Acer T231H Multitouch functions not recognized in Flash

The title pretty much describes it all.. According to the information of the Acer T231H Monitor, it should be able to detect simple gestures.
When tracing Multitouch.supportsGestureEvents it returns false. Same goes for supportsTouchEvents.
Is this because Windows wants to use the monitor as a mouse? Google doesn't turn up any useful information about this problem. So does anyone know the solution/reason?
Note, I have installed the monitor driver from the Acer website and on website it also says the monitor supports MultiTouch, or at least it is multitouch.

60D not recognizing external flash

I have a 580 EX II flash and when it it off camera, my 60d says "The menu cannot be displayed...Incompatible flash or flash's power is turned off." The flash is on but the camera's menu function will not find the flash and allow and functions to be set.
Wireless function is set to Enable (in camera)...580 EX II set to slave via flash LCD. Am I setting something wrong?
Flash works fine in the hotshoe, just not off camera.
Any suggestions??

Mac not recognizing installed flash player

B/W G3 not recognizing USB Flash

Hello,
My Blue/White G3 doesn't recognize my new USB 2gb Portable Mem/Flash Drive. The Manufacturer, Dane-Elec states that the product supports Mac OS 9 and up. I'm running 9.2. My G3 is not connected to the internet.
I wonder if anyone knows of updates/patches I could download to my ibook & then transfer to the G3? Also, is there another product which might be more compatible?

Is it recognized if you plug it into your iBook?
What plug are you using? If on you keyboard, try plugging it into the back of the G3.
Try a reset of NVRAM/PRAM - Shut down your Mac, then start it back up while immediately holding the following keys: Command, Option, P and R. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the third time.

Windows 8.1 not recognizing Adobe Flash Player and Adobe help not helpful

I have a new laptop with Windows 8.1 64 bit. I tried to view a video and it said I did not have flash player. I went to download adobe flash player and your website said I had it intergrated into 8.1 and that it was either disabled, not the right version or that active X filters needed to be clear. I followed all instructions. Flash was installed with the 8.1 64 bit version. Flash was enabled for all websites and I cleared the active X filter and I still get told that I don't have install flash because it is intergrated and but it does not work. Please help I am in a cycle where Adobe is not helping just sending me in a circle. Thank you

Your problems aren't with Adobe or Flash Player. They're with Internet explorer 11 and Microsoft.
IE11 (Windows 7, 8 & 8.1) has been an abomination since its release October 18, 2013. Yahoo, Facebook, BBC, ESPN and dozens of other sites and domains have had trouble recognizing the Browser. If the site doesn't recognize the browser, it won't recognize any plugins in the browser, including Flash Player. Microsoft was made aware of the problems by millions of users within hours of the release, and so far they've shown no sign that they intend to fix it anytime soon. Their recommendation is to enable Compatibility View for affected pages. Two problems with that are that it's had only limited success, and you must enable it manually for each affected page. Basically, they're telling you to "pretend" you're not using IE11.
I'm not big on "pretending", and I recommend actually using something different. Something that works where IE11 won't.

Chrome (from Google)
Safari (from Apple)
Opera (from Opera)
ANY of those will work where IE isn't recognized, and they use the Flash Player Plug-in (for other browsers), except for Chrome, which has its own plugin embedded in by Google.

Firefox 15.0.1 not recognizing Adobe Flash Plugin 11.4.402.265 - I have unistalled, reinstalled and still "install missing plugin" numerous sites. Help.

Adobe website check page asking for missing plugin after installing into Windows 7. I have used Adobe uninstallers and repeated the whole process several times. Firefox has not accepted/taken the plugin at all. Only help appears for older Adobe Flash.

I've been trying to find a solution to the same problem for several hours now. I restarted my computer this morning, as it was running a bit slugglish. The restart seemed to initiate both a Firefox update and a Flash update to the latest versions. I've uninstalled Flash several times with the Flash uninstaller. I've even down-graded to 10.3. Same result. Firefox simply isn't recognizing the install. Whether it's 10.3 or the latest 11.4, it doesn't exist in the Add-ons manager. I've installed the latest real Player as well, in case it had something to do with the issue. No apparent connection.
Any ideas?

