Addon connection to SAP B1 8.81 PL 9 error

Dear all,
I can not connect my add On from VB6 to SAP B1 8.81 PL9. The error message in SAP B1 is
Connection Error -131 connection to license server failed; if license server address is invalid,correct it; if Tao NT Naming Service stopped,active it and restart license manager.
I check the service and already running. This happen only in PL 9 after i upgrade from PL 4 to PL 9. i also run the add on in PL 4 and it runs well. Did i miss something in PL 9 ? or is there bug in PL 9.

I already follow the step in this thread.
But does not work.
I also already close the firewall, antivirus that i use.
At the same time if my add-on is running using vb.net it works fine.
But when the add-on is running in VB6 ,it can not run from VB6.
Fyi , the VB6 source code is running well from SAP B1 2007 to 8.81 PL4.
Now i still consider if i must upgrade to PL9 or not. Because most of my old add-on is still write in VB6 for the compiler.

Please try the following:
1. Try to set the Add-on loading to Manual, lets try running the program without the Add-on and
lets try to compare the slowness of both scenario and observe if the add-on is the cause of the problem.
2. Is your Application and Database Server are same machine?
Much better if you separate them.
3. Running add-on requires more RAM 4Gig is not enough.
4. What is your SBO version and patch?
5. Try to view in the resource monitor which process takes big consumption of your resources.

DataIntegrator XI R2 couldn't get connection to SAP R/3

Specification:
- Data Integrator XI R2, SAP R/3 4.6C
Problem :
- I'm trying to connect data integrator R2 with SAP R/3 4.6c , and it doesn't work well unfortunately.
When I tried to connect DI with R3(QAS), it works well. but, when I tried to connect DI with R3(PRD), it doesn't work.
Looks like it doesn't work in case R/3 was composed of message servers.
In R3(QAS: Test System), there are only one AS(Application server).
In R3(PRD: Production System), there are 4 AS(Application server) and one of them has a role of messaging service(for Load balancing).
Any advices will help.

Unfortunately BODI is not really sophisticated when it comes down to error reporting in connecting to SAP R/3. The generic error message can mean anything. I assume you got that error message and not a slightly more specific one referring to i.e. cannot access certain rfc functions etc.
I also assume that you could not connect to the SAP system, that the ABAP is not send or triggered and that you did not get back a job number.
You need to check:
SAP BODI account locked / invalid password
That you can reach the SAP server
That you logon to the right SAP logon group. DI lets then the R/3 system handle the load balancing between the application server. I think you can check this by filling in a target host in the SAP R/3 datastore so that DI goes to one application server. Assuming your SAP system does allow this.

Problem when connect to SAP

1) Define a main class, which calls SetApplication and initializes SBO_Application.

2) Create objects of all of your classes in the clsSBO.
3) Whenever ItemEvent or MenuEvent happens, pass the event to the appropriate objects.

Slow addon connection at client

I am using
SAP Business One 8.8 (8.80.236) PL: 18
On server all is fine
But at client machine addon connection is very slow.
I check in Activity monitor that following query takes tooo long time for execution

I have not to write this query in code. I think its internal query of SAP while addon connection.
When client machine connect addon, that time I check in activity monitor and found that takes too time to execute this query.
I also check when no of users connected from sql server at client machine also takes too time to execute.

SAP marca el siguiente error al abrir, estamos en SAP 8.8 SP0 PL 18 y desde el dia que se realizo la actualizacion a dicho parche a los usuarios les salen 2 ventanas que indican error, mas no hemos dado prioridad alta debido a que pese a que salen cada vez que ingresan a B1 no les ha causado conflicto al trabajar.
La primer ventana dice con titulo XL Reporter : Unable to connect to SAP Bussines One.
No se ha encontrado la clave de busqueda solicitada en ningun contexto de activación activa.
La segunda ventana con titulo Mensaje del sistema: No se puede realizar el upgrade del add-on. El archivo AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo no coincide con los datos de la base de datos Common del add-on. Consulte SAP 1323680
De esta ventana esta claro lo que se sugiere en la nota de SAP pero hay un archivo que no hemos podido localizar de nombre "AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo" aprovechando si alguien sabe en que carpeta se ubica se los agradecere.

Ese fichero esta localizado en c:archivos de programasapsap business oneAddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo y hay otro que es AddOnsInstall.sbo
Estos ficheros contienen los Addon instalados. Deberías vaciarlos de contenido.
Editas el fichero con el notepad y en la primera línea debes dejar "" y borrar el resto de texto que hay.
Después deberías también borrar en el temporal del usuario la carpeta "SM_OBS_DLL", para esto tecleas en inicio - ejecutar - %temp% y lo localizas facilmente.
Cuando accedas de nuevo a SAP no detectará ningún addon instalado y forzará la desinstalación e instalación de los addon

AddOn Connection timeout

Hi All,
I m getting Addon Connection timeout error when connecting addon which is created with crystal reports.
I am using single-sign on for connection to company, and using B1DE Addon installer to generate .ard and .exe file.
(does firewall have any part in this? I am able to connect the addon made out of some UI API-DI API sample supplied with SDK.besides, the client has enough of RAM. the exe runs fine in debug mode.)

also,while creating the addon, I have given the maximum allowed installation and uninstallation time.

the only time i had this issue "when the addon starting failed but it is anyway running" i passed the
wrong string. use this c# sample to control your code.

