About report info

Hello frieds,
I am developing one report for gate pass information record.
For that i created one table to store gate pass information, with different fields like delivery challan no., truck route, driver name, km out on gate pass, km in on gate pass,. etc. So for this requirement i need one help, according requirement suppose 10 trucks are going on A route for delivery of material out of that 5 trucks are going on same route suppose take example all 5 trucks are going on B root. and all 5 trucks carrying 3 different material and out of that suppose one box contains same material on same type, so how can i calculate total of these 3 different material in 1 box so total of all materials will get updated in my delivered material table. Please send me any sample report for this requirement or  give me any standard program name or function module name.
Thanx & Regards,
Rahul Talele

I’m absolutely sure, If the PC exists within CM07 then they data will be exposed via resource explorer.

Hi Garth,
What if the OS reinstalled machine got the SCCM Client installed now. Will it still show the old history details? or Will it show the current inventory details alone?

    Dear guru ,
Can you give me info about  report ZMVERBRP that rebuild historical consumptions ?
Oss note 804011 describe that I can use note 791728.
    But this note doesnu2019t exist.
    Can you help me ?
    Thanks

The implementation is free of charge from SAP's perspective as you apply the note. Please make sure that you actually read the code and adapt to your needs if needed.
The note exists but only as a pilot release and and customers will be added only if they really want the reports. SAP does not officially support it. I know it from first hand, I'm the one who releases it to the customers

  • About license info

Wondering if this is the right forum to ask about license info...
Out of my curiosity. I've read somewhere saying Oracle database license does not allow other reporting tools to mine data directly from the oracle database without a oracle report builder developer license???

The only official place to ask license questions is your Oracle rep. Very few, if any, of the responders on this site work for Oracle, of the few who do, I would be surprised if any had the authority/knowledge to interpret licensing questions.
Having said that, and adding "I'm not a lawyer but ...", as far as I know, there are no restrictions on what you can do with your properly licensed Oracle database as long as you remain within the user/CPU limits in your agreement.
If a Report Builder license was required to use any reporting tool, then I suspect that 99% plus of the Oracle users out there would be in violation of their licenses. I know we would be.
    Report away.

When I try to open a recent document I get the following message "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document."  I have downloaded version Pages version 5.2.2 and the app store confirms this (and won't let me download it again), but my Pages About reports that I am using 4.3

Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents

  • Firefox crashes upon open - won't send crash report; crash report info summarized below

I have one computer that crash every time I start Firefox. Ocassionally the firefox window will appear for less than a second and then the Crash Report Window shows up; most times it goes right to Crash Report Window. Then it is for some reason unable to send the crash repor; it keeps looping back to the crash report. I've checked my modem and router are operating correctly; I have another computer that's working fine. I've run scan for Trojans, viruses and still see the problem. Any help would be very much appreciated as I'm stuck at this point. For what it's worth, Internet Explorer has the same problem, crashing upon opening.
    == Crash ID(s) ==

Hello. I have a similar problem to the question of Ryan Vaught, (Firefox crashes upon open - won't send crash report; crash report info summarized below [MY] Firefox version: prior one to 3.6.7 Operating System: Windows XP Provessional). Mine is a bit different tho. Firefox seems to be crashing and my internet crashes right with it. When it does this, it also takes out some Win32 system .exe files. I too have ran AVG (Full Coverage /Purchased one) and then updated to Viper (Sunbelt Software) and it comes up clean of any viruses, etc. Once it crashes and I close Firefox, the crash report request comes up. When I hit send, it says it cannot be sent with no additional information as to why. I just updated Firefox to 3.6.7 and sure hope this helps, but it almost always happens when I am playing games that use flash. I can send a screenshot if you need it and feel free to edit my question if need be. I've checked my Viper settings and can get to all the websites so far trying to rule it out. Deleted my internet set up and then added it back as a new connection (hope that made sense), so I don't know who to be asking this question of, but hoping you may know the answer why I can't send the crash report. Whew! Sorry for the lengthy question/issue. Your help is greatly appreciated!! Carolyn Burnam

Convert it to a standard report with a custom report template, using PL/SQL function returning a SQL Query to switch between the 2 queries, and [this technique|http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=23415:2:0] to get the required layout. As it's a standard report you can use standard pagination.

  • Report about reports

    Hi Gurus
How to create a report (using Presentation Services) which contains informations about reports, Dashboards?
I mean exactly, to see the content of the Presentation catalog in a report form.
    Thanks
    Laszlo

    Hi Laszlo
I am not a guru so that's only my opinion:
The content of the catalog is stored in files in a folder tree. These files are used by a java-based service that queries the BI server, performs some computations and displays the whole in the pretty report you asked.
So I don't think there is any easy way to query the catalog. I think it would mean dig in the folders and files to try and get some data, store it in some Oracle table and report on that. Tricky. Some files contain XML (report description) so you can most probably load that. But attribute files are harder to understand. They most probably contain security and other settings information...
Maybe another source of information could be the NQ server log files. You would then raise the users' log level to some level and then read the log files when you want to perform some query. Again, not sure this is very easy, and most probably not following the best practices.
    good luck!
    Ced.