Header File Functions Not Recognized

hi, this is my first discussion on this form.
i am trying to make a custom calculator using C++.i am trying to use a function that i have included in a header file, but it fails to compile and says i'm using an using an undeclaired identifier.
i have 4 header files and only one of them (squared.h) actually lets me access my functions inside. i am new to C++.
i am running OSX Lion and using Xcode 4 for my compiler.

You need to include iostream in the header files where it is used and not in Main.cpp

Tahoma font not recognized in Flash CS4

Ok, here is my current problem I wanted to use Cs4 to edit a flash template but noticed it kept saying I did not have tahoma font installed. I checked the font folder and I did have the font installed on the system but nevertheless I reinstalled it which did not fix the problem so I manually mapped/substituted it to the Tahoma I had on my system but noticed the fonts still appeared off when I published. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and it still occurs. Do you have any suggestions?

Why is the Firefox browser not recognizing ANY Flash player add-on?

I recently updgraded to Flash 17.0 and find that the browser often doesn't recognize my Flash player add-on. The crazy thing is that it's available in my list of add-ons, but whenever I enable and disable it, Firefox never recognizes that it's present when I go to sites that use the add-on.
I recently uninstalled the latest version of Flash and went back to an older version (10.3 I believe), and that still didn't change anything. I even did the little trick where you go into your "help", "Troubleshooting information" and "show folder" to delete "pluginreg" DAT, but it seems you have to do this EVERY new session on Firefox.
This is ridiculous. Flash is so often used on websites that I can't believe Firefox would upgrade its browser and not have something as essential as its compatibility with Flash all ironed out prior to the upgrade. I've read through the other answers to similar questions on here, and NONE of them offer any kind of permanent fixes. It'll all crap that you have to do manually every time you start a session on the browser.

Nope. I tried both things, and neither worked. I went through the work of downloading and installing both ActiveX version and the plug-in version. I then delete the plugin.dat after I closed out of my last season of Firefox.
It seems to work immediately after I do this, but if I disable Flash, at all, as I often do during most of my browsing and then enable it before I go to youtube, youtube still doesn't recognize the plugin and tells me I need to go download it.
It looks like I'm going to have to go and reset my plug-ins, but I REALLY don't want to do this. This is ''insane''.

Computer is not Recognizing Compact Flash Cards and Readers

My digital readers are no longer being recognized by my computer. When I plug one of them into a multi-port firewire hub they are not being seen. In the past when I did this iPhoto would open and then I downloaded the photos into iPhoto. Now nothing happens.

Firewire Target Function Not Recognizing Partitioned Drive

My hard drive is partitioned and one partition contains my iTunes, iPhoto and other applications. When I upgraded to my new iMac, I used the Firewire Target function but the partition I needed wasn't recognized. Should I give up and get myself to a Genius Bar or is there something else I could try?

Hello! Why don't you consider buying a firewire external case and put the old drive in the case. You can access your data and after you've got it all on the new machine you can use the old drive as a clone for emergency startup and repairs if it's large enough to clone your new system onto. Starting with a new machine you're probably better off starting from scratch and adding your data to the new virgin system. Tom

Application not recognizing installed Flash

Hi,
I had a Flash problem so I did a complete cleaning as per instructions. (Everything flash and Macromedia stuff)
Then I installed Adobe Flash Player. (It plays Youtube alright where I gad the problem before.) However when I want to start Incredimail this is what happens:
I start IM. Window asks for permission for Adobe to change computer whatever. (Setting is set not to ask by the way.) I allow. It then wants to install Adobe Flash. That aborts and an error window comes up, saying that Windows Explorer already has the latest Flash built in. I OK. Then a last window comes up telling that IM will not run until I install Flash. Which then I cannoy install because it says its built in. ??? So that is a total impossible loop.
I tried to add permissions to Shockwave that did not help. Easter is coming up and I can't send eggs!!!!!!

Glad you got it sorted out. We're really not involved in the distribution process at this point. Uninstalling and reinstalling the latest Windows Update for IE seems to be a pretty good method for dealing with mysterious Flash/IE problems, or self-inflicted issues where folks manually delete critical files (typically by following the "nuclear option" troubleshooting guides for older operating systems).
Synergistic screw-up potential is my new favorite phrase, though.
