After more than a year of success, email will not sync

After more than a year of successfull syncs with iTunes, my iPhone GS will not sync with my Outlook Calendar. I get the message, "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging requrest. Pleae run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client."
The problem with complying with that message is that I DO NOT use Outlook as my default mail client on my PC. I DO use Outlook for my Calendar on the PC and have, in the past, been able to sync with the iPhone calendar.
On the iPhone, I can receive my email from GMail and another provider without problem. On my PC, I use Forte Agent as my email program.
I know of nothing that I have done to change settings an any program that would affect the ability to sync my calendar with outlook but NO NEW calendar entries are reaching my iPhone now. All other portions of the sync appear normal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Subject correction. It should read: After more than a year of success, Outlook Calendar will not sync.
It appears that there are a VERY large amount of problems with the calendar not performing sync correctly. Any answers...?

If CS6 is not activated it will run as a 30 Day trial version. Menu Help should show that. The cs6 your running should be have Activate item not a deactivate item in the help menu list of items. Make sure you copied the serial number from Your Adobe My Product CS6 correctly. And try to use the Activate item in the help menu. It should ask for your serial number. If ir does not take it call Adobe.

Exchange email will not sync

Re: Iphone 4; I have two email accounts on Exchange: Gmail and a work email.
For the past week my phone will not push the new emails to my phone. I have it where I fetch my emails manually. I'm getting the spinning wheel of death and it says "Checking for mail", but the emails will not show up.
Something seems to be sucking the battery life out of my phone. (Is this related?)
What I have done: Reset the phone; deleted the email account and added it back on. Nothing seems to work.
Everything else on my phone seems to be working fine.

Please check if this issue affects all activesync users. If only one user is affected, please check if this user is in quarantine list.
And you can enable the ActiveSync Mailbox Logging and then check if there is any related information.

My work address and my email will not sync

I have a black berry curve and my new work email is <Personal Content Removed> and it will not sync for me to get emails on my blackberry. I tried using the enterprise and the internet options and does not work. When I use the enterprise I do get an immediate email from blackberry but nothing ever synchs. When I try using the internet option is just says it is invalid. Any help for my IT team would help me out. Thanks

If your company has BES, then you need to talk to the BES admins. If they don't have BES, then you cannot use the Enterprise configuration at all. If, and only if, your email faces the internet, then it should be able to be configured for your BB.
If it's POP/IMAP, see this procedure:

If it's OWA, then see this procedure:
KB03133 How to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email address with a BlackBerry Internet Service account
If you don't know which it is, then you'll need to ask your IT folks. If they don't face your email to the internet, then there is nothing you can do.

Firefox will not open more than one window and upon restarting will not open the previous tab and refuses to open bookmarks

Firefox does not open more than one window. I can open plenty of tabs, but not more than one window. Upon closing firefox and trying to restart the browser will not open and needs to be closed through windows task manager. Upon trying to re-open Firefox I receive the 'oops this is embarassing , firefox cannot re-open your tabs" message. When I click on "new session" the bookmarks do not load. It is becoming very frustrating as I am a student and often do lots of research on the web while using lots of open windows.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

My email will not sync

This is obviously not a new problem because I read many discussions on the topic. I have more than one email account, one from work - an Outlook account- and my personal one, a sbc global account. They do not sync my email in real time. My work account syncs maybe 1X per day. It is truly annoying especially when I am out of the office and need that account. I have tried all of the helpful hints- tried to sync every 5 minutes, told it to sync 300 messages, made it my primary account- and nothing works. Verizon- you need to find a solution and from the posts, there are many with the same problem. What gives? Admit there is a problem and put it in the next update.

Email will Not Sync

My Yahoo email has stopped syncing to my Droid X. Has worked fine for 8 months until 2 days ago.

Bookingohio, let's get your AOL email working again. Do you have a Droid X as well? Are you receiving any error messages when trying to access email? Verify Background Data and Data Enabled checked in Settings, Data manager, Data Delivery. If no changes, please remove then re-add the AOL account. Remove the account by going to Settings, Accounts, selecting AOL then Remove Account. Then you'll have option to add account from the same screen. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Firefox will not run in more than one desktop simultaneously. It will not connect in the second desktop unless it is first closed in the one already open.

