Hi,
HR uses INFOTYPES insteed of tables.
There are different sub modules exist in HR.
For Personal Admn the Infotypes start with PA0000 to PA1999
Time Related Infotypes start with PA2000 to PA2999.
Orgn related Infotypes start with HRP1000 to HRP1999.
All custom developed infotypes stsrat with PA9000 onwards.
In payroll processing we use Clusters like PCL1,2,3 and 4.
Instead of Select query we use PROVIDE and ENDPROVIDE..
You have to assign a Logical Database in the attributes PNP.
Go through the SAp doc for HR programming and start doing.

HR module for Personal administration

Hi all,
I am new to HR module ,i Need to implement Personal administartion in BI 7.0 . To achieve one report i need to enhace 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR, 0EMPLOYEE_0022_ATTR ans some other datasources also with some additional fields like baseloaction,University,hihestlevelofqualification etc.
I ahd 2 ques regarding this
1)I wanted to know is the same way other modules implementing need to be followed in HR also.I
2)In ECC itself some of our PA tables itself appeneded with Z-fields so can it possible to append directly into the corresponding extarct structure same like other modules
3) Regarding data loading datasources like 0EMPLOYEE_0022_ATTR is not supported by delat so do i need to do full update always.
And also please mention if is there any pointers need to take into action while implementing HR Module .

Enhancement of HR datasource is same as other module DS enhancement, and u can append custom fields as u do it for other businesses.
Most of the HR datasources (Master & Transaction) does not support Delta load, so it a daily full load

ABAP WEBDYNPRO Application Administrative DATA URL HOST & PORT empty/blank

My ABAP Webdynpro applications do not display the preview layout in SE80 just white page - no errors ANYWHERE.
Also in SE80 the properties on the application look like: https://:/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/z_rep_text. Don't know why https, but I think if I could figure that out I may resolve the issue. Can't see why trying to run HTTPS, then the host & port are empty.
I have been reading SDN posts & notes for days on this. I HAVE ACTIVATED ALL SERVICES that is not the issue. This works fine in our QA system so I know it is some sort of configuration in the development system that is causing this issue.
We just applied support packs to 23 on SAP ECC 6.0. SAP_ABAP, SAP_BASIS 7.0 level 23. This was working before patches. There had to be some note that changed what WEBdynpro's look at so now development is no longer working.
Any suggestions would be appretiated.

We found that the profile parameter login/ticket_only_by_https was set to 1. Once we changed to 0 everything worked fine.

Hi nikhil,
if u r new to sap doing certification is the best choice to get employed with a company. ur experience for less than one year will not speak much than ur certification do. so it is always better to go for certification. so that u can get ur job quicker. if certified ur employment is sure in which ever module it may be

HR personal administration data

Hi Experts,
My requriement is to create a report to see the apprailsal amount and %
for example : Last year salary (before apprail) = 30,00 and salary raised by 10,000 and after apprailsal salary will be = 40,000
I would like to see
Empid Name Last year salary Raised amount percentage
100 abc 30,000 10,000 33.33%
Salary is maintained as master data. I am using cube 0PAPD_C02 . it doen't help.
salary is actually an display attribute on 0employee . How to get the salary from last year.
Can anyone has development such report before OR have any clue to acheive this.
Is ther any standard report for such kind of requirement ?

Hi Amu,
You can use display attribute for calculation in formula by using processing type replancement path, no need to change as navigational attribute....

Personal administration

hi all
We are starting to have issues with employees being rehired & terminated more than once.
This is an issue because during the PA40 actions (so far "rehire" and "termination") - IT0041 is not wanting to accept ADDITIONAL rehire dates or termination dates if there is already a date that has been populated once
During the rehire process, when IT0041 comes up, it says "Date type 42 already exists".
what can be the reason for this? we still need all the rehire dates for historical purposes.

Please check table V_T582A 'Infotype attributes (Customizing)', if the time constraint for an infotype 0041 is set to value 'B'? If so, This means that the infotype 41 may only exist exactly once from January 1, 1800, to December 31, 9999. Hence it is a standard behaviour of the system as the system prevents one from entering a begin date or an end date for this infotype record.

The savings plans screens are not showing up in SAP System automatically when inputting a new hire into the system. Can any body give sugesstions regarding this ?

