ADOBE FORM: Start new page at subform

Hello,
in the interface of my adobe form i have a table.
I created a subform with binding to the table row.
This works so far.
But i want now that for each table row (= subform) a new page is started at the PDF.
How could this be realised?

These can be done via options in Pagination tab for the "Body Row" of table.
I just tried a sample as follows and it kind of worked.
form1
|-- Subform // Object palette --> Subform tab --> Make its Content property to Flowed.
|---- Table1
|---- Row 1
// Object Palette --> Type is Body Row
// Object Palette --> Pagination --> After : Go To Next Page
// Object Palette --> Binding --> Selected Repeat Row for each Data Item and made its min count as 5
Only thing is that I am getting a blank page at end but then may be this can point you in some direction and you will solve that for us

ADOBE FORM - Start subform on current page only if space is there

Hello,
i have created an adobe form for printout of CRM business partner details.
The form consists of several subforms.
Each subform consists of a text as header and a table.
examples for the subforms:
- contact persons of account
- opportunities of account
- quotations of account
- orders of account
- servicerequests of account
now i face the issue that in some cases the header text of the subform is on the end of one page and the table starts at the next page. How can i configure my adobe form in a way that subform starts only on current page if there is enough space for at least 1 table entry?

Sorry but i do'nt think that's possible to check dynamically if there is enought place on the form for at least one table line .
Perhaps you can explore this kind of solution
Subform 1 => Table content => Allow page break
Subform 1-1 => "New Header" this one can't allow page break
Subform 1-1-1 => Real Header
Subform 1-1-2 => First item
Subform 1-2 => Items form line 2 to x.... Allow page break
For this you must modify the context of the form because your table will be read from line 2 to ... and you must add a single record for line 1.
Also if you want to repeat the real header forms on page break, you can set it on subform 1-2 when overflow is needed.

How to reorder / move new pages and subform instances

I have a form that has 2 functions - show a hidden page and duplicate the Page 1 and I need to reorder the pages once the user has added an instance or shown a page. I have Form A (Page 1) that can be duplicated but the user can add in a Form C (extra page) to be attached at the end of that instance of Form A. So it goes like this:
Form A (Page 1)
button 1 - Adds new page 2 "Form C" to end of that "Form A"

It's a little complicated but I would appreciate any help at all!

Ahh, thank you. I just moved Form C into Form A subform group, it works and stays attached to that instance of Form A. Here's another issue... now that I have Form C appended to Form A, when I add in another Form A it correctly gets added after the last Form C but how can I get the form focus to go to the top of that new instance of Form A?
Currently I am using: xfa.host.pageDown()
But now it would be skipping down a few pages. Is there a way to also move to the top of that new instance?

Adobe Form's First Page printing perfectly on 132 column sheet but further pages prints with small font size

Dear All,
We are facing a strange behavior of adobe form.
we made form for SAP CRM which is printing in 132 column(28cm * 33cm) sheet. what we are observing is, first page is printing perfectly on the pre printed Invoice sheet but if invoice has more items to be displayed then second page prints with small font size or you can say second page seems to be zoomed out to smaller page size. In Preview Second page onwards also looks perfect. Now we are in a fix what to do to come out of this issue.
efforts made:-
Adobe Page Size Adjusted.
Select paper Source by Page Size ticked in Adobe form properties
But still result is non satisfactory. Please Help.

a) The size of the pages of PDF which you are printing. LETTER
b) Does all pages of the PDF are of same size? YES
c) What is the page size set in the Printer and what is the actual size of the paper which you have put in the tray? LETTER
d) Does this problem also happens on the virtual printer which you might have on your system (Try either Microsoft MPS Document writer or Adobe PDF Printer) No VIRTUAL PRINTERS

Cannot start new page/access templates

Mac Mini. OSX 10.4.8
iLife installed from iLife disks, iWeb v. 1.1.2 from disk - Family Pack
iWeb is working on one computer.
iWeb will not work on the Mac Mini - it starts but the New Page from File menu is grayed out, as are all other commands. Cannot access templates either.
I do not see a newer version on downloads, not sure what to do.

This is a fairly common problem. The easiest approach is to open iPhoto, pick a photo or an album, and either click the iWeb button at the bottom of the iPhoto screen or go to the Share menu and choose iWeb. It may take several tries, but eventually iPhoto should force iWeb to open and ask you to choose a template. After that the controls should work for you.
Several months ago I read up on the problem in these forums and compiled a list of solutions based on posts here. If the iPhoto doesn't work, take a look at the other options listed here.

Convert numeric in words in adobe forms (start with the currency)

Below script i found here for converting numeric into words and its work perfectly. Just I edit in UAE currency.
It is possible to move the dirhams (currency) in front like. 1,900,000.55 = Dirhams One Million Nine Hundred Thousand and Fifty Five fils Only. (with period)
or 1,900,085.55 = Dirhams One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Eight Five and Fifty Five fils.
Previous code was One Million Nine Hundred Thousand Eighty-Five Dirhams and Fifty-Five Fils

Hi RK,
We had a similar requirement and we used Web Dynpro for Java which contained the Interactive Form that would display the personnel area, personnel sub area, etc.
We developed a custom application in WD Java which would accept entries from the user on each screen after clicking on the Change Personnel area link in the portal. The user would put in the values and when the user would click on the Submit button, an adobe form would be displyed which would show the existing values as well as the values the user newly entered.

Not letting me start new page.

I just created my .mac username and opened iWeb for the first time and I am unable to click NEW PAGE, NEW SITE, SAVE, PUBLISH TO .MAC etc. I am also unable to click on text, shapes, forward, backward, and mask on the bottom of the screen.
I am not sure what the problem is. Does anyone have a clue?

