Actual Cost worker Error

Hi all,
When launching cost manager, Actual cost worker completed with warning message at a transaction_id and it erred out as below.
CSTPACIN.COST_INV_TXN: (190): User-Defined Exception
Pls help to sort out this issue..

    The transactions is done on present system date but actual cost worker shows the details(date updated) as next future date. Why is it so?

    Please check your "Cost Cutoff" setup on the (R) Inventory: (M)Setup->Organizations->Parameters ->(T)Costing Information.
    Normally, it's future date which means, all transactions done on or before the date setup. You may also set the field to blank(check on the User Guide for more info).

  • Actual cost splitting error (Equivalence numbers)

    I am facing an error during actual cost splitting (KSS2) . The situation is working fine in the case of Plan cost splitting (KSS4)
    I want to split costs in a cost centre based on equivalence numbers. But, i dont see any option of maintaining equivalence numbers for actual cost splititng. The option is available ONLY in KP26..
    Hence, I have maintained equi no.s only in KP26. This gives me error in KSS2 Quoting some divergence error. The message reads that activity price calculation did not converge
    It shows me a picture on screen which displays a loop between activity types. I am unable to understand it
    Can any one guide me on this??

      Here Kss4 Before cost centers are assigned Splliting Structure to cost center r not Plz check.Then Only it Work.Actuval cost Splliting is Working  Based On the Production Order Conformation and U r Fi entry Poistings Related to cost Planning.

  • Layer Cost Worker Error

    Hi All,
    The Layer Cost Worker concurrent program is scheduled & running with error. When I fetch the details from back end, I found out that it was a child concurrent program of costing manager.
    And Cosing Manager status_code was 'I'. So if I cancel the parent, then the chils concurrent program also gets stopped.
    But, I want to know what impact it will cause if I cancel costing manger. And how can I solve the issue in layer cost worker CCP.

    If Costing manager is stopped then you will end up with material txns not being costed which will effect your FIFO or LIFO costed items.

  • COFC - Actual cost calculation error

    Hi Friends,
    I am a PP consultant and i have a issue with cost calculation at the time of confirmation.
    There are production orders that were confirmed in year 2010 and year 2011. For year 2010 costing documents were created but not no costing docuemnts for confirmations in year 2011.
    I checked tcode COFC and found error log as : A master record for 1111/ABCD exists only in 2010.(where 1111 is cost center and ABCD is activity type.)
    I have checked the validaty of both cost center and activity type & both are valid.
    can anyone please suggest what has to be maintained for year 2011 from controlling side.

    Hi Rohit,
    The similar error i have faced  just couple of hours back.
    I have checked up the plan prices in KP26 for the activity type and could see that they were not maintained for 2011.
    I have maintained the same for the current year and the error got resolved.
    Pls see that you are choosing the correct cost centre and activity type combination alongwith the costing version for 2011.

  • Error in Distribution of Actual cost in Cost Object Hierarchy

    Hi,
    I am getting an error while doing the Distribution of Actual cost from Cost Object Node to the assigned Order.
    Cost element/origin 630000 could not be distributed
    Message no. KZ468
    Diagnosis
    The cost element/ origin 630000 could not be distributed because there are no target costs for this cost element/origin or for cost element group CO-PC-TOT.
    Procedure
    Check the calculated target costs and cost element group CO-PC-TOT assigned to the target cost version.
    Procedure for System Administration
    Proceed
    Although the Cost element is Present in cost element group CO-PC-TOT.
    One more information, the order  that is assigned in Cost Object Hierarchy is of CO-Product orders.
    I have searched in the forum but I havent got any solution.

