Adobe Acrobat XI Error 1935

I currently have Acrobat Professional 9.5.4 loaded on my system, but I'm trying to load Acrobat Profession XI, and keep getting the below error message:
Error 1935:  An error occurred during the installation of assemble component.  {76C3F0F6-9B9D-35DA-81C6-CA8A88CC93CA}  HRESULT:  0x8007370B
I've tried the below suggestions and all have failed:
1)  Set RegistrySizeLimit to 4294967295
2)  Installed .net Framework 4.5 (upgraded from 4.0
3)  cleared the transation log with DOS command
What's unusual is that I am unable to load Acrobat XI, but I can uninstall and reinstall Acrobat 9.5.4.  You would think once I'm unable to load the Acrobat XI (after uninstalling Acrobat 9.5.4), I would no longer have the ability to reinstall 9.5.4.
Could someone please help me with this issue--I've been working on it for about a week now, AND due to the time it took me to load Windows 7, (with STIGS, IAVMS, SECURITY PATCHES, PROGRAMS) reloading the OS is not an option.

Hi,
You may disable antispyware and antivirus software or remove adware or spyware from your computer and then install Acrobat or Adobe Reader as BrianD_22932 mentioned.
As I known, a certain type of adware running on the system can cause 1935 errors.
I would like to suggest you remove adware and then install Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
1. Start the Task Manager.
2. Look at the Processes tab. Look for a  process named wtoolsa.exe.
3. If this process is running, then you remove this adware.
4. Install Acrobat or Adobe Reader again.
In some cases, the 1935 error results from orphaned registry keys from a different version of the .NET Framework than the one being installed. Uninstalling the .NET
frameworks, removing orphaned registry keys that can remain, then reinstalling the .NET Framework can help in this situation.
Regarding the error 1935, it seems this is a general Acrobat related issue, I would like to share the link below with you:

Please follow the steps from the link above to fix the issue.

  • Problem installing adobe x11 trial Error 1935

after downloading with adobe download assistant it gets about 90% through the installation then encounters a problem and undose everything and the green status bar goes back to the left. what can i do i really need to use this trial by morning. please help thanks

Are you on Windows Vista? I found an old document reagrding this error: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/error-1935-install-acrobat-reader.html. Could you run through the document and see if it helps to install.
I also checked the System Requirements, but I don't see support for Microsoft Vista. It just might work absolutely fine on Vista, but I would still suggest installing on a supported platform.

  • Error with Adobe Acrobat X "error opening the document. The file is damaged and could not recover"

    Good morning,
I have a problem when generating PDF files with Adobe Acrobat X.
When I give print a Word document 2003 ... 2007 ... 2010 ... and select a network drive to save the PDF file, I get the following error "error opening the document. Thefile is damaged and not could recover."
The file is saved on your drive well ... but I always get this error.
    Any ideas???
    Thank you.

First of all thanks for responding.
The installed version of Adobe's Adobe OS X and Windows XP machines is thelatest patch level.
The local system .... works well ... Open Office 2010 ... create a new Word document and save it locally ... and all good.
The problem is though that same machine ... it enters network (not Windows network. OES2 is a network with Novell network client) ... and to open and create a new document to WORD .... when printing the PDF printer ... select a network drive... and when the document is saved well ... but it shows the error.
I have an amount of hours lost with this ... I hope you can help me find a solution.
    Thank you very much.

Running into the same issue over here. It seems like it has to do with applying a transform to the installation, so it could be related with a particular setting put in place using the Adobe Customization Wizard.
It's really kind of hit or miss, because it appears to affect those with previous versions of Acrobat or Reader installed, but that isn't always the case.
Had this happen to systems that haven't had any sort of Adobe product installed prior.
It's always the same thing too. Error 1603 is spit out after it can't remove select files in C:\Windows\Installer
After digging through the system, the files that it's looking to delete aren't even there to begin with.

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
    Error code: 4625DD4-1F701939-000036B1
This error seems to occur only after the application has been opened about 10 times. It can be resolved by reloading and refreshing the application in the AppV client or by restarting the VDE session. However we haven’t yet identified a permanent solution. We have also attempted to change the subsystem value in the OSD to “Windows”.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,
This error most likely exists due to missing VC++ Components on the client.
The recommendation would be to add all VC++ on both the machine you sequence on, and all clients if using App-V 4.X

    App-V 5.0 SP2 remediated the errors, see this blog-post;

  • Adobe Acrobat Update Error 1612

I work in IT and I am trying to get Adobe Acrobat Standard 9.3.3 to update to the security patch, 9.3.4.  It is not working at all.  It comes up and says it will download and install but comes up with this:
When I click details it sends me to this link: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/852/cpsid_85258.html
This was no help at all as my error code was not even included.  I have tried uninstalling the program and a pop-up box comes up that says the same thing as the window above.  I tried running a repair or reinstalling it with the same result.  Please Help!  I need a solution so that I can get this updated and know what to do if this continues to be an issue.
    Thanks!
    Nate

You can try to validate all values in the SourceList registry under the key that looks like the one below:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\68AB67CA3301004F7706000000000000
Depending on the flavor of the Acrobat installed on your system, it may look a bit different, but
68AB67CA3301004F7706000000000000 portion always starts from 68AB67......
By validate I mean you need to make sure that all referenced pathes exist.
There is one more file that Windows Installer Service is relying on - this file is the original AcroPro.msi or AcroStd.msi file cached in the C:\Windows\Installer folder and renamed to something like 9f32196.msi (numbers are random)
For Acrobat Pro it should be around 6 MB - almost the same size as in the original installer package.
Double check that the file exists.
If it does not help, your best bet is to cleanup Acrobat from the system using recommended tools and start over.
Do not delete any files manually - it will corrupt your system further.

