Adobe Encore leaving deep voice project after export

come through this ask for help when I export my project done in Encore people's voices principalmentes women they are serious;
can someone give me a help

The OS you are using is unsupported.
This means that no results are guaranteed - at all.
It also means you are on your own if you insist on using unsupported OS.
Just because it worked once before does not mean it will ever work again. A simple Vista update or a driver update could change things completely. This is what "unsupported" means.
Sorry.

  • Re-opening a STP Multitrack Project after exporting Mixdown to FCP

    Hello-
I'm running Soundtrack Pro 2.0.2 with FCP 6.0.5 and am sending my sequences from the timeline to an STP Multitrack Project. I have edited the audio as needed, and exported the final mixed tracks back to FCP choosing .xml import and open in a new FCP Sequence for my options. The new sequence opens fine, complete with the new audio tracks lined up with the originals which are conveniently muted. Up until this point in my workflow, I'm good to go, and my exported audio sounds great - until I realized there were several more audio edits that I needed to make before finalizing the project.
Now, in the STP Manual, it states that to re-open a multitrack project after it has been exported to FCP is as simple as control-clicking the "mixdown" file (which is presumably the same thing as the imported .xml file...?) in the open sequence and clicking "Open in Editor." (Note: I do have my prefs in FCP set to STP for ext. audio AND video editors so that I can send over linked a/v files) BUT - it also says that when you click on "Open in Editor" that i should be prompted with the option to open only the audio file or open the project. After following these steps, I am not getting prompted to make this choice; the mixdown automatically opens itself in STP as the single .aiff audio file created during export and not as the original multitrack project, as the manual suggests.
Am I making a careless mistake somewhere in here that I am overlooking? Have I provided enough information to get the help that I need? Any help here would be EXTREMELY appreciated.
    -Meghan

There is a mismatch somewhere which is causing this sync problem.
Next thing to try - does your STP project sample rate match the sample rate of the audio in your FCP project?
In the STP project, on the projects tab, is "none" selected in the pullup/pulldown section, both audio and video?
In some cases, changing a frame rate can change the speed of the video, causing sync problems, so the earlier discussion about frame rates wasn't just semantics or terminology issues. I understand your frustration, but I was trying to help by ruling frame rate problems out.

  • Should I keep Events and Projects after Exporting my edits?

When I finish editing a video I export it, usually at Large 960x540, or sometimes HD, (even though my camera doesn't do HD) to my hard drive. I make a fair few movies, and often need to burn them to disc/dvd, which I can then do by going back into iMovie and simply exporting to DVD.
The problem now is that my iMovie events and Projects are taking up so much space, so my question is - does burning an exported file to DVD result in a lower quality outcome than burning a project directly to DVD? I'm basically assessing the feasibility of deleting all of the stuff out of iMovie and just keeping my final exports?
    Thanks, Dan

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. however, it seems that your events are taking up too much HD space. External HDs are cheap these days and you could sill save the raw footage on an external HD, There are various ways to migrate it there so that iMovie still recognizes the sources of the project, even when the sources (event clips) are stored on an external HD.
I would NOT have/use a DVD as my permanent record of a movie, DVD is just too degraded. HOwever if you really want to rid yourself of the events and open up space, you could export your movie (as you have done) into a Quicktime movie. I have found those look as good (almost or just as good) as the imovie project pre-export. THAT file you could STORE anywhere, on your HD, on a flash memory , or burn on a DVD (as a storage medium, not converted to a DVD) and you will then have a good to excellent version of your movies.
The projects take up little space, they are just information of where to find the events music etc, it is the Events that take up space. SO I would buy an external large HD and move them there, or if not, I would make sure before i trash the events that I have a good looking exported AT version of my movies (share large or HD as you mentioned).

  • Encore CS5.1 - Black project after flash build

When I export my encore project to flash all my videos are black, can't see anything.
Everything works fine though in preview mode, I can see everything.
What could I be doing wrong?

I am playing locally.  I read on another forum with someone who had grey project they had to rename their source files because it included characters that was messing with the xml file.
I don't really know how xml works but I tried doing the same thing since i recall having many hyphens, but that didn't do anything either.
I don't understand what could be causing this to happen.
Do you NEED time lines in Encore?  I have Menu with 5 buttons, split to 5 additional menus (with buttons).  Every menu I have has a background video (mp4) attached to it.  They all loop/connect to each other.   It's like a browse products type of thing.
Now preview works perfectly, but does not having a timeline have anything to do with my problem?  I don't see why it would be a problem, but this is my first time using this program.