    Hi,
    Concerning error message KZ 468, it has the following origin: In the  customizing of the cost object category (transaction okz5), check if the 'single object selection' is set to 'Control through variance key'. If you consider the F1-Help for this option you will find the following  explanation:
    if the indicator Control through variance key is turned on, the production order, process order, or product cost collector can only be assigned to the cost object hierarchy if:
    -> The material is assigned to the lowest node of the hierarchy
    -> No variance key is specified in the order
    The important point is, that orders that have a variance key are excluded from the cost distribution.
    In transaction KKF8 you will find that all these orders do indeed have  a variance key. Hence, all of these orders are included, there are no target costs from the orders and the costs cannot be distributed. Thus the error message kz 468.
    Please consider that and check the customizing again.
    Not having target costs in the distribution indicates either a wrong set up of the hierarchy or, more likely, no valid cost estimate for a certain material of a production order or product cost collector could be found.
    Did you check whether for this cost element/origin target costs exist, and also for the cost element group? If not the message KZ468 is correct and probably the cost element group has to be maintained properly.
    The distribution of actual costs calculates target costs on-the-fly and the variance calculation does not have to be carried out before. Quite the opposite than the variance calculation requires the distribution as a preceding step. Furthermore it is not sufficient that one cost element is in a cost element group but the interval where the cost element has been assigned to has to have some target costs. Otherwise this won't work and message KZ468 is issued.

    I dont want to post actual activity cost via production order activity confirmation. But i want standard value keys for my production duration purpose. So,i defined activites(strd value key) in work center without assigning cost center to that work center. While i confirm in CO11N, system throws erro log as Actual cost calculation contain errors and allows me to confirm the activities. I am doing MB31 and all CO settlement activities also. But when i try to close the order it says error log exists,so closing of order is not possible. How to overcome this problem as i dont want to capture any cost of activites via production order,but i want confirmation only for production analysis.

    1.problem could be with the activity type costing.
    check KP26 data maintained or not (for activity and costcentre assigned to work cneter)
    2.IF order having CSER status then do the cost caliculation in the order, so that the status will go.(do thsi after correcting the KP26 data)

    I am getting the following Error while executing the CKMLCP (Actual Costing) Transaction through my User ID in system. If we execute the same transaction  with other user id then there is no Error. same role is assign to both user. Try to check SU53 screen shot but it show no error

    i havent maintained costing variant for work order(maintenance order) type i used to create the work order. so when i posted goods issue, how does the actual costs get posted with out maintaining the costing variant for work order type. what is the role of costing variant configuration in work order type settings.

    Hi monica,
    Costing variant forms the link between the application and Customizing, since all cost estimates are carried out and saved with reference to a costing variant. The costing variant contains all the control parameters for costing.
    The configuration parameters are maintained for costing type, valuation variants, date control, and quantity structure control.In costing type we specify which field in the material master must the price be updated,
    In valuation variant we specify in what order the system should go about accessing prices for the material master planned price, standard price, moving average price etc. Further which is the price which should be considered for activity price. How the system should select BOM and routing.

    when you gone to the transaction code Kp26 Activity typ price/ planning after give the input press period screen or F6 function key and check what price was maintained for your period 12.
    And even you do one thing go to the transaction code KS02 or 03. Give the cost center and press enter . Then from the meny bar select Environment -> whereused list->.
    And let me confirm how you run the cost estimate for the material

  • Confirmation with errors in calc. actual costs for PM-order

    Hi,
    We have a PM-order with notifications and good movements that has tecnical completion status and is already settled. So we want to set it with bussines completion status, but an error arises: "Unprocessed future change recs for order 5009385 prevent del. flag/completion"
    We already checked for automatic goods receipt pending, backflushes, etc. and the only found is an error record in actual costs calculation (trn. COFC). Looking at this record the message says: "No prices could be determined for object Activity type CONA/900097/PM-100" (message KW 407).
    We checked price set for the activity type and cost center and is set for all the periods of actual fiscal year. Then looking at the details for above message, we found the following: "No price could be found for object Activity type CONA/900097/PM-100 with price indicator 7 and value type 4"
    The question is: why system is trying to get price for activity type PM-100 with price indicator 7 instead of 3 as usual for our PM-orders? How price indicator is defined from actual PM-order parameters? Any idea?

    Whats your activity type category? I believe it should be 1
    Your point is right, price indicator shud be 3 because while confirmation system uses the planned rate.. And price indicator pertains to actual activity price..
    Check whether you have calculated or maintaned actual activity price or not in KBK6