  • Installing Adobe Acrobat Pro - Error 1317 or 1310

Ok, this is a complicated back-story.  Wasting third day trying to setup my old PC for my mom (new one coming tomorrow).
So first I did a clean XP install on one partition.  Then through it installed windows 7 on second partition.
On the Win7 partition, first time I tried to installed Adobe Acrobat Professional I got an error during install.  I think it was 1310.  Then I decided to try to install Office 2003, got same error about 20% through.  Very strange.  I messed with some folder permissions, ran as administrator, even tried creating an administrator account and installing in there, same result.
Then I decided to re-install everything again from scratch.  Formatted the disk, made new partitions, installed XP, installed Win7 Pro.  Tried to install office 2003 first, that worked.
Then tried to install Acrobat 8 Pro again, error 1310.  Then download Acrobat 9 Pro from Adobe to see if a newer version might do the trick.  Similar error 1317, this on about attempting to create a directory in program files\adobe\acrobat9.0\designer8.2\de\templates.
Interestingly, the story doesn't stop there.  After one of these errors happens, I think it causes some sort of file system error.  One time I got a baloon setup_wm (if I remember right) something about file system being corrupt and unstable.  And if I try to open a browser after that things don't work.  If I reboot, it runs chkdsk and everything seems fine after, but no matter what I try I can't get passed that error.
    Any ideas?

I had a failure to install Acrobat Pro 8 on a windows 7 machine with several tries and failing with Error 1310 every time until I did this:
start->type uac in the run box then clik on "Change user account control settings" located at the top of the list
drag the slider all the way to the bottom, this turns UAC off
    restart the computer
install your software and get any updates needed
the turn uac back on and restart
    worked for me

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader error code (103:103)

I cannot open online PDF files as I keep getting error code (103:103) then asks me to exit and try again.

The  etc etc refers to the usual standard message as follows - also re Acrobat I was merely repeating the message given.
'there is a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader. If it is running exit and try again (103:103)' this was the exact message given. I had version 11.0.08 which I have now deleted and am using an earlier version 10.0.4 which seems to have resolved the problem for the time being

  • Adobe Acrobat XI: Error Adobe Acrobat is not activated. Cannot create PDF File.

After installing Acrobat XI Pro on Windows 7 Ent. w/Office 2010.
From MS Word, select Save as PDF, I recieve "Adobe Acrobat is not activated. Cannot create PDF file."
Any and all troubleshooting has failed.
Uninstall Acrobat, language packs, re-install, install updates, Install on fresh image.

kglad  your link refers to Windows XP. As to the rest it is questionable. First of all it would be nice to know the cause, before fixing the problem. For in some cases eliminating the cause will solve problems later on. So, in my case for ex. The problem did not exist until I protected my Word 2010 document and then saved it to PDF--which it would not allow to do so and giving the error message stated above.

  • Adobe Acrobat/Reader error

In trying to print a PDF file I get the error message: "There is a problem with Adove Acrobat/Reader.  Please exit Adobe Acrobat/Reader and try again."  When I do, the same thing happens.
Last week I was notified by my computer that there was an update to the Adobe Reader to 9.3.1 which I installed.  I did not have a problem printing PDF files before this update but I do not know that there is a direct cause and effect.
Adobe's response is that I'm getting all the help I've paid for in my free download.

You need to uninstall, clean up the installer and reinstall Reader.
Uninstall from the Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs in XP, Programs and Features in VIsta or 7)
Download, install and run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility  (msicuu2.exe) to remove the Reader 9 installer files as well as any previous versions which may be on your system.
Redownload and reinstall Adobe Reader 9.
It should work without errors after that.

  • Adobe Acrobat XI error code 16

    Hope somebody can help.
I have a customer who is constantly getting error code 16 when they are trying to run Adobe Acrobat XI.
The error code appears about 5 seconds after running the program and then has to be closed.  The clean up tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs has been run and does not seem to have cured the problem.

    Hey,
You might need to refer this kb file to resolve the issue:

  • Adobe Acrobat 7 errors when exiting.

We arfe using Adobe Acrobat 7 professionsl and Adobe reader 9.2 on one of our systems here.  Recentyly on exiting we have noted that Acrobat proffesional displays an eoor, please see attached files.  Is there any way to stop this happening?

I have tried re installing both programs that did not help.  After un installing all versions of reader and also Acrobat Pro, when just Acrobat Poro was re installed that we still had this problem.
This is a new issue which started after the latest update to Acrobat Pro previously we had been running for years with both Reader and Pro on this System.  Unfortunately the ONLY update to Acrobat 7 Pro that is still available is the latest one with this bug in it.

  • Why Do I Keep Getting Adobe Acrobat Installer Errors?

This is the third time I have received this error.

do you have another version of acrobat installed?
if so, (and it's not part of a creative suite), run the cleaner, http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
    restart your computer
and then log into https://creative.adobe.com/ and restart your download of acrobat xi.
if not, log into https://creative.adobe.com/ and restart your download of acrobat xi.
