After Cloning Concurrent managers erroring out while coming up

Hi
I have cloned the r12.1.1 instance all the things are successful but the concurrent managers are not coming up.
I checked the by login as sysadmin concurrent-->administer-->select standard manager-->processes log file i found the following errors

I tried to trouble shoot the issue by doing the following things
1)stop all Appl services
2)stop database and listener
3)start db and listener
4)as a apps user
EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;
COMMIT;
EXIT;
5)run Auotconfig on DB Tier
6)as a apps user execute the following script
SQL> @$FND_TOP/patch/115/sqlafdcm037.sql;
select CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME from FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES where CONCURRENT_QUEUE_NAME like 'FNDSM%';
7)ran adrelink for FND module
Go to cd $FND_TOP/bin
$ adrelink.sh force=y "fnd FNDLIBR"
$ adrelink.sh force=y "fnd FNDSM"
$ adrelink.sh force=y "fnd FNDFS"
$ adrelink.sh force=y "fnd FNDCRM"
8)run autoconfig on appl tier
9)run cmclean.sql
10) start all the application services.
All went fine but the concurrent manager are terminating with the error messages above....
Please can any one help on this....
Thanks
SAI

Hi,
I think it is the issue with standard manager. during startup of application triger to intialize standard manager service is not working fine.
Execute the following to alter trigger FNDSM:
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER fndsm
AFTER INSERT OR UPDATE ON FND_NODES
FOR EACH ROW
BEGIN
if ( :new.NODE_NAME <> 'AUTHENTICATION' ) then
if ( (:new.SUPPORT_CP='Y')
or (:new.SUPPORT_FORMS='Y')
or (:new.SUPPORT_WEB='Y') ) then
fnd_cp_fndsm.register_fndsm_fcq(:new.NODE_NAME);
end if;
if (:new.SUPPORT_CP = 'Y') then
fnd_cp_fndsm.register_fndim_fcq(:new.NODE_NAME);
end if;
end if;
END;
commit;
Clean FND_NODES by executing the following:
exec FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;
Run autoconfig.
Restart concurrent managers and retest.
Hope this may help...!!!

  • Receiving Transaction Manager concurrent program errors out with INACTIVE, NO Manager

    Hi,
    We have an R12.1.3, 2-node (1 node Apps, 1 node DB) ERP system on Sparc 64, Solaris 10 Machines.
    All the concurrent managers including Standard Manager and Receiving Transaction Manager are running fine.
    When we are running the concurrent program Receiving Transaction Manager(RCVTPO), it errors out with Inactive No Manager error.
    I am not being able to find any errors in the log files of CM or DB.
    Could someone help me resolve this error. Its kinda urgent
    Thanks.
    Muneer

    Please see the solution in (PODAMGR And RCVOLTM Inactive And Cannot Be Started (Doc ID 726158.1)).
    Are there any errors in the database log file?
    If the above didn't help, please run cmclean.sql and ccm.sql scripts.

  • 1142 errors out while downloading image

    I have a 4402 controller just recently upgraded to code 5.2.178. I have a new 1142 out of the box and I am trying to get it up and running. It finds the controller and starts the image download but then stops with the following error:
    capwap_image_proc: problem extracting tar file
    It then tries to reconnect to the controller, it finds it and errors out again.
    Figured I'd ask for some ideas here before I went to TAC.
    Thanks

    Hmm not much to go on here... You know I collect Martin Guitars (to digress here a bit) and at these Bluegrass festivals I like to attend once in a great while they have a bumper sticker that's pretty popular.. it says... "It takes a village to tune a banjo"... at risk of sounding like the village idiot when you have a problem like that... you simply got to take it apart... meaning you can't tune a guitar or banjo without another one (or tuner etc) so you threw an 1142 out there and it's whining.. ok.. I'm thinking this...
    1. Does another 1140 do the same thing (where's the other banjo)
    If no, you have a bad AP. If YES then..
    2. Have you tried to download a new version of controller code and flash the controller again? Maybe during the process the code it pushes to the AP got corrupt? If so that's why the AP rejects it remember the controller holds that image for the AP.
    If you flash it and it still won't talk to the AP.. then what's your network look like.. maybe the image is getting hosed across the network or through something in the network.. break the network down into something easy see if it still fails.. (if it works that's the answer) if it doesn't... time to find another controller.. From the problem description there just isn't enough stuff here to rule out what is broke...
    TAC is a good village to help you tune that Banjo but I don't think you need them for this... ..

