Thanks...I have tried the various options and the only item of interest is that my only account on this computer says it has 102 gig of memory used up. However, when I open and look at the individual files, they add up to less than 15 gigs.

AIR-LAP Does not Join With WLC2100

Our offcie use WLC2100 Series controller with AIR-LAP1031 and successfully join and running. Now i am trying to replace one ap with AIR-LAP1041N and join with WLC, but i can't and below the error message generate:

This AP is not supported in controller version 6.0.199.4
Upgrade the WLC 2106 firmware to 7.0.240.0. This firmware will support the newer 1040, however, this version will NOT be able to support the older 1030.
You either replace your very old 1030 or run the 1040 on autonomous IOS.

10 gig iSCSI port in MDS 9509

Hi all,
I have a requirement of 128 port SAN switch (Director class)
-          15 ports should be iSCSI 10g
-          Rest 113 port should be 8 Gbps FC
      I am planning to go with two DS-X9248-96K9 module and one DS-X9224-96K9 to meet 120 ports.But I didnt find any 10 gig iSCSI port which is suported in 9509/9506 chassis. Can you please suggest? I can see only GE modules like DS-X9316-SSNK9.
      Also please suggest whether we get line speed in 48-Port 8-Gbps Fibre Channel Switching Modules?

Correct...the key is that the 48 port line card has the 96 in the p/n. That indicates is it a performance module and has the 6 port groups. There is also what is called a 48 port 8 gig host optimized line card. That one only has 4 groups of 12, in which 1 of those (4 total) can operate in 8gig mode.
The 24 port line card has 8 groups of 3 port...and 1 of those (8 total) can operate in 8 gig mode.
As for the 10 gig iSCSI ports on the MDS...that will probaly not be a feature that the MDS will ever adopt. The MDS is an iSCSI gateway, where by iSCSI initiator can access a native FC target. With the advent of more and more natice iSCSI targets, and the move to 10GE, the Nexus 5K is the swtich to use. It can host iSCSI targets and initiators and provide 10GE for both. The MDS is not a 10GE switch.

IMP: Cisco AIR-CAP1602 &1532 not joining 2504 Controller issue

Dear Team, We have Cisco wireless implementation in clients premises. We have 8 indoor AP (AIR-CAP1602E-AK9) and 2 Outdoor AP (AIR-CAP1532I-AK9) . Seven indoor APs are able to join the 2504 controller, but 1 indoor AIR-CAP1602E AP is not joining and signal is RED continuously while as outdoor AP AIR-CAP1532I-AK9 signal goes blinking from green, red to amber continuously and is not downloading LWAPP image from the controller even after hard reset.

Macbook Air 11" with1.6 ghz and 4 gig upgrade good enough for Ableton Live?

I am in love with the 11" Macbook Air. Its size is very important as I travel a lot and want a computer I can easily take to uni on a regular basis. I want to use it as my only computer, as I have two computers now and it is a hassle. I would mainly use it for watching movies, listening to music, word processing and internet, but also want to use it for producing on Ableton Live. The specifications on Ableton Live say that it needs a minimum 1.8 ghz processor. The Macbook Air 11" is 1.6 ghz. Do you think this matters? I'm not going to use it for live gigs or anything, just producing at home.

I also recommend getting a small external drive to store the Ableton library on. I keep my projects on my local drive, but the Library I keep on an external drive. My library is over 80GB not including sample libraries outside of Ableton.

Cisco WLC 2125 and AIR-LAP1252AG-A-K9 access points

We are running into a little issue here and looking for some help. We have the Controller configured and it appears to be working properly the issue we are running into is that we can only get the above mentioned access points to only join the controller if they are plugged directly into the controller. I would assume that we should be able to plug these access points into any of our switches and they should be able to join the controller correct? Obviously there has to be a configuration issue somewhere and am hoping someone can point us in the right direction.

Problem with setting up AIR-LAP1252AG-A-K9

My company recently handed me 2 used 1252 AIRONET APs that they picked up somewhere to replace and add on to the current AIR-AP1121G-A-K9 that are currently used. I've been successfull at connecting via a Serial Connection in an attempt to the AP's IP via the CLI. But further attempts to connect to the AP via a web interface to continue setup have been a failure. After some research, can anyone confirm that LAP series products can only run Lightweight IOS, hence the need for a CISCO controller, or can I try to flash the firmware to make it into an autonomous AP. I've been fighting with this for a couple days and its getting frustrating. Am I blindly missing something? I've tried resetting the AP to default several times, but no luck. Much thanks!!!

