Accounting Determination -FKFR  function is missing

When I created the accounting document it doesn't release the accounting
document to Finance and it comes up with the message -
For object RF_BELEG YASH, number range interval 01 does not exist FBN1
Message no. NR751
Diagnosis
The database table NRIV has the delivery class 'C', i.e. the SAP default settings are only in client 000.
Procedure
Create the missing number range interval in customizing.
Transaction code: FBN1
When you create the number range, it then comes up with the message
Requested function FKFR is not available here
Any help what might be causing this?  I could not figure out as I have done the account determination in VKOA.
Regards,
Jans

Hi,
For creating an accounting document, U need to have number range for specific fiscal year and for that specific company code.
So, go to T. code SNRO, give object name as RF_BELEG.
go to change mode. U have number range icon in the menu bar, create a number range for particular company code and save.
Now go to VF01, and release billing document to accounting.

  • Dual "Define Account Determination" under SAP Banking ??

    Hi, all
There are two "Define Account Determination" transaction under IMG SAP Banking:
    1) SAP Banking -> Loans Management -> Transaction Management -> Update Types -> Define Account Determination, which is the same as the one under FSCM/Treasury and Risk Management.
    2) SAP Banking -> Loans Management -> Functions -> Accounting -> General Ledger Update -> Define Account Determination
By trial and error, it seems that the later one should be used in Loans Management. Could anyone tell me under which conditions should the former one be used?
    Thanks.

We use product types under both SAP Banking->Loans and FSCM/Treasury and Risk, but I never realized that the Account determination for FSCM was included in the IMG path for SAP Banking->Loans....  When I learned Loans configuration, I was pointed in the direction of the Account determination under Functions, and never noticed it elsewhere.
I poked around the IMG a little and it looks like you would use the Account Determination under Update Types if you set up your Loans for parrallel valuation - that is if you need to maintain multiple valuations for Loans.  It appears the Account Determination under Update Types appears to be needed for the postings to the parrallel valuation areas.
We don't use parrallel valuation for Loans, so that would be another reason I've not needed the Account Determination under Update Types.
From what I'm seeing in the IMG, I would say that if you only need one valuation for Loans, like we do, then you shouldn't need the Account determination under Update Types - just the one under Functions.

  • 'Missing consumption account determination' Error -Automatic PR

    Hi Colleagues
I hope someone can shed some light on this issue for me.
I have configured a specific process for auto PR, i.e. when we create a SO and enter the item qty, a "create purchase requisition" appears (ME51).
I always get an error message re.: missing consumption account determination. I have checked  the settings in OBYC and everything looks allright.
In the transaction ME51 itself, the same error occurs but a pop up screen appears with the option of entering a G/L account. However, while creating the SO it does not behave in the same way.
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Account determination ID missing in master data contract account (FI-CA)

    Hello,
I have a problem with the account determination ID in FI-CA (for public sector).
What I try to do is when I do a posting, SAP has to pick up the correct general ledger account based on the account determination ID I specified.
I have already found this for the contract, but I am trying to do the same thing on a higher level, contract account. I have also found where I can create a new one in customizing for contract account, but I can't seem to find the field in the master data of the contract account where I can select the account determination ID I created.
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Best regards,

    Hello Moh,<br />
Account Determination field is there on the <b>"General Data"</b> tab of the Contract Account Display/Create screen. You can Create or Display Contract Account using Txn <b>CAA1</b> and <b>CAA3</b> respectively.<br />
    <br />
Remember that Account Determination ID is available in FICA but not in the FSCD ( Insurance version of FICA). So I hope you are not in FSCD as you are not able to spot this field.<br />

  • "Error in account determination:Table T030K key MWS"

    Hello Gurus,
I would greatly appreciate some help on the following issues. The issue relates to tax on sales & purchases. The client charges a state tax for residents of certain states. In FTXP, I have used TAXUSJ and also tax code O1 (A/R Sales Tax, taxable). I have also put the state that charges the tax in the Tax Jurisdiction field in FTXP. In MW1 (Accrued: A/R Sales Tax 1) I have 6.500% for the state.
On the SD side, the consultant is using the Acct Key of MWS for the Condition type UTX1 (hope that makes sense).
When I try to release the billing document to accounting I get the following error:
    <b>Error in account determination:Table T030K key MWS</b>
    <b>Message no. FF709</b>
    <b>Diagnosis</b>
In the chart of accounts to be posted to, no accounts are defined for the tax code you used.
    <b>Procedure</b>
Contact your system administrator. Define the accounts to which a tax posting is to be made with the tax code entered in Customizing for taxes on sales/purchases. To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
I went to OBYZ, double clicked on PROCEDURES, then selected TAXUSJ and double clicked on CONTROL. Once inside, I then <u>changed the account key for condition type JR1 from MW1 to MWS  and saved it.</u>
But when I went back to release the billing document to accounting, I now get a new error:
<b>System error in routine FI_TAX_GET_TXJCD_LEVELS error code 2 function builder TAX2</b>Message no. FF769
    <b>Diagnosis</b>
A serious program error has occurred.
    <b>System Response</b>
The current processing step cannot be carried out.
    <b>Procedure</b>
    If the program error occurred
    - In a standard SAP program, then create an OSS message
    - In a program you wrote yourself, then correct the program.
I went back and changed MWS back to MW1 but still get this new error. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi United99
To tell u in layman words, u r missing in Account determinatin. Tax determination is almost same as Pricing Procidur in SD for which we assign GL accounts to transaction key. As there are ERL, ERF, keys u have MWS (Output Tax)key assigned to Tax procidure TAXUS (check this at defining tax procidre.
Now we assign GL accounts to this Transaction key MWS as OB40. U assign GL account at OB40. Your issue will be resolved. But..
MWS is default Key, i suggest not to distrub it but copy it and assign it to your procidure and to this key assig GL account at OB40.