  • AMS 4.0 errors out while creating RTF StatusCheckStep error: Package creati

    Hi All,
    OEM: 11g
    Oracle Apps:12.1.3
    O/S: AIX 6.1
    While creating rtf through AMS 4.0, we are getting the error message:
    Error while evaluating expression:[Error evaluating expression: ${FUNC_STATUS_CHECKER(${data.V_BUGNO})} : [StatusCheckStep error: Package creation request failed
    (Status:Completed Error - Initialization Failed).]]
    Could anyone please share the resolution to the above issue faced before!
    Thanks for your time!
    Regards,

    Hi,
    perhaps my help is still useful.
    On the end of the Customization Manager procedure you will find a status checker. The purpose of status checker is to review the individual steps and highlight the job/job step under trouble.
    In your case, one of the sub jobs, here "Package creation request failed" is erroring out. It can be that the AMP plug in is not completely configured, or requires a patch.
    You should run as first the diagnostic for Customization Manager, to see if the expected configuration is in place. You may also drill down to the individual step logs (within job details) to check if there are any further details.
    Regarding rft: usually you use rtf in combination with BI Publisher. If this is the case, please make sure that you have entered the right $Header$ string
    into the properties for your rtf. This is required to inform adpatch to which data source the rtf belongs to.
    Please let me know if this response is helpful for you.
    Kr, Volker

    PS

    Hi,
    To do the alert configuration as suggested, please go through the information below.
    From SP 14 on PMI-free alerting was introduced. That means before SP 14 one has to configure and activate the End-to-End Monitoring, and to schedule the report SXMSALERT_PROCESS_DATA_GET in order to extract the alerts from the PMI data. For SP 14 and higher, that's not longer necessary.
    If no alerts are being delivered, please check if "Suppress multiple alerts of this rule" is checked for your rule.
    For SP 14 and higher you could also have a look at the report sxmsalert_logreader. This report shows some information about alerts being created or not.
    You'll find more information about trouble shooting the alerting in SAP Note 913858.
    Also just check if this batch program (RSALERTPROC) is running or not.
    The links below on Alert Management (ALM) will be of good help to you:

    Meanwhile look at these forum threads also:
    Alerts not getting triggered from Adapter Framework
    Alert  Configs...
    Also, In ALRTCATDEF, go to SETTINGS--> CONFIGURATION. By default, the option selected is INTERNAL PROCESSING. Select the option SMTP FORWARDING AS XML and give the email id. This will enable you to send an email alert whenever an error occurs in XI.
    I hope I have answered your queries. If u want help with anything else please do reply back.

    Hi Rama Krishna
      Are you saying that you are transferring data of your
    internal table to another server using a FM??? Am not
    sure if that can be done.
      How about trying this way????
      Download the data to a file on your application
    server, using open dataset statement. Then transfer this
    file to the other server using FM's FTP_CONNECT, FTP_COMMAND ....
    Kind Regards

  • .Dis Files getting errored out while migrating

    Hi
    During migration of a .dis file from one instance to another instance
    while opening a .dis file i am facing this error :
    Cannot join tables used in the workbook.Item dependency "" not found in the EUL.
    Please help me.
    Regards
    Nakul Venkataraman

    First thing to check is that the EULs on both instances are the same. I would suspect that there is a missing join in the target instance between folders.

    Hi,
    Seems like some issue with node information in concurrent queues.
    Have you ever run this request on this instance?
    Also is this happening for all OPP request only? can you try any other request and see if that works..maybe 'active user'.
    Run below command to see if correct coponents are pointing to correct nodes:-
    select node_name , node_mode , support_cp ,
    support_web , support_admin , support_forms
    from FND_NODES;
    If not then:-
    SQL> EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;
    COMMIT;
    EXIT;
    Run AutoConfig on all tiers, starting from db and then to apps.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Thanks for reply Ravi.
    The NullPointerException is beacuse of JNDI problem,we resolved that issue.We are able to create the ejb instance but with that instance when we are trying to call ejb method,we are getting the below error in console and the BPM instance is not getting created.
    We are able to create the instance of the EJB Bean.But when we try to call the method of EJB Bean(getTaskDetailsByTaskName(taskName)),the BPM instance is not getting created from BPM workspace.If we comment the code for the method of EJB Bean(getTaskDetailsByTaskName(taskName)) able to create the instance from BPM workspace.When we checked the log file this error,it is

