Adding Late Fee to BP

Hi
I nned to be ableto add Late fee on past due invoices to the BP Balance. Right now in the dunning run it only shows on the report but does not add to BP balance.
Has anyone found a solutin for that
Thanks

By design, SAP will include finance charges on dunning letters if you use them. It DOES not automatically add the amount to the business partner.
Most customers like this method, as normally the process is you invoice the finance charges and then end up crediting them anyway. With the current process you incude the amount on the dunning letter and if the customer pays then you add to the BP account using a journ al entry, invoice or other means.

  • Late Fee policy

    I have been with Verizon for almost 10 years. Lately they do things that i believe are unfair. I was told years ago that there was a 10 day grace period to pay my bill without a let fee. Two months ago i noticed that i was being charged a late fee even though i was paying my bill on the 10th day. I called and was told that "Yes, we tell you that there is a 10 day grace period, but it isn't written anywhere." What kind of global company does this? Can't they be sued for false advertisement especially when it is done sometimes but sometimes it isn't? I am lookingg at T-mobile since they are trying to increase their business, verizon has manipulated the plans so much that the discount i get from my employer doesn't even make a dent in my bill. Also, the last time that i upgraded one of the three phones on my plan i was charged a $30 upgrade fee that they neglected to list anywhere, how misleading!  I called to question this and was told that the phones were now so expensive that the discount they give on the price of the phone doesn't cover the cost of the phone for Verizon. This is incredibly stupid because they should add that fee in with the cost of the phone which is more honest than adding it on the back end as some kind of unknown fee? Verizon you had better get your act together or you will find yourself on the bad end of a class action lawsuit and losing customers, people want to save money not give it all to you!

    Where did you last upgrade your phone? If it was at a Verizon store, the $30 upgrade fee IS listed on each and every phone displayed in the stores and has been displayed for quite some time.
    If you sign into your account and check phone prices online the $30 upgrade fee IS listed in the description/price for each and every phone on the website and has been for quite some time.
    If you upgraded at a 3rd party retailer such as Best Buy or Amazon, that is THEIR failure, not Verizon's.
    It seems to me interesting someone is complaining Verizon is tacking a fee on the "back end" when it appears you like to pay your bill "on the back end" AFTER the due date at the last possible moment. Just possibly, you didn't make it in under the wire this time???? Maybe if you paid your bill a bit earlier, you wouldn't have to worry about the late fee?
    Good luck with your next carrier as I am sure they ALSO charge a late fee. They ALSO charge a HIGHER upgrade fee.

  • Phone Agent LIED about removing Late Fee

    OK, so I had to biz-travel a bit this past Spring, inadvertantly got behind on the bill, paid up in full, incl. LATE FEE--online--June 21st, in the wee hours, before phone agents available. Later that evening, thought "doesn't hurt to ask", got a live agent/rep on the line (Philippines call center), very nice and professional, who, after much time on hold, TOLD ME CLEARLY AND DEFINITIVELY that the Late Fee had been WAIVED, and "thank you for being a Comcast customer, yadda-yadda"... put it out of my mind as another item crossed off my to-do list. So imagine my chagrin when I went to pay my bill this month, ON TIME, only to find that there had been no credit whatsoever, ZERO, zilch.  Basically, they LIED just to get me off the phone, after wasting 10 minutes (9:55 to be exact) of my time. Building loyalty NOT. DSL has gotten MUCH better in my area, and so has SATELLITE, and I'm coming up on the 1-year mark with Comcast... So I'm feeling the BIG SWITCH coming on!  I'll get all the "new customer" deals, and perhaps fewer OUTRIGHT LIES. BOTTOM LINE: If you're not going waive/refund the late fee, just be grown-ups and SAY SO, don't "shine me on" just to get me to go away... 'cause I'm likely to go away for good, and take my subscriber $$ with me.

  • How to add late fee to total in fillable pdf

    I am trying to create a fillable pdf form where a $100 late fee is applied if they submit the form after the deadline.  I have a spot for the person to check a box if they are submitting it after the deadline. How can I get it to calculate in to the total?

    Set the export value of the check-box as 100 and then include it in the Sum
    function of your total field.

