I appreciate you taking the time to copy and paste boilerplate responses to increase your points in this forum, but I've already read all those support articles in depth; but you have barely read my post at all. Please don't guess a fix. Only someone with the latest versions of iMovie, iOS, iPhone, Yosemite, and MacBook Pro is qualified to troubleshoot this, because anyone would immediately see that the following option no longer exists:
Open iMovie on your Mac, and choose File > Import > iMovie for iOS Project.
Read my post before you reply: It clearly says in the title and within my post that I can neither export nor import through iTunes without receiving an error message. So your response neither solved my question nor helped me whatsoever.

After doing some editing in Lightroom I want to continue the edit in CS 5 but Lightroom is not exporting the edited version, this has not happened before, what am I doing wrong please? anybody
You should be getting an error message that PS CS5 requires a higher version of ACR with two options "render using Lightroom" or "open anyway". You should choose the first option. If you are not seeing the error message then go to your Lightroom prefrences >General Tab> under Prompts> select "Reset all warning dialogs", then try the edit in function again.

If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.) -

We are creating POs from interface program "Import Standard Purchase Order Program". Only for few of the POs, we are encountering the error 'Warning: An error occurred during tax calculation
. Please correct the problem or contact your system administrator.'
This error is happening for few PO's, other POs with same vendor, ship to and bill to location created successfully by the program
Any inputs on how to resolve this error is greatly appreciated.

When trying to download iTunes, I get an error message saying "the instaler encountered errors before iTunes could be configured. Errors occured during installation." But it gives me no more information as to what I can do. Help please?
Also I now can`t access any of my itunes library and am concerned that if I remove it from my computer I will lose everything as I have no option of accessing and therefore backing anything up. Any ideas?

When I try to record audio with Soundflower, the recording has no audio. What am I doing wrong?
I am an amateur DJ trying to record a mix made in Cross DJ. I followed a tutorial instructing me to use Soundflower to route my system audio to QuickTime and have had no problem routing. Yet when I record the audio with QuickTime, the recording plays no audio. What am I doing wrong? I really need this mix recorded and I have no intention of downloading extra software.
This is because you have Punch on the fly enabled under Options (top menu)>Audio>Punch on the Fly.... signified by the letter P instead of the letter R

I am having trouble exporting .raw files from my Mac Book Air to an external storage device. Even though I am exporting as "original" they are being exported as jpegs. Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong?
Using the "original" setting is the correct way to do it. Select on of the photos and use the File ➙ Reveal in Finder ➙ Original menu option. That will take you to the file inside the library via the Finder. Confirm that what you see if the raw file.
If it is then try the following: make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

I have purchased a tv series from iTunes for Mac.. When I try to download either the episodes individually or the entire series all I get are the first minute or so of each. What am I doing wrong? ( My Internet connect is strong and good.)
first, try this:
Choose Authorize Computer from the Store menu. The server will recognize you are reauthorizing and not count your computer a second time.
if that doesn't work, then try this:
Quit iTunes.
In Terminal, go to /Users/Shared/ and rename the "SC Info" folder to something else.
Run iTunes, and do the authorize as mentioned above.

Buttons appearing Mottled.. Looks ugly.. What am I doing wrong?
Hi all, I've come across an issue with my menus in building a dvd with Encore CS5.. I'm guessing it's something I'm doing wrong and I don't yet know it..
Here's the issue:
I've built all of the menus, no dramas.. Photoshop file is built in 1920 x 1080 dimensions.. No more than 18 links per page as Encore allows.. that's all good..
But the issue is, a lot (most) of the text buttons are coming up with what I'd describe as mottled highlighting colours..
'Selected' buttons show in yellow (I assume this is default as I haven't changed it)
'Clicked/Activated' buttons show in red.. again, I assume this is default..
But yea the problem I'm having does tend to make it a bit ugly..
Is there something I'm doing wrong, and is it an easy fix? (Meaning, please tell me I don't have to build these menus again.. 5 dvds time 6-9 menus each)..
I'm learning as I go with this so it may just be a settings thing which I don't know about, would love to hear from the pros on this one
What I do know is it was shot on a HDV camera 1440 x 1080.. I have had the same issue using 1920 x 1080 footage though so I'm assuming it's not that..
I'm burning onto dual layer dvd due to the size of the project also.. Automatic settings from what I can tell..

I've saved the photoshop document, which has then updated in Encore.. I then ticked the boxes to make each button later an actual button, and now I see:
This is where I get lost.. I tried deleting the (=1) layer (under ( + ) Button 1, but then I guess I'm not quite understanding what I'm pasting, where I'm pasting it and so forth.. Whatever I did, it didnt end up with my new button linking to the old text button's location.. )