  • Concurrent Manager not starting after cloning

    Hi,
    I am not able to start concurrent manager after cloning the CM tier. I am gettiing below error in the manager log file,
    Could not initialize the Service Manager FNDSM_<Node name>_<Env>. Verify that <Node Name> has been registered for concurrent processing.
    Routine AFPEIM encountered an error while starting concurrent manager RCVOLTM with library /u01/app/hl.../...appl/po/11.5.0/bin/RCVOLTM.
    What might be cause of the error?
    Thanks,
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad,
    Using normal hostsnames or virtual hostsnames? Also did you experience issues during the dbTier clone (check all log files created even if the cloning did not error out)
    Possible the hostsnames in FND_NODES are not cleared properly during the DB clone
    Running the following might give a better result:
    1 - SQL> EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;
    COMMIT;
    EXIT;
    2 - Run AutoConfig on all tiers, firstly on the DB tier and then the APPS tiers,
    3 - check if the concurrent managers are starting.

    Ronald

  • Expense request getting errored out after Expense approver rejected

    Dear Experts,
    I am facing issues where employee expense request is getting errored out when the expenses approver reject the Request.
    We are using a workflow to move this request.
    Once the employee submitted the expense request. We are having 2 level approval of his/her. Supervisor at the 1st and Expense approver at 2nd level
    In the 2nd phase the Expense approver rejecting the travel request to make modifications, however the rejected request is NOT routing back to the employee.
    Any assistance highly appreciated

    Hi Venkat,
    Many thanks for your reply
    The required work flow is properly configured. I can see after rejection it has been routed to the employee again.
    However after rejection its getting errored out, any idea on the possible reasons, does er approver is selecting or inputing any incorrect parameters.
    Regards,
    Tamiz

  • Crystal Report Viewer error out when running multiple instances

    Hi,
    I am using java 1.4 with BO XI R3.0.
    I notice I can only run one report at a time. If I was to run two reports, the 1st report will error out while 2nd report will run to its completion. Reports run on separate popup windows. I have tested with IE6, IE8 and also FireFox 3.0
    Depending on the timing, I get different kinds of error.
    "A request was cancelled. The necessary security privileges could not be verified. This indicates a problem with the security server. [RCIRAS9190] [RASLIB9002] "
    "The Report Processing Server session you are using to connect is in the process of being shut down. You need to retry. [RCIRAS0200]"
    I am using PSReportFactory and set parameters into CrystalReportViewer to display.
    processParametersu2026
    CrystalReportViewer viewer = new CrystalReportViewer();
    pfieldDV = new ParameterFieldDiscreteValue();
    pfieldDV.setValue(formatViewerParameterInputValue(tempRpt[1],tempParam[x]));
    pfield.getCurrentValues().add(pfieldDV);
    viewerParameters.add(pfield);
    viewer.setParameterFields(viewerParameters);

             IInfoStore iStore = oLogon.getInfostore();
             IInfoObject rptObject = findInfoObject(iStore,sInstanceId);
             IReportSourceFactory rptFactory =    IReportSourceFactory)eSession.getService("","PSReportFactory");
             IReportSource reportSource = rptFactory.openReportSource(rptObject,Locale.ENGLISH);
             IReport report = (IReport)rptObject;
            ConnectionInfo conn = new ConnectionInfo();
            ConnectionInfos connInfo = new ConnectionInfos();
            ServletContext sc = getServletConfig().getServletContext();
            String realPath = sc.getRealPath("");
            Properties prop = new Properties();
            viewer.setOwnPage(true);
            viewer.setDatabaseLogonInfos(connInfo);
            viewer.setReportSource(reportSource);
            viewer.setURI(request.getRequestURI() + "?reportID=" + rptObject.getID() + &viewerType=vwrTypeJavaSDK&viewID=1");
            viewer.setEnterpriseLogon(eSession);
            viewer.setHyperLink("New Window");
            viewer.processHttpRequest(request, response2, sc, null);

    Thanks to both of you.
    I actually was able to resolved this issue by tracking the values inside IEnterpriseSession.
    // Perform Crystal Enterprise Logon
    ISessionMgr oSessionMgr = CrystalEnterprise.getSessionMgr();
    IEnterpriseSession m_oCESession = oSessionMgr.logon(sUserid, sPassword, sSystemName,  getSecTypeString(iSecType));
    System.out.println("in logon m_oCESession "+m_oCESession);
    The UserInfo in the SeucuritySession: userInfo was always null so whatever i pass in, it was not storing them.
    (EnterpriseSession:logon=(SecuritySession:userInfo=null)
    All i need to do is to add   IUserInfo userInfo = null;  before IEnterpriseSession then it will store the user & password.
