Agreement Upload in Projects

Hi,
Is there a way we can retrieve the agreement which gets uploaded in Projects. The plan is to develop a web page and display a link to the users wherein they click and retrieve the agreement.
Is the agreement stored in the database as BLOB or it is stored in the apps file sytem?

Assuming you have 1 attachment per agreement (at the header level), this is where the BLOB is...

Error while uploading MSP project into SAP PS

For uploading MSP project into SAP PS we are using openps4MSP version 4.0 & MSP version 2007. incase of SAP PS to MSP downloading is ok.
While uploading we are getting following error. Also I have gone through relevant notes on MSP PS interface still I am unable to understand what exactly is the missing.

Hi,
Which type of scheduling setting have you configured for WBS scheduling and for n/w. ?
Also, download calendar from SAP to MSP and then add column 'Task Calendar' in which select the downloaded calendar.

Uploading Flex project breaks it

Hi there, This is probably a result of something incredibly silly. A while ago I would find it easy to create a release version in FB3 and put the new SWF online. It always works, I just restructured my code to use multiple .AS files which I include in the mxml as such: Whenever I upload the project online now, the application hangs (http://eplant.mozzly.com/ePlant.html). Just sits there doing nothing. I'm wondering if I'm missing something important...what the heck could I have forgotten to do? If I pop the file into a local webserver on my dev system...it loads correctly. The application depends on a config.json file which is the first thing it pulls. The web version doesn't seem to do this but my locally hosted one works perfectly... Ack. What could it likely be?

Generally you upload all files within the bin release folder

Upload FCP Projects and Associated Media to a Production

Hi,
This sounds very silly but I`m really disappointed and can`t figured out how to do it.
Is there a way to upload a *.fcp project and associate NOT ONLY the project but ALSO the Media that this project contains?
In other words, if I upload a FCP project and choose a Production to be associated the production is created but ONLY the FCP Project Asset is inside this production, not the whole medias.
A scan production (for the FCP file) also doesn`t work.
What works is uploading all media and associating to a production or do a Scan production into a directory with medias. But my FCP and Medias are in distinct places and a thought that FCP project could help me cleaning the Media directories (by uploading the project and after all medias are catalogued archiving them, so the rest in directories are useless).
The work around would be:
1- to do a Scan Production in the Media files and after that uploading a FCP project associating with that Production, but as I`ve said I can`t just scan the entire Media as it`s very messy and with this way I could be guaranteed that my important assets are catalogued (and archived) and the left ones in the messy directories could be quick filtered to exclusion and cleaning without worries.
2- to upload a FCP and associate to a production and after that manually move fcp associated assets to this production (this almost impossible because the limitation of 200 assets per page).
Can some one propose a better way?

No, you are correct, but unfortunately these are Elements (inside the FCP project) and not real Assets. So for instance, if you fill in the annotations on the Asset it will not show on the Elements (inside FCP projects) and vice-versa. You can`t do a lot of other things as well with elements as you can with assets.
So I would like to have a Production with all media created automatically when a FCP project is uploaded (or scanned).

RPM Upload/Download Project Data u2013 No Selection list for Application system

When trying to upload from project or download to project from/to application SAP Project System there is no selection list under the drop down field for Application system. As I understand from the RPM guides, this is the logical system. We have defined the logical systems in IMG. Is there some other configuration we are missing?
We are using SAP RPM 4.5 (CPR Xrpm 450_700: Support package 0009)

Couple of questions:
What type of Tracks are they (MIDI, AUdio, Drummer)?
WHen you play your Project, do You hear all Tracks playing?
What happens when you change the Track order, i.e. A-B-C to B-C-A? WHen you export, do you still get only one Track and if so, is it talways the first Track in the list or a specific Track regardless if it is the first, second, or third?
Are you sure you don't have any Tracks Muted or Soloed (which auto-mutes the other Tracks)?

FCP X deleted about 2/3 of events to a project and the project. I uploaded the project to vimeo from FCP X, and the next day when I tried to use FCPX, they were gone, the events are gone from fcp and my ext hd, the project is still on the ext hd.

No, I don't have identical projects on a second drive, only saving to the movies folder on internal HD. The files and media save there fine, but fcp doesn't seem to recognise them the next day, just opens with one new untitled event and no projects.
I have tried saving to en external HD tonight and will see if the problem happens again with this set up when I restart tomorrow.
But I should be able to save to internal HD, so something is going wrong...

