  • Authorization based on cost center for manual actual postings

    Hello,
    We tried to use customer function (COCCA001)/EXIT_SAPLKBER_001 for actual postings (as this is not feasible in standard with PFCG).
    Unfortunately, this exit seems not to be working for actuals postings (kb11n, kb15n, KB21n).
    I found in SPRO those exit EXIT_SAPMKAL1_001 and EXIT_SAPMKGA2_001 for periodic reposting and allocation or EXIT_SAPLKBER_002 for organizational authorization (not used for our project).
    Do you have any clue about how to handle this requirement?

    Give a try in similar lines (CO Validation) as mentioned in the below link and check the transaction codes:

  • Total actual cost for a given PM Order

    hello all,
    how do i get total actual cost for a given PM order (in IW33 under cost tab we have total actual cost)..
    is stored in table or do i need to use any function module.....
    thanks in advance....

    Hi Vinay,
    You can use the following logic for extracting the Actual cost of a PM order.
    Pass the Order No (AUFNR) in Table AUFK and fetch the Object number (OBJNR).
    Pass OBJNR value in table COEP.
    You can get the actual cost of the order in COEP table.
    Please mark this as correct if it resolves your issue.

  • Budget Vs Actual report for FM

    Hi SAP FM Gurus
    We had implemented BCS in ECC 6.0. We are able to get the availability control for the commitment item & fund centre through the release procedure for specific periods.
    In the above said situtaion, we are facing the following issues.
    1. The Budget is released for 2nd  period of a fiscal year. But when we make the PO for 3rd period, the system is not checking whether the budget is released for that period & the system is checking only the released budget for the whole year.
    Solution Required : If we release the budget for a specific period, the actuals should be postable against that period only and not for the other period.
    2. We want to know about the standard report to know about  the Budget Vs Actual for a given fund centre / Commitment Item for a given period & not for the whole year.
    Through some light on the abovesaid issue.

    HI
    THE AVC ACTIVATED FOR ANNUAL BASIS.IT IS NOT ON PERIOD BASIS.
    YOU CAN RESTRICT THIS THROUGH THE RELEASE COMPONENT OF SPECIFIC PERIOD.
    NORMALLY IN ANY ORGNISATION THERE WONT BE ANY FUTURE TRANSACTION POSTINGS.
    FOR THE  PAST PERIODS YOU CAN DO IT BY ASSIGNING THE BUDGET IN SPECIFIED PERIOD.
    YOU CAN USE THE FOLLOWING REPORTS.
    FOR BCS CONTROLL
    FMRP_RW_BUDGET - Budget Overview
    FMRP_RW_BUDVER - Comparison of Budget Versions
    FMRP_RW_BUDCON - Overview of Budget Usage
    FMRP_RW_EFFYEAR - Budget Overview After Year of Cash Effectivity
    FMRP_RW_COVRGRP - Budget Usage of Cover Groups

  • Actual Postings in PCA

    Hi,
    Can someone tell me the differences between the following in the way they generate postings in PCA
    1.     Accounts assigned to 3KEH table – How they generate postings to profit centers
    2.     Transferring Selected Balance Sheet Items - 1KEH, 1KEJ, 1KEI, 1KEK transactions
    3.     Actual Data Transfer - Transfer CO Actual Data Periodically, Select and Transfer CO Actual Data, Transfer FI Actual Data, Transfer MM Actual Data, Transfer SD Billing Documents – When are these actual data transfers done?
    I appreciate your help.

    Hi Ram
    Please note following regarding PCA postings
    1)  All cost center costs actual and plan are posted to PCA based on profit center assigned to each cost center in the cost center master data
    2)  All material movement entries - inventory, consumption, change in stock, wip and COGS for a material are posted to profit center based on profit center assigned in material master record for the material.
    3)  Coming to balance sheet items - flow of data would be like this provided you hv done following settings in configuration
         a)  Created accounts for balance sheet items
         b)  Created dummy profit center and given default for all balance sheet items
              except for receivables and payables, and inventory accounts
      Coming to flow of balance sheet items
    1)  If u have fixed asset accounting - you must have assigned a cost center to each fixed asset master data record.  The assignment of cost center ensures all fixed asset related accounting entries are posted to cost centers and since each cost center has profit center assigned - values also flow into profit centers
    2)  Now the next major item in balance sheet are for receivables and payables.  If you are using version other than version 6 you need to do following during month end for transfer of receivables and payables to profit centers
         2a)  First do F.5D in the following menu path
    Menu Path: Accounting / Financial Accounting / General ledger / Periodic processing / Closing / Regroup / Balance sheet readjustment / Calculate B/S readjustment.
        2b)  Now do transaction 1KEK
    Transaction: 1KEK
    Menu Path: Accounting / Controlling / PCA / Actual postings / Period-end closing / Transfer payables/receivables.
    Select the company code and the period and fiscal year which you want to transfer to      Profit Center Accounting. System posts the payables and receivables to Profit Center Accounting under the reconciliation accounts of the general ledger. No FI documents are created in the process.
    3)  Now do transaction 1KEH and transfer previous period balances
    4)  Next, 1KEI
    5)  Then 1KEJ
    Remember transactions 1KEI, 1KEH and 1KEJ are to generate opening balances for receivables, payables, stocks, wip etc.
    The balances for these after go live will be transfereed to PCA on line
    Coming to point 3 mentioned by you
    You do this only if PCA if activated at later stages say one year after go live and u want to transfer previous cost center balances, stocks and billing documents.  You dont have to do this if u are implementing PCA along with other modules
    Hope the above clarifies and .........please assign points.

