Hi Experts,
In our project we have created some ECC Reports. The names of report are
Application Report
BEE Report
Cost Center Report
Cost Center YTD Report
Material Analysis - MC.9
Purchase Orders By Vendor
Total Cash Flow Per Month Report
We have to write some thing about ECC Reports. We don't have to write any thing about the specific report. We have to write some thing in general about ECC Report.
Keeping this in view, can you please let me know, what is ECC Report? Why we need ECC Report.

BI: Virtual Provider for ECC Report with same selection parameters

Dear all,
I have attached screen shot of ECC report selection screen with contain Material, Plant and Dates. As report is bit complex and I need to use just ITAB (internal table) of it for further use in BEx Query and for Dashboard purposes.
Problem: I need to call this report by creating Virtual Provider in BI so that I get data from ECC at runtime as it is shares report so I can't able to save any data in transparent table as report calculated opening balances at runtime.
It is possible for me by using function module i can get itab by submit return and then create Data Source for it ?
As i make copy of FM ZZRSAX_BIW_GET_SIMPLE i cannot use submit there due to OPEN CURSOR mechanism there.
Kindly anyone suggest how it is possible to call report with same selection parameters for creation of virtual provider.
Please mention if i miss any point in explaining problem.

Can't export from ECC report to Excel 2010 with more than 65 K Rows

I see several posts about Excel 2007 and the 65K row limitation, but we are rolling out Office 2010 (Excel 2010) and find that it still will not allow download of more than 65,000 from an ECC report screen.
Excel 2010 is supposed to handle over a million rows, and user is receiving an error message that they can not do this.
Will SAP allow download to Excel 2010 of more than 65K rows?
Are there Excel settings, or GUI levels / settings we have to have ?

Details from the end User:
When you export line items from any detailed line item transaction in SAP that supports exporting to an excel format, SAP will only allow you to export 65K+ lines, equal to the number of line items that were available in the Excel 2003 format. If you have more than that many line, you have to download the file as u201Cunconverted.u201D While you can then open the u201Cunconvertedu201D file in excel, it is not properly formatted correctly, and may contain page headers and footers that need to be deleted. In Office 2007/2010, excel was extended to 1 million+ line items. When will SAP excel integration be upgraded to expand beyond the old 65K limit on number of exportable line items in excel format?
For example, transaction FBL3N is used to display line items in GL accounts. Line items are routinely exported for further analysis in Finance. GL accounts often have more than 65K line items. When you try to export these results to a spreadsheet format, you will get a message that the list is too large to be exported. However, if you select the unconverted format, you will be able to export the file. Here is an example: (Note that this is only one example with one transaction, there are many more SAP transactions that have this same issue.)
From the Menu, she if following the path List --> Export --> Spreadsheet
Receives the pop-up box entitiled: "Export List object to XXL", with words, "An XXL list object is exported with 71993 lines and 20 columns.   Choose a processing mode". Radio button choices of Table or Ptivot Table. She chose Table.
Then receives a message that (at the bttom of the page), List Object is too Large to be Exported.   Help says this is message PC020. But offers no further information.

To see in a ECC report the PO's created against a MM contract

Hello,
extract records from table EKPO where field "Purchase Requisition" (EKPO-BANKF) is blank. Otherwise you can run transaction ME2N, follow the menu path "Edit --> Dynamic Selecyions", and choose the filed "Purchase Requisition" among "Purchasing Document Item" folder, then the field will show up and you can use as selection criteria "Purchase Requisition" = blank.

for one of my BI report reconciliation with ECC requirement, I would like to know how many POs are there without Purchase requisitions, same way want to know how many POs are there with Purchase requisition.
I know some tables where we can find this info, unfortunately I cannot ask my user to go and check in Tables for Acceptance testing. So I am looking for any standard ECC report with POs and PRs as Columns
Due to time constraints, I cannot go build any ABAP queries in ECC at the moment,

ECC report that display PO and Purchase requisitions as list

Hi there,

Based on experience, there is no 1 standard report which shows the document trail/correspondence between PRs and PO.
What we normally do is create a custom report (via ABAP query or programming) to address this need.

Custom ECC reports

Hi All,
I have a transaction to run a Custom ECC report in ECC.I have to get the same kind of report in BI.
Now,how do I find the logic behind this custom ECC report.(ex.. how the dollar amounts are calculated for Orders). If I do F1help on each field ,i get message saying no documentation available.
Are there any other simple ways of finding the logic other than SQL trace?

my problem is on the parameter/s.options translation. (example: P_WERKS in IT language is correctly display as 'Divisione', but in ES language and only in a custom report is display as 'P_WERKS'. the same parameter, with the same reference to DDIC table, in a standard program is correctly display)!?
Note: in my programs all parameters have selected the flag 'Dictionary ref.'...
Please help me in order to find a massive re-generation program....