  • I've lost my audio in the project, after exporting

I exported my project, and then wanted to modify the project still further- which I did. Only to find that all of my own audio has disappeared- that is, the green tabs are still there in the timelines, but they don't play anymore. Only the Apple jingles and sound effects are still audible. Did exporting it close it down somehow definitively?
    Any help gratefully appreciated.

  • My subtitles in Adobe Encore are extremely pixelated

My subtitles in Adobe Encore are extremely pixelated, even after I change the quality of the project. Any ideas how to make the text crisp and a nice looking resolution? The text should be flawless I would imagine- it's only text!
    Using CS5.5
Created and imported .txt file subtitles (currently don't have the means to create a .scc file)
The project settings are 1280x720, 29fr
I am using a simple text, Arial, 22pt, Bold outline.
The quality of the text is horrible! Help!
See screen shot below-- this is viewing at 200%

I'm sort of having the same problem. My most problematic text is a vector logo that is text based (thick script and sans serif). The original logo was created in Illustrator. My exported video (with scale-animated logo at the end) looks good enough, and I created a menu in Photoshop that also contains the logo in the background. I scaled the vector down when I placed it in both these instances. Previewing these elements in Encore CS6 they still look sharp and clear. But then burn the DVD, and the DVD played back looks awful. The entire menu is pixelated, but the script logo is the worst. Its terribly pixelated with humongous jaggies (the original video is HD 1440x1080 and the menu is also formatted that size). Then when the logo comes on in the video it is hard to read and there are black horizontal lines going through it.
I've tried changing project settings (not many options there) and export settings, but nothing I do helps the final burnt DVD at all.

  • Adobe Encore CS6 crashes upon opening; just downloaded Premiere CC

I just installed Adobe Premiere Pro CC on my PC, and I need Encore to author DVD and Blu-Rays.  I previously had CS6 (uninstalled it all before I installed CC), but I did not re-install Adobe Encore CS6 until after I installed Premiere CC.  I cannot get Adobe Encore to work now.  After I create a filename, the program crashes with a pop-up window that says, "Adobe Encore has stopped working.  A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
How do I get Encore CS6 to work after installing the latest Premiere Pro CC (version 8)?
Since Encore is no longer supported, what other option do I have to author DVDs and Blu-Rays?

  • Very poor video quality after transcoding in Adobe Encore CS5.1

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I have very poor video quality after transcoding the video file (MPEG) in  Adobe Encore CS5.1. Below you see my used settings in my filmproject.
The problem exists after transcoding in Adobe Encore CS5.1. I checked all steps and found out that there is no problem until transcoding. My exported file  in MPEG has very good video and audio quality.
    Facts:
    1. Camcorder: Panasonic AG-AC160AEJ
Operating System : Windows 7, 64 Bit, Ultimate edition
    Source files: MTS files
    Recording settings (clip settings):
    Type: MPEG Movie
    Image Size: 1920 x 1080
    Frame Rate: 25,00
Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - Stereo
Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,0
    2. Sequence settings in Premiere Pro
Sequence was created from Clip directly with settings above.
    3. Exporting settings in Adobe Premiere Pro:
Match sequence settings was activated. Now other changes were set.
    4. Exported File:
    Video
    Image Size: 1920 x 1080
    Data Transfer Rate: 25920 kBit / s
    Frame rate: 25
    Audio:
    Bit rate: 384 kBit / s
    Channels: 2 (stereo)
    Frequence: 48 kHz
    5. Transcoding settings in Adobe Encore:
I used different transcoding settings such as automatic DVD Transcoding, CBR and VBR.I also set “use maximum render quality”. But all results were always the same: very poor quality.
Why does the encore transcoding cause such bad video quality?
How can I solve this problem?
    Please help me soon.
    Best regards.