  • Planned and actual consumption for each confirmation

    Dear All,
    There is a production order. it has two operations. i have made three confirmations of each operation for that order. now i want to see the planned and actual consumption for each confirmation. how is it possible.
    However i know that on order we can see planned and actual consumption but it is for total order but i want to see planned and actual consumption for each confirmation. Actually client wants that on 2nd confirmation what is planned consumption and what they consumed on actual. thanks

    Hi,
            In standard SAP this type of report not be there, but u can make it by using BOM,Confirmation table, & material document table.
    Use AFRU to get posted document no for confirmation & detail by joining it with MSEG by mblnr & MAZHR.
    now u get plan component qty by using mast & stpo if ur bom not changed in Production order , if in order component may be change then use afko & resb table & by comparing base qty or order qty & confirmation qty get plan component qty for confirmation.
    Thanks

  • Batch FI postings for Deferred Revenue recognition

    Hi All,
    The deferred revenue postings for the mantainence contranct is done through the Batch job at the month end in my project. We work on 4.6C.
    Now when the contract date is 30/09/2007 to 29/09/2008 the entry for Advances form customer (Dr.) to Deferred revenue (Cr.) is made from 30/09/2007 itself.There on the entries made are on 31/10,30/11,31/12 and so on till 30/09/2008.Thus total entries are 13 (instead of 12).
    However if my contract date is 1/10/2007 to 30/09/2008 the entry is made on  31/10/2007.Therefore the total entries made are 12.
    the entries are -
    Deferred revenue (Dr.)
          To Advances from Customer (Cr.)
    (Being revenue deferred for proportionate completetion of contract AS - 7)
    Thereby at month end ( till the contract end date)
    Advances from Customer (Dr.)
       To Deferred Revenue  (Cr.)
    ( Being revenue Deferred over the period )
    Kindly tell me the solution so that the postings are 12 in each case.

  • Sync Actual work for a task, per resource

    Would by using VBA like to update Actual work for a certain task, and not only the total work, but want to add Actual work for each resource assigned to the task. Have tried to figure out how, but so far been unable to do so. Already have
    the values per resource so just want to know how to access the Actual work field per resource.

    Anders,
    We need a little more information about your VBA code but basically the following syntax should work:
    Assume Katie Olson is assigned to Task 2 and you wish to update her actual work to 2 days. First, keep in mind that all time variables in Project are stored in minutes so 2 days are 960 minutes assuming a normal 8 hour workday.
    ActiveProject.Tasks(2).Resources("Katie Olson").Assignments(1).ActualWork = 960
    or this will also work
    ActiveProject.Tasks(2).Resources.UniqueID(76).Assignments(1).ActualWork = 960

  • How to create a PDF that prints at actual size for all printers

    I create printable educational products for teachers and homeschoolers.  I need to be able to make some printable PDFs that have cards set to a specific dimension, say 3" x 3".  When I create PDFs in InDesign and print them, the printer tends to shrink the PDF down.  This happens even when I set the Page Scaling to None.  But regardless of what my printer does, I would like to be able to create PDFs that print at actual size for anyone who purchases my products.  How can this be done?  Can I change the settings when I create the PDF?  Do I need to includes special instructions with my products?  Thanks so much for your help.

    You can specify the printing process in the PDF for Acrobat and Reader, open the PDF in Acrobat > file properties (right mouse click on the page) and in the extended tab (the most right tab) you can set printing not to scale for that PDF as default setting.

  • Automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order

    Hi all,
    I need some help related to the automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order)which i can set for the follwoing scenarios. I have looked on the forms and searched alot but not able to a single solution to solve both the pupose. if one scenario works the other doesnt. Please advise.
    I have created the master data
    Customer receiving--G001
    Sales Org.--GXIN
    Distr. Channel- 01
    Division - 00
    Company code receiving - G1
    customer supplying- V001
    company code for supplying- V1
    2 different scenarios
    1- Intercompany Purchase order in which a Customer receiving- G001, gets stock replenishment NB purchase order from supplying company V1- GI  and GR of stock is done. Biling document for customer receiving G001 is created. But now I need a way to do the opposite side posting at the supplying customer -V001-- this I do using an Idoc which creates a Invoice receipt for creditor(supplying customer) V001.
    2. Sales order-- A customer X001 of company code G1 buys stock from the company code V1. the customer G001 of company code G1 bills the customer X001, but the intercompany billing doc/ invoice is created for the customer G001 by company code V1.  then now i want an automatic account posting to be created at the supplying customer V001 via idoc.
    Can this be achivable via Idoc with automatic account postings.
    Please let me know if it doesnt make sense. thanks to all in advance
    cheers
    Jasmeet

