AD authentication : SAM and UPN not matching

We have this environment where SAM account name and UPN are different for all users;
for example, service account SAM is SVC_ACCT_ACNP, but my UPN is apps.center.svc @ pso.dns.com; just like any email address
When UPN and SAM are different, the BO deployment guide on page says to use UPN when trying to log on to Infoview;
we have tried with UPN and everytime we get 'Cannot get realm' error message;
I'm wondering if the deployment guide is not referring to use exact UPN but the UPN like format; for example
SVC_ACCT_ACNP @NW.PSO.DNS.COM where NW.PSO.DNS.COM is the REALM
The reason I'm asking this because after looking at the log file with debug = true in the bscLogin.conf; I found when we use
SAM (SVC_ACCT_ACNP), it passes username as SVC_ACCT_ACNP @NW.PSO.DNS.COM
but when we try to log on to Infoview with UPN (apps.center.svc @ pso.dns.com), then it passes the username as it is; apps.center.svc @ pso.dns.com

If using java SDK 1.5 then you should always try shortname(your normal AD logon name) @DOMAIN.COM where DOMAIN.COM = the Full Qualified Domain Name that the user belongs to, but you should be able to use the AD attribute UPN as well, even if they are different.
If you are on an older version of XIR2 with java SDK 1.4 you will run into quite a few bugs in this regards, best bet is to ensure you have XIR2 SP2 or later and upgrade java SDK to 1.5 if you plan on using java/kerberos. We have it notes key words upgrade java SDK will find it on SMP.

Address and Number not matching?

I moved in to a brand new house on 25/05 and was given an install date for my phone line of 07/06 by BT. I had originally signed up to Sky but they had all sorts of issues with our address and eventually admitted with days to go that they had no plans of installing a line, so I duly cancelled the order and registered for BT. I am beginning to think that the issues we are experiencing with BT are the same ones which made me cancel the Sky order.
My boyfriend phoned BT on the 7th after no-one turned up and was advised that there were some issues with our line but the message was and has continued to be somewhat fuzzy. We keep getting delays for ordering broadband and I've finally been told that it's due to the address and line not matching. I've been given a date of 30/06 for this to be looked at but not idea of whether anything will actually happen or if the date will just be extended. Can anyone tell me exactly what this problem is and how it is rectified?
Our house is one of the first ones in the development with a different postcode and we've had issues with other companies thinking that we're also under the development postcode. Both driving licences came back with the wrong postcode after I wrote the correct one on and our mortgage provider couldn't provide us with insurance because their database was wrong. The post office site is one of the only places which has the correct postcode. I've tried going through a dummy order on the BT site and our house number comes up if I key in the wrong postcode but not the right one.
Will I have any issues later on if I just tell BT to change the postcode on our account? I fully believe that this will solve the problem for now but obviously I don't want to cause further complications.

If your in a new house then your local authority may need to register your address. You can check if your on the Royal Mail Data base by going here http://www.royalmail.com/postcode-finder . If it can't find your address then is likely that your not currently in the database.
To report an errorr with Royal Mail then visit: http://www.royalmail.com/customer-service/personal-customers/receiving-mail/my-address-not-registere...
Another indicator is if you are recieving any post.
BT probably obtain the address from the Royal Mail's database along with other organisations like the DVLA

Hi Steven,
the database kernel checks with every read the header trailer. If it got a mismatch during read the error message you got is logged.
The same checkes will be executed when you create a backup. You told us that the backup could be executed without any errors and that the system where you created the backup is ok as well -> you executed a Check data?
Now everything looks like the error is in the backup and happened during writies to the external backup medium. Or the backup is ok and then the error happens during read from the external medium.
To get closer to the reason where the problem is located I need to have some more information.
1. You did the restore several times?
2. Did the bad Data Page shappens always on the same page -> Check knldiag.err
3. Did you do your backup on tape?
4. Did you try to create a backup into a file?
5. Does the restore from file got the error as well?

I can't promise this is going to work, but you can give it a try.
1. In iTunes, select your Ipod under Devices.
2. In the Music tab, clear the Display album artwork on your iPod, and then click Apply.
3. Reselect the check box and click Apply.
This worked for me when the artwork stopped displaying.

Stock in MC.9 and MB5B not matching

Hi,
I am getting stock in MC.9 report and stock in MB5B report not matching for a perticular storage location in a perticular peiod.
Can anyone please help me what may be the reason that both report showing different quantity and value where as both are standard reports.

Hello,
The stock of MC.9 reflects the complete stock at plant level. It includes also the sock of material which one is send to vendor.(Subcontracting) You can also cross check through MMBE in which stock prov. to vendor is different.
While MB5B had three radio buttons for stock type.
1 - Storage loc/Batch stock - which not include the materials provided to vendor.
2 - Valuated stock - - Total valuated stock as per your selection crieteria.
3 - Special stock -- all the special stock such as subcontracting/pipeline/consignment.
If you click on Valuated radio button and execute it, you will get same stock under head Closing stock and the value will same as the value in MC.9
--Just click Valuated stock radio button.

