Activity type column/ field in routing

Hi, observed that activity type columens (activities that we assign to std value key in work center) of any material in opertaion details screen of routing as  non-changable (gradeout). pls advise how to make those fileds as editable.

In work Center of that Operation, in Costing tab og Wrk Center. Remove reference Indicators in front of activities and try.

  • Field Activity Type and Service Point Type from CC&B

    Our customer is migrating their CIS to CC&B. It is my understanding that the CC&B Field Activity Type is similar to CIS Service Order without the Service Point Type. (Service Point Type is Water or Electricity)
    The two valuescome from CC&B in their own fields.
    QUESTION: Does MWM 1.5.0.8.1 and ORS need these fields to be concatenated from CC&B or are these fields automatically concatenated via the router before the field order is created in MWM and then sent to ORS?

    Almost forgot - by default, it's one-to-one....but you can change this behavior.
    In the direct integration from CCB to MWM, the MWM Field Order Type is actually CCB's "JOB_CD" (which is a characteristic on the Field Activity Type). You could set the same value for "JOB_CD" for numerous Field Activity Types in CCB.

  • Routing Activity Type BUG!

    Dear All,
    I've created a work center and didn't put in the Activity Types in the costing tab. Then I created a routing and used this work center in (Activity Types field was empty). Afterwards, I linked the activity types in the work centers once I had them created from the Finance and went to CR02 to update the missing activity types in the operation.
    When I run costing or when I create a production order, it !!!!doesn't!!!! see the activity costs. The only way that it sees it is when I go to the routing, delete the entire line! and create it again (it will automatically read the activity type from the work center now).
    How can I fix this bug? is there anything I can do about this?

    You have misunderstood me. I know that the routing won't read the new Activity Type in the Work Center after I update the Work Center. This is not my problem!
    My problem is that when I created the routing the Work Center had no Activity Types therefore the routing operation had no activity types, later on I've added the activity types from the routing operation details. The system doesn't feel the change I've made in the routing! UNLESS I delete the entire operation and create it again (it will read direct from the WC).
    HOWEVER!!!! if I had initially created the routing operation and it reads from the WC and then I change the routing operation's Activity Type, it works and the system reads the change!
    Why is it when the operation is initially created with no AT, they system will no feel any changes.
    This IS a bug, I traced it inside the tables.

  • Use of field "Shipping type" independent of the route

    Hi colleagues,
    I have a request according to field "shipping type" VSART in the order header (can be entered in the shipping tab).
    The only thread I can find is [this|https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=12663893&messageID=5380384], but its not helpful.
    I have route determination enabled, which is working wonderful.
    But now I want to use the field "shipping type" independent of the route, for additional information in an Idoc.
    If I propose the field with any value the system issues the error "Shipping type xx does not match shipping type xx for route yyyyxx". This is due to the check against the shipping type in the route definition.
    Does somebody know if its possible to disable this cross check to be able to place independent information of the route in the shipping type?

    I have gone into transaction f.01 and am unable to find the component Transaction type in dynamic selections. If however you want to find Transacttion type 120 use transaction SE16n and table ANEKPV add in the transaction types (technical name BWASL) add other parameters example company code, period etc to get the related information.

  • MASS activity type in router

    I'm hoping someone has any ideas if CA85N can really MASS change activity types. I have been testing the transaction in our test client and have entered the material, plant, work center in the selection criteria and then in the change tab I have entered the new activity type and click the copy button.
    However, the system keeps giving me errors that there isn't an activity type for standard value for setup. But I'm not changing setup, I'm trying to change labor.
    I also get another error "consistency check is not successful when changing operation 0004. But for this one material I'm not changing operation 0004. I'm changing operation 0030.

    Activity Type will for a Work Center and not for the Standard Value Key. Hence when you are trying to change the activity type system will try to modify for the standard values for Setup / Operation / Labour etc. In your case I think you have not entered any activity type for the Setup, hence it is showing that error.
    I suggest you to go tcode : CR02/CR03 and check in the costing tab whether you have maintained the activity type for Setup or not.

    Thanks for your reply. In case of the formulas which we use in work centre. The values for calculating the formulas in case of Capacity and scheduling will they come from Operations assigned to the workcentre timings. In case of costing will they come from the activity type specified for them?
    Is this right?

