Add stop button

Hi. I've recently upgraded to Firefox 29. In previous versions, there was work around to always have a stop button available. I found this useful and am willing to give up the small about of space that such a button takes up. This seams to no longer be the case in Firefox 29. I would prefer to always have a stop button available and for the stop and refresh buttons not to be in the same location at different times (after all their functions are opposite of one another).
Searching has given me the solution of adding the classic theme restorer add on. This makes more changes then the one I am requesting and it makes changes that I don't want. I have also found another add on which is active stop button but this also makes changes that I don't want. This is not an aesthetics issue for me but rather a functionality issue for me. Is there a way to separate the refresh and stop buttons and to have the stop button always available without making any other changes?

Don't reset Firefox. There's absolutely no point in doing that.

How to add stop button to myDAQ loop

Hi ,
im last semester student and during my final project im recroding lung sound with electret microphone sampling it with myDAQ and writing it to a wav file. the acquisition mode is "continuous samples" , the recording time is changing from time , i want to add a "STOP" button , which will be pushed when i finished my recording . If i push on the "abort execution" button , the wav file is empty , and so on the graph. any suggestions ?

By the way, that Abort VI button is not for stopping your loops. I just kills execution wherever it may be. It should only be used as a last resort if your stopping code is not working properly.

HT201272 What is it with songs that are not from the itunes store, but are coming from cd's and other download sources that all of a sudden do not play on my iphone and have a red stop button in a red round circle around them, behind the title?

Songs that I have had previously downloaded from various other sources, but NOW ALL of a sudden they DO NOT PLAY on my IPHONE and DISPLAY a RED STOP BUTTON in a red round circle next to the title. Everytime I click on it it DOESNT play. What happen???? How can i get them to play., Why should i have to pay for the songs, and why are they in the ITUNES store and not in my regular playlist.

Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

Weird Problem with Add Row Button in Master Detail Page

I have a page that was created with a Master Detail Wizard. When I click the Add Row button on our Production Environment, the row counter increments BUT no blank row shows on the screen.
In our Development Environment, when I click the Add Row button, a blank row appears as expected. Thinking there was some problem with the production app, I exported the Dev version and imported into Production. Still no blank row.
Thinking perhaps it had something to do with the data, I copied our production application data back into the development application tables. Still, the development app creates the blank row where the production version does not.
I even used the same browser window for both environments and still get the same results. This was working fine in production then just stopped one day.
The only clue I have is that the Add Row WILL work if the Master Record has no details or less than a page worth. It seems to happen when the detail records are more than one page worth. Also, when I click the Add Row button, it goes to the last page of the list (say three pages of 10, 10, 6) but no blank row shows up. Again, works fine in the development environment no matter how many pages.
Any ideas or suggestions why this is happening? Could there be some environment setting that is causing this to happen?

Add call button not present when in active call

Hi all,
I have a MacBook Pro (the latest one with Yosemite 10.10.2). I dont have an iPhone so no integration has been done. I was watching Modern Family - "Connection Lost" episode and I saw Claire adding another call when she was in a Facetime video call.
But I dont have a green color "Add Call" button on the top right in my device. I searched online and found info similar to what she did like "End current call and answer" or "Accept call" options when another call comes in. But I cant find these in mine.
Can someone help me out with this?

In APEX 4.0 we moved the server-site add-row functionality to a client-site implementation, i.e. instead of having the page be reloaded every time you add a row, this is now done on the client without reload. Tabular forms that were created prior to 4.0, but then upgraded to 4.0 or later, keep the original server-site add row function, unless they are manually upgraded.
Not sure why your tabular form might have stopped working, but if you could install your app on apex.oracle.com, I'd be happy to take a look. In general though, I would recommend manually updating your old tabular forms to use the client based add row feature. To do this, just edit the add-row button, and change the button action from "Submit Page" to "Redirect to URL" and as the URL Target, enter "javascript:addRow();". That's all. You could also delete the add row page procress, and the MRU process that was associated with the add row button, because they are no longer needed nor used.

Missing the FF4 "Simplified Reload/Stop Button"

After upgrading to Firefox4, I noticed I'm missing the new "Simplified Reload/Stop Button" that is supposed to be in the address bar.

I started with a customized theme - just had the back/forward/ buttons placed on the "Menu Bar" tab. After the upgrade I had to move them around a bit, so I figured my customized theme must have interfered with something. I tried re-applying the standard theme but it didn't do the trick.
Is this just a case of applying a standard theme to get back to the default layout, or do I have to do something different. It's not a huge deal to me (I feel silly for writing a support ticket), but I would like to get to the standard FF4 layout.

Enabling/Disabling of stop button for Tomcat in MyEclipse in Run mode.