Cost in Sales Order and Billing not match

Dear all,
I am facing a problem that the cost in Sales Order and Billing (order-related billing) not match.
The error seems related to sales order is getting moving price (MBEW-VERPR) as cost but billing is calculated by issued amount / qty.
Here's the detail (refer to the screen captures).
Sales qty = 1330 PC.
Local currency = HKD, sales doc currency = RMB, exchange rate = 1.26215.
Condition type ZCSR, condition category = G (Internal price).
When creating sales order ,
Cost is take from MBEW-VERPR => 1.86 HKD
Cost converted to doc currency => 1.473 RMB => 1.47 RMB
Total amount = 1,330 x 1.47 = 1,955.10 RMB
When creating billing from the delivery note,
Cost seems taking from total value divided by total stock in the article doc.
Cost = 2,477.82 / 1,330 = 1.863022556390 HKD => 1.476 RMB => 1.48 RMB.
Total amount = 1330 x [(2,477.82 / 1,330) / 1.26215] = 1,963.17 RMB
My goal is to align the same cost and amount in sales order and billing.

However it doesn't work.

Audio and Video not matching up after compression

I made a video that is 3:18 minutes long and after about 2 minutes, the audio and video don't match up anymore. I have 2 clips in the video that i conformed to 24p in Cinema Tools and i think that they are causing this problem. I noticed that Audio rate of the clips that i conformed, does not match up to the clips which are not. For example, the audio rate of my 59.94 fps clips is 48.0 KHz, and the audio rate of my 24 fps clips is, 19219 KHz. Is there any solution to this problem? I read a post that said i would need to re-digitize the clips, but i don't know how to do this. Can anyone help me?

I still can't figure out how to solve this problem. I tried to resample the audio, but still, same things happening. If you watch the video, the audio goes off about 2 minutes into it. The audio is correctly matched up with the video when i view it in FCP, but every time i compress it, audio goes off in the exact some spot. Here is a link to the video- http://vimeo.com/21619542

Crop Marks Inaccurate and do not match document size.

8.5 x 11 acrobat file.
There is no scaling.
When printed to HP5500, or Xerox 7500, the crop marks measure 10.6 x 8.22.
This dimension changes depending on what STYLE of crop marks are selected in the ADVANCED section of the print dialog box.
This happens with Acrobat 7Pro and with Acrobat 9Pro.
This must be an issue with this file because it is repeatable on 2 different printers and with 2 versions of acrobat.
How does acrobat decide where to put the crop marks?
The DOCUMENT BOXES are:
Crop = 8.5x11
TrimBox = 7.99x10.34
BleedBox = 7.99x10.34
ArtBox = 7.99x10.34
So how may I output this file on an 12 x 18 sheet and have accurate crop marks print at 8.5 x 11?

I think whoever is generating the files is exporting or printing to pdf with a 1" oversize page setup. 8.5x11=9.5x12
Then someone else is cropping the file. How is the cropping done? We don't know. Using acrobat's crop tool? Using Pit Stop's crop tool? Another third party plug-in?
These files are actually only at a preflight stage. The order entry people need to see what it is and how to write it up for construction (business forms). They then see that crops marks are trimming into copy and alarm flags go off. The pdf is eventually placed into an indd template with the the called for construction. (perfs, stubs, punches, numbering etc.)
We rarely have positioning problems when we select "crop to trim" when importing.
Now the problem is if I set the document boxes to zero as I mentioned, the order entry people have the same but opposite problem. Inaccurate marks 1" LARGER than they are supposed to be.
The original post was 8.5 x 11 document but the art box,, the actual stuff on the page was 7.99x10.34. In that case I think the artist was being lazy and wanted to take an 8.5 x 11 and add bleed to it. The intent would have been to stretch distort the 7.99x10.34 to 8.5 x 11 when placing the pdf in indd. But none of this explaing why, when printing a pdf from acrobat, the marks we get on the paper (in some cases), do not match what we see on the screen or are not in the correct place. Where is acrobat getting the information to create these marks?

Audio and video not matching up at the end of the vid

Im useing videora for ipod and it starts out fine but at the end of the video like last 20 mins the voice slowly start to not match with the video..anyone know what i can do?

the itunes doesnt play the sound but when its on the ipod it plays back fine till the last 20 mins or so.

