Accounts getting processed unconditionally: OIM GTC

Hello,
I've created a GTC that connects to an Oracle view. The unique field being read from this view maps to a UDF, UDF_EMPLNO. My userID, USR_LOGIN, is different from this UDF, and is being generated automatically based on the user's first and last name.
When I ran this Scheduled Task, it kept processing the same account again and again. For users that already exist in OIM with this UDF_EMPLNO, instead of updating their account, it kept creating new accounts based on the adapter for generating uniqueIDs.
If this UDF_EMPLNO field has been identified at the Unique attribute in the GTC, then why is it still processing the same account again and again? Is there anything I can do to avoid this? I'm obviously missing something basic. Help!!

Uhhh...stupid mistake...in the mapping, for employeenumber, I didn't select the "Matching only" box. So it would pretty much create a new account every time.
It's working now the way it should!

Automatic AD account creation when user gets created in OIM

Dear All,
Currently in my OIM version 9.1.0.2, AD account creation is request based. Manager has to raise a request to create an AD account for the user.
Now we want to leave this process for AD account creation. Requirement is to create the AD account without any approval process.
Or I can say create an AD account for the user as soon as user gets created in OIM.
Please suggest.

I am able to follow the steps mentioned for creating membership rule and access policy.
Account get created whenever used is added to new group 'createadaccountautomatically'.
However a small trouble here.
Initially resource status goes to ready. I need to select Misallocation attribute in the request form manually. This might be happening because in present request based approval Manager provides the is_location.
How should I overcome this limitation? I mean what change to make so that is_location gets changed automatically.
Please suggest on this.

I want to get all the process task which are failed after retried 5 times.
For e.g Create user task in AD retried for 5 times but still it is in failed state. I want to get all such process task.

Entry not getting processed

I have an Non recurrening Multiple Entries allowed element to an assignment which is not getting processed when i run payroll.

This is to ensure that results generated by the future payroll runs are correct. Lets take a simple eg.
You have a pension element which would be 10% of Gross Pay_YTD.
Run Payroll for Jan (Gross Pay) = 1000 -> Pension = 100 (10% of 1000).
Run Payroll for Mar (Gross Pay) = 1000 -> Pension = 200 (10% of 2000).
Run Payroll for Feb (Gross Pay) = 1000 -> Pension = 200 (10% of 2000 as _YTD of Feb does not account March figures).
In the above case the Payroll Run results generated by March would be incorrect.
So once you run Payroll for March, you can not run payroll for Feb. If you require any additional payments to be made in Feb (after Payroll for Feb and March are processed), you can run Retropay to bring forward the entries to next Open pay period.

[OIM] GTC (DB App Tables) doen't refresh the OIM User Stages

The scenario is as follows: I have one table as a trusted source. I mapped it to the OIM User using the stages screen (the OIM User plus some UDF Fields) and everything works fine.
The problem arised when I need to add more UDF fields. The stages screen doens't show them, neither if I press the refresh button on the OIM User stage. The weird thing is that, for example if I make a Create User, all fields are shown and more weird, if I go directly to the provisioning process of the GTC connector, in the recon mapping these new fields appears and let me make the mappings. The strange thing is that I save this, and when I go to the GTC stages screen, the new UDF still doen's appear, neither the mappings I made in the design console.
Have this happened to anyone? I don't want to mix GTC management touching directly the Design Console, I am trying to let it clean so I can make a clean export when it happen to put the connector in other environment.

I got the same problem... I added two UDF after I'had created the GTC and it didn't read them up, so I added the lines below in the xml schema in the database. After that, I could map the UDFs to the Reconciliation Staging fields.

OIM GTC connector_OIM API Error

I have created a GTC in OIM. I am able to provision and revoke the resource in my base machine.
I have one task e.g. Change First Name and corresponding First Name Updated runs on completion of Change First Name.
If I am a Officer 1, I can run the task successfully.
If I am Officer 2, I am getting error as"OIM API error encontered".
In WAS logs I am getting IT Resource with key 0 not found.
If you guys have encountered the same situation then please respond.

I think one problem I am having is that I was using the java that shipped with RedHat. I am now using the java that is shipped with the SOA Suite. I am still getting an error, but it's a little different.