If your friend is also a Captivate user, make sure that you both have same captivate versions and if you want your friend to download the project (.cptx) and edit the project and provide you the updated copy of your project then you can use Adobe Send Now. You need to sign in with your Adobe ID and password and as a free user, You can upload a project of maximum 100 MB.

Uploading Multiple projects - My "Client" field isn't appearing.

So, we setup a "Client" field. This allows us to select a client while uploading a project and later on running searches for that client's company name. I just noticed that when we drop several projects simultaneously - It doesn't show me that field. I'm assuming this is a different layout that I need to modify in the admin, because on version 1.1 I was able to do this without any changes - If my memory is correct.

If the field is attached to a metadata group, and that metadata group is attached to the relevant metadata set, you should see it regardless. Just to rule it out, you are selecting the metadata set that would have the group and field included, right? The rest of the window is contextual based on that selection. Are you seeing the metadata group "Client" is supposed to be in but the "Client" is not showing?

You can use Open PS -Add On to upload MS project file into SAP.
This is available on the service market place under the below mentioned path;
Support Packages and Patches->Supplementary Components for Cross Industry Solutions-> Project Management-> OpenPS->OPENPS FOR MS PROJECT

Hi Harsh,
You can mass upload Projects by using the standard Project Template available, just add another Field "GENERATE_DOCUMENT_ID" in the template and set it too TRUE. It will generate the new UNIQUE_DOC_NAME for the new project which you are creating via the Workbook.
Sample workbook sent to you mail id mentioned above.

In our Implementation client generally gets multiple agreements for a single project. How to specify the Agreement Reference when we are creating an Event for billing? By the way have set up the funding option at the Project Level.

The problem you are raising has no solution by standard functionality.
Oracle promised to solve that for the first time in release 12.1 that should be available during 2009.
There could be customized solution which involve several parts:
Add a DFF on the event, so user can enter the agreement number.
Guide the user to run the GDI process for range of projects with the parameters - project number and agreement number
Develop a billing extension called on pre-processing of the GDI and another one called on the post processing step of the GDI.
The pre-process billing extension will put all project events that are not of the requested agreement on Hold, and any different agreement should also be "put aside in a non billable situation". The post process billing extension will release the hold from the events, and return the agreements to "normal".
I can admit such customization is ugly and risky. However, we have done it and it is working for us on production for several years. I have presented a paper regarding that on Collaborate 2007. You may look for the paper called: "Is it possible to invoice by contract using Projects Billing", on the OAUG web site.

Could you help me to solve an error I receive, when trying to upload Scheduling Agreement (ME31L).
As was advised [here|Re: LSMW to create and change Sched.Agreements and Contracts in Purchasing;, I've used

With help of colleague from Technical Team I've managed to solve this issue.
Enter rate /EUR rate type M for 26.09.2008 in the system settings error
Solution for this Error is to map values for "Currency Key" and "Exchange Rate" fields.
After that another error was raised:
No instance of object type PurchSchedAgreement has been created. External reference: # 2
Obviously, the initial issue was different from exchange rate error. So the error was raised, because not all mandatory fields were mapped. As I was trying to upload "Stock transport Scheduling agreement", it's necessary to assign value to "Supplying (Issuing) Plant in Stock Transport Order" field.
So, the working mapping for me looks like:

Uploading Flash Project

I am new to Flash. Am trying to upload my first project...
Using Dreamweaver 8 in conjunction with Flash 8. I have created a
very simple slide show with Flash with a menu of text buttons which
link to several video files. The project plays perfectly in my
computer, but on the web, I'm only seeing the menu... minus the
videos. After hours of searching, I cannot figure out what I've not
done. I already had all of the video files uploaded, as I had
previously used the same ones in an HTML document. I uploaded the
.swf and .fla file that was published / exported to my Dreamweaver
files. I was anticipating seeing those video files, as they are a
part of my project... but the only files I found were the above two
mentioned. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!! Lisa

the videos should appear to the right of the menu. I have
separate videos for each menu line. I used the flash slide show
application to build this menu. It's working beautifully here...
I'm wondering if I've uploaded all the files I should have. All of
the video files were already previously uploaded into that site, as
I had used them in a different way via Dreamweaver... so I know the
videos are operational. Do you think these files should be in a
certain order, once uploaded to the FTP host?