  • Issue with GL account determination of House Bank

    Hello everybody,
we have small hiccup with gl account determination for house bank while doing FBWE (bill of exchange) transaction.
I have configured the house bank and created a sub account for factoring and assigned values for G/L and Discount acct using FI12.
Even linking of these to g/l's has been done in FS00. We were expecting the g/l to be pickedup automatically, whenever the housebank and account id are given in transaction.
However, when we are doing FBWE transaction for COLLECTION, the posted document shows another g/l which i find as COLLECTION ACCOUNT in table T012K-WIKON(Subaccount for bill of exchange collection  - House Bank Accounts), though i am sure that i didnt assign this account anywhere in FI12 ( i couldnt see a place to attach it).
Can anybody guide me, how the <b>Subaccount for bill of exchange gets attached to a house bank and Account ID</b>? or where i might have gone wrong?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,

    Thank you very much Dominik.
Indeed, entries are missing in  OBYK for the account i was having trouble.  Let me check with my functional guy to know what information needs to be maintained here.

  • Account determination - loan taken

    Dear expert,
Currently Iu2019m testing transaction FNM1 for loan given. But I hit an error u2013 u2018No posting details maintained for 0101 6147 1u2019. 6147 is a new flow type I had created for interest payable. The problem is, at account determination I already set :-
    Payment transaction : X
    Posting category : 42 u2013 p/l to subledger
Debit: 40 (interest payable)/ Credit: 14 (customer account)
But why the system check my flow type as u20181u2019 because u20181u2019 is not posted to customer? I want my posting debit GL & credit to customer account.
FYI, my product type u2018posting to fiu2019already setting to u20183u2019. And also, my setting u2018Assign flow types to condition group per applicationu2019, 6147 already set as application function 100-103 with payment transaction ID u20181u2019.

  • Problem Receivable account determination, cash sales (EVV)

    Hello all,
I need work with cash sales, billing type BV, then in the BV invoice type I have the EVV in the Account key for cash allocation.
I create correctly the G/L account determination, introducing one account in the entry for the key EVV.
And another for the receivables account, for example key ERL 700000
When I save the invoice, the account determination procedure works correctly, it found the account 700000, but the FI doc is not generated....
If i delete the EVV from the BV, the determination work correctly (accoutn 700000) but the cash account is not determined because I delete the EVV.
¿why is the reason?¿why it doesn't work when the BV have the EVV? I miss some customizing?¿depend of the definition of the FI accounts?
    Best regards,
    Javier

    Hi Javier,
To begin with why you need to maintain both EVV and ERL in account determination?
The purpose of the account key in Billing document control is :-
    Account key for cash allocation
account key that causes the system to post to a G/L account rather than to a receivables account. You can enter G/L accounts for the key entered in account assignment. (Account determination can be found in Basic Functions).
    Use
You can use this to allow cash transactions to be carried out directly for the customer rather than receivables being created.
So this means that once you maintain the Account key for cash allocation,Direct entry will hit the relavant GL account rather than creating a receivable entry.
In your case you are trying to do both the things at same time.
In my view either you should maintain EVV or ERL.
Hope you will try and let me kow if it works allright

  • Config / Account Determination

    Hi,
In SPRO -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Account Assignment / Costing -> Revenue Account Determination -> Assign G/L accounts. Before the upgrade to ECC 6.0 (SP17) we had entries like
    001             Cust.Grp/Mdse Catgry/AcctKey
    002             Cust.Grp/Account Key
    003             Mdse Catgy/Acct Key
    004             General
    005             Acct Key
    905             AccountKey
    906             AcctAsgnmt/AccountKey
    907             Acct key/Ord.reason
    920             Artl group/Acct key
    Afte Upgrade we only see
    1     Cust.Grp/Mdse Catgry/AcctKey
    2     Cust.Grp/Account Key
    3     Mdse Catgy/Acct Key
    4     General
    5     Acct Key
Any idea on why this is happening? or whats missing?
    Thank You,
    Jitendra

    Hi
I think this has happened because of the upgrade to new patch level as the tables starting from
    905 AccountKey
    906 AcctAsgnmt/AccountKey
    907 Acct key/Ord.reason
    920 Artl group/Acct key
are manually created by you and the above said tables are not SAP standard that's why they might have over written when you have upgraded
If they are important for REVENUE ACCOUNT DETERMINATION create or generate those tables once again and assign them in the access sequence and do the revenu account determination

