Accounting document through MR21
Dear Experts,
My user just performed price changed through MR21.
My question is, why no Accounting document created after executed.
There was only 'price change document appears after checked through CKMPCD.
Please advice.

BTE while posting accounting document through MIRO

I am doing MIRO posting with PO,while MIRO posting accounting document is getting created for it. I need a BTE while posting accounting document through MIRO to trigger workflow(through event).
For direct accounting document posting I found the BTE 1030 to trigger workflow.

The BTE required is "00001120 DOCUMENT POSTING: Field substitution header/items".
Double click on this entry at FIBF transaction and you will find the function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00001120
Take a copy of this function module and go ahead.It is not possible to change the tables T_BKPF and T_BSEG. So, use the tables T_BKPFSUB and T_BSEGSUB.

POSTING G/L account documents through custom program
While posting the documents through the tcode fb01,
when I tick at PA segement button ASSIGNMENT TO
PROFITABILITY SEGMENT screen opens, DERIVATION
BUTTON is activated/enabled . But through a custom program when session is
processed and when PA segement button is ticked on
ASSIGNMENT TO PROFITABILITY SEGMENT screen, DERIVATION BUTTON is not visible. I can only see Continue, Next Page, Delete Assignment, and Cancel buttons. Where do I need to check this problem?Hi,
Nope, in standard SAP you can not do that.
You would need to develop your custom program for it.

Error while reversing the asset accounting document through t code AB08
Hello All,
i have one query where the user has scrapped the assets through T code ABAVN in the month Dec 2009 with doc date of Nov 30th 2009. Now he realised that the posting was wrong and he wants to reverse it in 1st of Jan 2010 with the t code AB08. when we click on the reverse button in t code AB08, system is by defaultly taking the fiscal year, posting date and period, only we need to give the reason code. here user is trying to give the reversal date manually and making the posting. Now system is giving an error "Reversal in different fiscal year is not possible" with the message AA487.
we are using SAP ECC 5.0 and i got SAP 1393737 for this and it is mention that there is a program error and needs to implement the program corrections.
Please can any one suggest me, is that correct approach or should i need to follow the another work around to resolve this issue.

system since it will affect your balance sheet and other accounting
legal report.
It is not possible in FI-AA to reverse
a document in this way, "because of the calculation of depreciation"
The reasons are:
1. The reconciliation of FI and FI-AA must be ensured, and therefore
Posting and Asset Value Date must be in the same fiscal year.
2. Depreciation of aquisitions posted in the previous year, are
not automatically corrected, when you post a reversal.
One way is to open the previous period(previous fiscal year) and post
the reversal to the same fiscal year. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ONLY IF YOU
HAVE NOT EXECUTED YEAR END CLOSING TRANSACTIONS.

Accounting document not generating in billing

When try to clearing accounting document through VF02 it showing *"check value field assignment for condition FREE"
when I am double click this log it showing message

Diagnosis
When condition "FREE" (application "V") was transferred to the value field "VVDIC" in operating concern "CPLG" in Profitability Analysis, the following became apparent:
u2022 The condition can take both positive and negative values
u2022 The flag "Transfer values with +/- signs" has not be set in Customizing for value field assignment.
Inconsistencies in the data could occur as a consequence.
System response
It is not possible to post the document in Profitability Analysis.
Procedure
Set the flag "Transfer values with +/- signs" for the condition "FREE".
You should set the flag "Transfer values with +/- signs" selectively for individual conditions if:
1. The conditions can take both negative and positive values (for example, in the case of conditions that describe a transfer price surcharge or a loss deduction).
2. The conditions appear several times in a billing document and thus cause a debit posting as well as a credit posting (this is the case, for example, when creating or cancelling reserves).
By activating the flag "Transfer values with +/- signs", you balance the positive and negative values in a condition. You can thereby guarantee that the sum of the negative and positive condition values is displayed as the correct total value in the value field assigned to the condition.
Caution when in the production system!
If you have already used condition "FREE" to post data in the production system, then the sign in Profitability Analysis may differ from the previous sign as a result of the flag "Transfer values with +/- signs" having been activated. See the F1 Help documentation on the field "Transfer values with +/- signs" or the OSS note 52849. If deviating signs occur, it makes sense to move condition "FREE" to a new value field! Contact your system adviser or SAP.
The +/- signs are handled as follows for the flag "Transfer values with +/- signs":
Billing document(normal) "trans.with signs" "trans.w/o signs"
Debit posting negative positive
(such as sales deductions)
Credit posting positive positive
(such as revenues)
Credit memos/returns "trans.with signs" "trans.w/o signs"
Debit posting negative negative
(such as revenues)
Credit posting positive negative

Maintain Condition Assignment to Value Fields - SD ConditionHello,
The error message KE/AD243 generally appears due to incorrect customizing in the tcode KE4I.
Since you mention that this issue cannot be reproduced in your testing environment could you please check if there is a difference in customizing in this tcode between your testing and PRD environment for assignment of value field VVCDI to condition type FREE ? The +/- transfer flag could be the problem.
As of Release 4.6, the system checks the value field assignment during the transfer of billing documents to the Profitabilty Analysis.
To prevent an inconsistent update of data in CO-PA (see notes 33178 and 52849), the system checks whether the flag 'Transfer with the appropriate plus/minus sign' is set in the Customizing ( 'KE4I' ) for condition types of which there are several on a billing document with different plus/minus signs. So if the flag is not set, error message KE/AD243 is issued.
You can bypass this logic by using note 626529. Also check if this is present in your testing environment. You may only use this modification if the +/- sign handling of the affected conditions occurs in a CO-PA user exit. If you have not implemented an own +/- sign handling in an exit the modification results in a data inconsistency in CO-PA .