Service accounts are getting revoked when user/account gets revoked

Hi,
Service accounts are getting revoked in oim 11g while revoking the associated user or even revoking the account at resource level which should not happen as mentioned in developers guide.
It is cancelling all the provisioning tasks. Please let me know what should i need to check for this?

I used the changeToServiceAccount API method to change the account type to service. It updates the IsServiceAccount flag as Yes in the UI. But in DB, its showing null value for "UD_ADUSER_SERVICEACCOUNT".
But i could able to handle the moveServiceAccount API to move it to another user too.
Please let me know why the value in DB is not getting updated for "UD_ADUSER_SERVICEACCOUNT".
Is this the attribute to be checked at dblevel or do you mentioned something else?

AD account getting locked out after password change in Jabber

When user changes his network credentials and does not update them in Jabber. Jabber will still try to connect to phone services and voicemail with the old credentials which is leading to their account getting locked in AD after three attempts.
We are using Jabber 9.6.1, so a fairly new version.
Can some suggest if there is a workaround?

We are seeing a similar issue after the user has changed their AD password the account repeatedly gets locked out when they try to log into Jabber.
We are also using Cisco IM&P and our CUCM is LDAP synced
I am interested to know why you are asking if LDAP authentication is configured?

Article IDoc not getting processed in PI for particle article type

Hello All,
I have an strange behaviour in my system.
i.e 1, we are creating an article IDOC by using BD10 for particulat article type.
2, IDOC created succesfully , then
3, Process the IDOC in BD87 to push the IDOC to PI system .
4, But i could not see the message in PI that too only for one article type.
I'm wondering why this is not getting processed only for one article type and not for others.
we also checked the basic filter for the message type in dist model and even i could not see any condition in PI also,
Is there any thing else i should check? can you please help us on this.

Try to reimport the metadata of IDOC into PI in idx2. Also check the port definition in ECC and whether the segment is released or not. Please go through the below discussions it may help you.

Automatic update of number ranges in FBN1 is not getting processed

Automatic update of number ranges in FBN1 (current status) level is not getting processed.
Tried posting a customer payment document in the system though number ranges are maintained for the year 2015 the number ranges are not overlapped last year all documents are closed but still the numbers are not been picked automatically in FBN1 kindly help in this issue

Please verify if number ranges are maintained correctly, verify same using transaction OBA7. Also ensure that external assignment is unchecked in FBN1. Share screenshots if possible.

Savings Plan Contribution is not getting processed in Payroll

Hello Friends,
We are in the process of upgrading our system from 4.0 to 4.7, After correcting the schema as per the release/OSS notes, we are getting Savings Plan Contribution as blank (Retirement Savings).
Cumulation values are coming thru right but current period contribution is missing.
Earlier we had P0169 with P61, now we do not see processing class(PCLS)61 in the PCLS list. Our earlier wage types were referring to PCLS 61, I am not sure if this is causing an issue.
Please let me know if you have any faced similar situation and have an answer.

Bulky Message are not getting processed

Hi All,
Recently we have upgraded our XI systems to EHP4.
After upgrade Bulky files are not getting processed into XI system. Small files are getting processed successfully.
Earlier we had faced same issue at that time we have maintained some parameters in transaction RZ10, RZ11, SXMB_ADM-->
Integration Configuration--> HTTP time out parameter.
Same parameters are still there. But now the message is not getting processed in XI when we check into sxi_monitor. Message mapping is also not seems to be a problem as we havnt put any bulky logic over there.
The message is not getting processed ahead of Receiver Grouping . Please find attached log from Performanceheader

ALE Change pointer BDCPS table gets processed again and again

Hello,
In Test system, when we run BD21 for DEBMAS, same change pointers getting processed again and again. This did not happen in Dev.
We did client copy for building Test system from DEV (Gold client).
Is it possible to carry over few table entries from Dev (even though it is gold client) and these entries cauing aboev problem while runnign BD21?
Is there any way to get rid of it? Will BD22 help?

Hi Rupali.
BD22 is used for erase change pointers. Why don't use WPMU ? or WPMA ? Using transaction WPMU, this
take change pointers, and mark it like processed. I'm using WPMU, and it's working.