Hello Krishna,
You should maintain Infogroup properly.
In PA40 actions, on the first Infotype (Actions), you can check in Application Toolbar --> Change Infogroup.
This configuration can be done at V_T588D (and V_T588C).

both are full directlty to cube?
i created process chain like this

Please let me know my chain is correct or i need to do any modifications?

i used sequence instead of parallen, will be any probelm?
Look.........we use parallel method......bcoz it will help to reduce the runtime of the Process chain....
Again for parallel mechanism there r many loop holes..........bcoz each Job will create many child Jobs.......suppose at that time many Jobs r running in the system.......then it will effect the performance.....
So u can use sequence instead of parallen........no probs........
Deleting recent PSA requests is not a good practice.........bcoz suppose there is some errorneous records.......u need to reload the records again ........then if u delete the PSA request.........u hav to again extract the data from the source system............which will be time consuming.......
U can delete old PSA requests..........ex..........older than 10 days.....
Now since it is a Full upload............ur flow is correct......but u hav to Drop Index before deleting the content........ie......
START
DELETE PSA REQUEST (0HR_PA_0)
DELETE PSA REQUEST (0HR_PA_1)
LOAD TO PSA ( 0HR_PA_0_

ABAP-HR:Infotype

Hi,
I am working with ABAP-HR.
In Personal Administration, while defining Infotypes , they say 'each infotype requirs at least 2 structures and atleast 1 internal table'.
Will any body please help me to get the idea.

Each infotype has two structures and One associated table.
PSnnnn - this structure contains all of the infotype data fields.
Pnnnn - this structure contains infotype key fields and all the data fields from the structure PSnnnn.
Here nnnn is the infotype number.
PAnnnn PBnnnn etc are actual database tables hoilding the data.
In ABAP-HR Infotype are grouped in INfoGroups. They have Screens associated with it. And a user has to fill those screens and it is possible that user might chane a value many times before actually saving it.
So these structures acts as a temporary storage for thise values.

ABAP centered role assignment not working

I have been trying to implement ABAP centered role assignment for our users but not really having much luck in gettng it to work. I've been trying to make sense of it by using [the help guide|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmobile71/helpdata/en/d2/3e3842b23d690de10000000a155106/frameset.htm] but I must be doing someting wrong. Here are the steps that take.
1. Create a single ABAP role - A single role with no menu or authorizatons
2. Create a UME Group - I name the group exactly the same as the ABAP single role from the previous step
3. Assign UME Group to Portal Role
4. Assign mapped user to ABAP role
Supposedly the ABAP role assingment is supposed to reflect through to the UME group membership so the portal user then sees the associated portal tab.
Can you enlighten me?

I 'm facing same kind of problem.
Case 1:
I tried with:
                  Assigning users to group (abap role) which didn't worked.
                  Assigning UME Role to group (abap role) which worked. Then i assigned the user to the UME Role, but the user is not getting the backend authorizations.
                  Assigning the portal role to the group (abap role), then when i assiged a user to the abap role from R/3 automatically the user is getting the portal role.
How can i do the same from portal?
Case2:
While distributing the portal roles to the ABAP system (System Administrator -> Permissions -> SAP Authorizations), the status is showing as "Role transfer compleated". but when i checked from the R/3 transaction WP3R, there are no portal roles.
Why are the portal roles not getting transfered even though the status is green?

Dynamic actions:
Here, you control the initiation of actions when maintaining an infotype
record. This can be the maintenance of an additional infotype record or
performing a routine.
For each action, you can determine whether it is always
carried out when you change an infotype or a subtype or whether it is only
carried out if you change certain fields.
You can state whether the action is
to be carried out for "Change", "Create" and/or "Delete" record.
You can store the conditions for executing the action, for example, the comparison of
the old and new value of a field.
Finaly, you can also specify default values for a record that is to be created.
Example
When you create the infotype Contract Elements (0016), you predefine a
period for the probation period. The system creates a date/deadline record so
that you can invite the employee to an employee inteview.

Table& field names for position name(employee) in HR-ABAP

wht r the table and fields for the following .
exp: pa0001-plans = employee position number.
employee position name = ?
employee grade level = ?
employee sub grade indicator = ?

Employee Position name:
If you have OM-PA integration active (table T77S0, key "PLOGI-ORGA", value 'X'), then the Description of the Position can be found in HRP1000, like this:
SELECT mc_stext FROM hrp1000 INTO <my_var> WHERE plvar = <active_plvar>
otype = 'S'
objid = PA0001-PLANS.
If integration is disabled, description of the positions are in table T528T (field PLSTX).
If I have understood well, employee grade and sub-grade are data that you can find in PA0008 (fields TRFGR - TRFST).
Otherwise, try to explain me these fields (if they are related to Payroll or Personnel Developement or Personal Administration or..., and so on) and I'll help you.

I was asked to create reports in ECC 6.0 from the reports which already exists in 4.6c.Also told that there is a CTS in ECC 6.0 for the HR objects. What is CTS?What should I do with this?How should I do?
