Is there any API or can we use the Interface tables for adding a line to an existing PO.

In 11.5.10 we can do that using Purchasind document import program, how about 11.5.8, i am not able to find one.

Adding lines to an existing sales order.

Hi all,
A client messaged me today saying they were unable to add a line (right click on a row and click add row) to an existing sales order in B1 (8.81 PL5) I noticed that if you right click on a row that has a "nettable" warehouse you are able to add a line, but you can't with a row that is using a drop ship warehouse. Is this system behavior? If so, is there a high level reason why you can't?

Hi,
Yes you are correct. If use drop ship warehouse, user can't additional row by "add row" option.
Reason is, for drop ship warehouse, system automatically creates purchase order for that item through procurement confirmation wizard. ( Regardless of whether you select check box under logistics tab).

Is there a way to automatically add lines to an existing PO.

Not using auto create, thru standard or private APIs can me systematically insert new lines into an existing PO?
For example consider the following scenario:
ASCP Releases demand thru a Requisition. Requisition Imports into EBS and Creates a PO through Custom program using Standard APIs.
now when the Planner releases more requisitions the way it would work is a New PO gets created. but instead I need this new requisition to automatically be added as new lines in the existing PO
provided the ASL and Sourcing rules are the same.

How to validate multiple lines which is exist in the form builder at the same session

Hi All,
we are working on oracle Forms personalization to trigger the message at the point of saving multiple lines rather than requiring each line to be save individually. Currently the oracle form is allowing to user to enter two distinct lines that have same resource and basis type in BOM.
Currently the Oracle form is allowing to enter the duplicate combination and not giving any error message even we enter the same combination of data.
As per the customer requirement, they don’t want to validate the data while creating the records but when they try to save the form, in that case it should validate all the records at a time then need to display the appropriate message.
Customer don’t want to customize the Oracle standard form. Here we have only option to use form personalization or through custom.pll.
Any idea on how to validate multiple lines which is exist in the form builder at the same session as before inserting the record itself need to perform the validations for all the records.

you can write a post script which will do the necessary tasks.
I mean, once you are done with inserting records into these tables, exeute another procedure which will insert these "extra" records, based on some logic.
you may not be able use DB trigger as it may generate mutating error or if you don't write it carefully, it will go into recursive loops as you are refering to same tables.

Issue in adding Space to the existing Virtual Machine from added repository

I'm facing issue in adding Space to the existing Virtual Machine (Guest OS) from added repository.
Environment details :
VM Server : /OVS => 130GB
/OVS/935970F2CC2D4B4391701397517F1001/ => 512 GB
Things I have done :
•     I created a VM (Guest OS) in the VM Server with 120 GB
•     After creating the VM (Guest OS) , When I tried adding a VIRTUAL DISK of size 150 GB , I got an error “Maximum available Disk space is only 10GB”.
My query :
•     Will I be able to add space to Existing VM from the added Repository ( /OVS/935970F2CC2D4B4391701397517F1001/ ) , whose system.img is stored in path /OVS/running_pool/34_rhel/ .
Kindly help me out in this.

I checked with Oracle on the above and got the info currently , the we can utilise only the space available in the existing repo and cannot extend to additional repo.
Work around is : Clone it to the other repo , or Use Symbolic link .

Adding line item prior to ACC_DOCUMENT03 Posting

Due to our legacy currency alignment on some systems being incongruent with our SAP ECC 6.0 environment, some upstream inbound IDocs will post with 2 decimals for HUF when 6.0 environment has 0 decimals for HUF. The inbound documents are coming in as ACC_DOCUMENT03 IDocs.
There will be rounding involved. iN certain cases, the rounding will mean that the line items are no longer in balance.
Rather than alter the value of the inbound line items, preference is to add line item prior to posting that contains the balance difference and posts to the "rounding difference" account.
Has anyone expereinced this situation before? How was it resolved?
Considered adding line item via "BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST" or, if possible, within "'BAPI_INCOMING_INVOICE_CREATE'".
Has anyone faced this or a simlar issue before? How was it resolved? Was it resolved internally?

