Accesing system DLL resources

Hi.
I need one application in DLL´s Visual Basic i access it jni way very well. but when i put this access code in a WebDynPro i get one message of denied permision to com objetcts...
I think that i have to modified a grant permission in the java.policy file.
My DLL´s are living in c:windowssystem32
i think that grant permission could be the next
grant codeBase "file:c:windowssystem32-" {
  permission java.security.AllPermission;};
is it correct ???
is it the way o there are another ?

First off, I would try adjusting your settings in the build spec. ie. Experiment with the settings by:
1. Going to the advanced category and generating a build log file
2. Enable debugging
3. Go to additional exclusions and modifying these settings by disconnecting type defs and de-selecting all the other options.
If this doesn't work try deleting the build spec and starting the process over. Build specs can sometimes become corrupted.
I am not sure what system.dll is used for but if it is needed for some reason then the best thing to do would be to figure out what system.dll is where is should be located and see if it is there. If it is not you may be able to see troubleshooting steps online to recover it. Do you know any more information about this dll? It seams to be so general that searching for it is difficult. I would advise against download just anything off the internet named system.dll just as a warning. If it is a commonly needed dll. It would be a target for malware or virus'.

  • Illegal system dll relocation, contact vendor for new dll

Unable to upgrade or test Schockwave due to the following message:
illegal system DLL Relocation. The system DLL was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL has occupied an address range reserved for windows system DLLS.  The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

You get this when doing what?  Shockwave Player or Flash Player?
First thing I would recommend is a malware scan.

  • System damage from blocked system .dll file

On my Pavilion dv6, a file (mobogenie/nengenie.dll) belonging to the Windows 7 system has been blocked by the anti virus/malware programn due to malware infection of this file. That is as it should be. However, pc peformance has been decreased (resources run out after 1 hrs use, lagging) as a result.  What do I do? Do I have to recover Windows 7 or have clean up of my hard disc, and how? Many thanks for any help out there for this very basic problem

    Hello @Marshall379,
I understand that there is a .dll file that is being blocked on your notebook computer, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
To ensure your system is not compromised, I recommend following the steps in this document on Resolving and Preventing Viruses on Your Computer (Windows 7, Vista, XP). This should help prevent any malicious software from infecting your system.
If the issue continues, I recommend performing a backup and recovery. This can be done by following this document on Backing Up Your Files (Windows 7) as well as Performing an HP system recovery (Windows 7). This should help return your notebook's system back to factory defaults.
Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your reply!

  • Grid system design resources?

I'm aware of the layout resources available from the traditional sources (gridsystem.org) but am looking for examples or templates that work well in practice.  We're about to bring in a designer and we'd like to show them samples of re-usable grids that can be the basis for strong and coherent design.  Does anyone have examples of grid system printed materials and/or websites that have recently gone through a rebrand or brand development that are viewable online? I'd love to show them what is possible.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

  • Necessary system dll before calling SAPbobsCom.dll

    Hi:
I am using an application which allows me to call dll files in a specific folder. Hence, when I call SAPbobsCom.dll, the application needs related dll's supporting SAPbobsCom.dll. Could you tell me whatelse dll's are needed for calling SAPbobsCom.dll?
More detail: A normal application will check dll's registerred in the OS and use them. However, what I am using is not. Hence, I need to know what dll's registered to the OS are required by SAPbobsCom.dll. Thanks a lot

    Hi
You can use e.g. Microsoft's "Dependency Walker" (<b>depends.exe</b>).
It is part of the tools shipped with MS Visual Studio, the Windows Resource Kit Supplements etc. (see the Microsoft home page for more: search e.g. for "depends.exe" or "198038 +depends.exe").

  • BI running on System i, resource to MSSQL db

    Hi All,
I have BI running on System 'i' and I need to setup a resource to a MSSQL db. Has anyone done this before. The only documentation I can find is just backwards from what I want, it shows BI on Windows with a resource setup to DB2 for 400.
    Thanks for your input.
    Diana

    Hi Diana,
you are strictly ABAP - but perhaps you could add windows as an appl server ....
Then you get the chance to get a connect to MSSQL very easy and for free )

    Hi,
This seems to be a dicitionary corruption. Its better if you consult your DBA.
If you are a DBA in your project then post the below output
    select object_name, owner, object_type from dba_objects where object_name = 'USER_OBJECTS';
    set long 4000
    select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('VIEW','USER_OBJECTS','SYS') from dual;Regards

  • Station Globals resource related question( how much it allocates / optimal size of it in system)

