ACS 3.3 issues trying to use AD authentication
I am trying to set up ACS to use AD for authentication. I have followed the instructions Cisco gives out, but my test account still fails when I try to log into any network device. I've looked in the ACS logs and it keeps showing "CS user unknown". This tells me that the ACS box is not talking to AD correctly. Any suggestions?
Go to acs--->Unknow user policy----> Check the following external user databases--->Select windows.

Issue trying to use old Mac Time Machine backup on new Mac
I've just got a new iMac 27" to replace my old 21" and am planning to restore files from the Time Machine backup I have. On the iMac 21" I used an external hard-drive connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station to back up using Time Machine. On the new Mac the external drive is connected directly to the USB port. The old machine is now about 10,000 miles away from me.
The issue I have is I cannot read the back-up from the old machine on the new.
During the first startup I tried to read from the Time Machine backup but the system told me I could not use it because it was from a different machine - it read all the back-up dates and let me chose, but did not allow to use it.
After startup was completed, I run a software update to make sure everything had the same version and tried Migration Assistant (with the HD still connected to the USB port), but the wheel keeps spinning not finding any disk.
I can read the .sparsebundle file on the external drive and I see it is intact. Disk Utility recognizes it and Status is Not mounted. When I try to open it with Disk Utility it says it is not mountable.
Any of you know how I can resolve this? I am thinking of a way of opening the file and reading it.
I really just need my music, my movies and my pictures, but I have 1.2T of that so it is not something I can download from the old Mac.

With my colleagues we are using a dictation/transcription software which automatically creates files, moves them from folders to folders and deletes them. Until now, all this was done on a network drive, but the drive will soon be unavailable and
we will eventually have to use a SharePoint document library instead, and I am currently testing this option.
I have created a document library (with no versioning and no check out required) and I mapped it as a drive in Windows Explorer to link the SharePoint folders with the dictation software. Everything seems to work fine except
for one thing: when the dictation software tries to move files from one folder to another, the files are pasted in the destination folder but not deleted from the original folder and an error message pops up saying "delete operation has failed".
So the softaware is able to automatically create new content in the document library but is unable to automatically delete (I can however delete manually through the software interface).
Any idea on what is causing this issue and how to solve it?

According to your description, my understanding is that the documents cannot be deleted in the original folder when using the software with SharePoint library.
I recommend to verify the things below:
Which credential did you use to map the document library as network drive?
If the credential was windows logon, then I recommend to check if the documents can be deleted in the network drive which was connected to SharePoint library directly.
If the documents can be deleted in the network drive which was connected to SharePoint library, then the issue may be due to the compatibility problem between the software and WebDAV. Then you need to check the issue using third-party software provider.

Rekink Issue / Trying to use PPro in a Professional setting
The problem stated below really burned me try to conform a series of national spots, had to run to final cut to get the job done.
m trying to work out an offline-online workflow strategy with PPro55. I have ALEXA PR4444 LogC files and corresponding externally-converted "edit proxies" (PR LT w/LUT & TC burn). I am editing with the "proxies" and then want to swap the files out for the full-res PR4444 camera files. File names, TC and reel numbers all match between the two sets of files.
I have attempted to use Project Manager to create a "trimmed, offline" project and then relink the clips to the camera originals. When I do this, the timeline clips all start at the start-point of each file and not the correct in-point. I presume this is a bug. Anyone else tried this with success? The same method works perfectly in FCP 7. Also in PPro55, if I export a CMX 3600 EDL and then import and relink the EDL, it also works properly. Thoughts?Wil, when I worked on Avid DS the workflow there fulfilled the expectation that a trimmed project could match back to just the timecode areas of the clips used.
On a large project (SD) I would digitize lost of sutff in low resolution. I would cut the sequence together. The I would duplicate the sequence and switch to high resolution. That way I only redigitized what was needed. And when I archived the project it was in effect was trimmed down. At first when using PrP I had an expectation of a kind of similar process albeit with HD and files.
But I do follow your logic. -
Does Anybody have issues setting up the mail accounts in apple Mail. I am trying to set up Google mail accounts and icloud account with no luck. All recent updates is done and still it does not setup. I have re-installed the OSX and still no luck.when it does accept the passwords it does not appear in the mail application so i can still not send and receive!!!!! I am getting follwing error when trying to issue print output using VL02N tcode:
Error: Update was terminated.
When seen in SM13 i saw following info for function module RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE,which was showing error:
Error Info: MC 601: Object requested is currently locked by user RAMU.
When seen in SM12,i don't find any lock by above user RAMU(which is my user id itself).
I request please give me some inputs on how to avoid this error.

This probelm is becuase you are trying to enter a record for which primary key already exists in the table.
The insertion you are doing with a set of values which already exist and sap is getting this error that the "Duplicate record during insertion". try to check your insertion values and through se16 check if they already exist in the table mkpf.
To rectify the data or else change the table and add one more unique to the primary key.