  • Date specific to calculate late fee

    I am trying to make the form calculate and automatic late fee. I am sure I need to use the if then format, but I can't find what format to use to check the late fee date.
    The formula needs to do this.
    If todays date is <= April 1, 2006 then
    latefee=0
    else
    late fee is $30.00
    I know that isn't all the correct formula, it is the date format I can not find. Can anyone help?
    Thanks

    You're welcome! I'm glad your form works now.
    If I recall correctly, FormCalc was a language designed to resemble writing calculations in Excel (which are usually writeable on a single line) and geared towards typical form calculations. I believe you would typically use FormCalc when writing short calculations whereas JavaScript would offer more flexibility in more complex scripts. That's my opinion, anyway.
    Also, FormCalc scripts generally execute faster than JavaScript scripts so if speed is a requirement (for large, complex calculations involving multiple fields), you may want to try scripting the calculations in FormCalc rather than JavaScript.
    I don't know if you've picked-up on this in your various studies but an example of the differences between FormCalc and JavaScript is the fact that in FormCalc, you just need the field's name in order to assign a value to it as opposed to JavaScript for which you must specify the property to which you're assigning the value:
    NumericField1 = 30
    The preceding line assigns the number 30 to the field named NumericField1 in FormCalc.
    NumericField1.rawValue = 30;
    The preceding line does the same thing but in JavaScript.
    So I would say that FormCalc is simpler to use but sacrifices flexibility for its simplicity whereas JavaScript is more difficult as it sacrifices simplicity for its flexibility.

  • Why did i get charged a $5 late fee when I just recieved my bill?

    Why did i get charged a $5 late fee when I just recieved my bill?

        Oh, that's strange! Your bill should be due approximately the same time each month. It seems like this charge is referring to a bill that we didn't receive payment for last month. Make sure to check all charges at vzw.com and review all the payments were made.

  • $30 late fee?

    Why was I charged a $30 late fee for the billing period of  May 19, 2013 - June 18, 2013?
    It says it is supposed to be $5 or 1.5% of the bill, whichever is great. My bill is generally only $81.10... Why would it be $30 all of a sudden?

    Is it listed as a "Late Fee"?  Could it be any other fee like an upgrade fee?

  • Why was I told there is a 7 day grace period??? and now i have a late fee

    I was told that the bill is actually 'due' 7 days after the due date. (i.e. a 7 day grace period from date on bill) and now I have a late fee. This is ridiculous! I paid before the 7 days and now I have a late fee, frustrated.

    What is the point of a "due date" if the bill isn't "due" until 7 days after the due date? Your "grace" period is the time from when you get your bill until the "due date". For me, that is normally 20 or so days. To me at least, a due date is pretty self explanatory. Just pay the late fee and learn from your mistake.

  • 6 days late on payment and late fee is $ 9.50

    Hi,...my bill was due 7/11/2014...this is second time in 10 yrs and the first time wasComcast fault (they will not admit it)...and i made a payment today 7/16...$109.18   (usually it's1st of the month) and now my Total balance due on August 10, 2014 is...$118.69 that's included latefee...$9.50 for being 6 days late...is this right??

    I looked up in the comcast information book you get when you first get their service and it states that the late fee is charged 9 days after the date due and only 1 late fee should be charged. I even asked this in a chat with on of the agents and was told the same thing you should not have been charged a late fee.

  • Adding Handling Fee to A/R Invoices

    Good morning,
    I have a question regarding out A/R invoices (running B1 8.82 currently).  For a special process, I need to add a fixed percentage to the doc total.
    The way I figured out this could be done is by adding a negative discount to each line (i.e. -1,8 %).  Yet, since the applied percentage does not change and is only applicable to a certain number of out A/R invoices, is there any "more elegant" way to apply a contingency fee to a sales document without coding it yourself?
    Thanks in advance,
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,
    You may also explore the option of using freight and apply a fms which would calculate certain % of doctotal. I think the only drawback i see here is that the user has to go to freight column and click on the lens to generate the value, else you can also try to create  a udf with valid values "Yes/No" and based on the value refresh the fms on freight field.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Joseph

  • 1/2 of a GW success: BofA removed late fee - BUT...remove late flag on CR?

    BofA agreed to remove two late fees that resulted from a 30-day late that gave my score a big ding. I asked them to remove the 30-day late notice, and removing the fee is what they responded with. Should I wait and see if the 30-day late flag is removed when they reverse the fee? I was pretty excited I got even that  much traction. I was just totally honest with them and said it was affecting my ability to get a mortgage, and I'd had a 7-year spotless history prior and it was an innocent and isolated oversight.

    Thank you for posting your success story and a concise guide. Glad to see another happy user.

  • Designing an application so extra comopnents can be added later

    Hi all
    I'm about to start designing a new application, but would like to design it in away that I can add new modules at a later date without me having to alter the existing app.
    Basically these new modules will be small apps that will do there own thing, but will be fired from the main app, and when they are closed you return to the main app. So after a while I will have an application with loads of seperated modules which will be optional for the user to add when installing the app depending on whether they need them.
    I was thinking of having some sort of add/remove module dialogbox which will allow the user to select a new module to add or remove etc. But what is the best way to design the app so that these modules can be added. Do i use the class loadder to load the classes dynamically at runtime or develop the modules as seperated programs and fire them up from main program as needed?
    Any ideas would be great.
    Thanx
    Gerard

