Acrobat context menu hide!

I would like to know, how can I hide the context menu ( righ clck menu ) in 3D pdf?
Is it possible?

thanks Dave for your answer which suggests a viable solution. However, please have a look at the attached file (ftp://ftp2.bentley.com/dist/collateral/Web/composing3d.pdf) from MicroStation. Take for example Annots3D[0] on page 5 and see the extended right-click context menu not replicated in the toolbar. Also play with their animation activating it.
It seems they embedded a script into a 3D annotation. Interestingly, it stays a 3D annotations though its interactivity is augmented. One way they may have run is the following: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/using/WS62d861336721011263ac399c138c596fc25-7fff.html
(scroll down to “Advanced multimedia options (Acrobat Pro)” - SWF tab).
What do you think about this? Have they gone low-level or just managed to run Flash within a 3D annotation (no plug-in needed)?

After you install the Acrobat X 10.1.10 update on 64-bit Windows 7, the Acrobat context menu choice is corrupted on Windows Explorer.

Apparently this is a recurrent bug with updates, e.g. some people had problems with an older update too (Acrobat X context menu missing | 64-bit Windows 7)
Running: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat Elements\ContextMenu64.dll"
reports success, but nothing changes, the Windows Explorer context menu still shows blanks for Acrobat/no text (though clickable and launches Acrobat) Other context items are fine.

Windows Explorer folder context menu crash

Hello, On a PC running Windows 7x64 Ultimate, Windows Explorer closes with a
"Windows Explorer has stopped working" message, and needs to be restarted.
It quits when I right click on a folder, while right clicking on a file doesn't cause it
to quit. So far I've tried:
Uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers, SVC scan, malware scans, virus scan,
hijack this, safe mode, clean boot, shexview, shmnview, reliability monitor, and event
viewer. I could use some help with what shell extensions to modify, if that is
even the problem. Thanks

In addition to above suggestions, please help to collect crash dump file for explorer.exe, let's see what exacted file cause your issue:
First enable app crash dump collection by copying following words into notepad, saving it as dump.reg and importing it:

How Configure Adobe Acrobat IE Plug-in To Only Display Content w/o Context Menu?

Hi,
I'm working on an application using Microsoft Internet Explorer WebBrowser control to display content to the customer.
Some of the HTML files contain Hyperlinks to PDF documents which the user can follow to have these documents displayed within the WebBrowser control.
I already learned that I can add a couple of options to the PDF URL in order to hide the toolbars, but I also need the following to occur:
Right-click should be completely disabled (no context menu)
Any key combination other than text related (e.g. cut/copy/paste) should be disabled
Panning mode (Hand cursor) should be selected by default
Is it possible to accomplish these tasks with the Adobe Acrobat web browser plug-in? Probably through Registry settings? (The application I'm working on is running exclusively on any client machine.)

How to remove or hide toolbar context menu in visual studio IDE

Hi All,
Currently we are extending Visual studio and it's functionality.
As we know, we can have different categories of tool bars like standard, build, debug etc shown in pic -
or we can access the categories via - View Main Menu -> Toolbars
Basically My requirement is that, I don't want to show these options (Build, Debug, Debug Location, Layout, customize , Text Editor, Standard etc) shown in context menu or shown in submenu.
How can I achieve it ? Please advice.

Right-Click Context Menu's Acrobat X Pro Missing

Hello. I have a user of Acrobat X Pro on Windows XP 32-bit system. When they right-click, the context menu's are not there. These menu's exist in my other 2 users Acrobat 9 right-click menu's. Please help me to resolve getting the menu items to show up. I have tried running regsvr to reload the ContextMenu.dll file and it succeeded but still nothing when right clicking.

Via Hit and Miss, I discovered that the "blanks" in my right click context menu are actually the command buttons, just missing the text. I tried everything, including the contextmenu.dll approaches but nothing worked. I then highlighted a few PDF's, hit the blank bar in the context menu, and voila - Acrobat opened and put me into the "combine files" window. Even right-clicking on a single JPG and then hitting the blank bar opens up the "add files into a PDF" window.
Not a perfect fix but at least it gives me what I want!!