  • Cash sales using Pricing procedure for account determination cash settl

    Hi all ,
we are customizing for cash sales , we have defined all steps as per "cash account determination" in basic functions.but , system is posting again to customer account, i.e account receivable account.
if we assing "EVV" accounting key in the field "Account key for cash allocation" of billing type ( bv-cash sales),and assigning GL account for account key "EVV" in VKOA,  it is working fine.
if we want to post cash account using cash account determination pricing procedure i.e by assining pricing procedure in billing document type, it is not working. Is there any additional cusotmizing has to be done in addition to steps involved in "cash account determination of basic functions?
can any one help on this?
    regs,
    ramesh

    Hi,
    thanq for your reply.
we have used same document types mentioned by you. for the same only cash account determination given.
if we remove revenue account determination procedure, system will not post accounting document, system will give message, this billing is not relevant for accounting.
our aim is to post sale account, but instead of accounts receivables, it has to post to cash clearing account.
so, we have assigned revenue account determination procedure ( for sales posting) and cash account determination procedure ( for cash clearing posting).
you may be right, some where i missed some thing, which is not tracked by me. If you can give steps, at least I can check, same thing was customized or not.

    Anjan

    Dear Anjan,
For Tax Conditions you have to maintain Account Determination in OB40
    Go to T-Code OB40
Select the Transaction - EXD - & Double click on it...
    Mention required GL Account here...
Your problem would definitely get solved.
    Hope this helps...

  • SD tax G/L account determination

First, I am not a Finance person nor do I know a lot about tax configuration.  My background (relevant for this issue) is in S/D pricing and associated account determination.  This is an S/D tax calculation and account determination issue for the United States.
I am attempting to generate a “use” tax in an internal service order and then to populate the correct G/L account(s) with these tax values.  The service order, which is really just a sales order,  generates a statistical value for the basis and then I have pricing condition types (condition class = “D” (“taxes”), condition category = “D” (“Tax”)) specified in the pricing procedure.  These “tax” condition types are correctly calculating the tax amount.
Normally, to point to the correct G/L account for a pricing condition type, you would configure Account Determination within S/D.  The simplest form would be the usage of the account key.  The account key would be specified in the “AccKey” column and account determination configuration would point this key to the correct G/L account.
I understand (both from my own very recent experience and also from some of the information I have read on the internet) that things might be a little bit different when determining a G/L account for tax.  Originally I specified two different account keys in the pricing procedure for the tax condition types (normally I would have specified just one).  I specified MW1 through MW4 in the account key column for all 4 tax condition types and MWS in the accrual column.  My intent was to update the tax expense account from MW1 – 4 and the tax accrual account from MWS (I realize I might have this backward).
When I created a billing document, SAP would not create the accounting document.  It indicated (from my recollection) that it was missing a tax code for the G/L account for the first tax condition type (“YTX1”).  Cutting through the history, it appears that SAP needs this code to point to the correct G/L account for S/D.  I also learned that there is a tax code field in the tax condition record (VK11) where you specify this code.
I am actually familiar with the configuration and setup for use tax for A/P vendor invoices.  I had to perform this  setup very recently.  In short, I know that the tax code determines what the tax rates will be and also determines the G/L accounts.  I know how to setup a situation for tax accrual (this is setup found in tax code U1).
    My questions are the following:
    1) Is it true that I have to use the tax code to determine the G/L accounts for taxes generated in an S/D pricing procedure?  Is it possible I am doing something wrong in the S/D account determination (at the moment, not quite sure what this would have been)?
    2) Is it possible that I am adversely affecting account determination by specifying an account key in the accrual column of the pricing procedure for the tax pricing condition types?
    3) If we do have to specify a tax code in the tax pricing condition records in order to use the FI tax procedure to point to the correct G/L account, do we also specify the tax rates in this FI tax code or do we still specify them in the S/D tax pricing condition records?  It does not make sense to have to specify these rates twice.  In short, what does SAP actually use for tax calculation?
Thanks a lot – Ed Seigler

    Hello Edward,
The tax code represents a tax category which must be taken into consideration when making a tax return to the tax authorities.
Tax codes are unique per country. The tax rate calculation rules and further features are stored in a table for each tax code.
SAP supplies a tax calculation procedure for each country. The procedure comprises a list of all common tax types with rules for tax calculation.
You have to define a separate  tax on sales/purchases code for each country in which one of your company codes is located. Each code contains one or more tax rates for the different tax types.
Tax codes are actually configured in FI, but they play a significant role while creating tax condition records for a particular condition type.
Account keys in the account determination procedure connect the condition types to the relevant GL accounts. It doesnt have any impact on tax calculation. Its a procedure that is purely used to map GL accounts to the condition types.
Finally, i would suggest you to check at the condition record level, whether you have assigned the correct tax code to the appropriate condition type to rectify the error.
