Account suspended, restarted.  Owe for the month of no service?

My account was suspended for non payment (error on my part) from Nov 11th through Dec 11th.  I just waited for auto pay to cycle through for the next scheduled payment.   Now my new bill shows me as owing the full monthly amount for the 30 days when I had no service.   Is that standard?  First time I've had a suspension.  Thanks.

I apologize for the confusion with your bill. Your monthly bill is billed a month in advance and when  an account is suspended for non-payment a credit is applied to the bill for the days service was not active within the bill cycle. Once service is restored, you will be billed from that day to the end of the bill cycle and a month in advance. I will attempt to illustrate an example in an attempt to further clarify the bill.
Example, before service is suspended:  November Bill
                Bill Cycle Date: 10/03/11-11/02/11 (31 Days)
                Amount Due: $100.00 (11/03/11-12/02/11) Month in Advance
                Due Date: 11/28/11
Let's say the service was suspended on 10/11/11 (total of 23 days suspended between (10/11/11-11/02/11) and no payment was made on 11/28/11
You will not be billed between 10/11/11- 11/11/11 on theDecember Bill 
Here's how its calculated:
                Monthly Charges: $25.71, which equates to $3.23/per day ($100 divided by 31 days in the bill cycle)
                Service: Suspended 23 days/ active 8 days. 8 days @$3.23/day  =$25.71
Example, after service restored: December Bill 
               Bill Cycle Date:11/03/11-12/02/2011
               Amount Due:$200
                     Here's how it's calculated:
                           $25.71  10/03/11 - 10/11/11 
                           $74.19  11/11/11 - 12/02/11(Service Restored)
                           $100     12/03/11-01/02/2012 (Month in advance)
               Due Date: 12/28/2011

    You need to check if you really the report Plant wise and if yes, then check if the Accounting Transactions are maintained at Plant Level in your source system i.e. in R3.
    Ideally it should be Business area or Functional Area or Controlling area which are maintained in Accounting Transactions. You will also the relevant details for these Characterisitics + Profit Center in the NEW GL Accounting data sources.

    Hi Georgiapat465, welcome to the HP Forums. If you want the Month To Date statistics of your Instant Ink usage, you can log into your account on hpconnected.com and go to the services tab, and then find Instant Ink there. That page will show you on screen your usage.

I need to cancel the $14.99 monthly charge and be refunded the $14.99 charges since I paid the annual fee. The $14.99 is a duplicate charge as I only have one form.   • Anyone else getting a message that they have almost used all of their data for the month?

    We just got a message saying that we have used 90% of our data for the month and we are only 10 days into the billing cycle. I looked at our account on line and it says that we aren't even close to using our total data for the month. When does all of the stupid stuff stop? When I switched to Verizon 10 years ago, they were great. Great customer service, great plans, etc. Now that has gone away. The 4G service is an absolute joke. Where I used to have great service, there literally is none, and the phone won't even switch to 3G if it is in a bad area. I travel through a major city every day and I am amazed at how crappy the service is.
    Now I'm getting messages that aren't even correct??? I have a lot of lines on my account and I don't want to go elsewhere, especially since I live in the country and Verizon is the only way to get decent internet service, but this is getting rediculous. I guess listening to the customers doesn't matter anymore as long as they get their money.

    When you sign in to https://creative.adobe.com and check your account info (click the upper right), does it say you're still active? Sounds like something got borked in the CC app and/or PS CC.

  • When do I get credit for the month of service I had to purchase with my phone upgrade?

    I have been a Verizon wireless customer for years.  I upgraded my phone last month on 10/18 on the Verizon website.  During checkout for my new phone, the cost for my plan for one month was added to the checkout total.  I paid it assuming I would see a credit for this on my next month's bill, but I received my next month's bill with a billing date of 10/28/2013 and it was the normal monthly bill I always get.  When I look at my bill online, it is also the normal monthly bill with no credits.  When do I get credit back for the month I paid for during the phone purchase?

    Once you activate your device, you are moved to the plan that you selected online during your order transaction. Plan changes during your billing cycle, will create partial and prorated charges on your next bill.
    Proration is an adjustment that is made to your bill when you make a change to your account in the middle of your billing cycle. When proration occurs, this is what you're going to see on your bill:
      • A credit for the portion of your monthly access charge that was billed in advance on the previous number from today's date through the end of the current bill cycle.
      • A charge for the portion of the monthly access for the new number from today's date through the end of the current bill cycle.
      • A charge for the monthly access for the new number for the next month.

  • Re-run depreciation for the month after creating new asset

    Hi Experts,
    I have run depreciation for 01.2009. I then created an asset with start life and acquisition posting date as 01.01.2009.
    In the asset's planned depreciation, the first planned depreciation period is 02. But the requirement is to re-run depreciation for the month and include the new asset in the run.
    Is this possible? How?

    When you have run the depreciation for period 01 and you create a new asset where the depreciation starts in period 01 you see that the planned depreciation (period 01 and 02) will be posted in period 02
    It is possible to do the repeat run and then it will be posted in period 01, you will see this then back in period 01 as posted depreciation.
    You can run this as test run and for only 1 asset!
