I know, I shouldn't be compiling flex for the iPad yet, but I gotta!

Solved IOS 6 issue with headphone remote

Upgraded my Iphone 4S to IOS 6 and my Klipsch headphone remot would not work. Volume buttons worked, and the center button would start playing music, but it would not stop or pause the songs. I tried my original Apple earbugs with the remote and did not have any problems. The I used the Klipsch again, and now they work great.

I was facing all sorts of issues with my earphone controls.
This solved my problem.
Double click home button. (press twice).This will show you all the apps that you have currently open.
Long click on the 1st app in the list [about 3 seconds]. This will make the icons wiggle and show a red minus sign on the left hand top corner.
Scroll [right] to see your music app (if you can't see it already).
Press the red minus sign. This will completely close the music app.
Restart your music app and things should be back to normal. [I also would close all other app in the same fashion, just in case, cause things like youtube apps use the controls on your earphones as well. ]
In short: - kill, kill-em-all and restart your music app.

Bluetooth IOS 5 issues with infiniti

I am at a loss so far with my Iphone 4. I recently purchased the Iphone 4 about 3 weeks ago and was able to pair it with my infiniti G37 no problem. Well, after a week or so, I connected to iTunes and upgrade my IOS to IOS 5...BIG mistake...I am having intermitent calls through my cars bluetooth...it connects, then disconnects, the conmects, then disconnects...etc... Aty any rate, I need my phone to stay connected! I went from a droid to this iphone and I am seriously regretting this decision, as I had 0 problems ever with my droid. I have tried disabling the bluetooth, deleting it from both my car and my phone and reconnecting. I have done a hard reset, but nothing seems to work.
Question: when will apple be fixing this...it has got to be soon! I cannot pssobily work wityhout bluetooth and sicne verizon FAILED to mention this issue, I am stuck with this phone, that is of no use to me for my work...

I've been having the same issue with my '08 G35. Apprently there is a problem with iOS 5 and Bluetooth; if you search this and other forums there are many reports of this issue with other manufacturersincluding Audi, BMW, Ford and Volkswagen. Also, aftermarket stereos and even some earpieces are having similar issues.
I brought my phone to the Apple Store in Birmingham and the "genius" told me it must be a car problem and I should contact a dealer. I contacted Infiniti Customer Support and the Bluetooth Department said there are no firmware updates available for the car. The rep also said he has been hearing about this problem a lot.
I called the Apple Store back and they backed off their "it must be a car problem" line. The employee said he would send some sort of report to Apple Engineering.
I have tried a hard reset of the phone after deleting the pairing from the car and the phone. It helped but the car still drops the phone randomly. I have also tried disabling then restarting Bluetooth right before I get in the car, also turning the phone to airplane mode then back to normal; neither reliably fixes the problem.
To me this is a more serious issue than the well-publicized battery problems. People use this feature to safely make calls. To have a system that will randomly stop working in the middle of a call is less safe than having no handsfree capability at all. Especially for people like me with a manual transmission.
Apple may want to think about fixing this before someone crashes his or her car.

A few Days ago I had this problem on my own device (iPhone6, IOS8.3)
I was Reading emails on my way to work.
When I got to work and started the computer ONE of the emails was marked unread in Outlook.
On the device it was marked as "read".
One thing that I remember is that I had bad Connection at the time I was syncing emails and I got
the popup message: "Can not get emails - Connection to server failed" (my translation from Swedish)
I have a feeling that the error message and the problem with unread emails are connected somehow.
Also, when I turn off the email account for my iPhone (to remove all emails) and turn it back on (reload all emails)
the mail that was set as "read" is now "unread" again on my iPhone.
This means (speculatinos) that sometimes the device mark emails as "read" but for some reason it does not
tell the server that it is "read". So the server still Thinks that the email is "unread".

IOS 5 issue with Audio Quality

Does somebody know if they're working on an Update to fix the issue with the Audio quality ?
I don't want to bother the support and have to wait a long time for an answer.

Issue with Building OLAP Cubes in Project Server 2010

There is some issue with while building OLAP cubes.
I have created OLAP cube then successfully cube has builded. When i add resource level custom field which has lookup tables values in ASSIGNMENT CUBE then getting cube failure meesage.
I deleted and recreated custom field and lookup table but no luck

Is the SQL Server and Analysis Server are running on different servers and not on default ports?
If yes, then check if the same alias’s name added in Project Server is added on the Analysis Server.

Issues with my Flex 2 project after upgrading version of Flash

This has been happening for some time now....
I work in a computing environment where software/security updates are sent to workstations over the network automatically. Everytime a new version of the Flash player gets released and pushed over the network, I have interesting/wierd problems develop in my flex application.
Today, we recieved the push of the nesest version of the flash player (10.0.22.xxxxxxxx). Anyways, not I am getting my events throw in a different order, and the focus manager can no longer find which object to give focus to, resulting a null object reference (within a core flex class, not my own code).
This happens with every new version of the player that is released. If I go back and use my code on a machine which has the older version of the player (say a vesion 9) it works perfectly!
Also, since I got this update today, my shared objects no longer load completely or correctly. What I did was encrypt my data, parsed it as xml, and then sent this object to be saved into the SOL file. They don't work the same anymore. But the same code ran on a version 9 player works flawlessly.
This happens consistantly with upgrades of flash player, just different issues crop up, and I cannot request my network admin not upgrade the flash player, as it would effect over 10k workstations.
I am at my wits end here! Anything, anybody got a bone to throw my way? Any ideas?