  • Question about reports layout

    Hi ,
I have a quick question about report Layout.
I have created a report in 6i. Now if I want to change my
select statement and add new table to select from , it just
restructures my report layout again and set that to Default One.
Is there any way where I can set my Own layout as Default for
    that particular Report ?
I would really appreciate any feedback.
    Thanks
    Vidya

Try to give it alias names to the columns . Then when you
change the table your are selecting from . The layout should
    not change.

  • Report info about a specific machine

    Hi,
Does somebody have a report that gives all information in SCCM about a specific machine between a timespan (like between November 1st and November 21st)?
We would like as much as possible info about a specific workstation that's available in the SCCM SQL database, for forensic reasons (i.e. software installed, last user logged in, etc).
The specific workstation has been reinstalled, so checking the workstation itself is not possible anymore.
    Thanks!

  • Doubt about Report:: Count users by domain

    Guys,
when I run report: Count users by domain, display my domain XXX and some hostnames users logged in my domain and 15 users logged locally.
Well, some users after 2 weeks already logged in domain but in my report still display info user logged locally.
    Why this?
Is there someone I do run manually for not display more this users now log on in domain but display logged locally? I think this only cache, but I don't want my report contains data wrong.
    Any idea?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
If you are talking about the information in report "Users in a specific domain", the information are collected by hardware inventory. SCCM collects inventories on a periodic basis, not real-time. You could initiate Hardware Inventory Cycle from client to
accelerate the speed for updating data.

  • Reporting info to LMS?

    Hi,
Can someone tell me all about or point me to where I can get the info on how and what data gets "reported" to an LMS?
I don't see anywhere that I can pass a variable. I also what to know when the info gets set.  I am assuming it is all gathered and sent at the end of a session so that if the user changes his mind and unclicks and reclicks stuff, only the final answer is sent.  I
Is there detailed documentation somewhere on this?
    Thanks much!
      Lori

What gets reported completely depends on what you select in the Quiz Preferences.
SCORM identifies specific things to track, i.e. 'lesson_location' to record the page where the lesson was exited, 'suspend_data' for any random information that needs to be tracked, 'score' for a quiz percentage (usually), 'status' for passed/failed or completed/incomplete, 'interaction' and 'objective' (in arrays) to record specific interaction/objective data....and so on.
So what you can store has to match with those pre-defined values. You can't just say, for example, UserName == "Jane Doe" and tell the LMS to store UserName...
'suspend_data' is mostly the only place you can store random data, but CP does not provide a way for you (that I know of) to put random information into that field.
I've not explored when data is sent in CP4, but in CP3 it seemed to be sent on a timed-interval, every 7 seconds more or less. In some situations, it may be sent every time a page is advanced (which is the proper way,  IMO), or it may be stored in internal JS variables until the very end...
Either way would be fine in the scenario you propose. Whether the data is sent after every page or all at the end, both would allow a user to go back and change their answers, and have those updated to the LMS....*if* you setup the quiz to allow users to change their answers....

  • Sleep crash repeating- Apple report info/crash log...   Help...

My very new 17" MB Pro core 2 duo keeps crashing when it is put to sleep... over and over... This last time I listened to it and heard the hard disk go quiet, but about 3 hours later I could hear it running with the lid closed and when I opened it up it was very warm and it wouldn't start up- return key, power key, whatever, so I had to hold the power key down to shut it all the way down and then reboot... Once in a while it does fine, which keeps me hoping it has stopped... All current updates installed...
Disk utility and techtool delux both say everything is OK...
    Sure could use some help...

    17" MacBook Pro core2 duo   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

    Jim,
Thanks for your response, a lot... After posting my message yesterday afternoon it actually occurred to me to do just what you are telling me to do, so when I saw your response this morning saying that, I was heartened, especially because it had just come out of sleep a second time OK... I put it to sleep with everything disconnected early in the evening, and then in the middle of the night again, after using it a couple hours, and then again this morning, after using it a couple more hours, and now here in the early evening it comes out of sleep OK, after all day in it, with everything once again disconnected...
I've never have a problem with it while using it,and all peripherals seem to work OK to... only the sleep situation...
Something curious though is that all of the peripherals I am using worked fine and didn't interfere with sleep ever on my earlier Mac, an older 15" powerBook G4, system 10.4.8 and all updates... Years with that computer and never a sleep problem, and the only thing different peripheral wise with this new one is that there is a new USB 2.0 Belkin 7 port hub, rather than my old Belkin hub with the slower USB speed... There is also a new hard disk to back up to, but I used it for a few weeks on the old computer while I waited for this one and no problem...
I suspect you know the obvious questions much better than I, so I'll leave it there and see what you say... I'll probably try experimenting in the meantime to see if it is something specific, by leaving one or two things hooked up, see what happens... I'm getting a little paranoid about letting it happen a lot though, fearing that it will somehow mess up the computer in some other way if I do...
    Again, thanks...
    John.
