Activity step is not visible in workflow log

Hi All.
I added two task  in my workflow and transported it to qualityand it got transpported successfully.
then i triggered the workflow and when i am checking the log
one of my task is not visible in my log.
Please guide me in this.

I feel like you have to re check the activity steps defintion  under the tab Details , in this tab, you have a section Workflow log ---> Graphical represnetation make sure that you hvae selected the In All workflow Logs....
This could be one of the reason that why the workitem is not appearing in the workflow log....
And even under the OUTCOMES tab you have a check box where you can say that if this is the outcome then do not display in the workflow log so please even recheck under the outcomes tab of the activity step if any of the check box is enabled please disable it and then try to reimport to the other system and check...

    I have faced the same issue.
    These are browser compatibility issues.
    Different browsers behave in different manner.
    There is a permanent solution for it to upgrade tools version to 8.52.03.
    This update has been provided by oracle for resolution of browser compatibility issues.

  • Activity Guide tab not visible in BPM Workspace

    I've deployed a simple BPM Process which consists of one Initiator and one User task. I've added both the activities to a milestone what I defined under the Activity Guide.
    I've used JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 to develope the Process.
    But after deploying the same in Server, I can't see the "Activity Guide" tab in the BPM Workspace.
    Thogh I can see the activity guide available for editing in composer portal.
    Please help me if you know how can I get the "Activity Guide" tab in the BPM Workspace?

    I kind of assumed that it's a feature of BPM 11.1.1.5 FP4 after going through a few articles on the web.
    But I got confused when after visiting below provided url :

    Please see the statement "*In earlier releases, to use Activity Guide you had to perform some manual steps to create the Activity Guide Player inside Oracle BPM Suite – BPM Workspace.*" under "Enhancements to Activity Guide within BPM Workspace" section in the document presnt in the above mentioned url.
    I couldn't find any manual steps which can bring the Activity Guide Player in the workspace anyways and your reply confirms that.

  • Activated dep area not visible in AS03

    Hi,
    I have create an asset with AS01. Then I activated a deprecition area. When I enterd in AS03 I didn't see the dep ared already activated. If I create now a new asset, I can view this dep area, but in the old one I can't see it. Can anybody tell me how can I see this dep area in the asset created before activating this dep area?

  • IO is active in BC but not visible in RSA1

    I have installed one IO '0PO_NUMBER' from Business Content
    and have saved in local object.Following way I installed the
    infoobject,in the right hand pane its showing active but its not
    visible in RSA1.
    Steps
    1. Dragged the perticular IO-PO_NUMBER to the right pane and dropped there.
    2. Grouping - In data flow before
    3. Collect  - Automatically
    4. Install  - Install
    Now IO is avtive in BC -right pane where we used to drag and drop the IOs.But in RSA1 its not found.
    Could somebody tell me why its not found ?

    Then again,I have deleted the IO form RSD1 and installed
    it and got the same result as it was before.

    Would like to correct you that the step name is Loop (Until).
    Please check with the basis team if this step is not visible for you.
    Also check if you are not missing out this step while searching.

  • Update button in AAM ist not visible

    Installations with AAM (Version 6.2) are done, but Updates are not available because the button ist not visible.

    The problem is solved. The first time I installed the AAM our proxy was enabled. When I tried to install an application I got an download error (-60). With a disabled proxy I could install all the applications, but updates don't work.
    So updates work, I have to disable the proxy and then install the AAM.

  • Folder Structure Not Visible under Content Administration

    Hi all,
    We have EP 6.0 SP13.The Folder structure(Both Business objects and Portal Content) under Content Administration and Folder structure under System Administration is not visible.I have logged in as Administrator and the roles assigned were:
    com.sap.pct.crm.crm_default_services
    Administrator
    ContentManager
    eu_role
    super_admin_role
    When i'm trying to access the portal content,<b>Loading...</b>is dispalyed in Content Area for a while and a message <b>'error occured'</b> is displayed in the status bar instead of <b>'Done'</b>.
    I'm also having a problem in Detailed Navigation.Nothing is visible under Detailed Navigation.
    Any Inputs on the above issues would be of great Help.

    Hi,
    There could be only 2 problems when PCD objects are not being shown.
    1) You don't have the permission to view it. But since you are an administrator, you don't have to worry about it.
    2) The browser is unable to show the PCD objects.
    Now lets look at the solution:
    I had faced the same issues where when I tried to access the portal using IP address, PCD objects will not show. So the solution is to access the portal through its "name" rather than the IP address.
    I guess you would have tried to access the portal by its name, then you had faced an error in browser and so you are trying to access the portal by IP address.
    if this is true, make an entry in the hosts file in your local machine, mapping the IP address to the domain name.
    If you dont know how to do it, please follow the following:
    Goto the following folder in windows
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\
    You will find a file named hosts. Open it in notepad and give the IP address & domain name of the portal in the format specified there. Save the file. Now if you access the portal using its domain name, you should be able to see the PCD. If you are still not getting it, restart the machine and try once more. It should work.
    If you are using a Linux system, the file can be found under the \etc under the root folder.

