perform a search. But after all, the song is complete and working. The entries in the Project Manager database, that show the dependencies of instruments, songs and audiofiles, point to the internal drive - so the Project Manager is of no use anymore. But in practice, this is a minor problem.
    Now to my next question, concerning authorisations: I tried the "Waves" plug-ins: Yes, they work! And I tried the plug-ins of UAD, (they use a PCI DSP card): they work too! Only with the TC-Electronic plug-ins I was not successful, i got an "Error -1" - whatever that means. (I forgot to check "Autotune")
    All told, I am very happy with the Copy Cloner! It is "the" application for my purpose! Thanks again to Mike and Andreas!

    My own tests were less than satisfying: third-party plugs (in my case, NI) often don't like you messing with the disk they're installed on.
    After I restored to a clone, the B4 plugs, for me, refused to work. They demanded a reinstall (which, as all NI users know, is a royal PITA).
    In my case, having to reinstall a particular plugin was not the end of the world... after all, 45 minutes lost is better than rebuilding a system from scratch.
    But the lesson remains: an "exact clone" of your disk is never a 100% guarantee of immediate uptime, as you too discovered.