Hi,
Check if any of the condition types which has the account is having a tax code.. That tax code shouldn't have defined as EC tax code.
When you double click on the line item condition type which will be posted to accounts, you could see the G/L account and tax code. Ask you FI consultant to check how that tax code has been defined.

KashifI am guessing this is a vendor invoice - If it is already paid, then you need to clear it through FBRA.
Also other things you need to check , whether the posting period is closed/open ?

No accounting document created (?) for price change MR21
Dear All,
I'm facing a strange issue:
1. I changed the price of a material (MAP price control) in MR21.
2. After price change, on the Accounting view of material master both MAP shows the new value both stock value shows the proper value. So, it is OK.
3. When I want to check the document flow and I go to transaction CKMPCD, SAP doesn't show the belonging FI/CO documents when I click on 'Accounting Documents' button (error message: C+652)
4. If I check whether accounting document exists in FB03 I can find no accounting documents.
What might be the explanation for this? Why no accounting document has been created (the price change was big enough)?
(both qty & value update is set for material type for the valuation area and there's no problem in case of price change for materials with SP)

"Check if there are data inconsistencies in valuation between the Financial Accounting (FI) and Materials Management (MM) components. To do so, start the List of Stock Values: Balances (report RM07MBS, transaction code MB5L) for the last period of the fiscal year. Enter a company code on the initial screen and set the Totals only indicator. If the report finds differences, inform SAP using the SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (formerly OSS). You can continue processing your year end closing while SAP clears up the data inconsistencies. The creation of the balance sheet is the only thing that has to wait until after the inconsistencies are removed. "
Of course you can run this report in your case for current date.
If there are no inconsistency - it means that FI should be generated - check in FB03 all FI document created by you, please.
If you find no FI document create OSS message - FI account updated without FI document during MR21 price change.

My user has actually perform MR21, but no accounting document generated after the change of the valuation cost. This is to change the business model from consignment stock to own stock.
What is the t-code to view the posted price change document? Is there any special step required for the changing of the abovementioned business model

MR21 t-code is used to update the Standard Price(S) or Moving average price(V) in the Material master. Once you perform MR21 and change the Price, You can verify the new price is displayed in the Mateiral Mater accounting view.
Once the above is confirmed , you perform the movement of 311 ie. consignment to own stock.
The FI document posted will carry the new price you have define.
P.S: Please ensure that you udpate the correct price before performing 311 mvt type.

MB1C 561 with no Accounting Documents
Hi Gurus,
I created initial entry with MB1C 561 to bring into SAP legacy system figures, but no FI documents were created but the stocks are there, if I check MB52 I can see the value in there so the
value of all the stock match with the value that I have outside SAP, the problem is that at GL level there is no posting. When I see the material document in MB03 it does not have any
accouting documents.
I thought on giving reverse with 562 but when I do this, a FI document is created debiting from the accout of spare parts, this is correct in the system but in my scenario is not because
that account was not credited with the 561 movement. Now both 561 and 562 are working correctly and posting FI documents.
How can I take out the stock without impacting the GL account? Is there any way to Re-post the accounting document that should be created?
Root Cause Analysis:
1.I checked that Materials had a moving average price before the 561 movement, so zero price is not an issue.
2.I checke OMS2 settings for the material type and it had both quantity and value update clicked on.
3.I checked the settings in OMJJ for movement type 561 they have EXBWR, value updates and quantity updates.
4. I checked OBYC settings and it had the right accounts in GBB BSA
5. I checked OMWN settings and it has the right parameters.
Options Explored:
1. If I do a 562 movement a FI document is created debiting from spare parts so this is not an option,
2. Making the price 0 before doing 562 mvmnt also does not work because when I do a MR21 a FI document is created.
Please let me know any ideas to solve this issue.Thanks Jurgen, We are trying to explore all other options before manually creating the journal entries. This is the inventory account so we might have to make changes to the G/L account to make manual postings possible.
There were no update terminations so all the update tasks were processed correctly. I went through the sequence of update tasks and the tables which are updated.
MBEW - Updated correctly
CKMI1 - Updated correctly
bkpf - No Updates
bseg - No Updates
S031 - Updated correctly
S032 - Updated correctly
S033 - Updated correctly
Is there a configuration in SAP which will update material valuation (MBEW) but not update the accounting documents?
If I switch off the value update for material type in OMS2, there will not be any updates to MBEW and also FI. We are trying to get to the root cause of this issue and may be replicte it for reverse posting 562.