I tried to use the Browse button on the left pane to go to a server which has my local copy so that I can FTP to ISP, but I get a window saying there is a permissions issue. How do I resolve?
If it has a cloud icon it means its no longer on your device. Tapping on the cloud will effectively reinstall the App from scratch to your device.
There is no way to remove it from the cloud because its not yours to remove from there. Its the general App repository, you are just given access to it to download content you've already purchased. -
"The feature you are trying ot use...." iTunes post upgrade issue
Hi,
Tried to download the automatic upgrade for Quicktime & iTunes. Something went wrong I guess.
When I try to open iTunes now, it gives me an error message that says "This action is only valid for products taht are currently installed."
If I try to uninstall iTunes (through Control Panel), or run the upgrade program again through Quicktime (which works fine), or try to run a brand new setup file for iTunes, I get a Windows Installer dialog that states "The feature you are trying ot use is on a network resource that is unavailable."
It then gives me the option for which source to use for the installation package 'iTunes.msi'
I've tried putting in both the iTunes.msi and the iTunesSetupAdmin.msi in there, both of which result in saying that the path for iTunes.msi cannot be found.
I am the only user on this computer, and have Admin privedges. Any ideas?Solved problem myself after over an hour of googling/searching these forums for answer:
The reason this wasn't working, it seems, is because while upgrading I didn't click "Accept" on the user agreement, and restarted the computer before accepting. I tried playing a file that is associated to open with iTunes (which isn't my default mp3 player), and a dialog popped up for me to accept the agreement. Clicked accept, iTunes immediately started working.
Feel real dumb now, hope this thread helps someone else one day. -
Trying to use SCXI-1128 independent mode for 64x1. Demo doesn't correct issues
I'm trying to use the SCXI-1128 with the independent topology as both a 32x2 and a 64x1 switcher. I have no problems using it as a 32x2, but when I try to control the HLSELECT and 1WIRE relays, I get errors. I can see them as "open", but if I try to "close" either of them I get an error or a no path exists message. I've tried to use the demo from a previous post:
"How Do I Program the SCXI-1127/1128 in Independent Mode as a 64x1 Multiplexer?"
but it still doesn't allow me to utilize the 64x1 configuration. Am I missing something here? Why won't LabView allow me to connect HLSELECT and 1WIRE and how can I get around this problem? Has anyone had success with using the 1128 as a 64x1 m
ux. Just to fill in the rest of the hardware blanks, my communicating device is a 4060DMM and can only be used as a traditional device. I also have a SCXI-1331 attached to the front end of the 1128. Physically, I have a 1k resister from ch0+ to 1_wire_lo_ref and that's what I'm trying to measure with the DMM. As I said before, I have successfully measured voltage and resistance in 32x2 wire mode. Any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like you may have solved my problem here. I'll have to try this out and see. Basically what you're saying is I have to configure all the channels (using MAX) to 1wire. Then I can freely use the independent mode to make 1,2, or 4 wire measurements with full relay control??
If that's the case then you may ignore the following. If that isn't the case, let me describe what I'm trying to do.
I'm glad you pointed out that last piece of information. The reason I want to use this device in independent mode is because I plan to account for the 400 to 800 ohm path resistance of the 1128 (and not have to buy a 4070). I think I can do it, but I'd have to be able to use any channel (ch0 for example) as both a 1 wire and a 2 wire terminal (no need to do it simulataneously, I just have to be able to go back and forth). If I phyically connect ch0+ directly to 1wire_lo_ref and connect ch0- to my 1K resistor and then connect the other side of the 1k to 1wire_lo_ref, I am hoping to be able to determine the path resistance of the entire switch. In order to do this I'd have to take three 2-wire measurements. One from ch0+ to the ref, one from ch0- to the ref, and then I'd have to set up ch0 as a 2 wire terminal and measure the entire path resistance. By using the first two measurments I can calculate the parallel resistance of the ch0+ and ch0- and then I can do some math to cancel out the path resistance. Long story to come to my ultimate question, but I guess what I'm asking is:
Can I use the 1128 in independent mode and configure ch0 as a 1 wire channel (i.e. ch0+ and ch0- with 1wire_lo_ref as a common) and then configure it as a 2wire channel(simply ch0)?

I would guess this is an AIM valid Screen Name such as an Apple issued @mac.com account.
I would also guess you travel to other countries.
There have been several posts about @mac.com names and people who travel and use their Screen Name elsewhere having the name Suspended.
Can you Log in here https://settings.aim.com/ ?
Is this where you saw the Suspended message ?
For AIM issued name the answer is to change your Password as this tends to prove you own the account.
This does not work for Apple IDs used as AIM Valid Screen Names as AIM can't tell when the password is changed (They can only see it when you log in)
AIM's Suspended Account page has an email ([email protected]) on it to contact if your account remains Suspended.
However you need to be very clear that you have an Apple Issued Name and that you know that resetting the password that works for AIM Names and that you would like them to reset the account.
More recently this has been a sticking point. It seems the Contact you get does not always know about the agreement that AIM recognises Apple Issued IDs as Valid Screen Names and that the AIM servers can only view the passwords at specific times (or at least confirm them) so you changing it will make no difference and that they have to step in manually.

I am trying to use photomerge compose. I open one standard jpeg image and one image that is my business logo in a png format. When I select the png image, to extract the logo from it, it appears as all white and will not allow me to select the logo from it. It has worked in the past but I downloaded the update today and photomerge will not work correctly. Any ideas?

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Did you have the opportunity to update 12 to 12.1 Update yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so when you get the opportunity.
