Adding a business account to skype manager

I was in Skype manager for my employer and I was an admin. When i was going to add credit to the Skype manager i accidentally left the group.  How can i have another admin reattach me to the company?  
We havent found any apparent way to do this.  I know that you cant delete my name and recreate it as the name will say that its already in use.  Advice?

    Check your on-line account purchase history and please also check with the issuer of the credit method you had on file to ensure no fraudulent charges were posted to the account.  I suggest continuing to monitor that account - and changing that account password, too.  Kudos to you for taking the pro-active steps of changing your account password and disabling auto-recharge immediately!
    Make sure your computer is fully updated, and run your preferred anti-virus/malware/spyware program using the latest virus signature files.

  • Blocked user account in Skype Manager

    I have a user in my company that is showing a "Blocked Account" when I sign into our Skype Manager. When I click on his username to take me to more information, I get an error message stating: "Service Unavailable. We're having technical problems. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again after a few minutes."
    This has been happening for over a week now, and when I submitted an email suport request to Skype, their support (Rodeline C.) sent me here instead of answering my question. Any thoughts on how I can get this user working? Thanks!

    Having said that, your issue can be resolved differently. You deleted all mail manually in the file system (not a good idea, but what is done is done). So the mail is actually gone. What you are seing is Cyrus' index. Since you deleted manually the index didn't get updated. To get rid of the problem either reconstruct that users mailbox throgh Server Admin - > Mail or alternatively run:
    sudo -u cyrus reconstruct -r user/gordon (assuming that's the user's name)

  • Can't create new accounts in Skype Manager

    The second day of "The following 0 accounts were created".
    I heard the same was in 2011. So, the history repeating. Pls fix it!

    I'm really getting irritated that something so basic still doesn't work, and there doesn't seem to be much concern about fixing it. Yesterday, when I went to the chat feature and asked for an update on JIRA Trouble Ticket (SIPTSOB-371), I got fobbed off with the ticket isn't old enough to have any information (clearly they didn't even bother to check). Further, I was told to check here, instead, à la "don't call us, we'll call you", where's there's been no official activity or update of any kind for at least a day.
    This is pretty basic; I create accounts so I can allocate credits, which causes me to buy more, which is one way Skype makes money. So, since I can't even create an account, I guess that sort of makes me wonder if you guys are really in business or not?

    You could always allocate a number to multiple business accounts in Skype Manager. Then re-direct the number via IP-PBX to go to different extensions.

    All members work the same in Skype Manager, there is no difference in how a member is treated minus that you cannot add normal Skype names to the Skype Manager, if you are located in the U.S. anymore.
    Also, Skype has decided, that there will be no charge for using the Skype Manager, in the near future as well.

  • Change manager to admin in new Skype Manager

    I've logged back into Skype for Business and then Skype Manager for the first time in a few weeks and the user experience is quite different. I want to change a member into an admin but can't seem to do this and the documentation and information in support forums is out of date.
    Please advise.

    Plus I can't work out how, as an administrator, I can add a feature such as call forwarding to a member's account.  
    I've spent an hour or so wrestling with this. Baffling.

    You can promote one of your business users to a managed administrator in Skype Manager.

    Step by step instructions detailing how to promote a business user to an administrator may be found in section 4.6.2 on page 23.
    To make a member an administrator of your Skype Manager:
    1. View the details of the member who you want to make an administrator.
    2. Under Skype Manager settings, check Make this member a Skype Manager administrator.
    3. Click Save changes.

  • 5 year old BUSINESS ACCOUNT BLOCK

    I have a business account with skype and when I try logging in to skype manager, I get following message.
    Signing in failed. For your security, your account has been suspended.
    Currently there are almost 30 users in the account and more than 10 skype numbers active and more than $500 credit in the account. Our phone numbers are not working, no refills to our users and we are unable to make any activity on our account. we need immediate attention on this from skype team. this is causing lot of business loss to us.
    Skype customer support chat guy hung up and said I need to just create new business account. 
    WHY WILL I DO THIS.??????????
    I WILL NEVER CREATE ANY ACCOUNT ON SKYPE, IF THIS FAILED LIKE THIS. 
    I have trusted skype for more than 5 years now for our business. the phone numbers are already distributed and running in our marketing campaignes. Our clients are calling us but skype security system is broken that just blocked our account. ???????

  • Removing Skype Manager/Emptying Credit

    Several years ago (2010) shortly after opening my Skype account, my account was 'compromised' by a fairly typical scam where my account was enrolled in a Skype Manager account, and an unkown person attempted a deposit/chargeback that resulted in a block on my account.
    I've sorted this out, deposited Skype credit, and used my account normally since then.
    My problem is this: I'm still somehow part of Skype Manager and Admin of a 1 member group that I don't want to be in. I can't remove myself because I have 0.01GBP left in credit that I can't drain (not enough to make a call to anywhere that I'm aware of), and Skype doesn't have any method for me to transfer or delete credit. I want out of Skype Manager because frankly I have no use for it and leaving it around only leaves me susceptible to another possible scam. What can I do?

  • Skype Manager only supports adding new business ac...

    From the help doc on skype, it seems like there are two options for adding accounts to your skype manager: 1) creating entirely fresh business accounts and assigning those to your employees, and 2) inviting your employees' existing skype accounts to your skype manager.
    For the life of me I cannot figure out where in the interface to do option 2. This is the one I really want.
    Can anyone help me??? Screencap, or verbal descirption, or an explanation that it has been removed? I am at a loss.

    If you are located in the U.S. you cannot add normal non-business created Skype names to the Skype Manager.

  • Skype Manager Online Number/Business Account Confu...

    Could someone kindly explain to me what is happening.
    I registered a Skype manager account & tried to add an online number to it. However the system informed me that: "Online Numbers are only available to members with business accounts." and wanted me to create a new "Business Account".
    I thought I had just created one & did not want to create another account so there was a link to: http://www.skype.com/go/business.online-number clicked on that & it allowed me to purchase a number for this account. But now in business manager it is showing "Online Numbers" as 0 even though the account that now has an online number is integrated with Skype Manager. Thanks for your input!

    Exactly. I have invested a small fortune trying to set up a Skype Business Account with a set of telephone numbers. Now the whole business has disappeared. telphone numbers and all.

  • Adding multiple contacts with Skype manager

    This support page: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10867/how-do-i-add-other-members-of-my-skype-manager-to-my-contac... indicates that there's an option on the left-hand side to select multiple contacts.  I'm not seeing this on the page described, I can only add contacts one by one.  Is this feature something I need to "turn on" somewhere in my settings?
    In addition, I've noticed in the past month or so, even by adding contacts one-by-one, only around the first 40 people receive the request to be added as a contact.  After that, no one receives invites.  This is very frustrating for adding all of our business's contacts at the same time.
    I've tried this in Mac 10.7.4 and 10.8.  I've also switched to a PC, but the same thing happens.  Does anyone have any insights?

    Just an update (2013 Nov 25). There is now an option to add multiple contact using csv file. Here is a simple direction: Create a csv file with 2 columns 1st column is the email address and the 2nd column is the name of the account. Then go to Members > Add members > create business accounts > then click on Browse..., choose the file you just created and it should be able to import the contacts.
