Agent logout popup - supervisor alert

Good morning,
I would like to know if it is possible with UCCX 9.x to have the following:
- When last agent from a CSQ logout, have a popup on his CAD with message that he is last available agent before he logout.
- Once Last agent logout, play message if any caller still in the queue.
- Send an alert via email to a certain email address (supervisor i.e.)
Please give me any info/links explaining how to implement this. Thanks.

Ahmed

Hi
At the first go , it looks like a very difficult thing to achieve.  i am not sure if you can achieve this ,
but here is some things you can try
first of all , you have to put a " Get reporting statistics " step in all your scripts , which will check for how many agents are logged in to the Queue.
then you have to use some " if \else " statement to pass some value to a variable ( you have to use an enterprise variable )
like " if ( Agentloggedin ==1 )
         set lastagentloggedin ==1 )
and then using enterprise variables from CDA , you can pass this value to CAD.
and you can generate email from Script as well , depending upon  no of agent logged in and send that email to supervisors.
now playing a message to agent , whether there is any caller in the queue , i am not sure how you can do that.
i hope this helps you to start thing up.

  • UCCX Supervisor Alerts

    Hi All,
    Just wondering if it is possible to set a supervisor alert within the Supervisor workflow that alerts a contact centre supervisor when no agents are in a ready state.

  • Agent Logout Table empty in HDS

    Hi All,
    I've an IPCC Enterprise 6.0 SR12 setup with RGR, PG's and HDS with an AW client connected.
    Recently it was observed that Agent Logout report in Webview was showing no data of previous months (i.e - before December). When I checked in t_Agent_Logout Table in HDS, it was blank and had no data in it. However, it is checked and confirmed to have data in Logger database table.
    Pls suggest some ways to replicate/synchronize the same.
    Regards,
    Soman Nair.

    Two things.  Check you have agent distribution sites and that you've enabled agent reporting.  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/custcosw/ps1001/products_tech_note09186a0080243c84.shtml

  • SQL Server Agent Job Duration monitor alerts incorrectly

    As per SQL Server MP guide, changes in Dec 2007 update : Fixed a script that was resulting in invalid alerts being generated from the agent job's Job Duration monitor.
    In my SCOM 2012 environment on few SQL servers I'm getting an alert from Job Duration monitor for SQL jobs that have completed well within the defined thresholds. Interestingly this monitor then resets on its own(The monitor has been initialized for
    the first time or it has exited maintenance mode) and immediately turns critical again. I do not see any pattern around these state changes. These are weekly jobs, however the Job Duration monitor continues to alert for these specific jobs 10-15 times a day.
    This is creating unnecessary noise in the environment.
    Is anyone else facing this issue? I know I can disable this default monitor and create my own monitor. However I want to check if this is a known bug in this SQL MP(version 6.4.1.0).
    Note : I'm aware about an updated MP version 6.5.1.0, however the release note doesn't specify if it fixes this issue.
    Thanks,
    Harry
    Thanks, Harry :-)

    Resolution: The issue was that the SCOM Agent was getting restarted repeatedly. Post restart health calculation was done again and the SQL Job duration monitors would reset and generate new alerts.
    There is a recovery configured in an aggregate monitor to restart the SCOM Agent if Handle Count/Private Bytes of Health Service/Monitoring Host breach a set threshold. I had to create an override to change the thresholds for all Health Service/Monitoring
    Host and exclude the recovery on Physical servers.
    If there are large number of workflow on an SCOM Agent due to multiple MP(SQL, HP, etc.), the increase in Handle Count/Private Bytes is usual.
    Thanks, Harry :-)

