Hi everyone:
I have a problem with two Cisco AIR AP's ... I have configured already eight of them (in lightweight mode), but those two send me the next error, right now.

The thing is, I've been applying the instruction:
capwap ap controller ip address 10.4.13.2
'cause I want them to communicate with a remote controller, and the past eight did it fine, but this two didn't.
As for the things I've already tried, I have reset it's parameters to it's initial settings, I've tried to load a new IOS image, I've cleared the flash memory, but nothing works, it keeps communicating with the old controller.
How can I fix this? (I mean, changing or adapting the AP to a lightweight AP)
Thanks in advanceIts fine to try to apply it from the console...but if you really want to clear the AP, you need to clear the nvram. so if changing the primary from the GUI that the AP has joined didn't work, then try this:
debug capwap console cli
erase /all nvram
Example:
Entered the username and password
debug capwap console cli
erase /all nvram:
[confirm]
undebug all
reload
[confirm]
Thanks,
Scott

I have a WLC 5508 (software version 7.5.102.0) and it has 175 APS (mixture of 1131, 1142, 1602, 2602). Recently I've noticed that

I've tried restarting the interface,to no avail, but rebooting the whole AP does bring it back up, but I expect that's a solution to the symptom, not the problem.Hi Sean,
There are certain related bugs of this version. You may need to check whether you are hitting one these. I would suggest staying in 7.4.121.0 code would be a good idea unless you require new features available in 7.5 or 7.6.
CSCui66891:Marvell-based radio goes down due to stuck multicast packets in driverSymptom:AP's radio interface goes down and does not recover on its own without an AP reboot.Conditions:With releases 7.2.103.0 - 7.2.115.2, 7.3.101.0 - 7.3.112.0, and 7.4.100.0 - 7.4.110.0, this bug applies to all Marvell-based 802.11n Cisco Aironet access points *except* the 1140, 1040, and certain mesh APs.With releases 7.5.90.0 - 7.5.102.0, this bug applies to *all* Marvell-based 802.11n Cisco Aironet access points.Workaround:None. B-channel oos and protocol error 510
Dear all,
I have some some issue couple of days ago. The telephony system of my client worked well and suddenly the cannot make external calls via E1. I checked the config and for me it seems to be ok. When I checked the SDL file, I can see the B channel out of service error message following by the
"MGCP PROTOCOL ERROR: <S1/SU1/DS1-0/[email protected]> CRCX error code: 510". They have A CUCM 6.0 and Cisco 2821 as gateway with 12.4 (25f) advance IP service IOS.
I perform the following actions without success:
-From the CUCM in the advance service I forced the Bchannel to bring it in service,
- no mgcp/mgcp, -reboot the CUCM and the Gateway,
-reset the controller throug CUCM,... in vain.
They contacted telco and has confirm that everything seems to be ok. Find below the information that can help you to undestand better

Thanks for your helpThe explanation for your syslog message is " The B-channel indicated by this alarm has gone out of service. Some of the more common reasons for a B-channel to go out of service include: Taking the channel out of service intentionally to perform maintenance on either the near- or far-end; MGCP gateway returns an error code 501 or 510 for a MGCP command sent from Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM); MGCP gateway doesn't respond to an MGCP command sent by Unified CM three times; a speed and duplex mismatch exists on the Ethernet port between Unified CM and the MGCP gateway"
Recommended action:
Check the Unified CM advanced service parameter, Change B-channel Maintenance Status to determine if the B-channel has been taken out of service intentionally; Check the Q.931 trace for PRI SERVICE message to determine whether a PSTN provider has taken the B-channel out of service; Reset the MGCP gateway; Check the speed and duplex settings on the Ethernet port. -
Important!!! ldap_rename_s: Protocol error with ldapmoddn
When I use "ldapmoddn" to move a user in Active Directory, I have the error:
"ldap_rename_s: Protocol error
ldap_rename_s: additional info: 00000057: LdapErr: DSID-0C09080A, comment: Error in attribute conversion operation, data 0, v893"
And the command line is:
ldapmoddn -p 389 -h 190.57.160.24 -D "CN=administrateur,CN=USERS,DC=xxx,DC=org" -w taaze -b "CN=a,OU=test,dc=xxx,dc=org" -N "dc=xxx,dc=org"
But the user have minimum information...
It's very important for me because it's for my training periode to validate my master!!
Thanks you very much...If I use only the -N option without -R option
ex:ldapmoddn -p 389 -h 190.57.160.24 -D "CN=administrateur,CN=USERS,DC=xxx,DC=org" -w xxx -b "CN=a,OU=test,dc=xxx,dc=org" -N "dc=xxx,dc=org"
I have this error:
"ldap_rename_s: Protocol error
ldap_rename_s: additional info: 00000057: LdapErr: DSID-0C09080A, comment: Error in attribute conversion operation, data 0, v893"
Can you help me please?????

