Access ECC report in CRM

Hi,
I have got a requirement where-in I have to access some standard reports in ECC from SAP CRM 2007.
Any pointers on how to do this will be appriciated...
Thanks in advance...
Regards
Ravindran.

Hi ,
The only possible solution that i can see here is to create your own FM in ECC and call the standard report fom there and store the values in the tables parameter in the FM.
FM should be RFC one but of course.
I dont know whether you would have auth. to do any development in ECC or not.
Else if any exit is there in that Report then you can SET parameter from there and retrieve the value by GET parameter here in CRM.
I have never tried like this but hope it would work.

  • Unable to access ECC transactions from CRM using Transaction Launcher

Hi Folks, we are trying to create a booking request using VA11 from portal. For this we have configured transaction launcher in CRM which will connect to ECC system from portal and VA11 screen will be launched. For this we have done the necessary configuration in transaction launcher (Including RFC destination and logical system) and this is working fine in Dev system but not in quality system. We are able to see SAP screen with toolbar Menu and System but not the entire transaction (refer image below). Our questions here are,
    1)     What user type has to be configured when connecting from CRM to ECC? (System, Communication data or any ohter)
    2)     If this has to work with user as Dialog, is there any supporting document from SAP saying this should be Dialog user?
    3)     Is there any other issue and need development specifically related BOR TSTC?
Warm regards and thanks in advance for your time.

    Hello JC,
Yes, it is possible . You have to create new work center link or Direct Link for the existing transaction launcher.

  • BW reports from CRM web gui

    Hello Experts,
We are displaying two web reports from BW in CRM layout. For this our requirement is not to have a separate account created for each CRM user in BW. Just to have one generic user created in BW and the same generic user has to be used across all the CRM users to access these two reports.
It should not prompt for user name and password while accessing the reports in CRM layout.
Please suggest how to do get this done.
    BestRegards
    kavitha

    Hi,
There will be service created for your application already in transaction 'SICF' . Search for your service(Application) "ex: Ztest". Double Click on your application. Click on Logon data tab supply the logon credentials, what u already use for BI system. save it and the run your application once again. It will not ask for any user name and password now.Hope this will solve your problem.

  • How to Call SAP ECC transactions into CRM IC Webclient Profile Screen

    Dear all,
We are implementing IC Webclient application for our Clientu2019s call center operations.
All sales related activities are being created in back end SAP ECC system like, starting from Quotation to Sales Order, Deliveries and Billing.
Client wants to see all relevant ECC reports of Sales transactions in IC Webclient Screen.
Connectivity between SAP CRM and ECC has already been established and we did all basic configuration for IC Webclient, but donu2019t know how to and where to call ECC transaction in IC Webclient Screen.
I am looking for suggestions from any of you to handle this requirement successfully. I would be grateful if you send me any documentation which addresses this requirement.
Your suggestions and help will be highly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Raghu ram.

    Hi,
Step-by-step process for the same is as follows:
    1. Create a launch transaction to launch the relevant BOR object at the following
    IMG->CRM->IC WebClient->Basic Functions->Transaction launcher -> Configure Transaction Launcher (Wizard).
This wizard is very useful and easy way to create a launch transaction and guides through each step and generates a handler class for you.
    2. This transaction now has to be incorporated in the Navigation bar. For this you have to create navigation bar entry and navigation bar profile.
IMG-> CRM-> IC WebClient->Basic Functions -> Define Navigation Bar Profiles
Here you have to first Define Entries where you would input Launch transaction ID created in step 1 and then Define the Navigation Bar Profile.
    3. Assign the Navigation bar profile to IC WebClient profile.
Please note that you can you Transaction launcher for incorporating any web links, PCUI Transactions, CRM Transactions, ERP transactions etc.

  • Replicating ECC Data to CRM 2007 server

    Hi,
I want to replicate ISU specific data from ECC server to crm 2007 server. Can you suggest any possible ways to do so.
Also forward any relevant documents at karanchopra.kc(AT)gmail(DOT)com
    Thanks,
    Karan Chopra

Technical master data does not exist in CRM.
You need to replicate this data into the POD in CRM.
    However you might want to:
Convince your client it's not a good idea to duplicate everything to CRM, there's a reason why they are two systems
Investigate the possibilities of custom replication objects (I'm not an expert on that, but from what i've heard it's not easy to get working)
Look into the possibility of using RFC calls to access the data directly in ISU from CRM, instead of replicating it.
    good luck!

