Accessing the Notes section in Extras

Hope someone might be able to help with this - I've checked back 20 pages in the forum, but can't find anyone with a similar question.
I've just upgraded from a 3rd Gen to a 5th Gen iPod, and for the most part it's working beautifully. However, on my old 'pod, I used to be able to drag and drop text files into it (after converting them to eBooks via Daniel Duris' iPod Notes converter - http://www.ambience.sk/ipod-ebook-creator/ipod-book-notes-text-conversion.php).
My new 'pod won't recognise the converted files. Every time I drag and drop it says '"[File Name]" was not copied to the iPod "[iPod Name]" because it cannot be played on this iPod.' I've also tried dragging the text files over in their original format, but I get the same message.
The "enable disk use" field is ticked, but inactive (grey rather than black text, and I can't de-select the button). I also have it set to manually managing music (because my iTunes library has nearly twice as much data as my new 'pod will hold).
Is there something I need to do to make the Notes capability work? Or is it just there for show these days?

To be honest, I'm not sure how the 3g worked with notes. With the 5g you pretty much just drag and drop into the notes folder.

Then the website's screen kicked me out the door.
A few days later I accessed the main page of this website with no problem.
I can read the information on the main web page pertaining to items I need to purchase, etc., with no problems.
I click and maneuver from on one tab to another from the main page within this website with no issues.
When I click on the "SHOP section(tab)" within this website to complete my purchase.
Part of this website an error occurs on this "SHOP tab".
"Safari can't connect to the server".
Safari can't open the page "https://and the name of this website" because Safari can't connect to the server "www.the name of this website".
I click on the reload from the view of the toolbar and I can't access this website's "Shop section(tab) at all.
I e-mailed the webmaster of this website a few times, but no response.
In the past I was able to access the "Shop section(tab") within this website many times to purchase items with no issues.
Now I am at my wits end as I really need to complete my purchase from this website.
I cannot purchase these items from other websites. Only this website. Good Grief( :

You can try basic steps like these in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and only cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

I find it's touchy. Tap anywhere on the note to bring up the keyboard. If you tap and hold, you won't bring up the keyboard. Just tap momentarily.
If you can't get it to work, try restarting your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If it still doesn't work, try resetting your iPad. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I have a "Contact" organization issue I need help with. I organize multiple customers under their account affiliation. I place the people with their contact info under each account name by their dept/role in the notes section of their account. I am looking to be able to directly dial / email from this info in yet notes section located within a contact. On Blackberry, the notes area entered in a contact can connect directly but on the iPhone those numbers/emails are inactive. I am trying to avoid having to create each of these individuals as a separate contact and keep them under their account affiliation. It is easier to find them. This does not seem like that complicated of a request and hoping someone can tell me how or share an app that will enable the "notes" within a contact be "active". Hope this makes sense.

I seem to recall that this question has been asked before and I'm pretty sure that the answer is that you can't do what you want to do with the native contact app. However, there are lots of contact apps out there that pull from the built app's data but have other features. Perhaps one of them would meet your needs.

On your iPhone, go the settings app. Then select Mail, Contacts, Calendars on the left column. On the right column under Accounts select your Yahoo mail account. A popup with show up and then you have to turn the the Notes switch to the off position.

After the ios7 update I am not able to scroll in the notes section in reminder? Any suggestions?

Prior to the update I was able to use the notes section in the Reminders program. When I would type a lot of material the box would automatically scroll as I would type. Now, it stops scrolling and I can't see what I type.

Thanks! I forgot to add, I have debonded and rebonded the bluetooth in car and phone and have carried out 3 restores on the phone in my ITunes. All to no avail. I have also jsut spent £40 on a lead from Ford that has made no difference too! I went to them today to request a software upgrade on my car as I though perhaps the lack of connectivity in the car was down to the car being behind the iOS5 software but was informed there was no need for an upgrade and this problem is purely an apple problem! Is there any way around the downgrade? Or are apple gong to resolve this problem at all??

Contacts. The Note section has been lost.

I had a contact listing called "Passwords", where in the Note section, I had all of my crutial ID and Passwords.
I used it as late as a few days ago, but this morning when I signed on, the Contact "Passwords" was there, but the note section was blank!
How can I go back to an earlier backup to try and recover them?

If I do recover it, how can I "LOCK" a contact that prevents it from being changed without a few steps involved?

Transferred a Contact from my iPhone 5S/ios7 to my iPad Air. Successfully transferred the Contact including all ph numbers, email addresses, and street addresses. But -- it did NOT transfer all the text in the "Notes" section of the original Contact. Why? Some of my Contacts also have a photo in the same Notes Section. I don't want to sync the devices via the cloud because I just want selected Contacts. Sharing via email does the same thing - no Notes. Only way I've found is to Sync with Outlook Contacts on my Windows XP and Windows7 PCs.

So far it appears Microsoft's Outlook program is the only contact manager capable of "Forwarding" a Contact record that is all inclusive of all the data in the Contact including the Notes data.
While some may use the Notes field to store "secret or confidential" information...I've used it to store more mundane Notes that are not NOT confidential or sensitive in any way. Moreover....only want to "Share" (Microsoft calls it "Forward") with my own multiple devices. The "Notes" data might include a picture, another type of image, a map, a URL, etc. I and the rest of the MS Windows user world began building Contacts in Outlook so long ago it is not practical to switch to iOS-based personal info management software unless it allows complete conversions or "Sharing" as Apple calls it.
Microsoft figured this out years ago by allowing the user to choose whether to include Notes or not when "Forwarding" any individual Outlook Contact Record. It sounds like we need Microsoft Outlook for iOS like we have MS Outlook for MAC. With thousands of Contacts in MS Outlook 2010 I can't do without the Notes data in my files. And it isn't practical to use a syncing function when I only need 10-20% of my overall contacts on some of my iOS devices.

How does one back up items which have been entered in the notes program found under the general heading programs found in the start menu?

And I'm a lazy so and so so click-click-done suits me down to the ground. And gives me one extra layer of data redundancy (if that's the right word).
Having another backup option is always nice, though it's disappointing that you have to set up multiple concurrent uploads to use all the Infinity speed.

I can't access the "notes" on my Ipod Touch

I can't access my "notes" on my ipod, which is a fourth generation.
What happened, while deleting some notes, one came back up but as a blank note. when opening, it was still blank so I tries deleting it, but to no avail. So, I tried to delete it again, and the ipod shut itself out of "notes" on it's own. I've shut down the ipod several times and restarted it, but each time I try to reopen "notes" it shuts out of it immediately.
I don't want to restart my ipod because there are new notes that I haven't been able to sync to my apple account yet, and I'd rather not lose them.
If there is any other way to fix this, please let me know. I really need someone's help!!

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