There is a note with much information about Tax Postings with accounting BAPIs and it's a consulting note. The note number is 626235.

This featue is only available on iphone running ios 5 or later.

Adding Index server to existing farm, "Server Farm Product and Patch Status" returned 34 Missing Locally required products and patches

Once I connected my new server to my farm's config db, it returned all of the following missing locally. I stripped out any redundancies and Headings, and I'm left with 43. I'm looking for a efficient strategy. Should I start with the lowest version number
and work my way up? Current DB version is 14.0.7015.1000. IIRC, SP2 is cumulative, so can I ignore the first two (SP1 and Hotfix), install SP2, and then the Language packs and etc on top?

This was my process:
Config Wizard:

Reboot

Rerun Config
STILL MISSING
Download oslpksp2010-kb2687462-fullfile-x64-es-es.exe, run, "there are no products affected..."
Uninstall.
Re-retried, only got through the first couple:
Run SharePointServer.exe, get Missing Locally...
Install SP1 officeserver2010sp1-kb2460045-x64-fullfile-en-us.exe, SUCCESSFUL
Install English Lang Pack oslpksp2010-kb2687462-fullfile-x64-en-us.exe, "There are no products affected by this package installed on this system."
Install Spanish Lang Pack oslpksp2010-kb2687462-fullfile-x64-es-es.exe,
Install SP2 oserversp2010-kb2687453-fullfile-x64-en-us.exe, run Config Wizard
I'm now downloading 462150_intl_x64_zip.exe, going to try and install it as step three.

How to set the focus on the new added line in ALV list (OO)

Dear Friends,
I have an ALV list based on OO(using alv_grid->set_table_for_first_display), when I click the 'new' button to add a new line, the mouse arrow is always pointing to the first line - not the new created line for user to input!!.
So how to set the focus (mouse arrow) on the new added line in ALV list for user to input it friendly?

To get the selected line row first we have get all the rows in the internal table.
When u click on the button when it is creating the new line we have to pass the row number to the call method

for this i tried BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE and LE_MOB_DELIVERY_UPDATE.
but both fm doesn't work and this will not add new line in that delivery.
please help me how can i add new line item in delivery.

Object Oriented XML Instances - existing standard?

Hi All
I am in search for a standard/package that can remove
redundancy and reduce inconsistencies in XML. It ought
to be done by using object oriented XML instances. I do
not mean XML schema languages like SOX. The
concept I refer to is used earlier on in the config-file. I
have implemented a simple version but as soon as I
realized its potential I also realized that there has to be
an existing standard out there. I have searched the web
without any luck, but since I am new to XML there is a big
chance that I have missed it. I would be grateful if anyone
could point me in the right direction.
To clarify I have an example. Its a small part from the
config-file used by my database bridge and this part is
used to define fields and tables. Following two attributes
are reserved
1. did - the identity of this instance. The name space for
this definition is restricted to the tag name, but can be
seen from anywhere in the project.
2. eid - the identity of the instance that this instance extends.

As fun as it is to reinvent the wheel, I am trying
not to.

Either there are functions in JAXB that I am missing
or you are misunderstanding me jmwollny. I understand
that given a valid XSD schema JAXB will generate
interfaces and classes that I can work with instead of
working with XML files directly. This is really cool,
but it is not the concept I am looking for. When I
write 'Object Oriented XML Instances' I do not
referring to Java, I mean that the XML elements in the
config-file are capable of inheritance, creating
interfaces, creating abstract elements and more. Here
is a smaller example.

<field did="integer" eid="super" unique="yes"/>If we take a look at the second field where
did="integer", it is inheriting the attribute key="no"
from the field where did="super" since the attribute
eid="super" exists. We can also see that since
polymorphism is supported, unique="yes" in the second
field is replacing unique="no" in the first field.
The reason why I think this is helpful is because it
will reduce redundancy and inconsistencies in the
config-file.
