AH!! adapter USB plugs in and weird buzz
So.. I'm sitting there listening to my music and I see the battery is almost out and so i get my power adapter usb and plug it into my zen micro. Then I hear this loud buzz going on for like ever. Then I plug it out and then the buttons stopped working and everything freezes and I can't turn it off. SO, I take the battery out and but it back in and everythings normal again..
QUESTION: are there times were I shouldn't plug it into my zen micro? When are the times?
You should be able to plug the adapter in whenever, sounds like some anomaly happened. The only problem I've seen is removing the battery when the player is turned on, which causes an upset.

I Just did an upgrade on my iphone 5. It's stuck with a USB plug in and the iTunes symbol on the screen. I don't have a computer to plug it into what should I do?
You find a computer with iTunes on it, plug your phone in and restore it. it's in recovery mode. you don't have a choice.

IMac Has Flashing Folder and Weird Buzzing/Reading Noise on Startup! Help!
My 2008 iMac froze last nite, and now wont turn back on. It boots to a gray screen with a flashing folder with a question mark on it.
The weird part is that as soon as i turn it on, it makes a loud buzzing/reading noise, as if its trying to read a disc or hard drive. It buzzes like this about ten times, and then stops.
I cant find my install discs, so im currently at a total standstill. Any other solutions besides reinstall? Also, what is the weird buzzing/reading noise?
Thanks!Ok I got the 10.5 install discs, but I still cant boot. I tried holding C and it gets to the Apple logo, but then the screen goes gray and says "you need to restart your computer"
When I try holding D to run diagnostics, it gives me the language choice and then says something like this system does not support hardware test.
I cant boot into single-user mode unless i have the install disc in, but then it just checks the install disc and says it's fine.
Any thoughts?

Macbook pro turns on when power adapter is plugged in
Sometimes my macbook pro (early 2011), turns itself on when i plug the power adapter is plugged in, and the screen is black and unuseable and I have to hold down the power button to turn it off. Then i turn it back on and all is fine.
It does not happen all the time and I believe it has something to do with my power on schedule (my computer turns itself on at 2:00am and turns off at 7:50am) however it still turns on if the power adapter is plugged in after 8am
Just wondering if this happens a lot or my hardware is dodgy? (has happened on 10.7, 10.7.1, 10.7.2)
Tim+I always power down my mac mini when not in use and then turn off the surge protector. ... Also this keeps resetting the internal clock.+
Since you have done this as a habit and it is an older machine, I suspect the "watch battery" inside the Mini that powers the Mini's pram needs to be replaced. These seem to get depleted faster when Minis aren't connected to power full time. -
Macbook pro unexpectedly shut down after an usb plug in
My macbook pro unexpectedly shut down after an usb plug in, and it won't turn back on. Please help!
I have this problem also. The only way to get the computer to turn back on is to open the bottom and disconnect the battery then reconnect. I have found similar problems across the web, some people seem to fix the issue by resetting the SMC, but that doesn't do anything for me.

I have a USB adapter for my iPad, can I plug in a AT&T USB Connect Momentum and use it for my internet connection??
Probably not normally, Apple has removed some of the hidden features of the USB dongle via a software update for iPad. One of those features was playing host to hard drives, keyboards, etc.

How do I use a NORMAL headset (dual 3.5mm) on my new Macbook pro retina? No usb ports available and headset buddy adapter doesn't work.Hi Auracles1,
Here's a pretty discussion regarding wireless printing with this device and a Mac.
http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-networking-and-wireless/HP-Officejet-6500-E 709n-wireless-issue/m-p/258853
I have a similar OfficeJet and it was a multi-step process. (1) Install printer drivers on the machine, (2) Add the printer queue in print & fax, (3) Run the "setup wizard" from the disc for wireless printing. -

I recently got both an iphone 5 and a macbook air. im trying to take the songs off my old phone (iphone 4s) and get them onto my mac's itunes and then be able to sync them to my new 5. every time i plug in the 4s into the mac, it says that the USB is drawing too much power and has to be shut off. what should i do to recover my songs?
Are you using a usb hub or anything like that? If so, try without. Otherwise unplug everything from your mac and reboot with your iphone 4s plugged in and nothing else.
Hope it works!

When I originally downloaded iTunes my iPhone would sync to my computer when I connected the USB plug. Now it won't do it. I removed iTunes from my computer and have attempted to re download iTunes to no avail. I get several error msgs during the download: msvcr80.dll was not found; iTunes was not installed correctly, error 7; Windows error 126; Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device failed to start)