    Hi Ann,
    1) I did not only „Automatic (based on source)“ options in my tests, but also many other customized options.
The results are very poor. I have done a new test with the following settings. The result is also poor:
    Download link: http://www.klavierlehrer-bayern.de/download/test_mpeg2dvd_1.m2v
    Export Settings:
    Format: MPEG2-DVD
    Preset: Custom
Codec: MainConcept MPEG Video, Quality: 5
    Frame Rate: 25 fps
    Field Order: Upper
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Automatic (based on source)
    Render at Maximum Rate: [active]
    Bitrate Encoding: VBR, 2 pass
    Minimum Bitrate (Mbps): 5
    Target Bitrate (Mbps): 9
    Maximum Bitrate (Mbps): 9
    GOP Settings
    M Frames: 4
    N Frames: 12
    Use Maximum Render Quality: [active]
    Multiplexer: None
    2) Why shouldn’t I use the “Match Sequence Settings” in exporting? Because of the big output file size?
I used it and the results are very good as I expected:
    Download link: http://www.klavierlehrer-bayern.de/download/test_MatchSequenceSettings.mpeg
    Export Settings
    Match Sequence Settings [selected]
    1920 x 1080, 25 fps, Upper, Quality 50
    User Maximum Render Quality: [active]
    3) I tried also Dynamic Link in PremierePro (to Encore).
    The results are also poor.
    4) I will test also LagarithLoslessCodec and frameserving +DGMPGDec. But the video is vertical long drawn-ot.
I think I did not use it correctly.
    Regards

  • Encore CS4 transcodes entire project for 1 exported sequence

Hello All.  I am relatively new to Premiere Pro and Encore.  I'm using CS4 and have the following problem:  I have a Sequence in Premiere Pro that has 5 clips of roughly 1.5 mins each -- a total of 7.5 minutes.  If I export that sequence to Encore using the Dynamic Link function Encore transcodes the entire Project before burning the 5 clips to DVD.  Since the project has several hundred clips this transcoding takes about 1 1/2 hours.  If I import the 5 clips directly into Encore as Assets, it only transcode the 5 clips taking about 20 seconds each.  My question is why does Encore think it has to transcode the entire project and, more importantly, is there a way to change this behaviour.  Surely it should recognized that there are only 5 clips to burn and transcode only those.  Is there a setting I am missing?
    Thanks in advance!
    William

Hi and thanks for the response.  The PP sequence settings are:
    Editing Mode: 1080i
    Timebase: 29.97 fps
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Anamorphic 1080
    Fields:  No Fields (Progressive Scan)
    Display Format: 30fps Drop-Frame Timecode
    (I'm omitting the Audio settings)
The properties for the clips are all the same(except for duration):
    Type: MPEG Movie
    File Size: 205.2 MB
    Image Size: 1440 x 1080
    Pixel Depth: 32
    Frame Rate: 29.97
Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - Stereo
Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo
    Total Duration: 00;01;03;15
Average Data Rate: 3.2 MB / second
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.3333
The transcode settings are the default (I key them in if it helps) for a DVD (not Bluray).
i don't export it without using Dynamic Link.  The alternate method I used was to run Encore stand alone then create a new project (again default transcode settings) and I import the clips directly (File-Import As-Asset).
Something to note:  When I export the sequence from PP what gets shows up in the Encore project is:
    Name                                                  Type
    Demo_Seq/HDV1 Project.prproj        Timeline
    Demo_Seq/HDV1 Project.prproj         Premiere Pro Sequence
When I click build what it says it's transcoding is: Transcoding HDV1 Project.prproj(Video).  This is the name of the entire project, not the sequence, and transcoding the entire project is consistent with the amount of time it takes.  When I import the individual clips it says it is transcoding Clip1, Clip2 ... and the amount of time it takes is consistent with transcoding only the individual clips.  It may also be noteworthy that after importing the sequence the individual clips are not present on the timeline looks as if it's a single clip.
I hope this is what you needed.
    Thanks

  • Still frames in project turn blurry after exporting to QuickTime

My sequence (standard definition) looks flawless when I play it back in FCP7 -- but after exporting it to QuickTime (export to QuickTime, self-contained movie, recompress all frames) a few of the still photos throughout the project are now quite blurry.
    Any solutions?

ah I see, well the freeze frame is just taking one field of your material (half the resolution as its interlaced not progressive) and inventing the other half to make up the rest of the information so I'm not surprised its looking blurry on output, the reason you're not seeing it before on your screen is that you never see full res on the canvas until you output unless you use a third party output device like Matrox or Aja.
I don't know if there are any tricks to sharpen this up (other than sharpen). I guess you could try de-interlacing the rest of the footage first? but stills out of dv res material are never going to be crystal clear.
    good luck with it
    Andy
