I am a new user to itunes. Yesterday I put my itunes gift card pin number in the redeem box. then I followed the on screen instructions. after I put in my name and address a box appeared saying "We are unable to complete your registration at this time please try again later".
I try to do the whole registration again from the beginning.
I tried to put in my itunes gift card pin number again a message appeared saying "this gift card was already redeemed". I would like to know, How can I access my $25 gift card?

Buy an iTunes card from any retailer in your town that sells them and redeem it.

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
      tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
      "done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
      Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
      should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
      security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
      selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
      should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
      questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

I got two iTune gift cards for a gift, but when i try to redeem them, they say that an error has occurred. i havent used them before. what should i do ?

I've recived two iTunes gift cards for the holidays from a family friend in the mail.
When i got the cards i scratched it off, to get my pin number. When i put my pin number into my phone / laptop.. both of the cards said that there was an error with the card.. which i dont understand since they were new. I dont know how much money was on it all i recied were the 2 cards.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

Sorry, but it's quite possible that you can't. If there's an Apple Store in the country to which you want to give the gift, you can call them ask ask if they'll accept a Canadian credit card for a gift card purchase to be shipped to an address in the relative's country. If they won't, then you'd have to find an independent reseller in that country that carries iTunes gift cards who could accept your credit card, and there may be none.

How do you use an iTunes gift card for in-app purchases?

My kids received iTunes gift cards for christmas and want to use the $$ towards in-app purchases in Clash of Clans. We've already redeemed the cards to their iTunes accounts. Now they want to use them within the app.
How do they do this? If they try to purchase something it seems to just go against a credit card, and not give them the option to use the iTunes credit.

Purchases are always deducted from the credits first. Look at the menu bar at the top for remaining credit. My credit is $23.59.

What you have read is correct; gift cards are country specific. So only if iTunes cards are issued in Vietnam, and if they are if you can find a retailer there that sells such cards and would accept an out-of-country credit card, would you be able to purchase a gift card for your brother. The same would apply to any other country.
