What permission does the Service account requires on AD for the Workflow manager 1.0 to be configured in SharePoint Farm?

What permission does the Service account requires on AD for the Workflow manager 1.0 to be configured in SharePoint Farm?
The workflow manager configuration wizard crashes with the below error when used a domain account (setup account with full prvilige on sql and server). It requires some specific permissions on AD ? I couldnt see any documentation stating what permission
it requires.
Can anyone help ?

When I try to start Windows installer in Services.msc, it gives me this error Error 1297 A privilege that the service requires to function properly does not exist in the service account configuration. How do I fix this? I am running Windows 7 ultimate.

    Hi,
Based on the error code, we can use the Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in (services.msc) and the Local Security Settings MMC snap-in (secpol.msc) to view
the service configuration and the account configuration for Windows Installer service.
Besides, the following two threads focus on the similar issue and can be referred to as reference.

  • What is the effect of the service account permissions

    Hi,
What is the effect of the service account permissions? For example, suppose the service account for SQL Server database engine is SomeDomain\A, and has no permission to execute stored procedure X, and a user with domain account SomeDomain\B does have the
said permission. Which one will prevail, i.e. can the user execute stored procedure X? If so, what permissions must I give the service account SomeDomain\A?
I am asking this in the context of planning deployment in the production environment of a data warehouse application.
    Cheers,
    Jerome
    Jerome Smith BI Consultant, MCP

    Hi Jerome,
Service account for SQL Server Database Engine only have limited permissions. To grant the account permission to execute stored procedure X, please refer to the following
    query:
    USE database;
    GRANT EXECUTE ON OBJECT::dbo.X
    TO SomeDomain\A;
    GO
Since the user is in the context of planning deployment in the production environment of a data warehouse application, we may need to add some additional permissions. For more details, please refer to the following blog:

My iPhone 4s was stolen this weekend and I did the Remote Lock.  What exactly does that do?  Also, if i do the Remote Wipe will that erase all of my data and impede anyone from ever using the phone?

The remote lock locks the iphone with a passcode that you set. By remote wiping the device it will simply restore it and clear it of all its data, but by doing this it will prevent you tracking it and communicating with it (e.g. remote locking it) in the future

  • When I first bought it, it was meant to use all the services provided by Great Apple including the new LTE service as a main service for such device. Now I just realize that such service does not match with the model I have ... Pease advise ..

    Greetings,
I hope this email finds you well. I bought my iPhone on December 1st, 2012 with a track order W459517623. When I first bought it, it was meant to use all the services provided by Great Apple including the new LTE service as a main service for such device. Now I just realize that such service does not match with the model I have, as per this link:
    http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/
    Model A1429
    (GSM model)
                                                                  Saudi Arabia - Mobily
The model Apple sent is A1428
I believe that such service should be provided to my devices too. Also, Apple always find best ways to solve such queries.
    Please advise me
    Thank you and Regards,
    Abdulrahman

I'm assuming you bought it via the Apple Online store. Contact them. Use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. Did you buy the phone from the store in the country you intend to USE the iPhone? If you bought the phone in the US store and intend to use it OUTSIDE the US, you only have yourself to blame, as they shipped the CORRECT phone for use in the US.

To begin, what ADA-compliant options are available to work with a service representative? Good question, and one that I don't know the answer to.  Does anything on this page help? Products & Services Overview | Verizon Wireless
    1) I was charged for service following the cancellation of my service; this includes a period following cancellation during which no service was provided.  Service is normally billed through the end of the billing cycle, whether service is provided or not.  "Cancellations will become effective on the last day of that month’s billing cycle, and you are responsible for all charges incurred until then." After working with a representative in person, I was told that my final bill would be adjusted to reflect the legally billable amount. According to their legal docs, the "leagally billable amount" is through the end of the billing cycle. This was three weeks ago and I haven't received a response, and I haven't been able to find a way to pursue a resolution - What can I do to help move this process forward?
    2) It appears I will be unable to pay my bill after this dispute has been reviewed. My phone number is no longer with Verizon. The online bill payment login requires a phone number - I have never been provided with any other account number. Unfortunately, Verizon appears to close access to online bill payment when the phone number is transferred, even to accounts with unpaid invoice amounts. How can I pay my bill online?  You cannot pay online once the account is cancelled.  You will be mailed a paper copy of the final bill, and you can mail a check, or possibly call in and pay over the phone.  But online is no longer an option once the account is cancelled.