    Since the work center is mandatory you can make the activity type mandatory for workcenter master data record in OPFA IMG
    or check in OIOPL where you can make the activity type as mandatory ,but i think it will only work once you nagivate the operation tab
    or check whether user exit order at save will be useful

    I have A REAL URGENT REQUIREMENT as far as activity type and assignment to Work Center is concerned.
    I work for a client who is a manufacturer of Paint equipment. I'm responsible for capturing the cost of an assembly activity of spray guns, which is the last step of routing.  However, there are 4 processes/steps of routing which are outsourced to the subcontracting vendors. we recieve the facbricated, anodised guns which are assembled in our factory.
    I need to get the cost of assembly, which I have created as an actvity type in KL01 and planned for the same using KP26. However the system is throwing up errors related to costing, and I'm not sure about the assignment areas in work center.
    And above all I'm not sure of various fields in KP26 like capacity field and what do we assign.
    can anybody help me with the series of steps for me to be able to pick up the cost. or if there is any sort of material in this regards, plz mail it to: __ email removed by moderator

    Hi,
    You need to do the following:
    1) Create an Activity type for the Assembly activity.
    2) Define a Work Centre in PP (T-Code CR01) which represents the location where the Assembly is carried out.
    3) Define a Cost Centre corresponding to the above Work Centre.
    4) Plan for the Activity quantity for the combination of the Cost Centre and Activity type (KP26)
    5) Plan for the Overhead Costs which are incurred on this Cost Centre which need to be included in the Standard cost of the Assembly.(KP06)
    6) Assign the Cost centre & Acivity type to the Work Centre in CR02.(This is possible only after you do 5 above)
    7) Execute the Plan price calculation (T-code KSPI)
    After you do all of the above, when you do the Costing Run, all the relevant costs will be picked.
    Ofcourse all the relevant master data for PP like BOM, Routing with the relevant assignments of materials to operations, etc should be in place.

  • How  to retrieve a column field value from an ADF table ?

    I have a backing bean where I have bounded a field of an ADF table.
    I would like, in the bean, to read the value of that field so that I can use it inside a task flow router.
    The question: how to read a value from a ADF table column field ?
    In the bean I have the getter and setter of the RichInputText ADF table field. But when I type:

    I get a null pointer exception.

    I need to get the value contained in a row cell of an ADF table.
    Let's say the table (two rows, three cells) contains these values:
    "table_A", "123", "John"
    "table_B", "456", "Peter"
    When I click on the first row, I need the value: "table_A". Once I got that value, I extract the last char, in this case: "A", and then I call a specific task flow from a task flow router (specified in the task flow router Cases property).
    When I click on the second row, the same process applies, only the router now points to another flow view.
    So to summarize, I need to get the value of a row cell in an ADF table. How to do that from within a javaBean in JDeveloper 11g Release 2 ?
    This is what I have in the bean; so far I've bounded the related row cell (herkunft) to the bean. Each time I select a row on the ADF table, the function setHerkunft() runs - I see that from within the JDeveloper console - but when I try to get its value, I get a null value - hence the surrounding if statement.

  • KP26 dump due to manual entry on Activity Type Category

    Hello,
    I keep receiving a dump RAISE_EXCEPTION program_error in the generated programs COCC2001... 03 etc.
    When I run transaction KP26 for a Cost Center that has no entries yet (with a custom layout), and when I supply or modify the value in column T (Activity Type Category), and then confirm with Enter, I get this dump.
    In line 1271 of subroutine ec504_update_others_for_uattr in program COCC2001:
    itdat2_key = object.
          <itdat2_key_werte> = 'PLST'.
          READ TABLE itdat2 WITH KEY itdat2_key BINARY SEARCH.
          IF sy-subrc > 0.
            RAISE program_error.
          ENDIF.
    I checked entries of table itdat2 (I cannot find where it is populated though), and I can see 5 entries for the &KENNZAHL field:
    PAEQ, PDIS, PTKE, PTOE, PTOF.
    Could someone explain, what are those PAEQ..., and am I missing some config in the SPRO, or do I have to regenarate those COCC.. reports somehow?