Images in Photoshop and Lightroom not matching on external display

On my external display the same image viewed in Photoshop and Lightroom is diplayed differently.
My set up:
Macbook pro running Mountain Lion (10.8.4), DVI connected NEC Spectraview 271. Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 5. Both displays calibrated using Spectraview 5 software and an Eye one pro puck. Photoshop working space is Prophoto RGB and is set to preserve embedded profiles. I'm using Andrew Rodney's and Bill Atkinson's test images to try and figure this out.
Behaviour:
With the same image displayed in Lightroom and Photoshop on the Macbook screen they match perfectly. If I drag the Lightroom window across to the NEC it changes (as you would expect - richer colours & higher contrast). If I drag the Photoshop image across to the NEC it also changes but no longer matches the Lightroom image (cooler colours).
So, I don't really know whether Photoshop or Lightroom is displaying correctly, and whether they or the OS are to blame. I had assumed it was Lightroom as the image is more pleasing but this obviously isn't necessarily the case. What is clear is that somewhere there is a difference between how Lightroom and Photoshop are converting the image numbers for monitor display on the NEC.
Does anyone know how to find out what display profile Lightroom and Photoshop are using?
Is it possible they are both using the same profile but one is not using the NEC hardware calibration? (Seems unlikely as I assume it would be impossible for the NEC to be using different internal look up tables at the same time)
Could the OS be tripping up one and not the other in some way?
Could the X-rite software (which I don't use but is installed) somehow be interfering?
Anybody able to shed some light?

I'm having trouble with Lightroom 5 soft proofing with reds too. To rid my propossed print of a gamut warning I must totally desaturate or change my paper profile to glossy (or both). This is odd because my monitor is calibrated, I'm using the correct paper profiles etc and when I ignore the gamut warning my prints are looking good. This isn't helpful to you but at least your not alone....

Adobe premiere elements 12 video is slow and does not match sound

after uploading the clip to edit into premiere elements 12 the video clip is slow, it doesnt match with the sound which is on point, when played back the video is choppy and skips a few clips, how to fix this please? this makes me reconsider actually buying this program, this does not happen with windows movie maker.

Could you please review the following and determine if you have been there and done the following.
At the onset, have you assure that you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premeire Elements 12?
If you go to Edit Menu/Preferences/Scratch Disks, where do you have the categories directed and how much free hard drive space is there?
Assuring project is set so that project preset (project settings) match properties of source media....
Open Premiere Elements 12 to its Expert workspace.
Go to File Menu/New/Project and Change Settings.
In the Change Settings area, change the project preset to
NTSC
DSLR
1080p
DSLR 1080p@ 29.97
Before you exit that area (in the last dialog that you see - new project dialog), make sure that you have a check mark next to "Force Selected Project Setting on This Project".
Back in the Expert workspace,
a. If you attach your camera to the computer with USB, the select Add Media/Videos from Flip or Camera/Video Importer.
In the Video Importer Source: locate your camera. Set the Save In:, put a check mark next to the videos you want imported, select the choice Add to Timeline, then hit Get Media.That should put your video in Project Assets as well as on the Timeline.
b. If you have your files saved to the computer hard drive, then use Add Media/Files and Folders to get you video into Premiere Elements Project Assets from where you drag your video to the Timeline.
Either way, do you see an orange line over the Timeline content (I am not talking about the orange line that runs horizontally through the clip). Hit the Enter key. Does the Timeline content play back in the Edit area monitor or does a Render dialog pop up? What does the playback look like and sound like in either case? Is anything improved at this point from what you were getting before?
If same as same as with the above, there would be series of questions about your computer environment.

The download took 3 hrs and after all of that the phone is the same showing no sign of being updated. We did turn it off and back on and still nothing. Can anyone please help and tell me what I need to do to update his phone. He is unable to update or downloaded apps or anything off of itunes at this point.

So what happened to the phone during the process? It should have gone black and restarted a couple of times and there would have been a white progress bar as the update installed. Sounds to me like you've downloaded the update file but not actually installed it. The quickest way to see version of the software is installed is to go to Settings-General-About and check Version.

Video and audio not matching

I am fairly new to editing so this may seem like a basic question. I am working on a project where there were 2 cameras. I put down the footage from the first camera into the time line. I am trying to overlay footage from the second camera on v2 so instead of a close-up shot, it shows a wider angle shot. Since both camera were going at the same time, I am only using the audio from the first camera. My problem is when I overlay the second camera footage, I can't seem to get the audio to match exactly. Even when I think I have the playhead in the right spot, it seems off slightly. I have tried moving it several times but I can't get it exactly right.

what you need to do is find a single frame where you can match with certain frame accuracy
a good example of a frame to match on would be one where a flash occurs (from a stills camera) or one where a subject in camera blinks. double click the upper track to load it in the viewer, find a good sync point frame and add a marker (press M), now do the same for the lower clip, marking the same frame. down in the timeline nudge the clips left or right so that the two markers line up
you might also want to do a little reading on using FCP's built-in Multiclip functionality

Picture and audio not matching in Photo Booth

Hi, can anyone tell me why when I record a video using Photo Booth the audio doesn't match up to the picture? I recently recorded a video and when I went back to watch it I noticed that the video starts and then like 30 seconds later the sound starts. I tried to make another one and it was better but still off, the second one was only off by a few seconds. Is there a reason why this is happening and is there a way to fix it? Thanks for your time.

I have the same issue. Seems if the video is short, like 10-20 seconds the sound and video sync. But, if it's longer than that, then the sound is off and gets worse the longer the video. This is imbarrising since I have no other means and need to send a video to my professor.
