After Fade Display: none Problem

I just started using Spry and my javascript abilities are
limited. I have placed a fade effect on a DIV. DIV original style
was display: none. After fading in, you can click on the div to
fade out. But after fading out, it seems as though the DIV is only
not VISIBLE, and isn't what it should be (display: none). I can
still click on the area where the DIV was, and it will once again
Fade in. How do I make it so that when the DIV fades out, it
remains with a style of Display: none?

to set again the display:none after the effect fades out, you
should add on the effect constructor the finish option that
contains a function that sets the display property to none after
the effect finishes.
the function should contain:
getElementById('elem_name').style.display:none;
Please look on the effects samples to see an working example
that has as parameter a finish function.

I would suspect it would work in vim only if vim supported the UTF8 character set. I have no idea if it does.
Here is one blurb I found on google:
USING UNICODE IN THE GUI
The nice thing about Unicode is that other encodings can be converted to it
and back without losing information. When you make Vim use Unicode
internally, you will be able to edit files in any encoding.
Unfortunately, the number of systems supporting Unicode is still limited.
Thus it's unlikely that your language uses it. You need to tell Vim you want
to use Unicode, and how to handle interfacing with the rest of the system.
Let's start with the GUI version of Vim, which is able to display Unicode
characters. This should work:
     :set encoding=utf-8
     :set guifont=-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--18-120-100-100-c-90-iso10646-1
The 'encoding' option tells Vim the encoding of the characters that you use.

After Effects Warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands

Hi There Fellow Adobe After Effects Users.
Please could some one help assist me with the following error i am getting.
I bought a template and needed to do a logo animation reveal. It was done using After Effects CC for PC.
AE had to then convert it to Mac which did so successfully. I was able to modify, add my logo and render out.
The following day i opened the file again and it gave me the follwoing error:
"After Effects Warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands"
What is confusing to me is that this issue would normally appear if my graphics cards did not support OpenGL, and it would not have opened in the first place if it was not supported.
My graphics card is a - ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB - running Mavericks OS. So i know that this card does support GPU acceleration.
Please could someone point me in a direction that will fix this.

If I look at my display info, the card says OpenGL engine. Does this mean anything?
If it's not supported, then what's the point in purchasing a Mac If you cannot use AE's full capacity. Mac doesn't put Nvidia cards in there machines and on the Adobe website, ATI cards ate not listed; but in the same breath it says that most ATI cards that have come out in the past 5 years are supported. Surely Adobe and their technicians must have spoken with Mac technitions.
I am considering to buy the new Mac Pro; but am definitely going to change my mind if I cannot use AE's full compatibility. I don't see why spend so much cash if the cards aren't great.
Please could you then tell me what functions to switch off in the project file. I'll get the guy whom I bought the template from to switch of those functions.

Hi, I read the post about calibration and I probably do that a little too often TBH! As I get so little time out the battery and mainly use my MBP on my lap, usually with the power supply near by, it gets charged to full, run to empty to the point of sleep, or sometimes it even cuts out and then is recharged to full again, so I really think it's new battery time. I've seen non Apple Official ones for between £35 and £65 that have 3 year warranties and state they are around 5200mh but am unsure due to reviews.

Anyway's I have now ordered a non Apple replacement from Amazon for about £35 and it has several good reviews and 4.5 out of 5 stars so I'll see if it works and report back. If it doesn't I'll send it back and get the Official Apple one.

I am doing web development and when working with the wordpress dashboard tiny mce, each time I hit the update button the following piece of code is inserted into the page I am working on.

Something is scanning the h1-h6 tags and creating a table of contents and inserting it into the page. This also happens when I use firebug on other random pages while using firefox.
I have tried several other browsers to determine if this is a wordpress issue, but this only happens in firefox. It also only happens when I make changes with firebug in firefox. Using firebug lite in chrome did not cause this problem.
I have been looking all over to figure out what is going on and why the is happening. It is making development near impossible and is forcing me to use a different browser (which I don't enjoy at all)
Any help you can give me would be wonderful.

Is it always hidden with display:none?
One standard diagnostic step is to try Firefox's Safe Mode to see whether it is caused by a custom setting or add-on.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode."
If the inserts stop, this points to an add-on as the problem. Figuring out which one it is would be the next step. (If the TOC is always hidden, perhaps it is something SEO-related.)