Integrating ECC reports with BW reports in the Portal

Greetings experts!
How, if at all, can one integrate BW reports that are in BW Roles in the portal (i.e. an enduser runs reports using the "new analysis" button in the portal via the 0analysis_pattern template) with ECC reports in the portal?
Requirement:
End users are looking for one location to go for all their reporting needs (ECC and BW) in the portal.
BW developers wish to continue the deployment and management of reports via the BW roles that reside in BW and stay away from creating an iview for every BW report.
Is this possible? thanks in advance for all your responses.

I am not sure how your ECC reports display in the Portal however I assume they are associated with an ECC Role.
You do not need to create an iview for each BW report. Upload your roles into the Portal under System Administration > Transport > Role Upload.
Each role in your ABAP (BW) role will be created in an assoicated Portal Role.
These roles will display in the Top Level Navigation, as do all roles that have been assigned to a user. The Reports of the Roles then display in the Detailed Navigation frame in the portal, once the role has been selected in the Top Level Navigation.
In this way your users go to one place, the portal to execute reports.

Open ECC report in Crystal Reports

Hi,
Question, hope you have some info on this...
I want to try & open a custom report which is built in an ECC system (report is currently run as a "Yxxx" transaction) in Crystal Reports. Purpose is to further edit and format the report using Crystal Reports functions.
Does anyone know what path to follow here? Do I have to set up a new connection for the given source system?

Ps. I have Crystal Reports 2008 and also the BI Integration Kit (not sure if this is used / required).

There are transports that the SAP Integration Kit delivered. you may have already installed this on your BW, but they would need to be installed on ECC if you want to query there. Once these are installed, Crystal should be able to see an SAP - Table, Cluster, Function Data Connection allowing you to connect to your ECC.
You should review the SAP Integration Kit doc - it spells out authorizations required, how to handle security, etc.

Report-Report Interface ECC Reports

Dear all,
I'm making a report using report painter (TCode GRR2) and now I need to drill-down to the documents. I think that I can build it via report-report interface.
So, have I to use RSBBS tcode to built it? In fact, I need to built a drill-down to a ECC table, Is the process the same?
Could anybody explain me steps to follow to built it? thanks in advance.

You assign drill-down report at report group level (GR52).
Report/Report interface > Configure, use the "insert row" icon to assign reports.

Access ECC report in CRM

I have got a requirement where-in I have to access some standard reports in ECC from SAP CRM 2007.

Hi ,
The only possible solution that i can see here is to create your own FM in ECC and call the standard report fom there and store the values in the tables parameter in the FM.
FM should be RFC one but of course.
I dont know whether you would have auth. to do any development in ECC or not.
Else if any exit is there in that Report then you can SET parameter from there and retrieve the value by GET parameter here in CRM.
I have never tried like this but hope it would work.

ECC Report showing Outline Agreements WITH related Release Orders

Does anyone know of a report in ECC which will display all Outline Agreements together with all the Related Release Orders associated with each Agreement Number?
I have trawled through hundreds of SAP transaction codes and cannot find something that will give this information - I can use ME3N of course, but ideally my Users want to be able to search on ALL Outline Agreements and see the associated release orders
If anyone is able to help it would save me a headache!

You can get Goods Movement from MSEG Tables. Why do you need Goods Movement in Sales Flow?
While Creating Every Document in SAP R/3, we will put reference Document and Item.
While Creating Sales Document, Customer PO is reference Document.
For Delivery, we can create againest Sales Document or Invoice etc.
For Invoice, either Delivery or Sales Document.
Pull all the Data Sales, Delivery, Billing and Shipping with Reference Documents into ODS.
You need to create a Infoset on these ODS.

Integration with mySAP.com components -> Business Packages/Functional Packages -> MSS (mySAP ERP) -> Reporting -> Set Up Launch Pad.
go to change mode
1. Click on top most folder . on the app tool bar. click on the button which says new folder. For eg say employee data. save
2. click on the folder in the eg - employee data. Now click on new application icon on the application tool bar. your new application is the report that you want to add.
3. you have various options in the application category - choose transaction. Enter the transaction name of the report. fill the link text etc.
You will have to play with this config and you will get it.