Acrobat X Pro - Windows 7 - Missing context menu

Hi, so I just installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro on a Windows 7 computer and noticed how the context menu "right click" for "Combine PDF files" are missing. Open with Adobe Acrobat X however is there, but when selecting two or more PDF files, this option isn't there anymore. It was before installing Acrobat X from Acrobat 9.3.
I tried regsvr32 for ContextMenu.dll as well as the ContextMenu64.dll, since this is a 64bit Windows 7 computer. I also tried removing the entry from registry. When I ran the regsvr32 again, the registry entry came back. So the registering of the dll seems to be working.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is to restart the computer. Would that be necessary? Or is this option removed from Acrobat X?

Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Context Menu is missing Windows 8

Acrobat 9 Context Menu removed by Auto Update

I have Acrobat 9 installed on a Windows 8 64-Bit system and from the Explorer context menu has been removed by the latest update (i.e. combine files). I removed Acrobat and reinstalled it from the CD as a sanity check, and the context menu was there in 9.0 and 9.2, but the next automanted update brought it to 9.5.4 and the context menu was removed. From the web, there's supposed to be a contextmenu.dll registered under the "Arcrobat Elements" directory - it was there in 9.0 and 9.2, but after the update to 9.5.4, the directory was removed.

Acrobat X Context Menu

some days ago I installed Acrobat X coming from Acrobat 9.
With Acrobat 9 I could use the conext menu in the windows explorer to creat of some files a pdf file.

Hide the Acrobat Reader Menu Bar

For my Livecycle Designer ES document, I only want the Acrobat Reader end users to use my buttons (SAVE, PRINT, EXIT) rather than the Acrobat Reader Menu Bar to access the same functions. My buttons contain various java scripts that are necessary for form completion. If they bypass these buttons using the Acrobat Reader Menu Bar (example: File, Print), then the form will not capture the data properly.
Is there a way to hide the Acrobat Reader Menu bar for my specific form through a built in function in Livecycle ES or is there a java script that can be used to hide the Reader Menu Bar?

Hi Eric,
I am fairly sure that you cannot access the presence of the Menu Bar. I have tried here but can't get it to work.
An alternative would be to open the form full screen. When you do this the cursor changes into a click advance (to next page), but you can also turn this off.

I appreciate that the user can elect not to go into full screen or can escape out of it, but it is a rough workaround.
The following in the docReady event should work:

CR: Hide context menu on download page?

Hi,
business needs require, that we publish some documents via the collaboration room in the SAP Enterprise Portal. Only registered members to the room should have the possibility to download documents, additional rigths for members must not be possible.
To utilise the SAP Collaboration Room for this, we created a new workset containing the pages 'download' and 'documents' (for content admins). With this workset, we created a new collaboration room template and assigned the member role to the page download and the admin role to the document page.
So far it works very well, admins can upload documents to the room and registered members can download them. But unfortunately, the members have more options in the context menu then desired. Via the context menu, they can rate the document, add it to the portal favourites and edit it loacally. As we do not need any functionality from the context menu, we would like to hide it for members; unfortunately, we were not successful yet. Is there any possibility to do so?
We are on EP640_SP14.

Hi Stephan,
what you will have to do is to modify the LayoutSets used on those to pages "download" and "documents". You need 2 different LayoutSets on those pages in order to have different context menus.
You find out the used LayoutSet either by checking the KM Navigation iView Parameter "Layout Set" or by activating the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f4/2c6b2089cc784bb384a7ea058de50d/frameset.htm">UI Debug settings</a> for your user and click on "Rendering Information" in the iView.
In the used LayoutSet (for example "ConsumerExplorer") you will need to modify the Command Group(s) in the Resource Renderer used (ie: "ConsumerResourceRenderer"), so for example "DefaultCommandGroup".
You can remove the whole group "EditResourceGroup(expanded)" to get rid of all edit commands in the context menu, but you could also edit this group and remove only "edit_locally(mandatory)".
A good advise here is to create an Advanced Copy of the used LayoutSet first with all UI Command Groups, before modifying SAP LayoutSets/ UI Command Groups.