Hi,
I am very perplexed by the behavior of the Server option in MyEclipse 4.1.1 over Eclipse 3.1.2 using Tomcat 5.5.17.
When I start the server in Debug mode, the behavior is just fine. i.e. the stop button/option gets enabled and the Start button/option gets disabled when I start the Tomcat server.
But in the Run mode, the Start option does not get disabled and the Stop option does not get enabled when I start the server, so I have to guess/rely on the console to see if an instance is already running.
If anyone is having the same issue/behavior, and did something to correct it, please respond or point me in the right direction.
I have already:
1) Downloaded a new instance of both Eclipse and MyEclipse
2) Created the whole workspace again after deleting the .metadata
3) Tomcat is a part of our configuration management software so everyone uses the same version.

Single start/stop button for looping movie

Dear Friends,
I apologize if this has been addressed already in the forum, as I have had no luck searching here or the web in general for a solution.
I currently have a 23-frame multilayered single-scene animation designed to loop continuously which I would like to add to my portfolio. As such, I am adding a Play button, which I would like to toggle to a Stop (or Pause) button. I currently have an instance of the Play button ("playButton") created.

Besides imploring your assistance in providing the code, I must also ask if this requires (and best practice for) inserting an additional frame at the beginning for the ActionScript, as well as where/what layer to add an instance of the Stop button. I would like the movie to be stopped by default, presenting the Play button, toggling to the Stop button, and back to the Play button, each upon release.

Simply loop a video with a play/stop button in the middle?

Hello, I am new to flash but I have CS4, so I have all the tools.
I have a .mov file and I want to simply encode the video (i assume with flash media encoder) to be a flash file which loops continuiously with a Play/stop button. I'll then have this movie playing on my html page...
How would i best achieve this? I cannot figure it out using the encoder!

Easiest way is to import the mov directly into Flash, follow the importing prompt, embed inside of a movie clip to loop. add your buttons on top and code to stop(), and play().

How to add control buttons using Java thorugh serial port?

I'm new to this forum.
I have some questions on Java and serial port.
I want to write a Java program to control my robot, through serial port. For example, when I click "Forward", the robot will go forward, and so on.
Now I already have the buttons, so next I would like to ask how to interface the buttons with the serial port.
I already have all the javax.comm things installed.

The plan is, I have a robot device connected to the serial port.We don't know anything about that device. We don't know how to control it. We don't know what you have to write to the device to make it do anything. Only you know what.
For example, when I click "Forward", the robot will go forward, and so on.So what do you have to send to make it do that? and same for the other buttons.
Next, you need to work out from the javax.comm API how to open the serial port and send data to it. This is a standard exercise in learning a new API. You must be able to do this. Again and again.
But the program is useless. The button can be clicked, but didn't do anything.Because (a) they have no ActionListeners and (b) there is no code to send anything to the serial port.
You have to write all that. So you also have to look up ActionListener in the Java API and how to attach it to a button. You can do that. We all do that kind of thing every day.
So next I would like to ask how to interface the buttons with the serial port.You've been asking nothing else since you started, but you've also only done enough investigation of your own to create the buttons. That's only the start.
The problem is what method and command should I use to make those buttons actually functioning.See above. You've been told part of it several times. The rest only you can answer, because it's your robot.

There isn't a built in way to do that since all the navigation toolbars are on one toolbar.
You can restore this functionality by installing the Classic Theme Restorer add-on

I can't use the Mark Face or +Add People buttons in PSE11 or PSE12

Hi,
I'm really struggling with this as I thought this would be a very important feature for me, one reason I am trying to make PSE 11 work for me rather than Lightroom. When I click on the Mark Face button I get a pop up that says "People Analysis has yet to beperformed on the selected media. Would you like to start the analysis now?" When I click Yes, something pops up for less than a second, so fast I can't read it. I can tell there is a bar with what is maybe 0% to the left and 100% to the right. And that is all that happens. If I click on the +Add People button, same thing. If I right click on the picture I can select Add a Person, and then type in a name and I can add people tag that way. Not what I really want to do. The Mark Face funtion worked for about 50 picturesandthen stopped, I don't know why.
Things I have tried:
Optimize catalog.
Repair catalog,
renaming BreezeSession.dat to BreezeSession.old
I downloaded PSE 12 and am in the first day of my trial. The Mark face function worked for the first picture and I thought I had my solution! On the second picture it is now doing exacttly as before.
Any insight would be appreciated. I guess I could live without this feature but it is onethat I think I would really use.

Thanks for the reply. Selecting multiple thumbnails and clicking the +Add People button on the bottom toolbar results in the same problem. I get a popup for a brief instance and that's it. It lasts a fraction of a second. After repeated clicks I thinnk it says "Analyzing your media" or something to that affect.

Off digital IO after press stop button

refer to the attached file, the digital I/O will be on once the vi is run. This is due to the Constant True button is wired to the data line.
How to off the digital I/O, once the stop button is pressed? Any good idea?