Irregular line protocol flapping on HSSI
I have been experiencing flapping (only line protocol) on this interface from time to time.
I contacted our upstream we are connected to via this interface but there were not any error indications on his side.

Air App for Android - error 301: application descriptor missing
Greetings!
I've been building in Flash for a while but am brand new to mobile development. I'm currently trying to create my first Android app, a very basic game called "302 Saves The Galaxy". I don't intend to sell the game. I'm really just trying to learn my way through the publication process for future projects.
I've been able to get to the very last step in creating the apk file and I'm getting this error from the command-line process -
"Error 301: Application descriptor missing/cannot be opened"
Here's a screen shot of the command line window -
Here are a few other details about my process -
In Flash, I selected to publish to Air 2.0 because that's the only option I had (ie, no Air 2.5 option)
I've triple-checked and all spellings seem to be correct in my command-line syntax
I'm sure I'm missing something obvoius here. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
JoelHi, Pahup!
Thank you SO MUCH for that tip! That solved the problem! Like I said, I knew it must be something pitifully easy that I was overlooking.
Anyway, I really appreciate your taking the time to respond.

Hi,
Has anyone encountered an error like this? I get this
exception when an SQL gets executed for the second time. The same SQL
works fine for the first time. The exception escapes and the client
crashes.
We are using MS-SQLServer 6.5 on a NT 4.0 box. Forte
vesion 3.0.F.2. The SQL SELECTstatement has been intentionally
suppressed. It just joins two tables and selects a few columns
from them. It works perfectly fine for the very first time.

CVS protocol error with Xcode 3
Dear all,
I'm having a hard time getting Xcode talk to our CVS repository. While everything works fine at command line level, I get the following error from within Xcode 3:
*cvs [server aborted]: protocol error: directory '/E/CVS/repository' not within root 'E:/CVS/repository'*
CVSROOT is set to ":pserver:myname@myserver:/E//CVS/repository"
Again, when exporting CVSROOT from command line and using +cvs co+ everything is fine and also Eclipse3 is happy with the setup.
Anyone a clue?
Cheers
Mobi.Is there a UNC path you could use?
What are you using for a CVS server? Are you just using CVS and pointing it at a shared path? You can run CVSNT on a Windows server and it will provide a decent CVSROOT. You can also try running CVSNT on the Mac (I do), but I don't know if it would help if you aren't running CVSNT on Windows. It might handle that path better, I don't know.
Also, I don't remember if Xcode 3 uses its own internal CVS code or not. I know they have made changes in CVS, and not for the better. Look at your SCM settings and see if you can specify an external CVS client to use. Back in Xcode 2.5, they recommended using "/usr/bin/ocvs" if you had problems. The 'o' was for obsolete. It wasn't really obsolete though. Apple decided as of Xcode 2.5 to start using CVS wrappers again like it was 1997. I don't know what they are doing currently. I switched to CVS-NT and didn't look back. Now I only have random "file is in the way" errors in Xcode. -

What's best? 7200-rpm internal or external?