  • Agent disappearing from Supervisor Desktop

    Greetings -
    Can someone help find a solution to my below problem..
    Environment:
    Cisco Unified CCX premium
    9.0.2 SU2 version
    Agent desktop: 9.0(2) (Premium); Build: 9.0.2.2021
    Problem:
    We have three agents out ten who regularly disappear from supervisor desktop.  I opened a TAC case with Cisco but could not figure out what is causing the problem.  The agent desktop is installed on Win7 64bit, Kaspersky antivirus and no firewall between UCCX and agent.  Between UCCX and agent, we have a Cisco 4500 connecting 6500.  I also opened a case with Cisco switching team to check if switches have any role in agent disappearing, but nothing was found on the switches.  It is interesting that only three users are affected out of all.  The affected users' logs on to CAD without any issues in the beginning of the shift, however, after couple of hours i.e. around 11 am agents start to disappear from the supervisor desktop.  After the agent disappears, the CAD chat windows appears like below and the <Unavailable> status in the chat windows changes constantly every 10 seconds to <Initializing>
    The UCCX capture shows the following:
    <AGENT_DESKTOP_user11>.  The application will be logged out.
    2014-08-20 03:09:46:249 WARN FCCS3008 Network communication error <COMM_FAILURE> sending message to application <AGENT_DESKTOP_mwoods>.  The application will be logged out.
    2014-08-20 03:09:50:021 WARN FCCS3008 Network communication error <COMM_FAILURE> sending message to application
    The agent logs shows that the heart beat is sent to the UCCX but UCCX dose not receive anything.  While all these are happening, the user can still receive and answer calls, the supervisor though cannot see the user, the reports she runs displays user metrics.  However, after few hours, the agent will appears again on supervisor desktop or re logging will make the user appear again.
    Has anyone experienced this strange issue?
    Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for prompt response.
    What I did few weeks ago was, created a new account, assigned queues to that new account and then asked the used to use that account just to check if the issue is specific to user account.  Even then, the agent (newly created account) was disappearing.
    I am sure if I ask the user to use the working agent account, will not have a problem.  I will have to check with the supervisor if they want to try this out.  I will update you momentarily.

  • Get Agent that triggered SCOM Alert

    Hi Everybody!
    Is there a way to get the agent id that has triggered an alert in SCOM? Maybe with Powershell or SQL Query?
    I was searching the Internet and tried some things but still have no solution for it ...
    We are using SCOM 2012 SP1.
    I need that for an Orchestrator Runbook that creates incidents in our ticket system (it's not SCSM ;)).
    Thank you!
    Wolfgang

    For SQL, executing the below query would get you the agent id
    select basemanagedentityid from alert where <<your condition>>

  • Agent disappears from Supervisor Display

    UCCX 8.5
    I have some remote CAD agents who connect via vpn. One in particular always behaves the same. In the Supervisor Display she is counted as "Logged In" but her name will disappear from the Agents and Voice CSQ-Detail displays for 30 seconds. She will then reappear for 30 seconds and this repeats as long as she is logged in. She is able to answer calls, some for over twenty minutes.

    It could be the VPN is blocking TCP ports 59000 and 59020 required for the chat communications. I had this happen when a firewall between 2 networks was blocking ports 59000 and 59020.

  • No Service on Agent Desktop and Supervisor Desktop

    This issue was brought to our attention because the Supervisors logging into Supervisor Desktop are unable to see their agents in the team list.
    The Agent Desktop window aswell as the Supervisor Desktop show "No service" at the bottom, this is the same for all agents and supervisors on the contact centres for this particular IPCC Express cluster.
    But calls are still routing through fine, the only actual issue seems to be supervisors not being able to monitor their agents.
    All services are up and the servers appear to be operating normally.

    Yes, I can confirm that we did end up restarting our service with no call drops (I realise now that once a call has been answered, it is no longer using the CCX port and, therefore, won't drop).
    Per my post here: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2081178
    ll.... I restarted the "Cisco Desktop Call/Chat Service" service in  CCX Serviceability > Tools > Control Center - Network Services.
    The service was only restarted on the Publisher (we have pub + subscriber in HAoWAN config).
    Once  the service had restarted - the publisher remained 'master' of the  service. I didn't bother to restart the sub's service at any stage.
    The service restart took about 1 literal minute total - from clicking 'restart' to cycle back to IN SERVICE.
    As part of the process, I had called into one of our contact center numbers and had an SDA take my call.
    I restarted the service while on the phone to them - they didn't get booted from CAD and the call didn't drop.
    Also  of note - another call was made into the system during the service  restart and another SDA on shift was able to take the call with no signs  of impact.
    CAD/CSD chat and also the team views in CSD started working again...issue solved.
    In  turn, agents and supervisors logged out of CAD/CSD, closed the app,  then re-opened it just in case (although I honestly don't think this was  necessary).
    I  have yet to find anything online that says specifically what this  service does (or any of the services in Network Services) in parts and  as a whole.
    I can only say that it is important in allowing Chat (clearly) and for Supervisor Desktop to be able to function at all really.
    We  didn't seem to experience any outage of any kind - so I will assume  that the consequences of service restart in this instance were little to  none.
    I couldn't say what the consequences would've been had the service failed to restart again - forcing a system bounce (yuck).
    Anyway - issue solved, hope this info proves useful to someone else!
    PS. If you're new to the whole UCCX business, CSD = "Cisco Supervisor Desktop" and CAD = "Cisco Agent Desktop".
    Also some additional interesting info per David King:
    "...here is the link to the  CAD install guide that I quoted regarding what the call/chat service  does. It also explains the other Desktop services as well. The service  descriptions start on page 11.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_0/installation/guide/cad80ccxig-cm.pdf
    Hope this helps.