Quit iWeb, go to Home Folder/Library/Preferences and delete the com.apple.iWeb plist file and then relaunch.
If that doesn't do it, repeat the above, do a restart of your Mac and run Disk Utility to repair permissions and try again.

How to display multiple records in smart forms in new page for each record

I want each record to be displayed in seperate page.

Do this ,
in the main window - open a loop on your internal table ,
within the loop open the text and give the output fields,
after this text use the Command node and in this set the next page as page1,
so when the loop gets executed its first record will be on the first page and the second record will be on the next page and so on ..

Adobe form only first page is displayed

I have created two pages under the Master page but only the First page is getting displayed. Both are set to visible. Whatelse could be the reason. Thanks.

Can you please elaborate more on this. Have you added 2 body pages or 2 master pages?
If you have added 2 body pages and if they are empty then they wont get displayed. You will have to insert a subform into the page. Only then you would be able to see the extra two pages.

Error in Adobe form based in a xml interface when changing data element

The adobe form is called from a web dynpro.
The adobe form contain a page and subforms (positioned y flowered).
The form worked out perfectally.
Then edited a descriptive text in a data element, from se11. The form continues worked out correctelly.
Then modify a fixed text from the form. The form is activated.
Since this modification, the form stopped to work out, informing the following message:
"WebDynpro Exception: The ADS call has failed. You can find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application server".
I have updated the nodes of the web dynpro, the xml interface of the form, is all activated and this is still not working.
Someone could help me? Does anyone know what it could be happened?
Is there a way to re-generate the form?

The data element is char 4. I have only changed descriptive texts.
I have take take all the objects to the previous version (data element, wd view, interface xml, adobe form), and the form is still not working.
Do you have another posible solution for this?

Hiding second page in adobe forms

hi all,
I have a adobe form with 2 pages. My first page needs to be displayed always whereas the second page needs to be displayed only for certain conditions. Please let me how this can be done asap. Thanks in advance.

Hi Vinod,
Here are the Steps to hide the Page, I don't know on what conditions you are going to dispay the second page,
But the general steps are as follows:
1) Go to Layout
2) Go to Hierarchy Tab
3) Select the Page / Subform that needs to be Hidden or to be made Invisible
4) Go to "Paletts" menu item--> select "Objects" option from it
5) Objects tab will be selected by default
5.1) Select the Master page/ Page/ Subform (Tab)
5.2) Use the "Presence" property to hide the pages you want, i.e.,
Select the value for the "Presence" field from the dropdown,
5.3) Select Invisible / Hidden (Exclude from Layout)

Adobe Form -Interactive -Subform dissappear after Click

I have a Interactive form with a Native submit button with single MAIN view .
I am poupulating the form intially in WDOINIT method & I am trying to do some calculations on the form using submit click.
Here is what i am doing onclick.After I click submit button item form dissappears completely .
When I debug i see all the entries in the table lt_material but it doesn't shows up in the form.
I don't have anycode in other Methods.What could be the reason? I can use scripts too but I need to use this functionality for other requirement.

I am using Onsubmit event which is the only avaialble option on form properties.
I just named event as CLICK but I changed it now to submit but it is still doing the same .
Itemform is dissappearing on click.

Queries Related to Adobe Form

Hi Friends,
I have some queries related to Adobe Form. Our client is willing to replicate purchase order and shopping cart scenarios from SRM to Adobe Form.
But I am not sure whether we can achieve the functionalities or not. Our client requires to know the below answers.
1. He wants to know whether any sub screen can be developed in ADOBE form or not. For example, in PO, each line item has an account determination which has multiple entries (for example each and every line item will have more than 1 account assignments). In SRM the account assignment is entered in a second (sub) screen to enter multiple values. Whether this can be done in ADOBE form or not?.
2. He wants to know whether the search help can be provided as same as ECC/SRM in ADOBE form or not. For example, when we select the vendor he does not want to bring the list of all the vendors from LFA1 table. He wants to restrict based on come condition such as company code and user should able to key in the company code to filter the vendors associated with that company code. How this can be done in ADOBE form.
3. He wants to know, what is the best approach to develop either ADOBE form or portal page. Which one is feasible to develop cost effective and time consuming. Also he wants to know the performance impact of both approaches. Finally he wants to know the merits and demerits for both approaches (ADOBE Form and portal web page development).
Friends it would be a great help to me if you can send me the answers for the following.

P also used for Production/process related equipments needs calibrations often
2.While creating a maintenance plan,which category do we choose, maintenance order or quality maintenance order?

Its all depends on config you have did. if Quality maintenance order should be linked to inspection type.can be used.
we can not used maintenance order if it is not linked to inspection type 14.
3.Is it that we can't do a time confirmation before results recording?If I try to do so,I get this message"No open operation recieving confirmation entries for order".

You can do time confirmation after result recording, then UD.after UD ,order will be TECOed automaticlay.
4.While I create my maintenance plan,I get this message, a counter could not be defined for the reference object.Why so?

Check any measuring counters created for the equipments,
5.After usage decision,if I lock my equipment for further use,the equipment has the status both AVLB and NPRT.Why?
Ans:
After UD, system changes the status NPRT for the equipments have PRT view only.
if PRT view maintained in the equipment, system status remains AVLB.
If you dont to use the equipment after UD-Reject,have to go development using user status.
6.Can I create my calibration order manually and assign equipment task list.If so,how?
Ans:
Yes. you can
Create task list with 300 inspection point, assign when u create order
also you can have manual call in the maintenance plans.

Terms and conditions in a new page in PO pdf

Hi,
I have set the profile values for PO:Terms and conditions and PO:In file path to my text file. I was expecting the terms in a new page but it was showing it after the Line information in the last page instead of starting a new page. Any idea on how to insert a page break in XSL-FO style sheet? the comment says the text file is displayed in new page,,,