I understand that your Mac is restarting because of a problem and appreciate you including the log file. Here are the most relevant troubleshooting steps for this issue. However, the most likely cause for this would be your security software, Kaspersky.
Software troubleshooting
Disconnect the external drive used in the above test to determine the kernel panic is due to a software based issue.
Start the Mac from OS X Recovery and reinstall OS X on your Mac.
Start from the installation of OS X you just created.
Use Software Update to install all updates until it reports "Your software is up to date."
Download and install any third-party software updates before reinstalling third-party software, especially drivers and kernel extensions.
Examples include:
Virtualization software
Drivers for add-on third party display cards
Anti-virus software
Networking software (especially software which enables third party network devices)
Add-on file system support software; for example, software that lets your write to NTFS formatted media.
If the issue continues, you will need to erase and install OS X as follows:
Start the Mac from OS X Recovery.
Complete a disk image backup via Disk Utility of the internal drive to an external drive with enough free space.
Erase the internal drive using Disk Utility.
Install OS X.
Start from the internal drive.
Use Software Update to install all updates until it reports "Your software is up to date."
Re-install your third-party apps and copy your user data from the disk image backup you created in step 2.
Note: Avoid copying data from the /Library and /System folders on your backup disk image.

Caching Issues with Adobe Flex and HTTPservice

I faced a strange issue a coupla days back. In one of my Applications I had a Timer which would fire every 10 secs and would fetch data using a HTTPService call when fired. Surprisingly though, the initial results fetched by the HTTPservice was cached and would not reflect any changes when the data changed in the background, in IE, however the problem would not occur in Firefox !
I sort of hacked the HTTPService url to add a random number at the end of the call to make it believe that it was calling a different URL every time and it worked. But I would definitely like to know the reason for this behavior

I ran into the same thing, but it did not do this until recently! I had recently installed Flex 3.0 beta, so maybe something changed with the compiler and/or the Flash VM in this regard. Also, you can change the behavior of the Flex/Flash runtime by changing the caching settings in IE (check page for newer version on each visit).

Hi guys! Need help I'm not sure what's wrong with this iPhone 4 on iOS 6. Something's strange with the screen.. At least every 5 seconds (intermittent) the upper part of the screen shows up or flickers on the bottom part of the screen about 1cm high. Kind of static and black and white. Is it a software issue? Tis has been upgraded last August and it just started to occur. It shows up no matter which page/screen I am. How to fix this? Its not under warranty anymore. Thanks!!!

How can I tell that it is a hardware issue or ios bug issue with Iphone 4S Battery life & flapping 3G?

My Battery dies real quick on 4S compared to 4 eventhough my wireless is off, location services are off, the only thing on is the cellular data. I even adjusted the brightness to 60%.
Another issue is that My 3G connection keeps flapping, goes & comes in a wierd way where it falls back to Edge.
Am I to consider this part of the issues i can see so many people facing & therefore consider as ios bug & wait for the update or should I take it over to a service center to check the phone for me which means waste of time to get it done.

It's almost always a software issue. Actual hardware problems are rare but can get very serious, if you recall the antenna issue last year.
Reception problems just depend on how strong the signals are at your location. But if you're dropping to Edge even in strong areas, it wouldn't hurt to have an apple store look at it.

Issue with Adobe flex data.xml file not reachable from bsp behind firewall

I have a problem with the <mx:HTTPService> tag the following is the actual tag,

When accessed locally I can see the data in the flex as the data.xml can be reached. when the same is accessed from internet behind firewall, the url is entirely different and the .swf file in the BSP page cannot access the data.xml. I cannot give the absolute url in the tag as the BSP page application is accessed differently in different servers. any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Issue with Adobe flex redeployment

when I redeploy Flex web application by copying all files from bin-release to IIS , after refreshing or re-open the browser(chrome/IE)the client side still using the previous files, I have to clear web browser history to get the latest files, my server side properties:
windows server 2008 R2 standard
64-bit operating system

adobe flash builder 4.5 to export the release

Updating to iOS 5 issues with 3GS

When I try to update to iOS 5 (on 3GS) it will load in ITunes, but then when it goes to transfer to my phone it says network connection timed out please check network settings, it did this with the last update also, I have high speed internet so what is the problem??

The funny thing is I don't use alivepdf at all. I have no idea where that comes from.
Note : I am using flexmojos to generate my swf file.

I found the problem, my project uses gantt4flex third party library and this has got some reference to alivepdf.
For some of you who face similar issue, I had to add the alivepdf dependency manually to make it work.
