Add a URL attachment to invoice

We are using SRM 4.
We want to attach to the invoice a URL link (instead of attaching a document).
Is there a way to do it?

How to create a pdf for the URL attached to an invoice and send it as an attachment in a mail

HI,
I have requirement where i need to get the URL attached to an invoice, create the pdf and send as an attachement in a mail.
The URL attached to an invoice can be seen by following the path : VF03-> Billing document->system->Services for object ->Attachement list.
On searching through existing forums, i found that there is a table 'SRGBTBREL' which stores relationships of GOS object. On giving the invoice number in field 'INSTID_A', i could find an entry in this table.
To get the content, i used the class CL_FITV_GOS, method GET_CONTENT. To this method i passed following values:
IV_ATTA_ID = FOL21000000000521URL39000000000012 (The value if field INSTID_B from table SRGBTBREL)
IV_OBJTP   = 'URL'
On execution, i get URL link but the content table is empty.
Could anybody provide some input on how i get the content? Or may be how i can create pdf from the URL link and attach it to mail as an attachment?

Solution provided by you is working when the link length is one line but it is not working for more than one line
Eg: say link is https://......80 [80 characters long]
I will give    <a href="https://...72            [in first line]
                 73..80">click here</a>         [in second line]
I will get the output as 73...80">click here
But i want only CLICK HERE in my output..
Please suggest solution.

Add web url to one frame of an animated gif?

I have created an animated gif in Photoshop CS5 and want to add a url to one of the 3 frames as this gif is going on a website as a banner advert.
I've read that I can use the slice tool to do this (?), but if so, I need help in laymans language as to how to do this. Or should I be doing it a different way. I dont have fireworks, flash, illustrator etc, just photoshop cs5.
The animated gif is for a website on a wordpress platform.

The Slice tool will divide an image into sections. These sections are not temporal, that is they cannot be time or frame based. They are physical structures, so you can make the bottom half have a URL displayed, and attach the HTML code to make that URL a clickable link. But this is all handled by HTML code. When you use the Slice Tool in combination with File > Save for Web and Devices, your output is not just the GIF file, but a full HTML web page that places the images (each slice will be a separate image file) so that it appears as a single image, with separate areas having URL link code attached.
What you are trying to do, have a link attached to a single frame of animation within a GIF, is not possible. The GIF file format doesn't support anything like this, it does not support clickable links, nor does it support special behaviors per frame. Clickable links are entirely handled by HTML when it comes to image files. You would have to use Flash for something like this, but you would be creating an SWF, not a GIF. Fireworks and Illustrator would work the same as Photoshop in this regard.

Add to url string

I have a page that can be used to search all invoices. When
you open the page all invoices are selected and presented. Within
this page one can select a client to only see the invoices of that
client. After this the url looks like this:
invoices.php?client=1001
Now all the invoices of that client are presented but in no
particular order. I added a link to the columnheaders to sort the
data by date or amount. This almost works but it will present the
invoices from all the clients in the selected order. I get an url
like this:
invoices.php?orderby=amount
What I want is to add the orderby to the existing url:
invoices.php?client=1001&orderby=amount
How can I achieve this?

Unable to open URL attachment from SBWP in CRM WEB UI

Hello Gurus,
Need your help please. I'm having some problem opening the URL attachment from SBWP via CRM 7 WEB UI (I used a Transaction Launcher for SBWP). The attachment is a Webdynpro application. I am able to open the attachment in SAP GUI, but not in CRM WEBUI. This problem occured when we update the SP level of CRM 7.
Here's the scenario,
- whenever I click the attachment, it open a new window, which also happen even before SP level update, with the following information:
Execute an Application on FrontEnd
Please wait. You will be forwarded automatically.
This page is included for technical reason.
Execute program.
Status: Displaying Office Document ..........
After a couple of seconds, it will return to the Workflow Workplace screen.
I have checked the workflow log and found no inconsistency on the attached URL.
Immediate response would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I did try to use the functionality of Worklist and the URL attachment successfully opened. However, there are some limitation in its functionality as indicated in the link below that opted us to use the SBWP in CRM WEB UI via transaction launcher.

We don't want to adjust the logic of our existing workflow at this point as described in the above link as it will entails end-to-end testing again. We just encountered this issue when we update the SP level of CRM 7.
Hope there is an alternative solution without shifting us to Worklist.

Dunning (Want to add interest calculation on unpaid invoices (open items)

We have a requirement in dunning program. we would like to add interest calculation on unpaid invoices (open items) to our dunning letters. This interest should be not posted, but calculated only for information purposes. At this moment we can calculate interest only on cleared items.
anyone has any idea about this ? what possibilities are there in SAP for this requirement?

I want to understand we have setting in Dunning FBMP and OB42. if i will set the interest in OB42 and Select the interest indicator in FBMP.! the interest will be calculated for open items and no posting will be done in customer A/c?
Will you please elobrate about the setting that will be required to do the setting as per the requirement.

Ok...
Click the Bookmarks icon left side of the Safari toolbar then select Boomarks in the sidebar.
Locate the folder then try dragging url's to that folder that way.
If that doesn't work, from your Safari menu bar click Bookmarks > Add Bookmark then click the, "Add this page to" pop up menu then select the folder you want to save that url to.

Did it once, but I can't fingd the option and 'help' is no help.