  • Activity/step in the workflow has a blinking red outline

    Symptom
    Activity/step blinks red in the diagram, and the workflow goes to the Paused state (default behavior.)
    The workflow Failed flag is set to Yes (true) which can be seen in an Explorer folder or view containing workflows or in the Home page Instance monitoring dashboard.
    Cause
    An uncaught exception during the processing of the activity/step.
    Fix
    To diagnose the exception, right-click on the activity/step and select Display logs. The fix will depend on the particular exception.
    Preventative
    In the future, avoid taking the action that caused the exception.
    Note:
    Specific exceptions will be described in subsequent discussions of this sub-forum.

    The match/merge step is manual because In real time scenarios 'The person who have access to add records in Data Manager not necessarily can have access to approve or disapprove the new added records', so the case become one client say add records in Data Manager and the approval/disapproval, match/merge etc. steps will be performed by Admin or say DBO.
    Thats why match/merge step have manual execution.
    And your qyery if no match found then its should be automatic to next step "No because Admin still can refuse those new added records untill and unless he/she is not satisfied"

    Though the solution gets deployed successfully, workflow is not visible in list --> Workflow Settings.

    Hi Supratim,
    I would suggest you that you try to analyze the workflow log and see where the workitem goes exactly.
    See if the workflow goes into error or if the workflow gets routed to the wrong agent.
    Also let us know how the agent determination is being done?
    Is it been done using rule or is it static agent assignment?

The settings as far as I can see is same in both the systems except in address types maintained in QA is specific and it is * in development. In QA while the task for mails is raised, the items with recipient type Organisation object are not visible in SCOT overview of orders but in development all the items are visible. In development, the mail is also activated based on the user id but this is not working in QA system where the only item that is sending the mail is the one with recipient type Email. Can you plaesea advice what is wrong in teh configuration?

  • Need Help: Workflow Decision Task not visible in NWBC for customer Task

    I am  new to NWBC configuration , need ur expert knowledge  for the below issue. I have checked the treat . Approve/Reject button for SRM Approval for RFx response ,but not able to get the exact steps for the configurations in NWBC.
    Requirement.
         We are working on SLM/SRM module, where we have requirement to create a custom workflow with custom Task for which we have executed below actions.
    Created the Custom Workflow.
    Created the custom Task with custom  ZCLASS and ZEVET.
    Created   Event linkages in SWE2.
    After doing this we are getting the workitem in the NWBC, currently we don’t have the Portal system in place, so we are using the NWBC for all our testing.
    What is the issue?
         When we select the workitem in the NWBC (UML) inbox  , the Decision Task ie “Approve” or “Reject” button are not visible , where as for SAP standard  Task  buttons are visible.
    What help we need?
      When we cross check the SCN/IBM portal, found that we need to do the XML file configurations. Can you any one kindly let us know the steps we need to follow to achieve our functionality.

    You need to share the details of what Inbox you are using, configuration steps depend on it. If you aren't using portal, you aren't using UWL and there is no UML inbox. You need to get your facts straight. Most likely you are using the Business Workflow Inbox (SWF_WORKPLACE) or the Lean Inbox (IBO_WDA_INBOX). Both are based on Web Dynpro ABAP and POWL but the configuration is different. Regardless, you posted this in the wrong space. Correct space is either SAP NetWeaver Business Client or Web Dynpro ABAP.

  • Dialog not visible from sidekick when using dialog participant step

    I am using the Out of the box dialog participant step in my workflow. I have created a dialog and using in the dialog participant step. When i start the workflow, the dialog is only available/visible when I complete the task from inbox and not visible when completing the task from sidekick.

  • Workflows not visible to users

    We are in a new 2013 SP farm.  I migrated an old 2007 farm into this one a few weeks ago, and I am seeing an issue on one library (so far) that has approval workflows. 
    We were previously able to have users kick off approval workflows on a file with only contribute access.  I understand that they need edit rights on the file/and folder in question to start the workflow.  However, when I give them those rights,
    the workflows are still not visible when they go to kick off the workflow.  The only way it seems to work is if I give them contribute rights at the library level. 
    Any suggestions on how to fix?

    Please follow next steps:
    1. Open SharePoint Designer.
    2. Open your site.
    3. Click on Workflows in lateral menu.
    4. Search your workflow and click on it.
    5. Check option "Allow this workflow to be manually started."
    6. Uncheck option "Require manage lists permissions".
    7. Test again.