  • ECC Report

    Hi Experts,
In our project we have created some ECC Reports. The names of report are
    Application Report
    BEE Report
    Cost Center Report
    Cost Center YTD Report
    Material Analysis - MC.9
    Purchase Orders By Vendor
Total Cash Flow Per Month Report
We have to write some thing about ECC Reports. We don't have to write any thing about the specific report. We have to write some thing in general about ECC Report.
Keeping this in view, can you please let me know, what is ECC Report? Why we need ECC Report.

  • How a J2EE web application access CR reports stored on the CR Server XI?

    Hi,
I'll be working on some crystal report templates that will eventually be hosted/publish on the CR Server XI.
    My questions are:
    1. How my J2EE web application access those reports?
    2. Do my web application uses some CR API for the connectivity and integration?
    3. What will happen to the database connectivity of the report template? since the report are created locally.
    4. Can the report template be edited/updated on the server?
    5. How the CR XI login functionality be involve in the integration (web application ---> CR Server XI)?
    6. Is the J2EE web application be deployed on similar web/application server where the CR Server XI resides?
    7. What is the role of RAS, Universe, Business View Manager to this whole CR integration?
I hope you can provide some guidance on this journey to Crystal Report world

    1) Your application connects via the Java SDK using the appropriate JAR files.
    2) It can.  You can set the database information at runtime or use the already populated information from Enterprise.
    3) Same as 2.   Typically when you save the report to Enterprise you set up the database information there so that it runs against the database you want without prompting.  You can change this via code to hit whatever equivalent database you want.
    4) Yes.  You would have to use RAS and the RCAPI to accomplish this via code.  You can also make changes in the designer and overwrite the existing report template.
    5) You will log in via code. The information on how to do so is in the SDK documentation, which I will link.
    6) It can be deployed to the same machine as CR Server, though we recommend against that.  Typically you will want to deploy it to a seperate web server and allow it to connect to the CR Server across the network.
    7) RAS can be used to run reports, as well as the page server.  The universe and business view manager are not directly used in code.  If a report runs against a universe or business view then it will use them for data, but you wouldnt do anything with them directly.
    [BOE Developer Library|http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2SP2/en/devsuite.htm]
You will find the Java SDK information under the BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK section.

  • How to secure access of Report based on a condition

    Hello Experts,
My project requirement is to secure BW Reports based on a condition. For e.g a user should be authorized to access the Report if:
    1. He is the WBS Manager of the selected WBS Element
    OR
    2. If he is authorized to access the Profit center Hierarchy Node which is the parent of the selected WBS Element.
I think this may be achieved by using a Customer exit in the Analysis authorization but i don't know how.
Do you have any idea, whether it is possible to achieve in BI7 Security Model? Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Rajat

    Hi Tomer,
There will be a selection variable for WBS in all BW reports. If the user selects a particular WBS Element then he can only see the result of the report if he fulfill EITHER of the following conditions:
    1. If he is the WBS Manager of the selected WBS Element
    OR
    2. If he is authorized to access the Profit center Hierarchy Node which is the parent of the selected WBS Element.
WBS managers will keep on changing so it is not possible to maintain the users in one role.
Secondly, according to the second condition, even if the user is not WBS Manager but he is authorized to access Profit center Hierarchy Node, which is the parent of the selected WBS Element, he should view the report.
Please let me know if don't understand the question.
    Thanks
    Rajat

  • Transfer material type DIEN in ECC system to CRM product type Service

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to transfer material type DIEN in ECC system to CRM product type Service.
    How can we do this?

    Hi Viswanath,
I dont think its possible to replicate material type DIEN from ECC to CRM Service Product.
Service Products need to created in CRM, from here transfer to ERP. To transfer service product from CRM to ECC, you need to enable upload for Service Product in SPRO.
           Customer Relationship Management -->
                 Master Data -->
                        Products -->
                            Settings for Product Type -->
Allow Upload for a Product Type.
Now here select the check box for product type 02(service).
To send product from CRM to ECC, open the product you need to send it to ECC in COMMPR01.
Go To -> Transfer to ERP. Here give the ECCRFC Destination and mapping material type.