Sorry, I am not sure what is meant by a Windows account. My wife and I share an internet account, each with our own ID and password. We share a computer each with our own desktop. Prior to the last Mozilla update, it was common for each of us to have Mozilla open on our respective desktops. Since the update, that is no longer possible. If one of us has left Mozilla open, the other cannot open it on their desktop unless the first is closed. I hope that helps.

Email will not sync with Mac and iPhone

I have an iPhone 3GS which I've updated to OS 4. After reading an email on either my Mac or my phone and delete it, the message is not deleted from the other device. I'm not too "techy" and do not understand what I need to do in order to get the mail synched as it was in OS 3.

I waited an extra week or two like I always do before updating, but I still caught the bug. I was interested when I saw the App Store, but really surprised when my phone didn't show up in iTunes. I haven't tried incredible troubleshooting steps, just letting you all know I have the problem also. As I read up and try those troubleshooting steps I'll come back and repost. Thanks for your posts on here...maybe Apple will be quick about fixing the update with a new update.

My iPod email will not sync. It last did so three days ago. I have chnaged no settings that I'm aware of in the meantime.

Three days ago my iPod stopped syncing my email. I have IOS 8.1.2 so my software is up to date. I've changed no settings that I'm aware of. I now must check my gmail using the gmail APP. It says it's "checking for mail", but nothing shows up. How can I get my email to once again sync?

After downloading the latest version of iTunes, podcasts will not sync to my iPod

Podcasts used to show up in 'More', but now only Audiobooks, Compilations, Composers and Genres show up.

I am having the same thing happen.
Yesterday I downloaded 10.8.3 and installed it along with all updates.
Now if I click on iTunes from the dock it just sits there with the light dot under it.
If I go to Force Quit, it has iTunes highlighted in red saying (NotResponding)

I restored my iPod Nano 4th generation to original settings and now when I try to sync it with iTunes, only a few songs will transfer and I get a message saying file could not be found. Some of the songs in my iTunes library were transferrred from another computer and the files somehow did not transfer. However, even the songs I purchased recently will not sync. I have tried downloading the latest version of iTunes and restarting my iPod. Help!

MS Office Professional Plus 2010 cannot verify the license (in use for more than a year)

After more than a year of use, I now receive the following error message for all Office Applications ....
"Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 cannot verify the license for this product. You should repair the Office program by using the Control Panel." When I Click the OK button, the application is terminated.
I tried using the Control Panel to repair Office, and I have tried to re-install Office. I still get the same message. Note, during repair or installation, my Product ID key is accepted.

IPhone 3G will not sync with Exchange 2003 after updating to 4.0.1

I keep reading a lot of posts about users who updated to 4.0 not being able to get Exchange to sync and 4.0.1 was supposed to fix that however I just updated from 3.something to 4.0.1 and now my Exchange 2003 server email will not sync (kind of) and my Contacts are slowly disappearing.
I tried to delete and re-enter the exchange account however after 5 hours I only have about a dozen emails out of the hundreds that should be there. Also the contacts that were there are now slowly disappearing.
I saw somewhere that I should try to access www.myserver.com/oma and www.myserver.com/exchange to see if I can log in there. I am able to get into OMA without an issue however when I go to /Exchange I am able to login and get the left window pane to start (inbox, contact, notes, etc buttons), but no other pane has anything.
I don't know if this is related, but I did notice that on some sites that use script for the menus I am no longer able to navigate the menus. They drop, but clicking a link in the menu does nothing.
I have another 3G that is working fine with the 4.0.1 and all the BB and Windows Mobile and Droids are working fine.

You know, yesterday I deleted the entire Exchange account, rebooted, added it -- nothing... then I deleted it again, rebooted again, etc... after about the 3rd time of doing this and allowing the Internet Accounts to automatically discover the account, it started working again.
You might want to give it the brute-force-angry-uninstall-and-reboot-multiple-times-while-shaking-angry-fists -and-cursing routine and see if that helps you!