When you play an MP3 stream with iTunes by opening a link via your browser, the url gets added to your library.
Apple radio stations don't appear to get added, the only way I have found of storing a quick link is to do it in a play list.
If you right click on your apple radio staion and do a right click - copy, you can paste the link into a play list with ctrl V.
I have a radio station playlist for the ones I like.

Can we add a new attachment to an existing SC from any other custom page in SoCo PO View

Need your expert advice on the below requirement.
We have created a custom view in SoCo PO page. There we have a New custom view called Notes&attachement.which contains same value from Notes & attachment of Shopping Cart.
We are updating existing Notes of SC by FM 'bbp_pd_sc_update' and same is reflected in SC of same item guid & same header guid.
Similarly trying to add a new Attachment to already existing attachment. New attachment is reflected in custom page and the describe link is working perfectly. but if come out of SoCo page , lets say in SC the new added attachment is shown but display_url,phio_size etc are not stored properly in DB.
in bbp_pd transaction every thing looks same for new and existing attachment. we are using same FM 'BBP_PD_SC_UPDATE' by passing new internal table of attachment in import statement. Even 'BBP_PROC_DOC_UPADTE' has same result that is attachment is partially updated.
Suppose, SC has one attachment at the time of creation. then adding a new attachment in custom view of SoCo PO page then every thing works fine in SoCo PO page but out of that SoCo PO or in SC the newly added attachment is not properly updated.
I have added mime_type,phio_size,disp_url,file_name,file_ext,ev_content of new attachment in existing attachment internal table and calling above FM for update.
Can we add new attachment outside SC to existing SC ? if yes , then how?

Create an URL attachment using FM SGOS_URL_CREATE_DIALOG

i hope there is someone that can help me.
My problem is: i've to create an URL attachment to an MM document in ME33K using a custom ABAP report.
In my report i use FM SGOS_URL_CREATE_DIALOG but when i call ME33K and display the document i don't find the URL attachement.
I know that if the attachment is created i'd find a new redcord in table SRGBTBREL, is ok?

Thanks for your advice. It's for our own sites, so we can accept the overhead.
The animation is simply fade in image, fade out image, fade in text message, fade out text message, fade in next image, etc.
So, when you say "they are instead wrapped inside a single custom component", I understand it conceptually but need a few details:
1. Does this mean I first create the custom component (before doing anything else)?
2. At what point to I import/load my Photoshop file with all of the layers?

Before Mavericks 10.9.5 update, I could manually add a URL in a Calendar event to a message in Mail by doing the following:
Show the message's header,
Find the "Message-Id: " field,
Copy the string after "Message-Id: " surrounded by "<" and ">", inclusive,
Create a Calendar event,
Type "message://" in the "Add URL" filed, and
Paste the "<...>" string after "message://".
This is very handy for planning things I need to do, when the message contains a task for me but no dates to add it to Calendar automatically. It used to work, until the last update to 10.9.5. Anyone knows how to do it any other way?

How to add a normal attachment in my apple mail?

Apple mail is so slow when I want to add attachment to my message. I think the reason is that when I add eps file or other files, apple mail does not simply add it, but integrating it into my context. But I don't need it to do that. And because the process is so slow(my eps file is kind of large...), it wastes a great amount of my time doing it. So far I'm satisfied with other functionalities of this software so I really don't want to give it up easily.
So, any one know if there is a simple way to add a normal attachment into apple mail message? Like what we usually do in any other email client? Thanks.

Try turning them into a zip file before attaching. From Finder Help:
Compress and uncompress files and folders
Compressed files take up less disk space than uncompressed files, so compressing is useful for making backup copies of your data or for sending information over the Internet.
To compress a file or folder, Control-click it or tap it using two fingers, and then choose Compress from the shortcut menu.If you compress a single item, the compressed file has the name of the original item with the .zip extension. If you compress multiple items at once, the compressed file is called Archive.zip.
To uncompress (expand) an item, double-click the .zip file.

Function Module used to updating URL attachment in RE80

I'm currently developing a program in RE module . I'm finding off ways on how to auto update my URL attachment in RE80 , someone told me to use the function module SO_OBJECT_UPDATE to do it , but then I don't know how it works ? Can someone teach me on how to use this ? or is there any other function module that I can use for this kind of scenario ?

Add Shipping Type in AR Invoice in Crystal Report

Dear Experts,
I'm designing the layout by Crystal Report. I want to add Shipping Type in AR Invoice. I used the ready format provided in version 8.8. However, there is no Shipping Type in the given format. So, I pulled in the OSHP table and link TrnspCode to OINV's TrnspCode.
This form works only if I select a shipping type from the drop-down menu in the AR Invoice. If I leave the shipping type empty, this form will generate a blank data.
Where did I go wrong?

Override add procedure on a/r invoice

Hello,
I'd like when I add a new A/R Invoice, to call some of my methods, after the invoice has been validated and inserted in the database. How can I override the et_CLICK event of the Add button. If I treat it in the ItemEvent procedure, then BO doesn't execute its procedures. Is there any other way? I've tried to simulate the et_PRINT event, but I can't seem to capture it, even though the Invoice is set on printing at Add.

Hi Irina
The problem is you are using a demo version. In the demo version that was released before even ramp up you were unable to do print previews or printing. They did this to ensure no one ran sbo on clients site before it's release. So if you are using that demo you will have a problem. Get a full version, you can now download it from the sap service market place, also patch 5 is available and highly recommend it as they had problems in earlier patches with add ons.