    Hi,
I have some questions StationGlobal’s oriented:
    1. Does the variables of type StationGlobal allocate equals amount of memory without reference to type?
For example: Number/String/Boolean/Object Reference allocates equals resources:Number=String=Boolean=Object Reference=’X’ bytes)
       Or Number=’X’ bytes, String=’Y’ bytes, Boolean=’Z’ bytes?
    2. Does it make the difference if I have 10 or 100 or 1000 StationGlobals variables allocated in my system regards  - resources of my system and
how the quantity of it influences(or not influences) to performance of system/Test execution?
Those questions are important, because we want to know how the quantity/type of StationGlobal’s lvariables influence to overall throughput/performance of
    System (e.g. Test running).
    Thank you & Best Regards
    *I use LabVIEW 8.X & TestStand 3.5/4.0.1 versions only

Not so strange IMHO. You might be making a mental analogy to C data structures where nothing is abstracted and you know exactly what is happening to each byte.
However, TestStand variables are black box objects with a lot more functionality than plain C data structures. Like most such objects you create via almost any object oriented API, their exact memory usage is NOT documented.
One reason memory usage is not documented is that we need to be free to change the implementation if necessary, which would not be possible if we make guarantees about exact memory usage. Another reason it is not documented is because in most practical cases, it is not important, and we don't want to mislead people into worrying about it.
If you are allocating data structures of such vastness that it actually does matter, then the task manager is an appropriate and easy tool to use to view the approximate magnitude of memory used by the objects you create. This applies to most objects from most APIs, not just TestStand variables.

  • ConsoleOne.exe won't start and takes up 100% of system resources

The process starts up, waits for a few seconds and then take all the
system CPU resources. AND the program doesn't start. I've heard
malfunctioning ConsoleOne software is caused by Java2 issues, but I have
(almost) ruled that out by uninstalling and RE-installing different
version of Java2 with no result, versions that all have worked just up
till recently. I have experienced this sort of problem one time earlier
but it was solved by a forced formating of the harddrive due to other
circumstances. Some days ago my computer froze up, and after the forced
reboot ConsoleOne would'nt start up. We run consoleone.exe over the
    network directly from the
    server.

  • SQORA32 driver could not be loaded. System error 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed

I have an MS Access 2013 application that opens a connection to an Oracle database via an Oracle client.
On occasion the application returns the following error when the ODBC connection is opened:
Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error
1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1, C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\SQORA32.DLL).
This is an intermittent problem that is reproducible on several workstations (all running Windows 7 x64 with 32-bit version of Office 2013 and 32-bit Oracle client 11.2.0).
Many times the ODBC connection is established without a problem
Other times the connection can be established by closing then re-opening the application once
Other times closing the re-opening the application several times does not help
The same application is being run on several workstations and not every user experience the problem at the same time. The problem may be chronic for one user whereas another user experiences no problem whatsoever.
All of the posts I have seen concerning this issue are for a persistent problem opening a connection and not an intermittent one. I am at a loss of how to diagnose this problem and would appreciate some direction.

    Hi Ross,
This error message is Microsoft Data Link Error, this error occurs on windows when attempting to start a service or load a system driver but the DLL you loaded or one of its dependencies returned FALSE. It typically point to a system DLL file which is located
in system32 and can be fixed by using the System File Checker tool. In your case, I suspect that it occurs due to a calling failure connecting to ODBC driver and it pointed to an error link C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\SQORA32.DLL which is hosted by oracle.
If they are analogous, a “repair” seems to be helpful, However since we are not expert about oracle program I‘d suggest you check if C:\app\Oracle\BIN\SQORA32.DLL file exists on your machine and contact with Oracle first, I think there you can get more effective
suggestion by other experts who familiar with design of Oracle database. Your understanding is highly appreciated.
By the way, I searched for you and seems like you are not alone about this issue.

  • How do you reference assembly resources from MP in PowershellGrid Widget script

Instead of shipping my custom assemblies to a known location on the system center 2012 server in separate files, I'm trying to use assembly resources to do this.  The issue I am having is referencing these assemblies in the script for the PowershellGrid

As suggested in technet answer -

To illustrate what I am using, I've put in an exception to try and return the assembly path -
throw "Test that the Assembly Path is returned:" + "$FileResource[Name='PaulsMP!DSUtilsTest']/Path$"
Part of the exception is the following where you can see the Path$ has not been translated -
      [Microsoft.SystemCenter.Visualization.Component.Library.DataProviders.PowershellProvider,
    Microsoft.SystemCenter.Visualization.Component.Library.DataProviders, Version=7.0.5000.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35].Test that the Assembly Path is returned:[Name='PaulsMP!DSUtilsTest']/Path$ --->
So the questions are - can these assembly resources be referenced in Powershell grid widget scripts and if so, what is the syntax?
BTW, my MP resources fragment looks like this -
    <Resources>
    <Assembly ID="DSUtilsTest" QualifiedName="DSUtilsTest1, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" FileName="DSUtilities.dll" Accessibility="Public" HasNullStream="false"
    />
    </Resources>
    Many Thanks,
    Paul