The WAP can run either controller-based IOS or autonomous IOS (aIOS). Console into the WAP and reboot. Post the entire bootup process.

AIR LAP 1142 wont join to WISM 5.2.193.0

I Have a problem when make a replacement of AP 1142 with the new one on existing WLC deployment.
The AP already get IP Address, Option43 and 60 already set.

The log keep repeated itself.
Clock on AP wont synchronized to WLC too, everytime I set a clock on AP, it will back again 2 hours from WLC clock. The funny thing si the other old AP can join to WLC with no problem

AP already download the image from WLC,
Your AP currently have two IOS: One called the "recovery" and the other is the LWAPP/CAPWAP. The recovery is easily identifiable because it has the letters "rcv" in the filename. In enable mode, delete the LWAPP/CAPWAP and reload the AP. Make sure the AP is not connected to the network.
Once the AP boots the "rcv" image, perform the following commands:
1. clear lwapp private
2. clear lwapp ap controller ip address
Reboot the AP and let it join the network.

sticks are in slots 1 and 3 like the Corsaires were in my sig below. The chips on the Gig sticks I have are made by Aeneon, a 2nd tier maker of Infineon.

Same problem! Here is me talking to OCZ support to give you an idea about what has been suggested.
Go to the 4th post down AFTER I got the two sticks.
These two sticks, like the ones mentioned at the beginning of this thread, we garunteed to work with my board.

Trying to console into air-lap1252ag-a-k9 v01

I have just recently purchased this device on ebay as a used product from a bankrupt company, which was selling off old equipments. I am trying to attempt to console into the ap, but am not able to do so, sucessfully. I am using a usb type console to blue rollover cable on com3. I have the power injector plugged in. However, the status light is blinking only. I have tried to use putty to get into the ap, but nothing happens as I tried to use serial, com3, 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bits, none pairty, and flow controle none. It doesn't sucessfully load. Am I doing something wrong here? I even tried the mode button to reset the ap as well and it doesn't help at all. I hope someone here can help me with this?

Console into the ap and power cycle it.... post what shows on the console.

Macbook air mid 2013, size 13, 128gb, problem using 7 port belkin hub with any of my hard drives or wireless mouse or keyboard

the macbook air does not work with my belkin 7 port power hub, it is connected to the wall outlet
and i want to use my micorsoft 2000 wireless keyboard and mouse with the hub and two of my
external Buffalo 1TB hard drives and it does not work with any of those items, the hub
works with my macmini, and a Android TV box, no problem but
just this Macbook air that I just bought is not allowing the hub to work.
The devices plugged into the Macbook air work ok when directly into the computer?
I called APPle Care and they said no issues but I read on Amazon and GOOGLE others
are complaining about using Hub with the air not working but Apple care Senior advisor
says no issues so what can I do?
I will take it in to Apple to check the Computer out with this hub and see if it is the hub on another

HT4889 The migration using Thunderbolt doesn't seem to work. I have two Mac's here, both about 2 months new, one is an AIR and the other an iMac27", both have Thunderbolt ports. I'm using a Thundebolt cable between the two. They never see each other.

I start the AIR in Target Disc mode, then start the iMac and run the Migration Assistant and follow the instructions as outlined here. The iMac just churns and never does come up with the AIR's hard drive.
Both machines are running Mountain Lion and all software is up to date.
Ideas?

Which are you migrating FROM and which TO? The FROM computer should be booted into TDM.

10 Gig Trunk Port

I'm setting up two 3750E switches on a bench prior to installing them - with a ten Gig port trunk port between them. I am running PVST and have pretty standard switch configuration. Show span indicates that all my vlans are forwarding between the ports but the packet rate keeps increasing as if its in a loop. Must be something obvious but can't find it - is there anything special you have to do to those ten GIG Modules to get them to work.

pardon me. I thought you are saying that packets are dropping but you are talking about STP loop.
As mentioned in other post, check if this link creating STP loop because of UDLD ? Maybe one of your cable not working or some other reason.
Though in LR you dont need an attenuator but check the power levels at both sides.Are they within receiver sensitivity? as you must be connecting back to back just with patch cables.