  • Agent resident memory utilization ALERT question

    Hi all,
    Every night during the incremental db backups (and during the weekly full db backup) i get an alert for the "Agent resident memory utilization" level. I did find this similiar post but it didnt' help me out much (Agent memory utilization under Linux
    I want to know if i should be concerned with this alert and how i can tune to get rid of it. Does anyone know how to handle this?? I found the following in the oracle documentation about this alert:
    1 Agent
    The oracle_emd target is a representation of the Oracle Management Agent. The Oracle Management Agent is the Management Agent used by Oracle Enterprise Manager. This target type exposes useful information required to monitor the performance of the Management Agent.
    Most of the help topics in this helpset use the term Management Agent to refer to the Oracle Management Agent.
    1.1 Agent Process Statistics
    The EMD Process Statistics provides information about the performance and resource consumption of the Management Agent process. This metric is collected by default on an interval of 1038 seconds. A value that can be changed in the default collection for the oracle_emd target.
    1.1.1 Agent Resident Memory Utilization (KB)
    The amount of resident memory used by the agent and all of its child processes in KB.
    I also get nightly alert for Commit waits but i don't think they are related. Can someone please shed some light on this alert for me? Here is the full alert that i'm getting:
    Name=localhost.localdomain:3938
    Type=Agent
    Host=localhost.localdomain
    Metric=Resident Memory Utilization (KB)
    Timestamp=Sep 13, 2006 2:08:14 AM EDT
    Severity=Warning
    Message=Agent resident memory utilization in KB is 223304
    Rule Name=Agents Unreachable
    Rule Owner=SYSMAN

    If your Agent is really getting up to the Warning or Critical Threshold set for the agent resident memory utilization" metric, you can increase the numbers. by default, the Agent "Resident Memory Utilization (%) is set to 20% (Warning) and 30%(Critical) while "Resident Memory Utilization (KB) is 128000 (Warning) and 256000 (Critical)
    From Targets > All Targets > Select the Agent > Click Metric and Policy Settings at the bottom of the screen > Edit the Resident Memory Utilization as required.
    Or Instead changing the Threshold, on the same Edit screen, you can simply change the "Number of Occurrences" before an alert is triggered.
    Meanwhile it is important to check whether the use of such amount is normal.

  • Popup on alert icon

    Hi,
    I created alert icons on the bar graph in ADF. Is there a way to display a popup when the user mouser overs on the alert icon. I did not find corresponding properties in the property inspector.
    Any help is greatly appreciated
    Thank you,
    KK

    From the code above, this line actually worked for me:
    image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage(getClass().getResource(iconString));Just place the image inside the source folder and change the iconString thing...
    For example mine looked like this
    image = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage(getClass().getResource("/icon.gif"));

  • EIC Agent's and Supervisor's Profile

    Hi All,
    I have one requirement in my project where I need to create two profiles for Employee Interaction Centre.
    One for Agents, allowing only the owners of the Activities to process their request and another for Supervisors, who can process Activities created/owned by anyone.
    Could you pls help in how to go about it and what's the SAP standard.
    Many Thanks...

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
    But I know that, for Agents and Supervisors we have to create two separate roles.
    My problem is, through which authorization object do I need to restict the thing, that Agents can Process only those Activities for which they are the Owners, while Supervisors can Process Activities of each and every Agent.
    What Authorization Objects and Field Values are required to implement this.
    Thanks...

  • Agent logout

    Is there possibility to change agent state from "Not ready" to "Logged-out" after his IP Phone being unregistered from Call Manager?
    When agent was logged-in and, let's say,  his IP Phone unregister suddenly, agent still shows as "Logged-In:Not Ready" in Real Time Reporting.
    Any ideas how to do that in UCCX 7.0 SR05?
    Thx!

    I don't believe this is possible. If we are talking about CAD then what you are seeing makes perfect sense to me as I think of CAD as the primary agent software and the phone is a peripheral device. If we are talking about IP Phone Agent (IPPA) then I could see how an unregistered phone should be logged off.
    HTH.