Display profile problem

Just switched from 10.7-ish to Yosemite on a couple of machines including the Mac Pro. I have a HP ZR24w display hooked up to the computer that has been working fine. Now, Yosemite on it's own, changes the scaled size of my screen from the recommended 1920x1200 to the 1680x1050-which totally buggers up what I see. When this happens and I go to System Preferences, the 1920x1200 isn't a choice. So, I can fix the problem for the short term by restarting my computer, knowing at any moment my screen can switch on it's own to 1680x1050. Any ideas on how to stop this? Thanks!

I understand that after updating to Yosemite, your external display does not give you the resolution that you would like. For this situation, I would recommend following the steps in the attached article, if you have not done so already, to see what scaled resolutions are available for your second display.
OS X Yosemite: Adjust your display’s resolution
Set the resolution for a connected display
If you have more than one display, additional resolution options are available.
After the display is connected, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Display.
Press the Option key while you click Scaled to see additional resolutions for the second display. Then select a scaled resolution option for the second display.

10.6.5 loses keyboard after period of non-use

I've noticed after upgrading to 10.6.5 that my keyboard will not work when I come back after an extended period of time. At first, after applying only the 10.6.5 update, neither keyboard nor mouse would work unless I unplugged and replugged the keyboard (the mouse is connected directly to the KB). Later, I installed the combo update, and then the mouse worked but the keyboard still wouldn't. This is after my display sleeps - as long as I continue to use the computer, everything works fine.
I have a mid-2009 Mac Pro 2.66 GHz quad-core (Nahalem) but with the older (clear, G5) keyboard and a mighty mouse.
Any suggestions?

Have had the same problem for awhile. Occurs for me after a long period of inactivity - mostly overnight - and I stopped putting computer to sleep at night because sometimes I could not wake it. I can't confirm if it started at 10.6.5 but that seems about the right timing. 10.6.6 does not fix it.
Another thread suggested turning off spaces; I will let you know if that help.
My keyboard is the white extended with a Mighty Mouse plugged in. Anyone else tried with another keyboard?

I have After Effects CS6 in a computer where also CS5.5 is installed. 64bit windows 7 Ultimate 20GB memory and two AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series Display adapters with drivers updated an hour ago (Driver date 27.7.2012, version 8.982.0.0).
When trying to use After Ecffects, I get error message "After Effect warning: A problem occurred when processing OpenGL commands" immediately when clicking Composition window.
What could be done?

Not much, I'm afraid. You probably need an older graphics driver. Other than that you could always disable the second card or play with the configuration. Unfortunately some not so smart person decided that CS6 would no longer need manual OpenGL control for the user, so there's no way to suppress it from within the program to force-revert to software-only modes in case of such issues...

Now I understand what you mean.
I'm afraid this is indeed not possible, unless you create customer exit for i_step=3 to invalidate any change made by user in variable screen for this variable, which is not really a practical way.
Actually the user would be able to see the filter information after query execution. The detailed location depends on whether you use BEx Analyzer or portal.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

DeployJava.js and using css display:none;

Hi all,
I am using the deployJava.js to add an applet to a page.
The applet is on a tab. My webpage has a few tabs and when you click from one to another using css I make a certain DIV disappear using display:none; and then to make the other DIV visible I use display:block;
As I flick between tabs my applet has problems. Sometimes its loads and sometimes it doesn't. The documentation says you should only call deployJava.runApplet once, so maybe this is the problem. Any ideas how I should avoid this?

I also agree with you. This is a very annoying.
My web application has a number of tabs and as you flick through them I use display:none; to hide certain divs.
Unfortunately different browsers seem to handle differently.
On Firefox, if I go to a different tab. My Applet is Stopped and when I go back to the original tab, my applet is redeployed and started again. This looks bad and also sometimes my applet doesn't show up at all, but maybe that is because I am calling deployJava more than once.
On IE 7, everything seems to work beautifully and as I move between tabs the applet isn't started and stopped and deployJava only seems to be ever called once.
This is frustrating, web pages are more complex now and java needs to fit in with this new complexity.
I may have to move back to a pure javascript solution now. But I like to develop in java, so I keep pushing it to my manager and colleagues. Then it fails on something simple like this. I've been burnt before by applets and now it seems I am burnt again.
I do hope that they think more about haw applets fit into more advanced situations.

Start with a state of display:none

I am trying to get Spry Slide Effect to work on an element that is initially hidden using display:none.
I am using :
.hideInitially{
display: none; //If I set it to display:block, spry effect works fine.
as recommended here though there is no working example using display:none; only visibility: hidden

iTunes is a mess! It couldn't find it's own libraries and I was forced to create a new one. Now I don't know where my music is or if any's missing.

Why not simply make a playlist with the songs you want on the iPhone?