Addon Disconnecting in SAP 2005

Hi
I have problem regarding my customized addon for SAP 2005. This addon is base on my SAP2004 addon I want to use it on SAP 2005. I recompiled the Addon in the SAP2005 environment including the SAP2005 dll's, then created a Addon installer. The installer working fine application run but when I access the other forms like choose company form and business partner form the addon is disconnecting.

The code I am using was copyed from "Tutorial: Developing a Blanket Agreement Solution". Followed it step by step, checked and doubled check. There is also a "Addon connection timed out message" that follows the debug message.

Ok, I looks like it dying out somewhere around this line
SboGuiApi = New SAPbouiCOM.SboGuiApi
if it is not this line then not sure whats going on. It almost seems like the SAPbouiCOM is being flaky... It is acting like it is working then it seems to not be working... That is just crazy but that is where my thinking is... Any other suggestions, or could I be on the right track? Is it possible that there is some security issue that is causing this? What about with the Blanket Tutorial's connection code?

HTTPs connection from SAP WebAS

I have to establish a connection from SAP WebAS to an iSaSiLk server via HTTPS.
The iSaSiLk authentication is based on client certificates.

From the iSaSiLk everything seems to be OK, but on the SAP WebAS the error "none of the PSEs registered with hSsl can suffice the negotiated SSL cipher suite" is really unclear, since the cipher chosen by the iSaSiLk is one of the ciphers sent by SAP WebAS...

Remote Connection from SAP to MS-SQL server

We have been following 2 options so far and we have come across some issues
The first Option is to call a stored procedure (this is our preferred method) which does the data transfer for us
We have been able to test this scenario successfully from SQL Server side
However, while calling the stored proc via native SQL from ABAP we have come across an issue which is due to SQL 2005 changes (Schema implementation and difference in the security context)
While calling the stored procedure from the ABAP Code we have an error
The program short dumps with runtime error DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR, exception CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR. The database error code is 15274, and the error text is
"Access to the remote server is denied because the current security context is not trusted."
This issue is new after the SQL Server 2005.
We are trying to resolve that.
Secondly we have been trying the DBCON option as well as per OSS Note 323151
We have a few things thatu2019s impacting our scenario:
The remote servers are in a different domain
The remote servers are located in DIZ
Remote server is a named instance
Remote server has been configured with a different port than standard (1565) u2013 All Connection strings will need port in there
The Database name starts with a numeric value
Due a combination of factors as mentioned above the standard approach does not work
Have any of you used this approach while connecting from SAP to MS-SQL server? Do you know of any successful methods to connect to SQL using ABAP (or not) from SAP.

I have a scenario to configure a SAP DB Connection from SAP BI System on HP UNIX 11i to the external legacy system MS SQL 2000 Enterprise for data upload. I am interested in connecting the SQL server as a Source System to the BI System.
I read through documents mentioning about installation of a Client driver in the SAP BI System, I also downloaded the JDBC client software and tried installing the same, but the steps as mentioned Setting the CLASSPATH or connecting to the server did not work.
Please help me in connecting the SQL Server as Source System, I would like to know in detail about the same - so kindly help me with the links to documents and guides about the same.

Short answer: this does not work.
Long answer: To connect directly to the database you need
- a database client for the source system
- a database interface library for the source system
Both of them are not available for HP-UX if the target database is SQL server --> doesn't work.
What you can do is: add a Windows application server to your BI system (heterogeneous installations work and are supported) and add there the database client and the database interface library.

Connection from SAP ERP 6 to B1i2007

Hello,
the test-connection between B1i and SAP is working, but when trying to test the connection from SAP to B1i, SAP gives the error mesaage that "the program is not registered".
The B1i-System seems to be not registered in the SAP and it is only shown as "external client" (and not as registered server).
Another problem is that in B1i we have entered as programID-name "B1iRFC" but SAP shows "tomcat5" as TP-name.
I thought B1i would register automatically on the SAP with the name of the programm-id entered.
Do we have to change someting in the tomcat-server or where to find the problem?

thank you for your answer, but in R/3 I define a RFC-connection with a registered server programm by using the programID out of the B1i-RFCP-configuration, right?
And when trying to make a test-connection, I got an error message that there is no registered program with this programID.
I thought that B1i have to be registered in SAP or in the SAP-Gateway with the name of this programID.
I think my problem is the registered server program in R/3. Where do I get this program and how to register in the R/3 gateway? Isn't the tomcat-server this program?

connection from SAP to our systems involving 2 saprouters
we have 1 saprouter inside a dmz and another for connecting to our systems.
we are guessing that this is possible
SAP (sapserv2) -
SNC----> saprouter1 (DMZ, SNC connection) -
> saprouter2 (P * * 3200) ---> SAP1, SAP2...
But how could we do that?
How can we let SAP know that they need to connect to 2 saprouters instead of 1?
The "Mantain System Data" in sap service marketplace only lets us introduce 1 saprouter.
And how should be the saproutettab of the 2 saprouters?

As far as my experience goes with this you have to maintain both router information in oss1 tcode
Also mention second router on the second router tab on the SMP data
I hope it should work with that as it will automatically create router table