    I'm in system version 6.0.
    I also found out that I have this issue with only one layout, and that maybe I'm missing some entries in table CEFORMF - still I don't know how to maintain that for the moment - maint. view, or SPRO action. Maybe I just need to refresh that layout somehow.

  • Dynamic column fields of ResultSet

    I am working on a web-based system where user also specifies the column fields of ResultSet he/she wants to see. SQL query will display all the results for those selected column fields only.
    Suppose user selected Last Name and First Name.Then my ResultSet will display reports with Last Name and First Name column headings and first name and last name values only of the ResultSet.
    If the user specifies ID number, Address,City, State, Zip then ResultSet will display reports with these column headings and values only.
    I am using Oracle 8i to pull the values.Anyone got any idea how to implement it?

    Ok Guys, I am attaching a small part of my code on the page below. This is the working code that I have written till now.
    NOw problems with this:
    (1) I can easily substitute "*" in SQl query with the column field variables. But first of all I need the columns to appear in order of priority. Like as I said earlier if last name, first name selected it should appear first then the address and so on.

    Hi Experts,
    I am uploading the Activity Type planning through LSMW and I recorder the the same in LSMW and when I am doing this it is saying that field BDC08 for Variable price cannot maintained.And when in source fields step I cannot fins any field for this.
    So how to ulpoad the Activity prices ? Is there is any method for doing this in SAP Conrolling ? If it is available give me the steps by steps for this.

    Normally it is not suggested to use LSMW for Planning Data Upload for Cost Element and Activity Planning in Cost Center Accounting.
    There is "Excel Upload" menthod available which standard SAP feature. You will need to create Planner Profile, Planning Layouts etc.
    Pls find the detailed procedure below for Excel Upload for cost element planning...
    CREATE LAYOUT : (Example of cost element planning layout) KP65
    1. Create cost center element planning layout:
    2. To insert new lead column:
    i) Press New Lead column and select the required column. As shown in screen shot below.
    ii) Click Lead column and select name and characteristic (to view both the field name and description).
    iii) Click confirm to save.
    3. For general data selection : click on general data selection button (Filter Symbol).
    The following screen ( Fig C ) appears. Select the fields required and press confirm.
    Then follow previous step to add new lead column.
    4. Save the layout.
    USER DEFINED PLANNER PROFILE: KP34
    1. New Entry: Give profile name and description. Then save the profile.
    2. Select the newly created profile and press General Controlling. Fig E appears. Select the planning area for which layout has been created. (In this case Cost element/activity planning). Select QUDK from selection list (i.e. the basis for distribution of the total cost over each period). Save the planning area.
    3. Select the newly created planning area and press Layout for controlling. Fig F appears. Select the layout to be attached to the planning area and check the integrated box. Save the layout.
    4. Select the newly created layout and press default parameters.
    5. Give the Version, period from and to, year, cost center, activity (if activity dependent), element. Check the form base button and press overview screen.
    6. Save Generic Name of file. (eg. Planning*.txt).
    7. Save file description.
    8. Save excel layout.
    9. Copy the file to another excel sheet and save as planner1.xls. In this file give the plan amounts and save in txt form with same name.
    10. Go to KP06 T/Code.
    11. From Menus select extras - excel planning u2013 Upload.
    12. Give path or file name. Choose the file description and execute. The file will be uploaded in system.

    1.Work center and routing are also the master datas for PP Module.
    2.Work center is the place at which the individual operations are carried out and its created using CR01.
    3.Each work center will be linked to a cost center in the costing tab.
    4.Before making this assignment, for a combination of cost center and activity type the activity per hour
    rate will be maintained in KP26 for the periods.
    5.If for the same activity type different rates are to be maintained means,then it can assigned to a
    different cost center only.
    6.One work center can be linked only to one cost center.
    7.one cost centers can be linked to several work centers.
    8.Cost centers will be created using KS01 and activity types using KL01.
    9.While creating routing using CA01,for each operation a work center must be assigned.It means that
    particular operation will be done in the mentioned work center.
    10.Control key can be assigned either directly in the work center or else in the routing manually it can
    be added or changed.
    11.A control key tells the whether an operation is relevant to scheduling,costing,capacity
    requirements,qualtity insepction characteristics.
    12.Control key configuration can be made in OP67.
    13.OP5A is for configuring the routing.
    14.OPFA is for configuring the work center fields.