    Hey,
    First off, I don't know if I stated it wrong earlier, or perhaps I am not understanding what you mean, but my UI framework has nothing to do with eclipse at all. It is built around my plugin engine and Swing, completely. It has no outside dependencies other than my plugin engine, the rest is all JDK (thus far). The engine itself has a embeded xml parser, that is it. It doesn't rely on any logging api, or any other outside api. So using my UI framework is thus far all wrapped around the JDK API.
    Can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by allowing a specific mandatory list of plugins, and optional? Should an application specify required plugins, then anything else found in some dirs are loaded after that? I ask this because a dilema I am running into with my UI framework is how to apply menu items in a certain order. My engine does not load plugins in a specific order or priority, first come first server as they are found. Problem is, if one plugin adds a QUIT menu item, and another an OPEN item, and OPEN appears AFTER QUIT because it is loaded after the plugin that provides QUIT, it looks wrong. So I am sort of stuck right now on how to allow plugins written by different people to build a solid menu tree without an inconsistent structure. We wouldn't want Help on the left and File on the right, but that is possible right now with my UI framework. One thought was to make my UI plugin set up the basic menu structure, with File -> Open, Save, Save As, and Exit, and a Help on the far right, and anything else gets added in between. This would be partially ok, only that some apps may not need a File menu, or a Help menu, so I don't want to enforce this behavior.
    I am also not sure I understand what you mean by a plugin specifying requirements? Can you elaborate a bit more on that? Maybe give an example, something you may already do with your code?
    Finally, some good ending points. I agree the end result is what the client wants, assuming the app you are working on is for a client. I also see where a pluggable architecture appeals greatly to a development community, such as in the case of Eclipse. 90% of the recipients of plugins are developers themselves. Naturally, it being a productivity tool for developers, this makes sense. But having worked with audio applications that are also heavily plugin centric, it seems to me a lot of clients are well aware of what plugins are and how to obtain them for their needs. What I am saying is that while the end result may be that a client doesn't much care about the concept of a plugin, just that it works, there are plenty of cases where client applications are heavily plugin centric and would require some knowledge of what a plugin is, how to obtain updates, possibly how to turn them on/off, add/remove, etc. Perhaps in some cases these types of tasks are higher level, such as turning on an FX option in a photo program may actually load the plugin, without the end user realizing they are dealing with a plugin.
    At any rate, I thought I said, but if not, I in no way was trying to imply what you have done is "easy". No doubt you have spent a lot of time developing and know what you are doing. I guess my focus is the underlying manner in which my engine handles plugins. It is more like a servlet or ejb container in that it provides a number of services for plugins to use and maintains a number of things so that plugin developers don't have to worry about it.
    At any rate, I appreciate the continued correspondence. I would enjoy your looking at what I have done, check out the source, taking it for a spin, see what you think. More eyes are better, and hopefully offer more ideas, better ways of doing something, etc.
    Thanks.

  • If I purchase an entire season for a show, I should get it even if more episodes are added later right? Plus, how do I access an old account without access to the email it was created with?

    Issue 1: I had purchased the entire season of Off Limits, and downloaded the available episodes when purchased, yet the season wasn't over. Since I purchased the entire season, I should be able to get the episodes added since then instead of having to buy them seperately like iTunes is asking me to do correct? Issue 2: Also, I had an old apple id on a computer that crashed and never got the chance to change it over to the new email even if the purchase was transferred via my iPod I was using at the time, and is on the pc i'm using now. Yet when I go to play this file, it asks for the password for the old email account (which I no longer have access to) and this has been nearly 7 years ago so I forgot what the password is to that acct. What do I do to rectify this and play this particular purchase?

  • Delete button added later.

    I have created a number of page pairs in my application using the "form on a table with report" method. Initially I asked for insert and update buttons but no delete buttons because I wanted to protect our test data. I now need to add the delete buttons. Sometimes they work and sometimes they do not. I have compared everything I can - please help me. Trudy.
    My delete button definition is as follows:
    Sequence = 20
    Button Name = DELETE
    Label = Delete
    Region is correct
    Button Position = Region Template Position #DELETE#
    Button Style = Template Based Button
    Button Template = Button

    Expression 1 = Pnn_NAME_ID where nn is the same page number
    Target = URL
    URL Target = javascript:confirmDelete(htmldb_delete_message,'DELETE');
    The delete buttons that work do not have an associated branch.

    *** MORE SPECIFIC PROBLEM DEFINITION
    The Delete button works when I change my definition as follows:
    Target = '- No Target -'
    URL Target = unavailable
    *** Please explain how I can to do the confirm delete popup.
    My delete button definition was as follows and it works OK for some other tables:
    Sequence = 20
    Button Name = DELETE
    Label = Delete
    Region is correct
    Button Position = Region Template Position #DELETE#
    Button Style = Template Based Button