    Hi all,
    For the Sales order and automatic posting we have created an output type ZR4N- this is creating a batch input session which can be triggered to be processed autmatically.
    For the intercompany Purchase order -from Invoice we are creating a different output RD04 (sap standard) which creates invoice receipt at the vendor side.
    Rest of the settings are defined using SAP standard functionality within transaction OBCA, OBCB, OBCC, OBCD,OBCE
    thanks for viwing the post
    Cheers

  • How to analyse actual cost for each operation in Process/Production Order?

    Hi all,
    IN SAP, I know that we can analyze plan cost for Operation in Process Order/ Production Order.
    However, I can not analyze Actual cost for Operation .
    I know the object when I good issue material is ORDER, not OPERATION.
    But, as requirement of users, they want to analyze actual cost for each Operation.
    CAn SAP do this analyze?
    If Yes, What should I do in SAP to have this reports?
    THanks in advance,
    Emily Nguyen

    Hi Emily,
    as I see from one other message that you're using material ledger. Then your expectation is apparently to also see the actual costs of materials in your production order by operation.
    This is not supported. Actual material costs are handed up in material ledger multi-level settlement from one material to the next, bypassing the production orders.
    That means the production order will always contain the material costs valuated at plan price, not at actual price.
    For activity prices that might be better, when you revalue the orders at actual activity prices with CON2. But even there I am not sure that it will always be assigned correctly to the operations.
    There is currently an enhancement in development, the operation level costing. But that will affect more the planned cost side not the actuals. Might be interesting to learn more about your requirements and the use case behind.
    best regards,
                      Udo

  • Capturing the Actual Responder for a notification sent to a Distribution List in Outlook

    Hello All,
    Morning , need some guidance on the issue mentioned below which we are currently facing.
    We had a requirement to send Oracle Workflow Notification to a Distribution List maintained within Microsoft Outlook Mail client/server. The email address of the users which are part of the DL would be setup in this DL . lets say this DL has the
    mailing address as : [email protected] which has 4 users in it let's say Oracle Apps FND users : A (email id - [email protected]), B (email id - [email protected]) , C(email id - [email protected]) , D (email id - [email protected]) with their respective email address . This email address within Oracle Apps would be linked at the FND User setup as well as in the HRMS Employee Setup --. Official details section
    For this we created a ad hoc role name : 'Role_abcd' as below , then set ad hoc role attribute as shown below ( in the display name and email address we specify the email address created for the Distribution List )
    wf_directory.createadhocrole
                                           (role_name                    => 'Role_abcd',
                                            role_display_name            => 'Role_abcd',
                                            notification_preference      => 'MAILATTH'
    wf_directory.setadhocroleattr
                                          (role_name                    => 'Role_abcd',
                                           display_name                 => '[email protected]',
                                           email_address                => '[email protected]',
                                           notification_preference      => 'MAILATTH'  );
    Finally we set the Notification Performer
    Item Attribute (Next_Approver) and assign the role name ('Role_abcd') created above to this performer :
    wf_engine.setitemattrtext (itemtype      => p_in_itemtype,
                                           itemkey       => p_in_itemkey,
                                           aname         => 'NEXT_APPROVER',
                                           avalue        => 'Role_abcd' );
    Now we are able to successfully send the workflow notifications to this Outlook DL and all the 4 users : A,B,C & D would get the same notification to their email address mentioned as a part of the DL.
    Issue :
    Now lets say user A Approves this notification from email notification itself using mail id : [email protected] , In this scenario the Responder name which is getting captured in the wf_notifications table is not consistent , sometimes it is getting populated as : email:[email protected] and sometimes as the value for the recipient role/original recipient itself : Role_abcd .This appears to be wrong
    Ideally this responder column in wf_notifications table should get populated as  ( email:[email protected] ) so that we could identify as to which person within the DL has responded to the notification.
    Could someone please help as to how this could be acheived (to identify the actual responder for workflow notification sent to a Outlook Distribution List
    Thanks

    The following is the criteria when responding notification from email.
    1. If there is no user/role exists for the email address from which the notification is responded, the responder column value will be in the form 'email:[email protected]'.
    2. If there is only one user/role exists for the email address, then responder column value will be populated with that particular user/role.
    3. If there are multiple user/roles with the same email address, then responder column value will be populated with the user in the following preference order
         PER -> FND_USR -> OTHERS
    What is the customer code lne.
    The fix mentioned in step3 was given in 12.1.3 only. The earlier versions have the responder column value will be in the form 'email:[email protected]' if there are multiple users exists for the same email address.