    Bill

  • OEM12c agents high CPU usage alerts fix (leap second Linux kernel bug)

    Just throwing this out here in case anyone else spent the weekend pulling their hair out and hasn't resolved this yet.
    Due to the leap second that occurred at midnight UTC going into July 1st, most of my OEM 12c BP1 agents on Linux servers went haywire, taking up 100%+ CPU on monitored servers. This appears to be due to a bug triggered by the leap second.
    The following seems to fix the issue without requiring a server reboot.
    as root:
    /etc/init.d/ntp stop
    date `date +"%m%d%H%M%C%y.%S"`
    /etc/init.d/ntp start
    as OEM agent user:
    $AGENT_HOME/bin/emctl stop agent ; $AGENT_HOME/bin/emctl start agent
    I didn't discover the fix, but I've confirmed it works.
    Edited by: BrianP on Jul 2, 2012 11:53 AM -- subject changed to note this is a Linux kernel bug, not a Java bug... kernel bug causes software using futexes (like Java) to spin and timeout repeatedly

    See MOS note "Enterprise Manager Management Agent or OMS CPU Use Is Excessive on or around July 1, 2012 [ID 1472651.1]" for more information on this issue. Oracle notes it may occur from versions 10.2.0.5 through 12.1.0.1.0.
    See also "Leap Second Hang - CPU Can Be Seen at 100% [ID 1472421.1]" and bug 14264454.
    Thanks abulloch for getting the note out there!

  • Handling agent logout event.

    I want to implement a feature in ICM script for our customer.
    Call sequence is as follows..
    1. Call arrives and call is queued to a Skill group.
    2. While call is in Queue all the agents in that skill group log-out.
    3. I want to overflow such calls to different skill group.
    Currently  I am trying to achieve this by checking the "skillgroup.loggedon " count in the Success path of the Queue to Skill group and sending to different Script.
    Whats the best way of handling this event ?. does  " consider if " check the condition even after the call is queued ?.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Raghu

    Hi,
    you can write a loop, like this:
    1. Queue to SG
    2. VRU Script to play announecment/music
    3. Check for the number of logged on agents in SG, if enough, go back to step 1. If not enough, continue to step 4.
    4. Dequeue from SG
    5. Go to an external script.

  • Alert or Popup in Modules

    Hi,
    i'm developing an applicatin who uses Modules. The modules load and unload well and after unload a module, i can see in the profiler, the garbage collection remove the instance. so far so good.
    now, i'm using a popup or alert in my modul (for data modification).
    I load and unload my module again, without starting the alert or popup and all works fine. but after clicking a button, which triggers an alert, and unload my module again, the module won't remove by garbage collection. my instances in profiler is 1. Doing the same procedure, i generate in profiler two instances but after unload the module, the instance fell down to 1.
    So i assume, that flex hold a reference to the alert-window i the first case. the second use the reference from the first. accordingly, the second will be garbage collected.
    i'm trying to register the PopupManager in my ApplicationDomain with the follwowing two lines: import mx.managers.PopUpManager;  and privat var popuop:PopupManager. But nothing changes.
    What is the right way to use Alerts (or Popups) in modules without references.
    Here is my code:
    To open my popup with an mxml-component:
    PopUpManager.addPopUp(inputMask,Application.application as DisplayObject, true);
    and my handler for the close-event of my mxml-component:
    PopUpManager.removePopUp( CDBInputMask(event.currentTarget));
    inputMask = null;
    Thanks in advanced.
    Frank

    Alex,
    thank you again.
    I'm trying to get the information as you said:
    "moduleInfo's loaded property simply reflects whether it has released its reference.  Any other references will still pin it.  The profiler will show that."
    can you give me a hint, how can i get this information.
    After pinning my module on memory caused by click on dg, the simpleModule will be shown in the loitering objects and i can see (48) behind it. but it's hard for me to find the references created by frameword or creatd by me.
    My flex-version is 3.2.0, imho the latest version.
    i read your post and work through, so, before i unload my module by button in mainapplication, i set the focus per "focusManager.setFocus(loadBtn);" away from my module. Also, i placed a dg on my mainApp with a dataProvider. Both won't fix my problem. in my example, there is no styles defined at all.
    i think, i haver to get the information from profiler, which reference pin my module inmemory, but i'm unable to locate it at this time.
    The unloading works fine until i click on the dg or typing in some letters. Imho, there must be a procedure that will pin the module after getting some buttonDownEvents (or something else). But i'm not so deep in the framework to figure out the procedure for my self.....
    Can you give me further information, please.
    thank you for your helpful answers. unfortunately i found no solution for my problem.
    Frank