  • What is the appropriate data expiration / eviction scheme for the following scenario

We currently have an expiration scheme through which data entries in cache-A get expired after the cache hits a certain size. The LRU entries are expired after the max threshold is reached. But the issue is that certain entries in the cache are rendered meaningless without the other entries. There is a virtual grouping of entries in this cache.
Is there an expiration scheme that can be defined through which a group of entries can be deleted in one shot, and how can this policy be enforced.
The other way i would percieve this to work is to separate the currently virtually grouped entries into their own individual caches. This seems the logical thing to do, except for the issue being that we would still like to keep all these caches in the same service, and have an eviction policy defined at the service level instead of at the cache level.
Is it possible to define an eviction policy at the service level, for example to satisfy the below scenario.
Service-A has 10 caches in it [cache-1, cache-2, ....., cache-10]. And there is a limit of 10GB defined on the service. So, if the total utilization of all the caches in Service-A reaches 10GB, an entire cache from amongst [cache-1, cache-2, ....., cache-10] will need to be cleared and the memory be made available. Which one of the caches to be cleared will depend on which cache satisfies the LRU condition. So, maybe the entire cache-5 should be deleted if the entries in this cache was the oldest used.
Please let me know if the above scenario can be implemented.
    Thanks

    Ricardo,
I had similar business scenario in my earlier project and the expectations were almost same.
I created one consolidation area (legal consolidation) under one single data basis and assigned business area as sub-assignment. All the consolidation functions are executed by the business users based on legal cons requirements purpose, while the reports can be generated for both legal and management consolidation.
In management consolidation reporting, your expectations can be met easily. The header will be business area, while line item data will be companies wise (if you would like the data to display that way).

  • The connection was denied because the user account is not authorized for remote login

Using Terminal Server 2008 not able to get non administrator users to login to the remote desktop. Have tried from Windows server 2008 and from Windows servers 2003. Get error login in "The connection was denied because the user account is not authorized for remote login" from Windows Server 2008. Error "The requested session access is denied" from Windows Server 2000.

Is that seriously the only way to do this? Doesn't this render the "Allow log on through Terminal Services" GP Setting useless?
I would like to know this answer, as well.  I have created a new AD group for my assistant admins called "Domain Admins (limited)".  I have added this group to the GP setting "Allow log on through Terminal Services", but the
assistant admins cannot log in through RDP.  It 'feels like' this is all I would need to do.

    Found some good info
here. There are really two things required for a user to connect to a server via RDP. You can configure one of them via Group Policy but not the other.
    1) Allow log on through Terminal Services can be configured through Group Policy, no problem.
    2) Permissions on the RDP-listener must also be granted.  If your user is a member of the local Administrators group or the local Remote Desktop Users group then this is handled.  If you are trying to utilize a new, custom group (as I am),
then there isn't a way to do this via group policy (that I have found).
EDIT: Found the answer.  I am creating a blog post to outline the steps.  They aren't hard, but they're not self-explanatory.  It deals with the Restricted Groups mentioned above, but it's still automate-able using Group Policy so that you
don't have to touch each computer.  I think the above poster (Andrey Ganev) got it right, but
I had trouble deciphering his instructions.
Here is my blog post that walks through this entire process, step-by-step.

We are trying to close caption our telecasts. We get the captioning files done out of house, pull them back into Premiere, and then embed them. The TV station requires .mxf files with the file embedded as a 708 stream, to play on their Grass Valley K2 video servers. We have tried multiple scenarios and cannot get the captions to display.
Whenever I export, it becomes a 608 stream, and will not play on their servers.

    Hello there,
I'm sorry to hear you are having a problem. Thank you for taking the time to post here.
    Here are some questions:
    1. What version of PPRO are you using? MAC or WIN?
    2. Is the caption data you are embedding a 708 caption stream?
    3. When you re-import the MXF with captioning embedded back into PPRO, does it show 708 closed captions in PPRO?
PPRO will embed 708 caption streams to MXF -- I just did this, re-imported the embedded MXF to PPRO, and I see the captions in the MXF.
If you could share one of your files with me, I could take a look.
    Take care and thanks again,
    CM

What happened bo my adobe account? I paid for lifetime membership some time ago?

    Hi Rose,
I've checked your account; you have an active subscription to ExportPDF (tied to the same Adobe ID/email address that you use here in the forums).
What account are you looking for? Adobe doesn't offer "lifetime" membership, but does offer subscriptions that are billed monthly or annually until you cancel.

    4. Click on Microsoft Online Services

  • The vendor account is not associated with the file you are trying to open. Please try again.

Please help me to understand what is the problem with the set up of the program. I bought an ebook from an internet site to which my IP address was blocked (in country 1). My brother bought it on a computer in country 2  and wanted to download and send me the file so I can open it on my computer. He set up initial download without Adobe ID. Afterwards he downloaded the pdf and send it to me. I tried to upload it  with my ADE reader but it didn't work without ID. My brother then deleted afterwards his ADE and installed it again, downloaded the ebook again but this time setting up an ID. He transferred me the file ,I used the same ID  but then the following message appeared "The vendor account is not associated with the file you are trying to open. Please try again." . Can this be fixed somehow? I cannot open the URLLinks even as there is no connection from my IP , but I have the pdf file ( ebook) but I don't know how to set up the program.

Sorry Everyone this error message appeared in Digital Editions 4 used on a windows 8 laptop.  Thanks Chris
